Tyler couldn't help but smile at the sight of the woman. Her hair was platinum blonde and braided in a tight braid that hang down her back. She wore a tight, knee long, mint green dress with a little mint green hairband on top of her head. But it was her eyes that made him smile. They were mint green too. He had seen her around a couple of times but he hadn't spoken to her.
"Do you know that woman?" He asked Fandango.
"I've seen her around a few times but I haven't talked to her. She doesn't work here. She's friends with someone but I'm not sure who," Fandango answered.
Someone chuckled behind them. They turned around and noticed Rhea Ripley who clearly had overheard them.
"She's my cousin," Rhea said. "She just moved over here and she's currently living with me. Hunter gave the green light to bring her around. He's thinking about maybe hiring her as a ring announcer. For now she's just hanging around and getting a closer look at the business."
Tyler moved his eyes to the woman in mint green again. She was smiling at him. He blushed and looked at Rhea again.
"She likes mint green, huh?" Tyler asked.
"You have no idea how much," Rhea answered.
"What's her name?" Tyler asked.
"Why don't you go ask her yourself?" Rhea smirked. "She likes you."
"How do you know?" Tyler asked.
"Because she told me," Rhea answered. "Be a man or a coward. It's your call."
"Come on, Breezy," Fandango egged his friend on. "What have you got to lose?"
Tyler took a deep breath and nodded. Fandango was right. He didn't have anything to lose. If she turned him down, that would be it. No hard feelings. He walked straight up to the woman. Her smile seemed to grow bigger and warmer the closer he got.
"Hi," he said.
"Hello," she said.
"Rhea told me to come say hello. She refused to tell me your name. She said I had to ask you myself," he said.
"Tequila Mint," she said.
He couldn't help but laugh.
"Well, that's a name I haven't heard before," he laughed.
"Like Tyler Breeze is any better," she smirked.
"You're right," he said. "And Mint does suit you with your eyes."
"I know," she said. "And it's my favorite color."
"I kinda guessed," he chuckled.
She smiled again, and he smiled back. She seemed like a sweetheart with some humor to her. The type of woman that he liked.
"So are you gonna ask me, or do I have to ask you?" She asked.
"Ask you what?" He asked confused.
"To go on a date?" She grinned. "I'll do it to take the pressure off. Tyler, will you go out with me? I'll even pay if you want me to."
"We'll split the bill," he laughed. "But yes, I'll go out with you. Thank you for not making this super awkward. I was nervous enough already."
"Me too," she said.
"You don't look nervous at all," he said.
"I hide it well," she winked. "Dinner tomorrow night?"
"Yes, dinner. That sounds good. I know where Rhea lives so I'll pick you up at 5.30," he said.
He hurried back to Fandango for a quick round of gossip before they had to get to the ring. Meanwhile Rhea walked over to her cousin.
"So?" Rhea asked.
"I got a date tomorrow night," Tequila answered.
"See, I told you he liked you too. You both just needed a little push," Rhea said.
"You're so my favorite cousin right now," Tequila said.
"I always was," Rhea grinned. "Alright, I crave coffee. Let's go find some."
