Hello there. It's me, ya boy Ghjkl63, or Scott if you wish as the MC of Bad Company is a cringey Mary Sue self-insert. I'm sorry that you haven't had an update for Bad Company for five years but to be totally honest I kinda lost interest in it after I published Chapter 5. In recent months I've thought a lot about continuing the story to give it and you a satisfying ending. Well me too I guess since it irks me that I only published a handful of chapters and dropped it. Anywho yeah I'm planning out a number of new chapters due to popular demand in a Discord server I'm in. No real plot for them yet as I lost my original manuscript for what I did write down for Bad Company. Don't get too excited though because I plan on writing all the new chapters, proofreading and editing them, then publishing them one at a time after they meet my standards. I'm hoping to get at least most of them in rough draft before Labor Day of this year as after that I'm going to be too busy with work and family engagements to really sit down and write. You'll notice that the new chapters will be longer and hopefully come of as having been written by an adult instead of a high school student who just became a full on weeaboo. At the time of me writing this I'm also considering changes to how certain characters act but there isn't anything set in stone right now.
I've also been considering, in the past week or two at least, taking the base concept of a multinational task force in the Special Region and put it into a new story with a decent chunk of the same characters, or well, same names and mostly the same service histories and not being Mary Sues. This is another thing not set in stone but I'd like to write it and if there's enough demand from you all for a new story in the same vein and actually written well, or hopefully well, and with a less chaotic writing style and a slimmer cast of characters and without so much IP salad. For that one also thinking about changing some of the history of Earth to fit my ideas better, as I am the god of this story line after all. The revised story may also get sequels if you and any other readers demand it. Bad Company will not be receiving a sequel, prequel or any other stories set in the same universe because it's cringey shit written by a cringey young adult in is early days of being a weeb and it needs to be used as an example of how not to write a crossover fanfic.
Beyond all that give me some feedback about what you might want to happen in Bad Company in future chapters, I'll check back in a week or so after posting this to read through any feedback you post on this "chapter" which it should be obvious that I'd like all new feedback to be in response to this...letter I guess? So if y'all could do that it would be great.
