I HAVE BEEN SICK FOR 7 GOING ON EIGHT YEARS WITH A RARE HEALTH PROBLEM(AS SOME OF YOU ALREADY KNOW) WHICH IS PARTLY THE REASON ITS BEEN SO LONG. I SPENT 8 MONTHS IN THE HOSPITAL MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO TYPE. I AM NOW SETTLED IN MY OWN PLACE AND FEELING SOMEWHAT BETTER HEALTH WISE. I NOW HAVE TIME TO TYPE OUT THE REST OF THE STORY. I WANTED GIVE YOU A CHAPTER NOW AND LET YOU KNOW THAT I HAVE STARTED TYPING THE REMAINDER. ALSO AGAIN I WANT TO REMIND YOU THAT THE STORY IS FINISHED AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING TYPED. "Well that explains a lot at least we know why you were acting different around women." Ash says chuckling.
Brock lets out a bit of a laugh.
"You were right Tia I feel better... I figured Ash loved you before he was a Pokemon so naturally he'd understand and same for you."
"Well you're not wrong." Latias assures smiling and Ash nods in agreement.
"If you don't mind telling us who this Pokemon is and does she love you back?" Latias inquires.
"You probably can guess if you think hard enough, but I'll just show you." He explains.
Brock taps the door twice. The door opens revealing his Ninetales.
'Hello.' She says entering the room.
She closes the door with one of her nine tails.
"I see why you wanted to learn to speak." Ash reasons
She nods gracefully hopping onto the bed and lays next to Brock with her head in his lap. He strokes her head absent mindedly.
"Well she obviously loves you so whats the problem you need to talk about?"
'Don't you know?...'
"Know what?" They ask confused.
"Our relationship is illegal here!" Brock explains.
"It is?!" Ash exclaims, him and Latias not knowing.
"So that's why Iris was so upset with me." he thinks out loud.
"What are we going to do? We thought you guys knew!"
"Well Brock don't think you're alone in this. I loved Ash long before he was a Pokemon. Although as far as I know it's legal in Alto Mare, it's very taboo. I worried that I would never be with Ash because I was a Pokemon. I cried myself to sleep many nights because of this. If Ash hadn't come when he did I would have done something rash."
Tears roll down Ash's face.
"Oh Tia, I'm so sorry I didn't come sooner." Ash says hugging her.
"It's okay Ashy it worked out for the best." Tia reassures.
"Just know there's probably a lot more of this happening than you think."
"Ash and I will help you in anyway we can."
'Thank you.' Ninetales voices.
"So how did this all start?" Tia inquires.
"Well a while ago she was in heat. She became more and more sexually frustrated as the days passed. Then one night when we were going to sleep she starts grinding against me, exciting me. I started to contemplate whether or not to continue. In the end I couldn't resist and got her out of her frantic state. The next day however I felt horrible. I felt like I had taken advantage of her and couldn't bear to face her. Each day I grew more distant. I thought about trading her or giving her away. I could not face her without feeling guilt. I cried alone by the lake because I was ashamed I had broken her trust and our bond. I felt she hated me and I was heartbroken as we were very close." Brock starts.
'I thought that he hated me after that. I thought it was all my fault. I had destroyed our friendship. I wanted to run away. There was no way to tell him how I felt. I loved him so much but he wouldn't look at me. I decided to leave. I wanted to kiss him one last time before I left though.' Ninetales continues
Brock continues...
"I was asleep in bed all cried out."
'I quietly and softly stepped over him. I gently kissed his cheek... Then I encaptured his lips, kissing him passionately,'
"I opened my eyes to see Ninetales' ruby ones staring back."
'I ran.'
"I knew she had kissed me but was unsure why. I felt very confused. I thought she hated me, yet she kissed me, but now is running away..."
"I then sent my Crobat to find her. My Crobat came back and took me to her location."
"I thought I could see her in the forest 'Ninetales!' I called."
'I woke and looked out from the darkness at him.'
"Please let's just talk."
"Finally she came out. 'Look I know you must hate me for what I did.' Tears ran from her eyes. She shook her head."
"Don't worry we'll find you a new trainer. One who will never take advantage of you like that."
'The thought of him giving me away made me angry.'
'I bit him because I didn't want that, drawing blood. I then felt horrible and started to cry overwhelmed by the situation.'
"I saw her crying. 'Hey it's okay you obviously don't want a new trainer. You are my favourite Pokemon and I feel awful for taking advantage of you and I want you to have a trainer that would never do that. You don't hate me when you should... what do you want?'"
"I tackled him, pinning him to the ground and kissing him with everything I had. He resisted at first but I didn't stop until he gave in. When we broke he asked 'So this is what you want?' I nodded in agreement."
"We made our way back to where we were sleeping. Brock went to the edge of the lake and sat staring at his reflection. Moonlight shimmered across the water. I sauntered over to where he was sitting. I kissed his cheek and sat beside him. 'So you don't hate me?' He asked staring blankly out over the water. I shook my head. I scratched 'My plan' into the dirt with my paw."
"He looked at what I wrote and smiled softly."
"It was clear she had wanted this all along. How would we make this work? We were different species. We couldn't talk and communication was difficult, but we loved each other. I decided that together we would find a way to make it work."
"What a sweet story." Latias tells them.
"Brock you're my best friend. I wished you had come to me sooner, me and Tia could have helped you long before now. None the less we will still do everything we can to help you both."
"Yes, you both deserve to be happy and no one should take that from you." Tia agrees
"We better get some sleep." Ash tells them.
"Goodnight." Everyone says.
Latias slides into bed in front of Ash and he pulls her in close. Brock and Ninetales do the same.
Ash practices the next day fighting with Tia, helping him become stronger.
A couple of days after the discussion, Ash is eating when he notices a mating mark like his own on Brock.
'Look.' Ash tells Tia motioning with his head at Brock.
Latias sees it and smiles.
After eating Ash corners Brock.
"Hey we need to talk, I think I have an idea." He tells Brock.
Brock and Ash go out back to talk while their wives chat.
"So firstly congrats, you deserve it. It's a special bond mating marks are. I didn't know it worked with humans."
"Thanks Ash. We didn't know either but it worked! It's an amazing feeling." He smiles.
"Anyways what's this idea you have?" He continues.
"Well when I was in Kalos I met a great journalist named Alexa..."
"That's great but I'm not seeing how that helps?"
"Well I thought we'd get her to an article on human Pokemon relationships. She's one of the best journalists of all regions. We can petition the government in each region to legalize these relationships. An article like this could help our case. People need to know that it's not an abomination, like many think."
"I don't know Ash it seems kinda risky."
"Don't worry Brock. Alexa will make sure we remain anonymous."
"If you really think this will work then I'm with you."
"Okay so Kalos will be our first stop after Alto Mare. I really hope Lorenzo doesn't freak out." Ash swallows nervously.
"Don't worry Ash. I'll be there to back you up." Brock assures.
"Thanks Brock."
"I thinks it's best we leave tomorrow. Lorenzo and Bianca are probably worrying that we aren't back yet."
They head back in and pack for their next journey.
"I'm glad we're heading back I really miss my Pop and sis." Latias tells Ash.
"I just hope that they're okay with us." Ash worries.
"Don't worry Hun it will be fine." Tia assures.
"We should let everyone know we're going."
"Hey Dawn!" Ash calls.
"Shhhh!" she hushes.
Ash raises an eyebrow.
Dawn smiles and points to the couch. Everyone goes over and find. Pikachu and Buneary cuddled together fast asleep.
Ash chuckles.
"Aww they're so cute." Tia exclaims in a hushed voice.
"Anyways Dawn you need to grab your stuff we are heading back to Alto Mare." Ash informs.
"Ooo I love visiting Alto Mare!"
She goes upstairs to grab her stuff.
Ash decides to wake his sleeping Pokemon. He gently shakes his buddy, causing him to stir.
Pikachu mumbles still not fully awake. So Ash shakes him again finally waking him.
"Hey bud what happened to not liking Buneary?" Ash teases.
Pikachu deadpans and grumbles.
"Don't worry bud I'm just happy you're happy." he assures.
"We are going back to Alto Mare." He tells his friend.
"Pika!" he cheers.
"Bun, Bun!" Buneary choruses.
Dawn comes down the stairs with her stuff all ready to go.
"Alright, Dawn you're going with Tia and Brock's with me."
Ash and Tia change forms.
"Ready to go supersonic? Hold on tight and keep close."
"Bye mom!"
"By honey, bye Tia dear!"
"Bye mom."Tia says.
"Just a heads up we might have some sight sharing fun. It will take about 10 minutes to arrive. We'll stay low so we aren't spotted."
"Please go in and plug your ears mom."
Brock and Dawn hug their Lati's tight and with a blast they shoot out of the forest and out over the water.
'We are going to going to sight share a bit. Basically you see what we see and we'll be in your head. At this speed it's impossible for us to talk. If you want to say something just think it." Ash informs.
'Open sight sharing in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!'
Ash and Tia drop altitude so they're almost touching the water.
'Shit!' Brock and Dawn exclaim as they see the water racing past. Now they see everything through the eyes of the Pokemon they're riding on.
'This is incredible. I wish I was a Lati.' Dawn thinks to them.
'It's so peaceful seeing everything at this speed.' Brock thinks.
They soon see beautiful Alto Mare on the horizon. They stop sight sharing and slow gradually. They try to stay out of view. As they come in.
Tia takes lead and they fly directly to the Secret Garden.
"Okay we are coming into the garden cloaked so no one can see us especially after the sonic boom," Tia notifies.
Dawn and Tia disappear from sight. Ash and Brock follow suit.
The sun is setting behind them. With in minutes they are passing over the buildings and canals of the city. They uncloak once inside the garden and gently touch down. Brock and Dawn climb off their respective Lati's.
"Okay stay quiet. We'll sneak in and surprise them." Latias whispers.
'Wait here.' Tia tells them.
She becomes invisible and quietly enters the house. Latias sneaks up on her sister, who is busy preparing dinner for herself and Lorenzo.
"Boo." Latias whispers in her ear making Bianca shriek.
Tia Laughs as she becomes visible.
"Latias you scared the life out of me."
"I know." she chuckles.
Ash, Dawn, Brock and his Ninetales all walk in laughing.
"Bianca what's all the ruckus about?!" Lorenzo calls from the basement.
"Why don't you come up and see Pops!" she calls back.
"Oh alright" he grumbles slowly coming up the stairs.
He sees everyone upon reaching the top of the stairs.
"Oh heavens you all are back! We were worried sick, with you being gone so long."
"Sorry Pops." Latias apologizes going over to hug him.
"Oh it's quite alright Tia dear."
"Good to see you again Lorenzo." Ash says shaking his hand.
"Thanks Ash. Good to see you as well. I'm just glad you all got back okay!"
"Well Bianca dear we'll have to make more food." he laughs.
"Sure thing Pops!"
*knock, knock, knock*
"Pops grab the door we have a visitor."
"That's odd we rarely get visitors apart from you guys."
Lorenzo opens the door and Ash is surprised at who it is.
"Clemont?!" Ash exclaims.
"Hi Ash!"
"How did you know where I was?" Ash asks.
"Well it's a long story and-oh how rude of me... I'm Clemont and you must be?" he asks shaking Lorenzo's hand.
"I'm Lorenzo, this is my home and two granddaughters." Lorenzo says motioning to Bianca and Latias.
"So you must be a friend of Ash's?"
"That I am, Sir."
"Well come in." Lorenzo invites.
"Oh no, Sir I shouldn't intrude on your dinner. I just needed to speak with Ash briefly and then head back to Kalos." Clemont explains sheepishly.
"Nonsense come on in we can all catch up after dinner."
"Thank you, Sir."
"Oh-ho-ho, enough with the Sir. Please call me Lorenzo."
"Wow this chicken Alfredo is delicious Bianca." Clemont says.
"Mhmmm." everyone else agrees.
"Why thank you." Bianca says blushing politely.
When they finish eating Lorenzo says "Let's all gather in the family room and catch up."
"Well Clemont I hate to put you on the spot but how on earth did you find Ash here?" Lorenzo asks.
"It's kind of a long story. Anyways when I got my keystone a couple years back I installed a tracker on it. That way if it got lost or stolen I would be able to find it. At the end of Ash's journey in Kalos we had to part ways as I had a gym to get back to and Ash had other aspirations. So Ash must have accidentally taken mine as they are almost identical. I never really got a chance to get it back until now and here I am,"
"That's quite the story." Lorenzo chuckles.
"Sorry for taking your keystone Clemont. I had no idea." Ash apologizes sheepishly.
They swap keystones.
"No worries Ash. It doesn't really make a difference but I kinda wanted mine back. I planned to do some tests and research on it and figured you wouldn't like it tampered with."
"Well now we can hear about your adventure chasing Team Rocket."
"You guys were chasing Team Rocket?!" Clemont asks in shock.
"Knowing Team Rocket it couldn't have been good. I had no idea they were still alive and kicking." he continues.
"It was somewhat of a surprise to us as well."
"I think there are some things that we need to get out of the way so long as everyone's open minded." Ash says.
"Well I may be old but I'm not going to be judgmental. I've seen a lot in my life and know the importance of keeping an open mind." Lorenzo states.
"We second that!" everyone agrees.
"Except the being old." Brock quips.
Eliciting laughter.
"Well lets work our way from the smaller to the bigger of news and stories." Ash suggests.
"If it's okay with you, you can start us off."
"Okay, well... I don't know how to start..." Brock sighs.
"Take your time Brock." Dawn soothes.
"Well I guess I'll begin by introducing my Pokemon."
"Everyone you probably already know this but this is my Ninetales."
"I don't know how that's news." Lorenzo says confused.
"You will in a moment." Ash assures.
"Go ahead, hun." He says petting his wife.
"Hi everyone."
"Oh wow. My days you can talk!" Lorenzo exclaims.
"You have quite a special Pokemon there Brock." Clemont tells him.
"Don't I know it." Brock says smiling.
"Anyways I wont bore you with the details of how this came to be... I'll give you a moment to see if you can figure out what I'm going to share."
As they are thinking Lorenzo gets it.
"Oh wow, It's certainly legal but very taboo. At least in Alto Mare that is. I support your relationship. You are lucky Brock although you probably already know this being a breeder. I didn't even know it was possible... Anyways congratulations to you both."
"Thanks Lorenzo it means a lot." Brock tells him
"Yes, thank you." Ninetales agrees.
"You are most welcome."
"Huh?" Clemont says confused.
"I don't understand."says Dawn feeling the same.
"If you noticed what my Pops did or had knowledge of Pokemon relationships you would have spotted the green band on the front paw of Brock's Ninetales." Latias explains.
"Sorry I still don't understand..." Dawn says.
"The green band on my paw is called a mating mark." Ninetales kindly clarifies.
"Wait that means you and you... Oh wow I had no idea. I was wondering why Brock was acting different around girls. This explains everything. Anyways in Sinnoh it's very popular and highly supported. So you are safe with me and congratulations." Dawn says with a warm smile.
"Thanks Dawn." Ninetales responds.
"In the Kalos region it is strictly forbidden, though it's gaining popularity. Personally I have no qualms with it."
"I stand by my Pops." Bianca states.
"Thanks for the support everyone." Brock says.
"What about you Ash and Tia?" Clemont inquires.
"We'll get to that later. First I have something to share." Ash tells them.
Ash switches to his Pokemon form and everyone stares in shock.
"Ash how were you like this and I never knew?" Clemont asks concerned.
Ash laughs.
"Unfortunately or fortunately however you want to look at it. I was not born a Pokemon. It's just something that happened recently. You see we were chasing Team Rocket because they stole a Soul Dew. They were trying to create a new Pokemon. When I saved the Soul Dew there was and explosion of light and when I woke up the following morning I was what you see before you now."
"It would seem the Soul Dew channelled into you making you a Latios... But why are you black?" Clemont thinks aloud.
"I have no answers..." Ash sighs.
"Although the professor did analyze me and found that I'm still partial human... Let's move to the next reveal."
"Clemont you are the only one here who doesn't know this. Can you agree to never tell anyone what you see tonight?"
"You have my word Ash." Clemont affirms.
Ash nods and Tia changes to her Poke form.
"Oh this is amazing a real Latias and Latios before my eyes... and you're-you're mates?!" Clemont exclaims speechless.
Lorenzo gets angry.
"You mated with my granddaughter without my permission?" he huffs.
"Pops please don't be mad at Ash. He had every intention of asking you but never got the opportunity." Latias defends.
"Sir if I may." Brock starts.
Lorenzo crosses his arms
"Go ahead Brock." he agrees still somewhat annoyed.
"Well as I'm sure you know Pokemon mate for life. Also the mating marks can only form if their love is and will be forever."
"I understand Brock. What angers me is that he mated without asking my permission."
Tears drip from Ash's eyes.
"I'm sorry Lorenzo... I wanted to ask your permission. Having your blessing is very important to me. I wanted to ask so bad but the series of events made it impossible to do so. I want to be a part of your family. I do hope you can forgive me and it would mean the world to me and Tia if we had your blessing."
"You have my blessing on one condition and that is you have a wedding. I know for Pokemon mating is a private thing but I have always wanted to walk one of my girls down the is aisle."
"That sounds reasonable and very do able." Ash agrees.
'The truth is Pops I loved Ash since we first met. I pretended that my depression was from the loss of Tio, but the truth is it was because Ash left and never returned.' Latias tells only Lorenzo.
"I'm so sorry dear, I wish I would have know the reality. I can't imagine your pain." Lorenzo apologizes hugging her.
"Where will you guys live? And who will guard the city?" Lorenzo asks.
"If I may Lorenzo. I think I have a solution." Clemont answers.
"Really?!" Latias asks excitedly.
"The future is now thanks to science!..."
"Oh brother." Ash rolls his eyes.
'His plans usually explode.' He tells only Tia.
Latias can't help but feel more than a little disappointed.
"I call this the 'Alto Mare Emergency City Saver'."
"As you can see if the device senses a threat then it will automatically track and destroy it. Let me demonstrate."
"uh-oh here goes."
"I'll send this drone out to attack the city and..."
*BOOM!*
Everyone winces.
"It worked! My invention worked!" Clemont cheers excitedly.
"I guess the Lati won't be required to stand guard anymore. We'll keep the stories about the Guardians as they're a rich part of Alto Mare's history." Lorenzo states.
"Thanks Clemont. I finally have freedom because of you." Tia says hugging him with tears in her eyes.
"You're welcome." Clemont says surprised.
"We need to store the servers underground somewhere close by..." Clemont thinks.
"Lorenzo would you be able to get a shipping crate?"
"I know someone who could get one he works on the docks not too far from here."
"Awesome that'll work great."
"Give me a moment to give him a call."Lorenzo says going inside to call.
"So Ash how's life as a Pokemon?" Clemont inquires.
"It's great Clemont, the ability to fly never gets old. How about you come for a ride with me before you leave?" Ash offers.
"I think I'll take you up on that offer it sounds exciting. For once in my life I won't be left behind."
Ash and Brock laugh while the others are puzzled.
"Let's just say Clemont is the slowest person on earth."
"I like to see it as everyone else walks abnormally fast." Clemont interjects.
They all laugh.
Latias pulls Ash towards the swing. She sits on the swing.
"Push me." she tells him.
Ash agrees and she climbs higher with each push as she did all those years ago. This time laughing and still radiating that same joy. As she slows she hops off stealing his hat.
"Hey!" Ash cries.
Tia giggles and goes to run but he snags her and pulls her into a hug from behind.
"Got you." he whispers to her.
She hums in content placing his hat back on his head. He hugs her tight with his head resting in the crook of her neck.
"Love you." she says.
"Forever."
"Forever." she agrees.
They stay together looking out over the water and up into the night sky. Suddenly they see a shooting star.
"Make a wish?" he asks.
She nods.
"What did you wish for?"
"I'm not telling silly that'll ruin the wish." Tia tells him knocking his hat over his eyes.
Lorenzo finally returns to Brock and Clemont.
"Well Clemont it will be at the dock tomorrow afternoon."
"Excellent." Clemont replies.
Lorenzo looks out at the couple.
"It's not hard to tell he makes her happy. Haven't seen her like this in years." Lorenzo smiles.
"Well Lorenzo from what I can tell she makes him just as happy and content too." Brock responds.
"I've never seen two people love each other as much as them... They're so close it's like they're one person." Clemont comments.
"I'm very happy they have each other... Alright I'm going to bed. *sigh* being old definitely has its limitations." Lorenzo laughs.
"Tomorrow will be a long day of setting up the defence system. I think I'll call it a night too."
"No need to leave everyone. You can stay here we have room." Bianca notifies.
"Thanks Bianca." Clemont appreciates.
"Ash? Tia? Are you coming in?" Bianca asks them.
"We might later but the plan was to sleep out here." Tia replies.
Bianca nods
It was just her and Ash now.
They walk over to the fountain and stare into the pool of water at the Soul Dew. It's beautiful as ever, only it served as a painful memory. A reminder of someone who is no longer here.
"You miss him don't you..."
Tia nods.
"I wish that it had never happened. I wish I had been strong enough to stop them so he would still be alive."
Mean while...
On Mt. Chimney a tagged Pokemon sound asleep, suddenly awakens.
"I know Ashy but what happened can't be changed. What matters now is that we have each other."
"You're right babe." Ash agrees kissing her.
They lace their hands together and walk to the tree to go to sleep. They close their eyes and are nodding off, when there's a splash followed by a thud.
They open their eyes to see two unconscious Latios.
"What the hell? Where'd they come from?"
"I was thinking the same." Ash replies.
"We need to check if they're still alive"
Ash goes to the one by the fountain to check for a pulse. Tia looks to him hopefully, but shakes his head not feeling a pulse.
She checks the other Latios only to get the same result. They both begin to glow signalling they're becoming Soul Dews.
The light emitted is blinding, making them close their eyes. When the light fades they are confused by what they see...
The Latios in the fountain is still there, while the other has become a Soul Dew. Latias picks up the Soul Dew putting it in her bag. They walk over to the one that didn't become a Soul Dew.
Ash checks it again for a pulse...
"Tia it has a pulse! Quick we need to get him to a Pokemon Centre." Ash exclaims.
In her panic she drops her bag.
They change forms, flying to the nearest PC with the unconscious Pokemon. Failing to notice the Soul Dew missing in the fountain. A Pokemon take the Soul Dew from Tia's purse placing it in the fountain. Giggling it floats off into the night.
"Nurse joy we have an unconscious Pokemon with a weak pulse come quick!" Ash calls.
The nurses run to them putting the Latios on a stretcher. Quickly they rush it inside. Ash and Tia follow.
"Well it doesn't look good. We have him hooked up to a machine helping him breathe and his pulse still isn't that strong. We'll know more in the next couple days How he's going to fare." the doctor tells them.
"Okay thanks Doc." Ash nods.
"We better get some sleep." They curl up together on an empty bed and fall asleep.
They wake the next day around lunch time.
"We really need to get back." Latias mentions.
They cloak themselves and fly quickly back to the house.
When they arrive everyone is inside eating.
"We're back!" They call walking in.
"What happened to you two?" Lorenzo asks.
"Well last night two Latios fell from the sky an-"
Ash gets cut off.
"Ha Ha very funny." Dawn states dryly not believing him.
"I know it sounds weird but it's true." Latias defends.
"One became a Soul Dew and the other didn't and had weak pulse. We rushed him to the PC and stayed overnight there." Ash explains.
"So where is this Soul Dew?" Lorenzo asks.
"It's in my purse outside I'll grab it on sec." She runs out to the garden to grab it from her purse. When she opens her purse there is no Soul Dew.
"Oh no! This is horrible..."
"What is it hun?" Ash asks concerned
"It's gone. The Soul Dew is gone."
"How could this have happened?" Latias asks dejectedly.
"I just hope it hasn't made its way into the wrong hands." Lorenzo worries.
There's a loud crack overhead and a not falls from the sky.
Brock catches the note and reads it.
"Don't worry the Soul Dew is safe."
"Signed '-You're friend M'."
"This keeps getting stranger." Tia thinks aloud.
"Pops you should stay here in case we get anymore unexpected messages." Bianca directs.
"Okay dear."
"Me and Tia better check the PC to see how the Latios we brought there is doing."
"Me, Ninetales and Dawn will go with you."Brock says
Ash nods.
"As for me I have to pick up the shipping crate. Also I'll have work for you two when you get back."Clemont states.
Lorenzo hand him the papers for the shipment.
"Thanks." Clemont says taking the papers.
Everyone heads to their respective objectives.
When the arrive at the Pokemon Centre Ash and Tia go to the front desk.
"Hi we're here about the Latios we brought in last night." Latias tells Nurse Joy.
"Yes I remember you two. Please follow but your friends will have to wait here."
Brock and Dawn sit down in the waiting area. Dawn starts reading a magazine on Pokemon health. While Brock relaxes with his wife curled up in his lap.
Ash and Latias walk through the halls follow Nurse Joy to the room the Latios is being held.
"Alright he's just through he-"
She stops mid sentence when she sees the empty bed with medical machines beeping and going off.
"Oh dear this isn't good! We need to put out an alert."
'Hello Ash... don't panic just keep walking.' A deep ominous voice says inside his head.
'I need you to separate yourself from the others.'
"Hey guys, I'm not liking this. Tia protect everyone and head to the garden. I'll grab Clemont and meet you all there."
They all set off back to the garden.
"I'm alone now what do you want?" Ash ask leaving the PC.
'Go north two blocks. Then west two blocks. North again one block and east the same. It'll be the first alley on your left.' The voice instructs.
Ash follows the directions and reaches the destination with little difficulty. He enters the alley its pitch black a seems like a dead end.
'Hi Ash.'
"Who are you and what are you playing at?!" Ash demands frustrated and a little nervous.
'Oh Ash you give me too much credit. I'm not playing at anything... You know I've wanted to kill you for the longest time...' the voice cackles.
