Well here's a new chapter I know it's been a while, so sorry about that. Anyways I hope you enjoy it this one is a little longer than usual.
"Thanks Brock," Ash says.
Delia begins to cry its all so overwhelming.
"Mom please don't cry," Ash tells his mom.
"My baby is all grown up," she sobs.
Finally she calms.
"Welcome to the family dear," she tells Latias embracing her tightly.
"By the way congratulations you two," Brock says before leaving.
"Thanks."
"Me and Latias would prefer if the others didn't know yet."
"Sure thing Ash."
One by one the rest of them wake and sleepily wander down to the kitchen for breakfast.
"Well we need to go see the Professor to train you," Latias informs.
They make their way to Oak's lab.
Gary shows up about a week into Ash's training.
"Hey Ashy-boy," Gary says walking up to him, TJ and Latias who are chatting amongst themselves.
Ash tries not to look annoyed but fails miserably.
"Gary," Ash grounds out through gritted teeth.
He always hated Gary calling him that.
"Are you going to introduce me to your friend and the very pretty lady?"
"This is TJ and this is my mate Tia," Ash says grinning proudly.
"Your mate?! You got married?!" Gary exclaims in disbelief.
"Yes but not exactly."
Professor Oak seeing his grandson comes out to see him.
"Hello Gary, it's good to see you."
"Hey Gramps, it's good to see you too."
"Well Ash why don't you show Gary what happened to you," the Professor says.
Ash switches to his Lati form as does Latias.
Gary opens his mouth to speak but cant form words.
Ash and Latias return to human form, They interlock hands with Ash still wearing a smug grin.
"That's incredible," Gary says.
"We should battle to see how strong you are."
"Okay!" says Ash eager to test his new moves.
TJ decides to ref.
"This is a 1 v. 1 Pokémon battle. Ash verses Electivire. The Pokémon left standing wins."
Ash attacks firsts with Dragon Claw but he misses and gets hit hard with an Iron Tail. He slowly gets up then scores a hit with Dragon Pulse. The Dragon Pulse throws Electivire back.
"Electivire use Protect!" Gary commands as Ash fires another Dragon Pulse.
It gets blocked.
"Electivire Thunder Punch!"
Electivire hammers Ash into the ground with Thunder Punch. Ash forces himself to get up with all the strength he has left and unleashes a Luster Purge on Electivire. It knocks out Electivire instantly and Ash collapses to the ground after knocking Electivire out.
"Both Pokémon are unable to battle but Electivire was knocked out first. Ash wins!" TJ announces.
Latias rushes to Ash's side and tries to get him up but he's out cold. She uses Heal Pulse on him and his eyes flick open.
"Uhhgg what happened?" Ash asks groggily.
"You fainted after using Luster Purge."
"So I lost?"
"Nope you won. You knocked Electivire out first. I'm so proud of you Ashy."
He smiles softly and she hugs him.
"Hey Ash you okay?" Gary asks coming over to him.
"Yeah thanks to Latias I'm okay."
"Good."
"You fought very well for your first battle as a Pokémon Ash," Professor Oak says.
"Thanks," ash says sheepishly.
"Me and you should battle TJ," Gary says.
"Sorry but it wouldn't be fair to your Pokémon if we battled," TJ tells him.
"Oh come on I bet I could take you," Gary taunts.
"I'm afraid he's right Gary," the Professor tells him.
"Rayquaza!" TJ calls.
His Rayquaza comes hurdling out of the forest and comes to rest at his trainers side.
Gary stares in Awe
"Why is he black?" Gary asks his grandfather.
"That would be because he's a shiny or alternate coloured Rayquaza," Oak informs.
"TJ isn't just any trainer Gary. He is what you call a dragon master." Oak continues.
"If you really want to battle train hard for another couple years then we can battle. Anyways I need to visit Hoenn for a couple weeks. I best be going. Take care, I might catch up to you when I'm finished in Hoenn."
"By the way congratulations Ash!" TJ says winking as he shoots off into the sky before disappearing out of sight.
"TJ was dragon master Drakes understudy but has since surpassed his teacher," Oak tells Gary.
"That's so cool I wish I got to train with Drake," Gary says.
"Anyways congratulations on winning your first battle as a Pokémon. You really are a fast learner. To think in just over a week you have learned four moves and become comfortable in your new body being able to fly and use psychic powers," Oak tells Ash.
"Well it helps to have awesome teachers like you and Latias. Thanks guys!"
Ash takes to the sky and does loops around Pallet Town traveling supersonic with Latias in chase
Man this never gets old.
Ash is kind of dreading starting another journey as it will be hard to conceal that he's part Pokémon. If the public found out he would be harassed by the media and it would jeopardize his and Latias' safety.
Latias and Ash left the lab stopping briefly to grab a few things before heading to the forest over looking Pallet Town.
Ash opens the picnic basket he brought with him laying down a blanket. He and Latias sit eating their lunch in peace. Ash lays back watching the clouds in his human form with Latias laying against him in her poke form.
Latias coo's softly as he strokes her downy body.
"When are we going to reveal our relationship to the others?" she asks turning to look at him.
"I dunno… I'm afraid that they might not accept it. I know its been hard to hide it from those who don't know."
"I know I understand that Ashy, but I think we should let them know before we return to Alto Mare to tell my family."
"Okay I suppose you're right."
Latias smiles and pecks him on the lips, Ash returns the kiss and deepens it wrapping his arms around her. Lost in their own world neither are aware of the two people approaching.
Iris and Cilan soon reach the two love birds. Iris seeing Ash kissing Latias gets mad at Ash.
"ASH KETCHUM WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"
A familiar voice shouts. Its Iris interrupting
Shit.
"Why are you kissing a Pokémon?!"
"I-err… um" Ash stutters.
He is surprised when Iris slaps him in the face.
"Also why is a Latias here? If that's your Pokémon I'm going to report you because that's like abusing your Pokémon."
"Hehe Hi Ash," Cilan says sheepishly.
"He's not abusing me. I love him," Latias tells her very matter of fact.
"Its still wrong and gross you're a Pokémon and he's a human!"
"Actually I'm not," Ash pipes up.
"What do you mean you're not?! You're Ash Ketchum of course you're human."
"It's a long story that I will get to later but more importantly why are you here?"
"We got a call from TJ letting us know you were home so we took the first flight here," Cilan informs.
Ash sighs.
"'This' is what I was afraid of," Ash voices to Latias.
Ash swaps to his poke form
"As I said I'm a Pokémon now."
Cilan and Iris are too shocked to speak. They seems to stare and him for an eternity.
"Are guy gonna stare at me all day? It's starting to creep me out."
"How are you a Pokémon?!"
Ash shakes his head.
"No one knows including me. Something happened a couple weeks back and I've been a Pokémon ever since."
"Well I suppose since you're both Pokémon it's okay. Sorry for overreacting but Pokephelia is just gross and wrong."
"It's so awesome to see a Latias. I love dragons so much."
Iris continues to stare at Latias in awe.
"It's so unfair! How come you get a legendary and I don't?! Uhhgg Ash I hate you, you're so lucky."
"Anyways now that's out of the way I would like you to meet my new Pokémon and mate Tia."
"Nice to meet you," Cilan says.
"Where is Axew?" Ash questions.
"He's here… Come on out!" Iris says throwing his ball in the air and much to his surprise a Haxorus comes out.
"Oh wow he's all evolved."
"Hax-Haxorus."
"Are you going to tell us how you got Tia?" Cilan asks.
"Sure we can tell you on the way home."
"Several years ago me, Brock and Misty visited Alto Mare where we met Tia…"
"Me and Ash quickly became friends so I brought him to the secret garden to play."
"Team Rocket soon showed up and almost destroyed the city and Tia's brother sacrificed himself to save the city. We left shortly after unfortunately. I was young and oblivious to what I was feeling when we left. I took me a while to understand what I felt. A few weeks ago Team Rocket was once again causing trouble and we were sent to Alto Mare again where I finally was able to tell Tia how I felt and apologized for not returning sooner."
"I forgave him and returned his feelings and decided to come with him to stop Team Rocket."
"She captured herself with my poke ball, we stopped Team Rocket and here we are now."
"Well that's an interesting story," Cilan says.
They continue down the road in comfortable silence until they reach Ash's house.
They make their way inside and find everyone sitting and talking.
"Look who came to visit," Ash says
"Oh hey guys," Brock says getting up to let them sit.
"Hey Iris and Cilan," Dawn greets.
"Where is Max?" Ash inquires.
"Oh he left a while ago with Professor Birch," Dawn tells him.
"Speaking of which me and May need to get back to Cerulean."
"See you later everyone!" Mist and her say as they leave.
"So much for telling them about us," Ash says
"Well we still can tell Dawn," Latias replies.
Iris and Cilan sit down with Dawn, and Brock sits across from them with his Ninetales curled up beside him.
"So Ash why don't you tell us how you became a Pokémon?"
"There isn't much to tell because I don't really know how it happened. Team Rocket had stolen a Soul Dew and were using it to create a new Pokémon called LatiX much like what they did with Mewtwo in an attempt to take over everything. When we got to the lab the Soul Dew was already connected to the machine and they had begun transferring the soul to LatiX. When I grabbed the Soul Dew off the console the was and explosion that knocked me out for a bit. Everything seemed fine, Team Rocket was stopped and arrested. When I woke the next morning though I was a Pokémon.
Latias floats beside Ash. He pulls her into his lap and pecks her on the lips.
Iris seeing this gets up and smacks Ash up side the head.
"Ow, what the hell Iris?"
"If you're going to kiss you better both be Pokémon or both be human otherwise it's disgusting!" Iris fumes.
Brock swallows nervously.
"Well everyone here is in the loop except Dawn so it's only fair we tell her." Ash announces.
"In the loop? Why was I left out?!" Dawn asks getting annoyed.
"Well me and Latias were going to tell Max, May and Misty along with you but they left before we had the chance so we'll share the news now."
"Alright out with it!" Dawn shouts impatiently.
"Me and Latias are mates."
"Mates? As in marriage?" Dawn asks dumbfounded.
"Yes" Latias says.
"Oh wow…" Dawn whispers.
"I can't believe that Ash being so dense when it comes to relationships actually got married."
"Hey!" Ash protests
Everyone laughs.
"On another note where is Pikachu? I haven't seen him in quite a while" Dawn says.
Ash starts to wonder the same thing. He had been spending so much time with his mate that he completely forgot about Pikachu.
"Pikachu! Where are you?!" Ash calls.
He makes his way upstairs and he finds a sad looking Pikachu in the corner of his room. Ash comes over and kneels in front of him.
"Hey buddy what's the matter?"
"Pika-pika-pi(you never hang out with me anymore)."
"I know I'm sorry buddy but Latias is my mate so it's only natural that I spend all my time with her.'
"I can try to hang out with you more, You really need to be in a relationship to understand. How we find you a girlfriend."
"Pika!(Okay!)."
