Chapter One: We Got This
Zed was walking along the walkway with his little sister, Zoey was happy they had just come from the beach, she was so happy that Zombies were able to go anywhere they wanted now. Zoey looked up at her big brother and smiled.
"Are you asking Addison to Prawn?" Zoey asked looking towards him and smiled brightly, Zoey was so happy that Addison had given Zed a chance, and a human being with a Zombie was different and she liked it.
Zed noticed that Coach was over on the street, selling his froyo. Zed smiled softly as he walked over to where he was, "Hey Coach." He spoke looking over at him, everyone seemed so relaxed about Zombies being around and this was what Zed wanted.
"Hey Zed, Where is your pretty Cheerleader?" Coach asked, referring to Addison, Zed smiled softly and looked towards Zoey.
"She is away with Cheer Camp, we are planning on surprising her, I am going to ask her to Prawn." Zed spoke, with a bright smile on his face.
"Aw isn't that nice, I hope she says yes, but I bet she does, you know two are perfect together, which reminds me do you want something?" he asked looking towards Zoey and Zed.
"Cauliflower brains mocha crunch please." Zoey spoke softly as Coach nodded his head and grabbed a big scoop of the ice cream for her, he looked towards Zed and smiled,
"Just Vanilla for me." He spoke before looking towards Zoey and shook his head, As they walked away from Coach.
"In a couple days, we're even tearing down old Seabrook power to build a new cheer pavilion" Zed spoke looking towards the Camera " And not to take too much credit for all the positive changes, but yeah, I did good. It's hard to believe there was a time when people were afraid of zombies. Okay, let's triple check that." He spoke walking towards the place his father worked.
"Hey, Dad" Zed spoke holding Zoey close to him, yes he was very protective of his sister, and he would do anything for her, but his life on the line for her health and safety.
"Hey, son" His father spoke and smiled brightly, "Zoey Hey!" He added softly and looked back at Zed. "First day as foreman of the demo crew. Big day for zombie-kind." He spoke.
"Yeah, you'll do great Dad." Zed said looking towards him, "Just don't make any lame zombie dad jokes." He added
"But the workin' stiffs love 'em" His father said walking off to get on with his day of work.
