Tapping his foot, the Japanese-French cuisine chef let his eyebrows furrow at the sight of the smiles and laughs being presented in front of him. He was never one to get jealous over anything, but this sight irked him.

Shinomiya crossed his arms, ignoring the call of the other alumni. He had brought the miko over as his date to the Totsuki alumni gathering in the academy, but he did not think she would be grabbing the attention of the other single men.

How could someone so low in skill easily sway Kagome's attention? It took him months before he could convince her to go out on a date with him. Of course, he had to get rid of the narcissistic attitude around her.

The moment the other male adult gave Kagome his own card, the tick on Shinomiya's forehead appeared and pulsed. He ignored the talk of the others around as he began his path forward. Pushing a few out of his way, he set his glare on his targets.

Kagome released a light laugh as she saw the offered business card of the Totsuki alumni. Shinomiya was not the best talker at social gatherings, so she figured she would go and talk to others. What she did not expect was the flirting of other men. Did they not know about her coming with Shinomiya?

"Give me a call sometime," the other male spoke.

Giving a nervous chuckle, Kagome took a step back. "I'm sorry but-".

"I am afraid she cannot take that."

Both of them blinked at the sudden voice intruding their conversation. Looking behind the miko, they went wide eyed at the sight of an angry Shinomiya. Kagome blinked once more, composing herself to his sudden appearance. "S-Shinomiya-san?"

Shinomiya grabbed the card from the male's hand before it was ripped in half. "I don't know what gave you the confidence to speak to her knowing she already had a date."

"I didn't see anyone with her-".

"Then open your eyes, idiot," Shinomiya interrupted. "She came with me." He quickly grabbed the miko's wrist before he gave one last glare to the flirt. Turning away, he pulled Kagome away from the stares - much to her embarrassment.

"O-Oi! Shinomiya-san!" Kagome tried pulling herself free from his hold. The stares of everyone else made her face heat with embarrassment. In the months she had come to know the French cuisine chef, she never witnessed this behavior. "Shinomiya-san!" Receiving her freedom the minute they were out of sight, Kagome rubbed her wrist with a glare pointed towards him. "What is the matter with you?"

The pink haired chef raised a brow, seeing the miko had no feeling of guilt for what she had done. "What is wrong with me?" He scoffed. He took a step forward, backing Kagome up to a wall before he slammed his hands on either side of her head. "You think I am going to let someone in lower status than me take you away?"

"What are you talking about-?"

Kagome stopped mid-sentence in her question as she felt his nose touch hers the minute he inched closer.

"No other person is going to take away the highest delicacy I had a hard time gaining," he spoke huskily. "People might think you are only my sous chef, but you are mine and only mine."
