Hi everyone! It's been a long long while. I don't even know if there are still of you following this story. I apologize for not updating these past few 4 years? lol. A lot of things has happened to me in RL. I actually thought of giving up this story since I didn't have the time to update. However, it so happened that I stumbled upon a Beelzebub video in YouTube and it made me remember this story that I made. This update was made in 2017 but it wasn't finished. I have just completed this chapter today and I am very sorry for this very late update.
I also would like to thank those readers who left reviews. Many times I wanted to finish this story and update here as soon as I can, but I just don't have the time. I hope you understand. And thanks again for following this story.
I don't know if I will be able to finish this story but I will update when I have the chance.
As always, Beelzebub isn't mine. I apologize for some grammatical errors but I hope you enjoy this one.
Chapter VII
The Baby Dilemma
Blink. Blink.
"Where am I?" Oga grumbled as he slowly opened his eyes. "Where is this place?"
Everything seemed so dark around him. There was no light except for the one that shone upon him like a spotlight. He squinted his eyes and moved his head from left to right to make out of his surroundings. After awhile, things suddenly started to come out from the darkness. He could see a high chair placed on a platform in front of him. It was made of gold and it sparkled like some newly polished artifact. On it were a scepter and a crown carefully laid on two soft red cushions. Unable to comprehend what's happening, he began to walk towards the golden chair as it was the only thing he saw in that dark place. He stared at the crown and scepter for a moment then picked them up. Without even thinking, he slowly placed the crown on his head. He smugly grinned as the crown sat atop his head like it was perfectly made for him. When he was about to sit on the golden chair, he was suddenly startled by the sound of trumpets booming behind him. He quickly turned around and saw thousands of people cheering and bowing before him.
"All hail the king! All hail the king!" the crowd shouted in chorus.
"Wha-what are you doing?!" Oga stammered, shocked by the scene. The shouts of the people echoed in his ears as they started advancing. Overwhelmed, he threw the crown and the scepter back to the golden chair and ran away as fast as he could from the cheering crowd. When he looked back, he couldn't believe his eyes as he saw the people were chasing after him, their faces had no other features except their creepy smiles. This gave Oga chills and he somehow felt terrified. But what was more terrifying for him was that the elegant golden chair from before was now hovering above the chasing crowd and it now had a wide mouth that hysterically laughed at him and a pair of wiggly arms that held the crown and scepter.
"Gaaah! Stop chasing after me!" Oga shouted nervously. "This is ridiculous! None of this makes sense. I must be dreaming. Yes! This is all just a dream. Hey ME! Wake up! Wake up this instant!"
He shouted all this as he ran but to no avail. No matter how many times he did it, he wouldn't wake up. The crowd was just getting nearer and nearer to him. The golden chair was also getting bigger and bigger as it flew above the crowd. He felt creeped out by these people especially the laughing chair. He was about to stop running and would just punch his way out of all these nonsense when suddenly, like how most dreams work, another unexpected thing appeared. A shiny green door, illuminated by some kind of light above, popped up from nowhere and caught his attention. He couldn't make out all its details but he could see the weird aura emanating from it which seemed to call out to him. He didn't give it much thought so he sprinted towards the door (because it was either these creepy people or the suspicious looking door). When he was near it, it creaked open and bursts of light came out that blinded him for a moment. He quickly halted as he covered his eyes. Then out of nowhere, a small voice suddenly surprised him.
"Dada!"
.
.
.
.
Oga jerked from his bed as he breathe in and out heavily. Beads of sweat ran down from his temples to his jaw. He slapped his face with both hands a few times to make sure that he was awake. When he felt his face stung from the pain, he assured himself that he wasn't dreaming anymore. He looked to the windows and saw the morning rays of the sun seeping through the sides of the big curtains. He sat up groggily on the side of his bed and sighed, his left hand scratching the back of his head.
"Tch, that was a creepy dream", he said. "I shouldn't have overslept..."
When he got up, he lazily yawned and mumbled more complaints about his dream and how it would surely ruin his day. He didn't know why but it kind of bothered him. He stretched his arms and legs and did a few push ups on the floor hoping that it would distract himself from thinking too much about it when suddenly, he heard something rustling on his bed. He stood up to see what it was and to his surprise he noticed a small bump under his blanket which he didn't notice awhile ago. It was wriggling on the bed as if it was trying to find its way out of the soft mass of cloth. He knitted his brows wondering what it was. It couldn't be a squirrel or a cat for it was quite bigger and besides he didn't have any pets. Nevertheless, he thought that he'd scare the shit out of this creature whatever it was. So, he slowly tip-toed as he moved towards his bed then clutched on the hem of his blanket.
"Hehehe", he grinned excitedly. "You won't get away now... Oraaaaah!"
As he yanked the whole sheet away from the bed, the small "thing" stopped wriggling and sat up. Its little golden eyes twinkled at the sight of the man before him.
"Dabuh? Dabuuuh!" exclaimed the creature when he was found out.
"Huh?" Oga blinked in surprise as he saw a green haired baby, who was now raising up its small hands to him. The baby boy looked happy and excited when he saw him. However, Oga was rather confused and wondered why there's a naked, green haired baby boy doing on his bed.
"Who are you?" Oga asked the innocent yet peppy little boy. "Where's your mother?"
"Ai, ai! Dabuh da-da", the baby responded as if he understood the man or as if the man could understand his vocabulary. Before Oga could say anything, the little boy started crawling on fours, stood up at the end of the bed and jumped straight to him without warning. Luckily, (and thank heavens he's got good reflexes) he caught the little boy by his ankle just in time before his small body could hit the floor.
"What the?! Watch where you're going damn it..." Oga cursed as he looked at the baby who was now dangling upside down from his hand. He turned the little boy upright and then held him properly in front of him so he could take a good look. He stared at the innocent kid for a long time, his face showing his own bewilderment of the situation. The baby just looked back at him and then slowly raised his cute little hand to pinch the man's nose. Oga slightly winched but he didn't stop the baby from what he was doing. He just watched him and realized that the kid had not shown any sign of fear from his fall. In fact, it seemed that this kid trusted him to actually catch him when he jumped.
"Yahr one carelessh baby ya know."
Knock. Knock.
The door opened and Furuichi came in with his usual plain, bored look. He then calmly walked towards Oga and the baby, his face hiding any hint of surprise, if there was any, at what was in front of him.
"So you really brought him here huh?," said Furuichi as he looked at the baby. "To be honest, I was expecting that I'd be brought instantly to the dungeon and be interrogated about this, the moment I came here...but, oi Oga, did you even tell your family abo-"
"Hold up, Furuichi!", Oga quickly interrupted his friend, small beads of sweat started forming on his forehead. "You know this little guy?"
"What are you saying?" Furuichi answered. "Did you hit your head or something? No, wait. You're just pretending that you forgot what happened yesterday, right?"
"What?" Oga replied with a serious face, clearly oblivious to what his friend was saying.
Furuichi gaped at his friend's reaction, unable to process at what he just heard. His lips twitched nervously as he forced a smile. His black haired friend, on the other hand, just looked back at him waiting for an answer. Realizing that this stupid big idiot, he call as a friend, didn't really have a clue to what he just said, Furuichi couldn't help but broke out into a hysterical laugh which was full of disbelief and sarcasm. It lasted for a minute... then another... and another... until it irritated his confused and extremely clueless friend who was standing near him. It didn't help that his laugh suddenly reminded his black haired firend of the golden chair in his dream.
Shivers ran down through Oga's spine at the thought. Had he not held the baby with his hands, he could've punched Furuichi right there and then. Instead, he just kicked his friend to the side to stop his annoying laughter. Of course, it worked. The helpless white haired man crouched on the floor whimpering, his hysterical laugh now gone. That gave Oga satisfaction as he smirked down at him.
"Oga you big idiot!" cried Furuichi as he cringed after receiving the blow. He then stood up and pointed his finger to the baby and raised his voice, "It was your idea to take that baby with us after we fought those thugs yesterday!"
"Huh? What thugs?" Oga said, more confused than ever, a drop of sweat finally slid down on the side of his temple.
"What, what thugs?" his friend asked him back. "Don't pretend that you forgot what happened yesterday Oga. I was held a hostage and got tied with a rope yesterday...TWICE! How in the hell could you forget that?"
"You must be kidding me", Oga replied, his mind trying to remember what really happened. "You're held hostage twice yesterday? So what does your being a hostage have to do with this baby?"
"Listen you dumbass Oga," Furuichi began to explain. "Yesterday, I and Lamia were held captive by the MK5 right? And you and Hilda-san fought them to save us. After that, we ran away like hell because the beautiful yet dangerous Hilda-san was about to beat the shit out of us. I would have gotten the chance to know her a bit more if only she hadn't heard that stupid FALSE news that she's your 'woman'!(*He was grumbling when he said this but he really wanted to emphasize this last bit because he was jealous). And I would have properly introduced myself to her like the gentleman or the gallant knight that I am... Oh Hilda-san..."
"Pfft! More like a cowardly gentleman", teased his black haired friend. "Just stay on topic will you?"
Furuichi frowned at his friend and sighed one last time before continuing, "Anyway, when we were on our way home, we came across those thugs. There were six or maybe seven of them who were arguing by the river. They looked like thieves though, and if I heard correctly, they were talking about ransom money and killing someone. I was about to tell you that we should just retreat and report them to the royal guards but you suddenly ran towards them and started punching one of them without any reason like the big moron you are! Sometimes, I couldn't help but wonder how your brain's working or is it even working..."
"Huh! As if I need a reason to stop those thugs from killing someone!"
"But it was dangerous and we were outnumbered! Did you even think about that? Ah! Of course you did not because you just let your knuckles do the thinking for you!"
"Furuichiii!", Oga warned his friend as he wickedly grinned at him like a devil.
"Fine, fine", Furuichi quickly and nervously raised his palms trying to calm his friend. "One of them got me and tied me up, threatening that they'd kill me if you won't let them pass."
"Ahaha! You always get caught and made hostage Furuichi."
"Ai dabuhh!" the baby suddenly interjected with his right thumb up as if to agree with the black haired man. This made Oga chuckle even more.
"Stop laughing you moron!" the white haired man protested at his friend, his eyes started welling up with tears. "You know darn well that I was at a disadvantage. They had weapons for goodness sake! And you were too busy fighting the rest of them when I was calling out for help. I don't know why the writer made me look like I am a weak character because I am not! I am the coolest character here. The COOLEST! Ya hear that?! Hostage? and TWICE? Hah! This is very unfair but it's not what we're talking about here, is it?"
Oga, still grinning, just nodded at his friend's complaints. The baby also happily agreed with his childish baby talk.
But after a moment, Oga asked again with all seriousness, "So... why is this baby with me and not with you?"
"Geez Oga..." asked Furuichi somewhat defeated by his friend's ability to forget things. "We found him crying in those thugs' carriage, remember? We agreed to leave him there until someone else find him but he won't stop crying. And you, being the short-tempered idiot that you are, picked him up instead and started yelling at him. I thought it'd frighten the baby even more instead of making it stop crying. But then there must be something wrong with that baby because he actually stopped crying and started clinging on your shirt after you just yelled at him."
"That so? Furuichi...I-I think I remember now", Oga finally said, the holes of his nose getting bigger. He looked as if he was struggling as he tried to pull away the little boy that was now clinging on to him. "Hnngh..! I can't still get him off! I must have fallen asleep senseless last night after trying to get him off of me. Is this kid made of glue or something?!"
Furuichi looked at his friend with a blank face. He thought his friend looked silly trying to pull the baby away from his shirt. He looked at them like they were some comic duo from books he had read.
"Don't just stand there!" Oga shouted at him. "Help me get rid of this thing!"
The white haired man sighed and moved towards his friend. He then started pulling the kid's chubby little legs while Oga tried to pry the kid's little fingers that were tightly gripping on his shirt. And it was not for the first time that they were surprised by the little boy's strength. They also tried this method yesterday and just like today, it didn't work. The two men finally stopped, beads of sweat ran down from their temples. The baby, on the other hand, just looked at them with his innocent golden eyes.
"What are you going to do now Oga?" Furuichi asked as he wiped the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand. "It looks like you won't be getting rid of him pretty soon."
"Tch, I know that dammit..." Oga muttered.
"You know, there is only one way that we could get rid of him..." Furuichi said to his friend after some thought.
As if his friend's words made him realized something, Oga stood up, walked towards the nearby table, grabbed something then turned to his friend with a wicked grin on his face. "You're right, Furuichi!"
*shiing*
Eyes wide and extremely terrified, Furuichi shouted to his friend, "What the heck Oga?! Are you crazy? Put that sword away you devil! That's not what I meant!"
"Oh?" Oga quickly changed his expression and replied cooly with his usual blank face as he returned the sword to the table like nothing happened. "Then what do you exactly mean Furuichi?"
"I was going to say that-"
*Bang*
The bedroom's door suddenly flung wide open. A black haired woman entered and walked towards the astonished men.
"What the heck are you both arguing about so early in the morning?" Oga's sister, Misaki, came in with an annoyed expression on her face. "Oi Tatsumi! How many times do I have to tell you to get up early and join us for breakfast? Mother's been complaining and asking me to come get you, you stupid moron. And here you are arguing about a- huh?"
"Shiiiiiiiiiiiit!" Oga and Furuichi blanched as they both screamed inside their heads.
"What's that?" Misaki asked calmly, her index finger pointing towards Oga. "Is that-huh?"
The black haired man quickly turned his back away from his sister, desperately trying to hide the baby that's been clinging onto his shirt. Furuichi just stood there pale and sweating while giving Misaki nervous smiles. He even tried to greet the woman a good morning as best and as calmly as he could but she just shoved him out of the way with such a force that he slammed into the wall creating tiny cracks in the concrete.
"H-Hey Misaki!" Oga nervously said to his sister as he warily took a glance at his friend who was now lying on the floor, possibly unconscious. "W-What are you doing here? You-You said breakfast right? Haha. That's just what we were arguing about. I'm going downstairs after a minute so-"
"So what you moron?" Misaki said, her left eyebrow raised. "Oi Tatsumi! What are you really hiding back there?"
"I-It's n-nothing... H-haha! W-What are you
talking about?"
"Oh you're trying to make a fool of me now, are you?" Misaki warned him, her mouth quickly turned into a wicked grin.
If there's anything that Oga's always been afraid of, it's his sister especially when she began to show this side of her. He couldn't help but gulped down the lump that's been forming in his throat. He looked at his still unconscious friend one more time, hoping that the latter might tell him what to do but it was no use. His sister, on the other hand, was now crunching her knuckles and looking at him devilishly.
"Don't make me count to three Oga Tatsumi. Kekeke!"
"What?!"
"You know what I can do right?" Misaki asked.
"M-Misaki just calm down o-okay? W-We can just talk-"
*Hiyaaaaah!*
Oga suddenly ducked his head but not because he actually ducked from his sister's axe kick but because the blow had already landed right down his head. He dropped to the floor, face down. If her sister's foot was sharp like a blade, he could've sworn it would split his skull wide open.
"You didn't even count to three dammit!" Oga managed to say, a trickle of blood oozing down his forehead.
"Hah! I don't have time for this you moron." His sister shouted back at him. "Now, what exactly are you hiding from m- eh? Is that? Tatsumi is that-?"
"Dabuhh dah!" said the green haired baby, who was now sitting beside her brother.
"Oh?" Misaki picked up the baby with both hands. She held him up in front of her, her eyebrows knitting as if trying to examine him. "Wait a minute..."
She looked at the baby, then to Tatsumi, then back at the baby, then to Tatsumi again...She did this a couple more times until she suddenly gasped with disbelief, "eeeeeeh!?"
Startled by his sister's reaction, Oga stood up immediately, a bead of sweat running down the side of his cheek, "Oi, oi Misaki! Why the hell are looking at me like that?"
Something inside him was telling him that this couldn't be good. Her sister calmly gave the baby back to him without uttering another word. Even though he's still confused and nervous, the black haired man accepted and took the baby with his hands like it was some kind of a reflex. Misaki stood there looking at them from head to toe. Then, as if in approval, she finally nodded her head. She stepped closer to Tatsumi, chuckled silently and then-
*Uuuk*
"Tatsuuumiiii!" Misaki shouted as she gave her brother a deadly headlock. "You bastard! What have you done? You're always up to no good! How long have you been trying to hide your kid from us huh? You better come downstairs and explain this to mom and dad!"
"Whaaat?!" Furuichi suddenly came back to life and exclaimed his astonishment. "M-Misaki wait... I-It's not what you think..."
"Shut up Takachin..." Misaki looked over her shoulders at the white haired man, her eyes glinting like daggers. "Or do you want me to slam you again on the wall since you didn't tell me right away about my nephew? You don't want that, do you? If you understand, then don't interrupt me. M'Kay?"
Misaki ended her statement with a friendly smile, yet somehow, Furuichi couldn't help but gape and sweat nervously. He didn't feel relieved after listening to Misaki. The woman clearly did not intend to make him feel at ease with those icy words that was surely in between a warning or a threat. He just stood there frozen...
While he was in a daze, something instantly snapped him back from his thoughts. A strong hand siezed him by the collar and dragged him down. He tried to free himself but he couldn't. When he looked at whose hand it was...
"Fu-ru-ichiiii...You're...gonna..hafta ..come...with me!" Oga said in between breaths as he struggled to speak from his sister's strong deadly grip.
The baby, on the other hand, was still clinging on Oga's shirt. He tilted his head to the side unable to comprehend what was happening. "Dabuh?" The lady in front, who was now leading the pack downstairs, was shouting but he couldn't understand what she was saying. When she looked back and gave him a sweet smile, the little boy then laughed thinking that all was well even if the two men of the parade were desperately trying to escape from the doom that awaited them.
After awhile, Misaki finally stopped in front of a big door. It opened wide as soon as she knocked. The ridiculously looking parade of three and a half went inside. There they saw Oga's parents enjoying their breakfast, talking happily of how a good morning it was. They didn't even notice the three people entering until Misaki cleared her throat...
The father and the mother both looked up in unison.
"What is it this time Misaki?" asked Oga's father, somewhat irritated.
"Misaki kindly release your brother and let us eat," the mother said sweetly. The fresh air in this garden, along with the sweet smelling flowers around, was surely giving her a good mood. She thought it was giving her a youthful glow despite her age. "It's a very fine morning and it would be better if we eat breakfast together like a normal family. Oh Furuichi is here too? Have a seat then!"
"It is indeed, mother!" agreed Misaki before she released her brother from her deadly headlock. "And speaking of family, we now have a new member... Jaaaan!"
Misaki quickly presented the naked green haired baby boy in front of her parents, as if she was showing off her trophy. The parents kept their smiling faces, not seeming to be surprised at what Misaki showed them and not noticing that the two men behind Misaki were sweating like hell (or that the white haired one was about to shit in his pants). The men hoped for it to be over since the parents didn't really notice but then...
"And he's Tatsumi's son! Tehee!" Misaki happily added and declared.
"Oh, is he? Well he's certainly cute and-"
The father stopped from drinking his coffee and looked up to his daughter. The hot drink spilled from its cup onto his clothes but his face was still emotionless. The mother who was about to put the delicious food in her mouth quickly turned her head and stared blankly at Misaki... The latter, though, kept on smiling and even looked proud at the baby. A deafening silence, which seemed to last for eternity, followed and filled the atmosphere of the lovely garden. Though the chirping of some birds and the cascading water from a fountain could be heard nearby.
"Ai dabuh duh?" the baby finally broke the silence. His golden eyes twinkling with wonder.
Oga's sweat dropped as he was about to move from where he's standing to say something but then-
"Aaaaaah! It's hot! Hot! Hot! Hot!", the father leaped from his heat as he now felt the burning sensation from the spilled hot liquid. "Water, water! Quick!"
The servants, who seemed to be freed from there trance, acted immediately. However, in a panic, one servant splashed all the contents of his pitcher towards his master. Unfortunately, he forgot that it was hot coffee inside the container. The father screamed even more and ran round-n-round the table like an idiot. To the servant's horror, he again panicked as he quickly tried to help his master.
"Maaster!" he shouted as he ran towards the screaming man and tackled him unceremoniously towards the nearby fountain. A big splash of water rose up from the fountain as if someone detonated a bomb under it.
On the other hand, the mother looked at her husband with that same emotionless face. The food still impaled to the fork that was half way lifted towards her mouth. She then slowly turned her head towards her daughter who was now seated beside her and calmly eating her breakfast. The naked green haired toddler, however, crawled back to where his son was standing and started to climb up his son's body. The boy paused as he clung to Oga's shirt and turned towards her. The toddler slowly raised his tiny hands and made a thumbs up.
"Eh? W-What's...?", the mother trailed off as she fainted and slumped limply on her chair, still unbelievably holding the fork in her hand.
"Ahaha! Mom's surely over dramatic this morning", Misaki laughed as she helped her mother sat up properly. "Get a hold of yourself, mom. It's just Tatsumi's son. That's all."
"I-I told you it's not like that!", Oga nervously shouted from where he stood. He's also getting annoyed by his family's reactions, especially how Misaki just casually declared and went along with this nonsense. "He's not my damn kid, you morons! Tell them, Furuichi!"
As he turned to ask for his friend's help, the white haired man was already running for his life. He headed towards the door and tried to open it but to his disbelief, it was closed shut as if it was locked by some kind of force.
"Let me out! Let me out dammit!", he wildly banged the door, tears streaming down his face. "Gyaaa! Hnnngh! I said let me ou-"
He was about to kick the goddamn door when he heard an ominous thud close to his right ear. When he caught sight of the object, his eyes bulged and beads of sweat trickled down his temple.
"My, my. Takachin, where do you think you're going?", Misaki asked after she threw a fork to the horrified white haired man. Her face looked like a devil's. "Didn't mother tell you to be seated? You there! Help him sit, please."
Furuichi thought his life flashed before his eyes. The next thing he knew, he was kneeling a few feet away from the table with his hands tied behind him. Two men in uniform positioned their weapons just below his neck.
"Gyaaah! W-What's going on here?!" Furuichi nervously asked. The two men looked at him with evil eyes. He thought he was gonna be executed or something. "I-I didn't do anything! D-Don't know anything. The dungeon's better than this!"
"Huh? The dungeon's too good a punishment for you, you damn Furuichi!" Oga told him with his usual devil may care expression. "Hmm, this croquette tastes better than yesterday."
"What the hell are you doing there?!", Furuichi complained. "To hell with that croquette you damn Oga! Why am I being treated like this?"
"Shut up Furui- gaak!"
"You shut up, my good for nothing of a brother!" Misaki hand chopped Oga's nape that he vomitted the food he just swallowed. "Oi, you two! Let him sit there beside Takachin. Mom, you okay now?"
"Eh? Eh? M-Misaki what were you s-saying?", the mother slightly trembled as she asked, still haven't caught up with what was happening.
"Haaah, I told you that boy is Tatsumi's kid." Misaki sighed as she replied. "Just take a look at both of them."
Her mother looked towards Tatsumi and the boy. She stared at them eagerly. His son, whose sweating like hell as he sat, nervously looked back at her. The boy also sat beside him and he looked as if he was waiting patiently for the woman's judgment. Finally, the woman sighed and then,
"Tatsumiiii! I can't believe you did this." Oga's mother suddenly cried, biting down the edge of a white handkerchief as tears streamed down her face. "To think that we did our best to raise you properly and now you did something like this?"
"What the hell are you saying?" Oga answered her mother from where he was seated. "I-I told you it's not-"
"Dear!", his father suddenly jumped from the fountain, clothes wet and dripping as he walked towards the table. "We must not jump into conclusions! Let me see for myself."
He turned to look at his son and the green haired baby boy sitting next to him. He raised the side of his glasses to examine them properly. He slightly nodded as if agreeing to some kind of calculations he performed in his mind. Oga somehow felt the relief creeping back to his body while watching him. His father might not easily be convinced after all, not like the rest of his family. But then-
"T-They looked quite alike, don't they?", his father muttered as he looked back to his wife and daughter, a slightly shaking finger pointing towards Oga and the boy.
"Then what the hell are you nodding for, dammit?!" Oga shouted back at his father.
"I never would've imagined that Tasumi would do something like this," his mother added while crying.
"To think he would hide our grandchild from us," the father replied while on his knees as if he was defeated. "Have I failed as a father?"
To his dismay, both Misaki and Tatsumi nodded. Though heartbroken from his children's agreement, the father continued. "Nevertheless, since this has already happened, there is only one thing to do..."
Without any warning, his father jumped and executed his special move, "the sliding grovel".
"What the hell are you doing?!" Oga said.
"Tatsumi! We must apologize to the mother's kid for what you've done. You should tell her that you will take all responsibility and raise this child!"
"Ah yes dear, you should grovel more until your forehead bleeds."
"Right!" the father easily agreed as he grovel on the ground. The servants and the guards looked confused to what was happening. They just let everything unfold before them.
"So, who's the mother Oga?" Misaki asked after chewing her food. "Hey, what's the name of the kid, by the way?"
Oga's mouth gaped wide open at what was happening. He couldn't believed his family just accepted everything. No, more like made up everything and went along with it. At this point, he couldn't think of anything to convince them that this damn brat is not his, that he just picked him by the side of a road crying in a broken thieves' carriage. No way in hell his family would believe that, especially now that they think the boy's related to him. The said boy, on the other hand, was now sleeping soundly despite all the ruckus. His small head rested on his lap.
"So?" Misaki inquired again.
"So what, you idiot?", Oga replied with his possible final attempt to convince his family. "I told you I don't know this kid. I don't know his name. Don't even know his mother!"
"H-He's right Misaki..." Furuichi added trying to back up his friend. "W-We just picked that kid from the side of the road in a carriage owned by thieves."
"Oh my! Do you hear that dear?" her mother said. "Why have you left this kid behind Tatsumi knowing that there are thieves roaming around in a carriage? I can't believe you put him in danger, your own son..."
"H-Huh? That's not what I just said", Furuichi tried to explain.
"Enough, Furuchin!" said Oga's father. "You don't have to cover our stupid son anymore. As his parents, we also take responsibility of what he did and we will make sure that he's gonna raise this kid properly whether he like it or not. So now, Tatsumi! Tell me the name of the lady that you-"
Oga couldn't help it anymore that he stood up and kicked his father to the side. "Shut up, stupid old man! How many times do I have to tell you? I don't know her and this kid's damn name!"
"The young master's name is Kaiser de Emperana Beelzebub IV."
"Huh? What's that?" Oga asked, annoyed by the sudden interruption.
"Ehem! I said his name is Kaiser de Emperana Beelze-"
"Waah! Who the hell are you?" Furuichi jumped in surprise as he kicked an old man with a curly hair and a weird mustache who suddenly appeared and was sitting next to him.
"Ah that hurt, Furuichi-dono", the said old man blushed as he replied to the white haired man. "Forgive me for interrupting. My name is Alaindelon and I am a servant to the young master. Nice to meet you all."
All the people in garden just stared blankly at the sudden introduction of the strange old dude. They were wondering how he got there. He just appeared from nowhere. Furuichi, however, was wondering how the hell did this old dude know his name. As he was creeped out by this sudden appearance, he thought very loudly in his mind,
"Damn you, writer! Don't even think of doing what your planning! I've had enough of this weirdness already!"
Author's notes: Shut up, Creepichi! Be grateful I have completed this chapter with you in it. If you complain anymore, I certainly would have you killed in the next chapter. hahaha!
