Sakura x Naruto

Your Love is a LIE

He watched her hug and give him a kiss on the cheek. It still hurts.

Naruto sat on the roof watching them being so happy.

Hinata has been lying to him and herself for all these years. How could he be so stupid?

Everyone loves Sasuke Uchiha. Nobody loves the fox-demon.

Naruto started to walk around the village just to try and not think about Hinata and Sasuke eating and laughing together, but it's all he thinks about.

Naruto finds himself at the ramen shop, of course it's closed, but he can stay there till morning.

"Naruto?" Waking up to a voice that he wasn't excepting, Sakura stood over him. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Hinata. And Sasuke. Together." He said in a low mumble.

Sakura understood right away what he was talking about. "Come on. You can stay at my place." She helped him up and they walked to her apartment.

She helped him to her bed and he fell asleep soundly.

Sakura made breakfast while he snoozed away and called Sasuke.

"What?" He said walking in the door.

"What were you doing with Hinata? Last night." She asked.

Sasuke shrugged. "She came over and made dinner. She felt bad for me that you, divorced me." He said crossing his arms.

"Really? I have Naruto in there, and you know what he told me, you and Hinata, together."

"You think I'm having an affair with Hinata? Naruto's wife? Sounds like you are Sakura with him in YOUR bed." Sasuke said.

Sakura rolled her eyes. "Please. You and Karin. That WAS something. Maybe nothing for you, but something for her, and that was enough for me." She said.

"And that's why you left me. Sure it's not the fact Naruto loves you more? That he still loves you and-"

"GET THE HELL OUT!" She threw a blender at Sasuke. He ducked and ran out the door.

Sakura wasn't the same after the divorce. She had to raise a daughter all on her own. And it's not easy. How is Naruto going to handle two kids if he ends up like her?

"Morning."

"Hey Naruto. Want something to eat?" She offered.

Naruto sat down and she brought over a plate. "She loved me right? Was it ALL a LIE?!" He asked himself.

Sakura sighed. "I don't know. That's something you'll need to talk to her about. But I'll be here for you. If you need anything. I know what this feels like." Sakura said patting him on the shoulder.

"Thanks Sakura. Your the best." He smiled.

After a good breakfast Naruto headed home to have a talk with Hinata. And it was terrible.

Everyone in the village, including Hinata's father, had heard of the rumor of her and Sasuke and it was all anyone could talk about.

Sakura has been there to support Naruto through all of this. And so has many of their friends.

"Hey. Evening." Naruto said walking into Sakura's place.

"Hey. Hi, Boruto. How are you?"

"Fine. Still don't know why we are eating here."

"Because Sakura has been helpful in the case of what your mother is putting us through." Naruto said.

"Mom. Why are they here?" Sarada asks.

Sakura rolls her eyes. "Just come and eat."

"Is mom really going to leave us?" Boruto asks.

Naruto didn't answer. "Let's hope not. Whatever this thing is with your mom and my ex, is going to sort out and blow over." Sakura said. "She would never leave you."

Sarada scoffed but didn't say a word.

Dinner was peaceful and full of fun and laughter.

Memories of Naruto and Sakura's time together. With and without Sasuke on the same team.

A small love that never was a lie, the love Naruto and Sakura share secretly.

The End
