A couple weeks has passed and they have made a routine. Shesshomaru would be up and gone before Kagome went downstairs. She would then spend the day playing and teaching Rin. In the evening, Kagome and Rin had dinner, Shessomaru would come home during this time but he did not eat with them. When Rin was done, she would say night might to Kagome and go to Shesshomaru's office where he would be waiting and take her upstairs and read her a bedtime story and tuck her into bed. Kagome would clean up and set the plate for Shesshomaru on the counter and go to her room where she would work on stuff toys she had been creating. Shesshomaru would come back down and eat then work in his office till he went to bed. On the weekends Shesshomaru would take Rin out for the day, but more recently she would cry and want Kagome to come with them.
It seems like this weekend Rin had enough. Kagome went in and got Rin ready for the day and brought her down stairs. When Shesshomaru reaches to take her to go out to the zoo for the day which was exciting for her last night. Rin starts to screen and will not let Kagome go.
"No leave Kagome. She come too. Have too see animals together. Have to be together not apart." She just kept crying.
They looked at each other should they just let her cry or give in. Kagome hates to see her like this she was willing to go with them it means Rin is happy. She looks at Shesshomaru. He doesn't want to but it might be the only thing he can do so he can she his little one happy again. He nods.
"What are you talking about Rin of course I am going with you I want to see all the animals you talked about yesterday too" Kagome said with a smile. That puts a halt on Rins cry and she looks up to Shesshomaru's face is this real she get to spend her day with both people she loves the most.
"shall we be on our way we have a lot of animals to see today." Was the only thing he says but Rin see that he is willing to be with both of them. Rin breaks in the widest grin possible this day had just gotten a hundred times better.

On the way to the zoo was an awkward ride for the people in the front neither wanting to speed and Rin just rattling on in the back. But they make it to the zoo as they are walking in Rin grabs both of their hands swinging them and smiling. Kagome smiled back "so where should we start?"
As the day goes on Shesshomaru starts a interacting more and more with Kagome. Rin is sitting on Shesshomaru's shoulder while holding Kagome hand, he is reading out loud a bout an a small monkey while both girls are looking at them play behind glass. When ones jumps down and hits the glass starling Kagome into grabbing Shesshomaru and hiding in his chest. Just as suddenly she jumps back red faced and stammers an apology. Shesshomaru is stunned and Rin giggles. Kagome now feels awkward again around Shesshomaru, what should she do? Shesshomaru clears his throat "let's conitue shall we." "Yes what is in the next display." Kagome said wanting to forget all about the embarrassing moment and the feel of Shesshomaru's chest.
The rest of the trip went without a hitch. By the time they got home Rin was asleep in the back. Shesshomaru said "I'll put her to bed you can get some rest yourself." Then took Rin up to bed, and went to his room after. There he had nothing to stop him from remembering the day and the fun he had with both Rin and Kagome. But also, how it felt nice when Kagome grabbed him. He had an aromatic response to put his arm around her and it didn't disgust him. What is wrong with him, he must just miss having a woman. But even before Kikiyo died they hadn't been together in a while. That must be it. He just needs to go out with someone then Kagome will leave his mind and he can go back to hating her
