Anime: Shokugeki no Souma x Inuyasha

Pairing: Hayama Akira x Kagome Higurashi

"Kagome-san, can you pass me the All-Asian-Spice?"

Scanning the counter for the raw spice, Kagome's eyes brightened at the sight of the small jar. The miko grabbed the asked item into her hand before she made her way over to the silver haired chef.

"What are you even making?" The miko questioned with a raised brow watching as he mixed in the raw spice with a few crushed ones over a pan. The smell was rich like cinnamon, but sweet like vanilla. "Is this for the curry dish you have to make?"

He replied as he watched the spices roast over the pan. "I decided to experiment with All-Asian-Spice first and see where that takes me."

As the two continued to jot down notes and mix spices that could work together for the curry dishes, Jun could not help but stare at the duo. She had first accepted Kagome into the club after reviewing her knowledge on spices and herbs. It was a good talent to have which would make her studies rise with someone like Hayama and Kagome with her. But as time passed, she began to notice the subtle yet kind smile Hayama gave only for the miko.

Thinking it was only him wanting to be nice, she began to notice he was actually meaning his gestures. He waited for her after classes to walk her here and would walk her back to Polaris. She was a bookworm, but she was not oblivious to the connection and bond the two were making.

This is what Hayama needed; Hayama needed someone to love and share his cooking with. Placing her stack of books in front of them, she smiled as she saw their confused blinks.

"Shiomi-sensei, what is it?" Kagome questioned, seeing the glow in the professor's eyes.

Raising a brow, Hayama quickly noticed the smile on Jun's expression. She was definitely up to something.

"You two have been working really hard," Jun pointed out. "Maybe you two should take a break."

"Well," Kagome spoke, "I don't think Hayama-kun will want to. He has been giving me orders left and right to bring him spices and mixing them for him."

Hayama shook his head with a small laugh, "I guess we could take a break-".

"Great!" Jun exclaimed, clamping her hands together. "I have made dinner reservations for you two!"

"D-Dinner reservations?" Kagome took a step back as she was taken back by the news. "Shiomi-sensei, why would-".

"For us three?" Hayama cut in.

Shaking her head, Jun walked around the counter before she began to push the teens towards the exit. "Just you two."

"W-What about you?" Kagome questioned.

"No, no," Jun shook her head with a blush, "you two need some alone time."

"Huh?!" The miko exclaimed. "All we do is spend time together here!"

Hayama sighed as he grabbed the miko's wrist; Hayama was well aware of her oblivious trait. "Let's go, Kagome-san. My treat."
