Chapter 38
Ugh it's been too long since I typed for this story. Sorry guys writter's block is a real bitch. Haha plus I've been doing a lot of stuff in the real world. Sorry guys, I'm making costumes one for myself and one for my best friend. They're inspired by Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn, however they're also made to be interchangeable and be worn as every day clothing. This is a challenge for me, especially Ivy's because she's supposed to be sexy and wear little clothing and have a bunch of leafy patterns. It's hard! But uhm where was I going with this? Feh if you're curious about my costumes I'll be sure to model them on my deviant art page when I'm done. n_n ONWARD TO THE BATTLE FIELD!
Klarion tossed and turned in his bed. An entire month since Raven stepped out on him, since he threatened his life. He couldn't sleep—hadn't for a long time—he had gotten so used to having Raven by his side. He couldn't stand this suffocating feeling, like he can't breathe. It drove him insane, that and the lack of sleep. He had no idea where she was or what she was doing, and he hoped, beyond everything, he hoped she was thinking about him. Even just a fleeting moment on her mind would be enough to satisfy him. Finally giving up on sleep he got out of bed and walked down the hallway to his living room. on a whim he turned on the TV—he never really cared for human entertainment—not that it would really console him anyhow. Only one human could console the witchboy, and that was Raven, however that wouldn't happen. She was gone.
After two years of building her up, from the mere human that she was. After teaching her everything he knew about magic. After saving her countless times from the Justice League, their side kicks, and even the Light on a few occasions. Raven was being ungrateful, that was all. Klarion had gone to save her from Uriah! He was the one who wanted to hurt Raven, not Klarion.
A low growl from Teekl, on the other side of the couch silenced Klarion's anger. Telling him that it was his own fault that Raven had left him, Klarion scowled at his familiar, but he knew the feline was more or less correct. It was his own stupidity that drove her away. Klarion sighed and stared absent mindedly at the TV screen. It was a rerun of an old 1950's show dedicated to the Batman. Klarion rolled his eyes, who in the world thought this was a good show? It was cheesy with over acting. He was about to turn off the program when the screen turned to an image of a reporter standing outside of a jewelry store.
'Breaking news from Gotham,' The female reporter said. 'where two of Gotham's notorious criminals Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, were apprehended with their newest collaborator; a Meta human by the name of Raven Blu.'
Klarion perked up. Raven had been arrested? Then that would mean she'd be going to Belle Reve, and the Light had connections there. Surely he'd be able to retrieve her then, then all it would take is a lot of apologizing and a promise making to get her to accept him again. It was just the ploy he needed to get her back.
"Think again brother Klarion." Teekl mewed, looking toward the screen. Klarion scowled and listened in.
'The three criminals were apprehended by justice league members Nightwing and Zatanna. And upon request the trio will be sent to Arkham for psychiatric therapy.' The reporter continued, Klarion let out a growl and smashed the television with a wave of energy. Getting Raven back would be a challenge now. The light didn't have anything connected to Arkham—not that it would stop him—but this would be a little challenging for him, or…maybe not.
"What are you thinking Klarion?" Teekl asked looking up at his master. Klarion stood as a devilish smirk formed on his face.
"If Raven's been sent to Arkham she's clearly lost it." He began, Teekl's ears twitched.
"Are you sure that's a wise plan? You remember what she said, and she is not a foolish woman." He mewed, "She will notice you."
"Oh don't give me that. This is a brilliant plan, and by the time I'm done, she'll be begging me to take her back." Klarion said, "You'll see Teekl."

Raven sat in a room, it had been at least half a week since she had been sent to Arkham. Currently, she was in therapy, several other inmates accompanied her; Scarecrow, Mad Hatter, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, and The Riddler: Or as they were called in group therapy; Johnathan Crane, Jarvis Tech, Harleen Quinzel and Pamela Isley, and Edward Nigma. She sat with a muzzled Cherie on her shoulder, with the other lunatics while a Doctor by the name of Leland sat with a clipboard and pen. Raven looked around, and just took quick to noticing she was the only one in a straight jacket.
'fucking marvelous.' She grumbled in her head as Dr. Leland scribbled something on her note pad.
"Alright, so who would like to go first?" She asked looking up from her notes. No one answered—not that the good doctor seemed to be surprise about that—she simply narrowed her eyes, "Alright then, how bout we start with where we left off the last time. Miss Isley, do you know why you're here?"
"I was trying to protect my babies." Ivy said crossing her arms, her eyes shifted toward Raven and softened, but quickly she shifted back to Leland and glared.
"Your 'babies' as you put it, are merely plants Isley." Leland said, not noticing the look Ivy gave. "You killed over eighty people the last time while trying to save plants."
"Of course, I protect the earth who is otherwise helpless against the ravages of mankind." She hissed.
"And this has nothing to do with a certain professor you once had…" Leland commented. Ivy glared, she didn't like remembering those days, at the university she once studied at. She'd told Raven before, only in the hopes of calming her down. She never thought it would be thrown back at her again so soon. Leland nodded her head, "I thought so. Don't worry though, we're going to sort through all of that, if not today, at some point. Anyone else feel like sharing?"
Raven let her head drop backward as she occupied herself by looking up and counting the ceiling tiles. Anything was better than listening to the countless back stories of the inmates she was currently sharing a room with. Of course being able to talk to her familiar would be nice too, but for now she would just have to ignore everyone else. Thirty-two, that's how many she had counted so far, then thirty-nine, then forty….
"Raven, you've been awful quiet this session." Leland said, Raven raised her head and met Dr. Leland's gaze. She hadn't spoke because she found the whole idea of talking their problems out. If she had her way, the only people who'd be leaving this asylum would be herself, Cherie, Harley, and Ivy, and a trail of blood that was the solution to their problems. At least, in her mind anyway.
"Is there anything you'd like to share Raven?" Leland asked, Raven narrowed her eyes. Not really.
"Pass." She grumbled, then went back to counting ceiling tiles.
Forty-two, forty-three…
"You won't be able to get out of here unless you talk Raven." Dr. Leland explained, "Unless you come to talk about what landed you in here, you won't be able to recover, and it will only extend your stay at Arkham."
"Don't care, ask someone else to share." She grumbled. Her gaze shifted, and she saw the look on Ivy's face. It was so much a glare, or a look of concern, more likely a mixture of both. Regardless, she wasn't about to share her feelings. Not with Leland, she'd already done that with Ivy and Harley.
"She's a lost cause, a meta human with daddy issues—if I had to guess." Crane said, leaning back in his chair, Raven glared at the former professor.
"OH FUCK YOU ICHABOD!" She hissed, "My relationship with my 'daddy' has nothing to do with the reason I'm here you Sleepy Hallow reject—AH! Sonuva bitch!"
Raven cursed as she glared at Dr. Leland who was holding the control to her collar. She had pressed the shock button sending a surge of electricity throughout Raven's body.
"That, fucking, hurt." She growled. Leland wrote something down on her notepad.
"I'm starting to understand why they asked more guards to cover this session than normal." She said to herself. Raven smirked.
"Tch, so I have anger issues. That's no reason to be locked up in here with a bunch of lunatic criminals, Harley and Ivy." She said proudly.
"Come to think of it, didn't you kill your family?" Crane asked, "If I recall, there was something on the news about you."
"Can it Ichabod." Raven growled.
"Hey that's right, I remember, slashed your mothers throat and your father mysteriously vanished." Nigma added on. Raven seethed. That wasn't true. Mr. Blu had been the one to slash her mother's throat. All Raven had done was shrink her father down to size and let the cats in the alleyway decide his fate. None the less, she was blamed for both.
"I think you two should die now…" She said in a low growl like tone. On her lap Cherie hissed at the two male elder villains, clearly he didn't like the way they were speaking to her either.
"I think this session in over." Leland said, then waved for the guards to come in, "We will pick up where we left off—temper tantrums excluded—tomorrow."
"Temper tantrum? HA!" Raven scoffed as she and the other inmates were ushered out of the room, "Lady you haven't even seen me really angry! Be lucky this collar is on me, because I would just have fun painting the walls of this hellhole red with male blood!"
The last words Raven had shouted, echoed through Dr. Leland's mind, normally rants like that were nothing more than mindless shoutings of a raving lunatic, and were basically ignored. However Dr. Leland couldn't help but wonder, what kind of trauma had Raven Blu gone through for her to hate men so much. Perhaps the next therapy session would be between herself and the patient.
This is a short chapter. Sorry about that. Hey on a side note, I've been doing to debating on Raven's name. now, granted it's waaaaay too late in the game to change her name, but if I were to do so, how would you guys like the name Luna? I mean truth be told the only reason I used the name Raven for this Oc was because I couldn't think of a better one. Names like Raven, Scarlet, October, and other names are sorta typical Goth names, and were the first ones to pop into my head when I created it. Honestly, I liked the name in the first story until people started saying I was making Raven from Teen Titans out to be OOC, of course that's not who this is, as you saw in previous chapters. anyway tell me in the comments what you think of Luna Blu. Like it? Hate it? Tell me! oh and also, On my deviant art page I got bored and decided to upload a real life picture of Cherie Curie the cat. You should check it out, my DA is on my profile. Ok bye!
