Kagome comes down the stair ready for another day with Rin. As she enters the kitchen she stops Shessomaru is standing there glaring at her.
"Today and tomorrow I will be looking after Rin. I do not need you here. Go have some 'free time'. He steered at her.
"If I just leave, Rin will be sad I can't do that to her."
"Make an excuse and leave I want to spend time with my daughter."
Kagome to a deep breath, and released it she knew this was going to be hard on the both of them. At least Shesshomaru wanted to spend time with Rin. Rin has been asking for him every night.
"I will go get Rin ready and tell her I have to go finish settling my house for this weekend but I cannot be gone every weekend this is not a sable environment for her like this." Kagome said with a frown, then turned before he could reply and went upstairs again.
Rin was just waking as Kagome came in the room. The bars on the crib were still up, Kagome knew all was not right for Rin yet.
"Good morning little one. Are you excited to spend time with your daddy today?"
"We play with daddy?"
"Just you Rin. I have to go back to my home and finish packing. That way I can live here all the time with you." Rin smiles and was excited to see her dad. Kagome helped get her ready and went down. Sesshomaru smiled as Rin ran to him.
Kagome soon left saying bye to both Rin and Shesshomaru. She went to her house the movers would be there on Monday Sango had already said she would be there to make sure everything would be loaded into the moving trucks one would be coming to Shesshomaru's house and the other would be going to her mothers where it would be stored until she needed it again. Kagome was lonely without Rin but she understands that Shesshomaru wants some time to be with Rin.

Shessomaru was really happy Rin was excited to be with him. He now had her undivided attention and she wasn't crying for anyone. On that Saturday they just stayed in the house and played. Then on Sunday Rin was a little sadder since she hasn't seen Kagome for a day now but Shesshomaru could pull giggles and smiles from her, but he knew soon she would be down again. Can he go back to not seeing Rin for a little hole week again work was getting back to a manageable. Maybe he should come home to spend time with Rin before bedtime. He sighed maybe it was time to have a talk with Kagome

That night Kagome came home before Rin went to bed. Rin was so excited Kagome was home she had both people who meant the most to her here with her. She ran to Kagome wanting a hug. "Tell me a bed time story, bedtime story"
Shesshomaru watched them said "Kagome once she is asleep we need to talk. Goodnight Rin sleep well." Kagome nodded and headed up to Rins room. That night Rin still wanted to sleep in the crib but as Kagome was about to but up the bars on the crib Rin called out "bars down don't need up." Kagome smiled Rin was getting better.
Kagome came down Shesshomaru was once again in the kitchen.
"So what do you want to talk about" Kagome asked
"This week I had a lot of work so could be home anytime for Rin now that it is more manageable I will be come home some time around dinner. So you can have the evening to yourself and I will put Rin to bed that is what you wanted right?"
"Yes but couldn't we work together."
"I am trying but I can't just forget what your brother did and what happened. I can not just be together."
Kagome sighed she knew this was a problem but at least he was trying to be with Rin. She nodded this was at least a good first step.
