Pairing: Komamura Sajinx Kagome Higurashi

Eyes widened at the transformation she became a witness to. Never in her life did she think this would be possible. In all her years of working in the Soul Society she thought she had seen it all, but this was new and surprising.

Especially because she never thought Captain Komamura could become…this.

"Stop staring."

The heavy yet husky voice rung in her ears, grabbing her out of her observations. Looking up at the auburn eyes narrowed at hers, the miko gulped. She couldn't tell him what she was thinking…could she?

Komamura ran his fingers through his long silver hair knowing Ukitake's fourth seat was going to ask questions about his sudden transformation. He knew about the miko's abilities and story, but he was sure she was just surprised after many years of seeing him in his animal form that this human form was not possible.

"Is this your first time seeing someone transform into a human?" he questioned.

The miko slowly shook her head: "uh, iie," she whispered back. "I am just taken back by…".

"By?"

Kagome gulped nervously, unsure how to ask something that she wanted to get a closer look at. She was sure this was a habit now; she had done the same thing to Inuyasha. Taking a step closer, she bit her lower lip.

The action was not missed by Komamura. What could this girl possibly want? Sure he expected a bit of shock, but this girl was staring at him…or something. "What is it, Kagome? If I am scaring you just say so-".

"No, no, no," she shook her head, "it isn't that! I just want…".

"What?" He raised a silver brow.

The miko quickly bowed, "may I touch your ears?"

Komamura's eyes widened at the sudden request. Out of all things he expected it was not this. "My…ears?" He repeated with a small blush over his cheeks.

"They are just," she chuckled, "so cute."

He sighed; great someone called him cute.
