Buzzing. It was all she could hear. Loud, constantly buzzing. Gritting her teeth, she tried to shake her head, as if that would dispel the noise. It didn't. But that may also be because she could not shake her head. She could not move it at all. Panic began to set in. Trying to open her eyes, she realised she was completely paralysed and had no idea what was happening. Where was she? How did she get here? Her mind raced as she tried to think of any coherent thought that made sense, but she drew a blank.
Okay.
Breath.
Inhaling, thankful she was able to do at least that, she smelt mold. It was pungent and almost caused her to cough immediately. Breathing back out, she tried to remember what had happened beforehand. Lake. Naruto. Sasuke. Karin. Sakura.
Karin and Sakura.
Suddenly everything hit her at once. A bombardment of images and emotions hit her as she remembered the cruel grins curled on each female's lips and Sasuke face first in the water. Anger rippled through her. Hot and all-encompassing. She wasn't well adjusted to the feeling, but she already didn't like it. Where was she now? All she remembered was falling. Falling. There was really only one place to fall to when your feet were already on the ground. Pale eyes snapped open as she realised where she was. At least, vaguely. It was dark. Almost pitch black except for the white orb that seemed to float in front of her. Squinting at it, she tried to reach for it as it called out to her. Only to hear clanking and her hand suddenly stop. Pale fingers began to tingle as her feeling slowly regained. It would have been a relief had she not had two thick metal braces wrapped around her wrists. Pearly whites' bit into her soft lip. She was chained to a wall in a dark room that reeked of mold and dampness. Her knees scrapped painfully on the cement ground, bloodied and broken while she stared helplessly at the white in front of her.
She didn't like it.
Where was Sasuke? Was he okay? What of Naruto, what happened to him? What had those two done to them? In her moment of panicked thought, the white orb began spinning. Flashes of Sasuke, Naruto, and the two women appear. Too quickly for her to notice any detail, but it was them. She furrowed her eyebrows. The orb went white again. What was it? Why did it flash? How did it know who she was thinking of? Swallowing, what felt like a pebble in her throat, she tried to think of something specific. The Lake. Looking at the orb, eyes brimming with hope, she faltered. Nothing. Digging her teeth into her lip, she tried again. This time, she thought of the baker in town.
The man with bright red triangles on his cheeks and shaggy brown hair. Closing her eyes to try and visualise him, she played the scene of when she was offered cinnamon rolls for the first time. A small smile filled her lips when she remembered the baker flirting with her, only for Sasuke to pop up with a less than thrilled look, grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her away. She had been scared she upset him since he walked off as soon as she was back at the house. However, later, he returned with a cinnamon roll for her. It was a moment of sweetness she didn't think she would ever get with her demon. But he was always full of surprises. Not to say he hadn't taken compensation for the nice act. Her cheeks suddenly bloomed red as she thought back to his reward.
Pale eyes opened again, dazed as her mind wandered, only to reminded of what she was trying to do before. The orb didn't show Kiba the baker… no. But it showed Sasuke in vivid detail. She would have swooned at the sight of his naked chest had a certain redhead not been cuddled up to his side. No. Instead, she was furious. The slight anger she had experienced earlier paled in comparison to the inferno in her blood that put hell to shame. She yanked roughly on her chains, an almost feral growl leaving her pink lips as she tried to reach the orb. As if it would teleport her straight to them. However, a stray thought hit her. What if he wanted this. Her body suddenly went lax. He had been with them before her. Maybe he had been sick of her and this a plan they had made together. Frowning, she looked up at the orb again. This time it showed Naruto. Her eyes softened slightly. She still thought of him subconsciously. Of course, she felt guilty for what she had done to him. He hadn't deserved it all. And in a way, she was the reason he was caught up in this.
Swallowing, she watched as he grinned, all bright and feral as he towered over the pinkette. She witnessed him hold down the petite women's hips, thrusting into her with all his might. Something they had never done. But her eyebrows furrowed as she watched. It didn't hurt. It didn't hurt to watch like Sasuke's had. But the more she watched, the more it dawned on her. Naruto looked happy. He was smiling. Suddenly, Sasuke flicked back into view. His nose turned up slightly as a deep snarl rested on his lips while the redhead straddled him, bouncing in his lap while he refused to open his eyes. A pang of pure hatred, sadness, and longing hit her abruptly. She gasped as she continued to watch Karin try to coax him into a kiss he refused. Those feelings weren't hers. There were distant and didn't fill her in a way her emotions did, rather it was like a memory of feelings. For some reason, she knew it was him. Their connection. She wondered if he could feel hers too. In her moment of thought, she watched as the redhead suddenly tensed on top of him crying out, and she could only envision it as herself.Pale lavender eyes narrowed as she growled once more, glaring at the orb as she witnessed Sasuke's eyes open. Pools of black tar filled with anger but dazed. At that moment she thought of who should be on top of Sasuke. Her Sasuke. Not Sakura, not Karin's. Hers. He was her mate, and whether he wanted this or not, she did not. And he belonged to her. Pale eye's narrowed dangerously bleeding into a deeper violet as she snarled at the orb.
However, it began to move, warping and contorting into odd shapes as the air around her grew hot while she watched the witch try and make her lover hard again. Only she could. Only she was allowed to touch him. Only she could bring him the pleasure of an angel. The pain began to course through her veins as she snarled and tried to lash out at the orb that refused to stop playing the hell that transpired in front of her. She didn't want to watch. She wanted to rip them apart. Closing her eyes, she hung her head as the pain continued to become worse, she could hear rattling, banging, things breaking, and thuds of fallen objects. It didn't make sense. She was alone in a cement box. What was this pain? A cry left her as she felt her head explode. Figuratively, but she could not find a better way to explain it. Hot, liquid began to trail down her face, and the scent of metallic followed quickly after. She was bleeding. And even with her eyes closed, somehow, she could still see that damn orb behind her eyelids. Pale hands raised to her eyes, the heat and pain too prominent to realise that her nails were much sharper and clawed into her skin as she tried to tear out her own eyes from showing her such a hell. Only for it to all stop.
A loud bang and the heat turned into a deep freeze. The hair on the back of her neck stood up, and she simply reacted without thought. Crouching down, one hand clawed into the ground while her other bend beside her, ready to strike at whatever came close. Her knees bent as she arched to see who made it all stop. The light wasn't from the orb anymore. In fact, it was gone. Instead, a door was open, and someone she hadn't planned on seeing in a very long time if ever again stood before her.
A smirk rested on the face of a silver-haired man. Violet eyes dancing in mirth and strangely, understanding.
"My, my. The demon's angel. I was wondering who was causing such a fucking racket. But judging by the room's whore, I could guess." His smirk unnerved her. Like he knew something she didn't. Obviously, he did. He was the devil. But something about her. She back up as he began stalking over to her. She became very aware of her shackles as he came closer, crouching in front of her. She hadn't realised just how big he was. He towered over her small frame, tall and muscled as he lifted his hand. She almost thought he was going to strike her, but instead, he broke off the links around her wrists, freeing her from the little hell that'd been created for her. She stared at him, unmoving. Afraid to make a wrong move less she upset him, and he imprison her back with the orb.
"So tell me, Kitten. How'd she piss off an angel so bad?" At his words, she was suddenly reminded why she wanted out of the room so bad. A snarl left her throat again. Her nose crinkling while her teeth bared. It felt odd to her. But it almost came naturally. Like a cornered kitten.
"How do I get back up?" She ignored his question. She needed to get up and claim her mate back as her own. The male in front of her only laughed. His baritone voice bounced off the walls around her, causing her to become skittish again. She needed to calm down. Angering her only way out was not a smart move.
"Alright, alright. You wanna get going. I'd wanna kill a motherfucker too if I was in your place but hold on. You might wanna take a look at yourself before you go chasing anyone. Or you actually might end up fucking them up more than you want to." The grin on his lips unsettled her greatly. Look at me? She looked around, the walls were cement, how was she meant to see herself. Looking back at him, he rolled his eyes.
"Not in here ya dumbass, come out." Moving away from the entrance, she revealed the red room behind him. Mirrors covering a whole wall while a big bed with satin sheets laid in the middle, boards nailed together with leather straps and chains littered the room as well, but she didn't dwell on what they were for too long. No doubt Sasuke would happily inform her later. However, the room was in shambles, broken vases, glass littered the floor, wood broken, and the bed snapped in half. Her eyes snapped to the mirrors on the side. Cracked. He stood beside them, crossed arms, leaning against one with a smug look on his face. Her eyebrows furrowed again. Why was he acting so strange? Not that she knew what he acted like normally. Surely this wasn't it. Her eyes turned to the mirror only to gasp. She was back in the tattered clothing that barely covered her, but that wasn't what shocked her anymore. No. It was the black horns that sprouted from her scalp, curling towards the back of her head. Her eyes were much darker while her wings were grey and tattered. Not the pure white, silk she was accustomed to. Blood trailed down her face, small marks around her eyes when she tried to deal with the pain. Her knees were bloodied, and she looked, ironically, like hell. Her hair was matted and bloody, tossed from Sasuke and her original activity along with her caged anger. A small smile touched her lips as she felt the collar around her neck, a simple silver 'S' still dangling from the appendage. She turned back to the other man in the room. His smirk never faltering.
"Now that you're done admiring yourself, I need you to bring some fuckwits back to hell for me. Those fuckers were supposed to be doing jobs, but your stupid fucking demon always makes them turn into whores gaga for his dick. I need them to learn I'm not going to be fucked around. Fuck on your own time, not mine." A frown marred his lips as he spoke to her, clearly talking about the two hell spawn currently fucking her mate. To which she was becoming incredibly impatient waiting to get back to. Her mind reeled. Did that mean he was going to send her up to retrieve them? She could go back to Sasuke that way. She could make them pay for touching what was hers. A smirk curled on the usually timid lips. She looked at him and curled her hands into fists.
"Only if I'm the one to punish them." God had once told her that he hated punishing those who went against him. That it felt wrong and he felt guilty for all of them. She didn't. They were wrong. She wasn't the perfect angel. She revelled in this feeling. For so long, she had felt like an outsider in heaven, watching as angels gossiped about how she was useless and a bad angel. Well, she was. She was a bad angel, but she was great at being Sasuke's. She was great at being this. Whatever, this was. He grinned. She liked this version of her. He saw himself. An outcast in their eyes but radiant in hell. Besides. Everyone came to hell. Heaven was strict, and it almost always turned angels to him.
"Alright, Kitten. I send you up there, and you bring them back to me. I'll let you dish out whatever filthy punishment comes into your little head." Her cheeks burned red as his comment; she had an idea of how she would punish them for touching her Sasuke, but she hadn't realised she was so transparent. Before she could defend herself, she was suddenly back on land. Normal land. Grass tickled her feet as she looked around her, she was on the path to the Lake. Her eyes narrowed. She had to remind Sasuke who he really belonged to.

So yeah. Almost finished. Sorry there was no smut in this short chapter, but I promise the next one has lots to make up for it. A crescendo finale, if you will. I've already finished half of it and plan to have it out by next week depending on how much overtime I have to do for work. So yay. Only took a few years. Woops.
