The sun hadn't risen over the horizon when the sound and smells drew me from my slumber. I opened my eyes to find the shaman standing by the wooden stove stirring the stew that was bubbling in the pot. 'Oh man that smells delicious..' I look around to see Kelsey waking up as well, I stand and stretch myself out grumbling when I hear my shoulders and back pop.

Phet address her first "Hallo, little lady. You sleep long time. Very, very tired. You hungry? Eat. Very tast-ey" he scooped some of the stew in a bowl and set it on the table for her along with a piece of bread.

When I stood up and whined softly he smiled and placed a full bowl down for me. After draining two bowls of the stew l I laid out by the door watching as Phet explained all that Kelsey needed to know,from the origin of Durga to the Kanheri Cave. Before we left he gave her goddess mark, or rather a henna tattoo. And with a last wave from Phet we were on our way

"Well I guess it's back to the jungle for us, huh?" Kelsey asked as we walked through the jungle. We stopped for a short brake at Suki Lake, I huffed when she asked if there were any alligators or crocodiles in the lake as we passed it. 'If she is afraid of a alligator I wonder if she has the stomach for the journey..' I looked back at her and grinned wolfishly, my tongue hanging out of the corner of my mouth causing her to laugh.

Finally after another few hours of walking we came upon the road and there was the Jeep that my father left for us, with a running start I easily leap into the back and growl playfully when Ren jumped in behind me and practically sat on me. 'Not cool' I glared at him before crawling into the passenger seat and tucking myself on the floor beneath the dashboard. Kelsey turned the GPS on and started driving us to the house.

I opened my eyes when I felt the smooth road become bumpy and I could hear the crunching of the dirt road, I jump back up in the passenger seat and bark happily as the mansion came into view

"Whoa.. This place is amazing!" Kelsey exclaimed as she got out the Jeep opening the doors for me and Ren.

"It is isn't it?" I laughed when she jumped at the sound of my voice when I morphed back to human

"Sorry, still getting used to that."

I waved a hand "No worries," I reached over and grabbed one of her bags and we walked into the three-story house. "Father?" I called out as we entered the parlor

"Akira?" I immediately headed toward the sound of his voice and found him in the kitchen cooking us a hot meal, "Oh I'm so glad your safe." he exclaimed as he pulled me into his arms and I instantly relaxed. This is one of the things I missed most when I was stuck as a wolf for the majority of the day; my father's touch. Even when I was in my wolf form he would pet my head or my back but it wasn't the same as his warm embrace. "I hope you aren't terribly angry with me Miss Kelsey" he addressed her with me still in his arms

She sighed as she walked in with Ren trailing beside her "Well, I'm not very happy about the whole walking through the jungle ordeal but," she looked down at Ren "I blame him more then you, or your daughter. He told me that you wanted to tell me the truth, and I understand why you didn't. Honestly if you did tell me back at the circus, I would have thought you were crazy."

Me and my father both started laughing while Ren huffed shaking his head, "I agree with you there," I replied "I don't blame that thought. Now," I stepped out of his arms "If you don't mind I would like to use the rest of my time to take a hot shower," I looked at Kelsey "Because believe me, it is not fun getting a bath by my grumpy cousin Nilima."

She chuckled and my father nodded saying to meet him later in the library. I kissed his cheek and walked out of the kitchen, flicking Ren's ear on my way out earning me a soft growl of annoyance. I climbed the stairs to my room, that housed a queen sized bed, a dresser and a bookshelf with a handful of books. You can say I wasn't much of a collector of anything because I only had seven a minutes a day and I hardly used that time because I would just be at my father's side all day.

Stepping into the bathroom I pulled back the curtain and turned on the hot water, after a minute I step in and let the soothing water run over me. My thoughts were cloudy but there was one thing in the center of my mind... One person to be exact and hopefully with Ren's help I'll be able to track him down.
