The wedding was immediately postponed. Sally was picked up by Zander and Lamar as they had her sit on the pew. As the group surrounded her, Grace was working on a quick elixir, trying to keep her coherent. Rachel walked over as she looked over at Sally.
"What's going on?" asked Rachel.
"While you were about to continue with the wedding, I was actually on my way," said Sally, "Well, until Master Hades broke through and destroyed Magiland. All of the villages burned down, the Magiland Kingdom is on fire… everything that we have protected is in danger."
Cressla stood there in silence. She looked up, "If I can go back and reclaim my post, I will be able to hold on to whatever's left. If he destroys the Legendary Pokémon, we will not be able to use our magic!"
"Well… you might want to make it quick. We also learned he has acquired the Hoenn Primal Artifacts," said Sally.
Cressla turned around, "Why did the Underworld of Darkness want something from Hoenn to begin with?"
Cedric stepped forward, "Simple. There's an enemy in the Kalos Region who was looking for them as well and three people managed to receive them… only for Hades to take the power and use it for himself."
"Etna, Marianne and Camille are captured by Master Hades. We must find a way to save them."
"Talk about a twist of events," said Lamar.
Seb turned around as he looked at Cedric. Cedric nodded as he walked over toward him. Cedric put his hand on Seb's shoulder as he turned to him, respectfully, "We should head over tl Magiland."
"No way," said Rachel, "We should all go together."
The rangers turned around. Rachel was protesting this idea already. But, the rangers understood why. Compared to the surface world, her homeworld is basically burning to the ground. Cedric walked over and turned to Rachel, "I suggest you stay."
"Why?" asked Rachel.
"Yes, you and the others have more experience and battled well, you aren't a match for Master Hades. Seb, despite his limited experience, has powers that can channel with mine to stop him. It would be great to have you, but who will watch this planet?" asked Cedric.
"I am going whether you like it or not," said Rachel.
"Rachel, let him do what he needs to do," said Seb.
"If you want to go so bad…," said Cedric, "I challenge you to a match."
Rachel stood there silently as she looked at him. She looked at the ground and then at Cedric.
"Fine. I accept," said Rachel.

Chapter 49: The Final Battle

The rangers walked from where they were and magically arrived at their hideout. As Rachel stepped down the stairs, she headed over to the mini battlefield, which lay on the table. The battlefield was shaped like a chess board. She turned around as she looked at Cedric, who was walking behind her. As the two looked at each other, she shook his hand with a firm grip.
"So," said Lamar, observing, "I have a feeling that she is going to lose."
Seb turned around, "Well, yeah."
"You two are so optimistic right now," said Grace, turning to the two rangers.
"Well, at least Cedric isn't Incinizard anymore," said Seb.
Grace and Lamar silently nodded as the two turned to the battlefield. There, Rachel and Cedric turned around as they activated their morphing devices.
"Magical Source, Mystic Force!"
"Shadow Force, Mystic Force!"
A red and black aura surrounded both of them as they transformed into their ranger suits. Rachel and Cedric nodded as they pressed a few buttons on their morphers. A red and black aura surrounded them as they teleported into the battlefield. Landing on the battlefield tile, Rachel looked up as she turned to Cedric.
"I know you have been looking to challenge me," said Cedric, "But, in the form of Incinizard, correct?"
"At the time, yes. During that time, I wanted to do whatever I can to defeat you," she said, "Now that you are our ally, it motivates me… for fun this time."
"Ah," said Cedric, "Then, you do have what it takes. Show me what you have learned."
Rachel looked confused as Cedric laughed, "Come on… you have faced Metallico, Zeramses, Hades Gods… you have experience. Now, show me what you got."
Rachel's eyes narrowed, "If that is your wish. Mystic Staff!"
She took out her Mystic Staff, aiming at Cedric. Cedric withdrew his Shadow Saber. Cedric charged forward as he went to strike. Rachel blocked and dodged the attack. She flipped over as she turned around. As Cedric went to strike with his shield, she blocked with her staff.
"Jinga Magiro!"
A red aura surrounded his shield as it turned into a soccer ball. Grabbing the soccer ball, she bounced it in the air. Cedric went to release saber strikes. Rachel kicked the ball back and forth as she headed toward Cedric. She then kicked the ball with her foot, "Fireball Strike!"
As a fireball like baseball headed straight toward Cedric. Cedric sliced the fireball in half, revealing his shield. Cedric grabbed the shield and slammed it to the ground. A black and red shot out from the ground. Rachel dodged it as she jumped up with her Mystic Staff.
"Mystic Staff: Sword Mode!"
The battle turned into a sword fight. As the swords clashed, Cedric went to block with his shield and then he went to strike with his saber. Rachel flipped backwards as she cut across. Cedric was hit. Cedric turned around as he released another attack. Rachel flew up as flames charged through her body. As she went to strike, Cedric nodded as he looked at her.
"Dark Void!"
Immediately, upon attack, Rachel was caught in a void. Trapped in a void, Rachel screamed as explosions surrounded the attack. Rachel landed on the tiles. Flipping around, a red aura surrounded her as she unmorphed.
"WOW…," said Zander and Urara.
"And she never even used her legend power," said Grace.
"Darn…" Lamar said.
Rachel slowly got up as she looked at Cedric. Cedric laughed as he looked at her, "I guess I am walking away."
"Legendary Source, Mystic Force!"
Transforming into her legend mode, Cedric turned around as she spun the dial, "Inferno Overdrive!"
As a blast of flames struck across, Cedric grinned as a black aura surrounded him. He disappeared and went underneath the attack. The flames dispersed. Looking around, she was trying to find him. Rachel felt someone tap her on the shoulder. Turning around, Cedric grinned, "Hi… Faint Attack!"
SLASH!
Rachel yelled as she landed on the ground. Cedric spun his saber as he dashed toward her. Rachel did a side flip as she headed toward Cedric. Cedric punched her in the stomach, causing her to fly backwards. Cedric then released shadow energies from his saber. Cedric screamed as he landed on the ground. Smacking to the ground, Rachel stretched out her staff. Cedric screamed as he released a black aura of energy. His eyes began to glow bright red as his shield opened up, "Black Hole Eclipse!"
A black aura surrounded him as a black hole appeared. Rachel was instantly sucked in. As she turned around, looking at nothing but darkness. Cedric slashed her back and forth as a red aura surrounded her. Rachel screamed as she flew up, enlarging back into the normal. She screamed as she smacked on the table. The table split in half as she looked up. Cedric enlarged as he materialized out of the battlefield.
"Guess I'm staying," said Rachel.
"Yep…," said Cedric, "You have amazing potential. Those were excellent moves. But, soon enough, you will unleash your full potential."
"Full potential?" Rachel asked.
"Yes," said Cedric, "Seb… ready?"
Seb nodded as he walked over. Diana and Reshime nodded as they headed over with them. Diana turned around as she looked at the rangers, "Rangers, you are defending this planet. Do what you can… all of your experience as rangers you must apply now. Good luck!"
"Hold on," said Seb, taking out the Mystic Lamp. He brought it over to Grace. Rubbing the lamp, Percy arrived.
"Hello!" Percy shouted.
"Percy, please take care of Grace," said Seb.
Percy said nothing as he looked at Seb. Seb responded, nodding silently as Percy understood, "I will do my best. Please come back."
"I will try," said Seb, walking over to Grace. Grace looked up as she looked like she was staring into his soul. Seb nodded as he kissed her on the lips. As tears formed from her eyes, Seb wiped the tears. Grace understood as Seb walked away. Reshime turned around, "Reshiram… open the gate!"
Suddenly, a white aura surrounded her as a blue portal appeared from her necklace. Reshiram materialized. The creature just fit the library as its wings almost broke a few glasses on the table. As the four of them got on Reshiram, Reshiram screamed as they flew into the portal. The rangers watched as flames of Magiland were shown. The rangers watched as they turned to Sally and Cressla.
"I will prepare for Magiland too," said Cressla, "But, I need to give them some time."
"Agreed. If you went in there, you would be an easy target," said Sally.
"So… if you reclaim the throne, you can establish what's left of the kingdom," said Lamar.
"Correct. But, Master Hades knows my presence," she said, "If he is distracted, I can enter in without him sensing. This warrior is very strong and is sensitive."
The rangers said nothing. That is, until there was an earthquake beyond comparison. The rangers hit the deck as glass continued to break. Rumbling was so powerful that the planks on the floors began to break. As the rangers were hanging on tight, Woodmodore turned around as he saw the mirror that used fall off its hinges. The mirror shattered into pieces. Looking at it, he noticed Groudian digging through the ground.
"Rangers, this is no earthquake! Groudian is attacking! He's right outside!" Woodmodore shouted.
As the earthquake began to increase in rumbling, it then slowed down as Groudian broke out from the Earth's crust, burning Route 101 to a crisp. The rangers walked outside as they noticed the creature. Turning around, he laughed.
"With Master Hades in Magiland, Quazer down in the Pantheon, it's only a matter of time before Master Hades takes everything over!"
"Alright, if that's what you want," said Rachel, "I am not letting you destroy Magiland nor this planet!"
"YOU ARE GOING DOWN!" Groudian shouted.
"Galwit Mysto Golu Jingajin!"
Immediately, the rangers transformed into their suits. As they transformed into their suits, the rangers transformed into Ho-Oh and Entei. The back legs of Entei stretched and rotated where it met the floor. Entei's face lowered to become the chest. The Ho-Oh combined behind it. The face opened its mouth as a human head appeared. Golden rings surrounded Entei's front legs as they became arms. It's tail ignited in flames as it sharpened its claws. Inside, the rangers were in a similar cockpit to the Mystic Titan Megazord.
"Legend Fusion! Mystic Legend Megazord!"
"Let's go!"
Meanwhile in Magiland…
Reshiram arrived with the others on its back. As the rangers hopped down, they saw nothing but a red sky with fire and brimstone. The rangers turned to each other as they looked at Master Hades, sucking the souls of people. He laughed as explosions surrounded them.
"We must use our weapons!" Seb said, "Or better yet… our zords."
"Agreed," said Cedric, "He gets stronger with each soul he takes."
"I am going to get things ready for Cressla…," she said.
Diana nodded, "I sense the Hades Pantheon is open. I am going to head over there and face Quazer."
"Why?" Cedric asked.
"If I can defeat Quazer, then I can destroy the Pantheon," she said.
"Good thinking," said Seb, "Master Hades won't be able to return."
"Yep," said Diana.
"Alright… let's begin!" Cedric shouted.
As the four split up, Cedric and Seb went to dash toward the villages. As the villages were burnt with Crobatulas, the two rangers slaughtered them as they dashed through the fields. When they were finished, Master Hades landed on the ground.
"Do you miss me?" Master Hades asked.
Seb swung his Solar Saber and pointed at him, "You caused a lot of trouble."
"Yep… and now you are going to pay," Cedric said.
"Once I defeat you, I will take your souls… and use them for my doing."
Immediately, the three of them faced off toward each other…
Meanwhile…
Jirinx landed on the ground as Quazer started laughing, "Your days are over!"
Etna, Marianne and Camille stood behind the cage as Jirinx tried to carefully stand and fight. Quazer walked over and started to attack. Jirinx blocked them, going back and forth. As Quazer went for the final blow, a blustery blizzard appeared behind him. Turning around, Diana arrived with her Mystic Staff.
"Diana!" Marianne and Etna shouted.
"You will go no further," said Diana, "You will fall!"
"Your kingdom has fallen. The rangers will lose their magic…," said Quazer, "There's no way that you will be able to defeat us. Long live the Hades Pantheon!"
He withdrew his sword and started to attack. Diana stabbed her staff into the ground, creating a wall of thick ice. Quazer's saber was stuck in the ice, unable to get out. Diana turned around as she released her Mystic Morpher.
"Magical Source, Mystic Force!"
Transforming into her suit, the ice wall exploded as she transformed into her ranger self. Quazer yelled as he shrunk into a normal sized creature. He looked at her as Diana swung her staff.
"It's time that you learn your lesson," she said, "Shall we?"
Before things could be taken… another rumble appeared. Diana and Quazer looked up as Groudian collapsed on the ground in mega form. Landing on the ground caused a huge earthquake as the Mystic Legend Megazord appeared. Groudian yelled as he released a red drill from his hand, hitting the Mystic Legend Megazord. A golden glow surrounded them as the rangers fell to the ground.
"Rachel! Everyone!" Etna shouted.
"Rangers," said Diana.
The rangers were knocked out cold, unmorphed. Diana stood there with her staff as Groudian shrunk to normal size. The two looked at each other and then at Diana, "Guess we should finish you too."
"No way," a voice said.
Groudian turned around as he looked over. Grace stood up, badly damaged. As some of her clothes were dirty, she stared at the two of them, "You are going to have to do more than that."
"Well," said Quazer, withdrawing his saber, "You will be the first to go!"
He hopped over as he went to strike. Grace dodged the attack as she rolled to one side. Quazer turned around as he swung his saber. Grace dodged again as he struck the rock wall. Grace took out her Mystic Staff, "Charge Beam!"
Quazer quickly put his saber upward. As the yellow beam hit the saber. The saber then reflected back at Grace. Grace screamed as she landed on the ground. The other rangers looked up as they went to watch. Groudian snickered as Quazer went for the final blow…
Meanwhile…
"Malicious Moonslaught!"
"Sealing Sunraise Slash!"
As the two rangers flipped, morphed, they slashed Master Hades. Golden and purple lights surrounded them. Instantly, Master Hades opened his eyes and deflected them back with his hand. The two rangers flew, landing on the grassy fields. Seb rolled down the hill, landing in one of the houses with a loud crash. Upon impact, Seb crashed on a table, breaking it in pieces. Landing on the ground, he carefully got up from the table. Limping, he headed toward Master Hades as he struck his saber.
"That must have been a hard hit!" said Master Hades, "Allow me to burn you…"
Immediately, his hands struck out. A ruby aura surrounded his hands as the Omega Gauntlets arrived. Seb's eyes widened as Master Hades released a stream of flames. Seb performed a shoulder roll, getting out of the way as the flames engulfed the home. Seb turned around as he held the Solar Saber to his chest. A silver aura surrounded his saber as he raised it in the air. Stepping forward, he lowered it down the middle. A silver line appeared from the surface, hitting Master Hades. Master Hades laughed, noticing that the steel blade attack didn't make any scratches or dents on his body. Master Hades laughed as he stretched out his Omega Gauntlets. Red and orange flames formed as Seb was hit. Seb yelled as he landed on the ground. Landing on the ground, Cedric rushed forward as he looked at what happened. Before he could strike, Master Hades screamed as he raised the Delta Saber. He dashed quickly, piercing Seb's armor. Seb stopped as he felt the slash. Turning around, a golden aura surrounded him as his suit disappeared. Seb then looked up as Master Hades struck him with the final blow… from the Alpha Trident.
"SEB!" yelled Cedric.
Seb fell to his knees as he landed on the ground. His Solar Saber landed on the ground.
"Grace… I…," he said, closing his eyes.
His hand lay flat as his breathing stopped.
Meanwhile…
Grace jerked her head up as she felt something mentally grab her soul, "Seb…"
As Quazer's saber went to strike Grace, Grace went to take the full blow… that is, until a loud scream appeared in front of her. Opening her eyes, her face was beyond surprised. Percy screamed as he was taking the blade for Grace. As he was released, Percy landed on the ground in agony. Grace rushed over as she looked at him.
"Percy… no!" shouted Grace.
"It's okay… I did my job," said Percy, looking at her. Grace turned around as she reached for his paw. Percy looked up at her, "Grace… do me a favor. Avenge me, for Seb's sake and mine."
Grace looked at him as she turned around, "He's dead isn't he?"
Percy slowly nodded. Grace began to tear a bit as his body began to disappear into dust clouds. She looked up as she turned to Quazer. Grace withdrew her Mystic Staff, "You are going down Quazer…"
Quazer laughed as he raised his saber, "Let's go!"
As Quazer and Grace went at it, the staff and the blade continued to block. As she turned around, Grace went to strike. Quazer blocked it and released a green line of energy. Grace was hit as she landed on the ground. The other rangers nodded as they grouped together.
"You good?" asked Zander.
"Beyond good. Let's burn these two to a crisp," said Grace, "Master Hades killed Seb… he killed Percy. I will not stand here and watch this!"
"Let's do this," said Rachel, turning to the rangers, "Rangers, use all of your magic power!"
Quazer laughed as he looked at the rangers, "Try me…"
"Legendary Source, Mystic Force!"
Suiting up, the rangers struck out their Legend Staff weapons. Immediately, an aura surrounded their weapons as they placed them together.
"Code 2!"
Z-Power energies engulfed each staff. Flames, lightning bolts, waves of water, fairy dust and leaves surrounded them as they broke apart.
"Legend Overdrive!"
Quazer was slashed multiple times by the rangers. As they landed on the ground, Groudian used his spear and knocked all five of them down. As the rangers smacked on the ground, Quazer turned around as he went to strike. Before Rachel could turn around, he went to target her. However, among what happened, the rangers watched as Diana fell to the ground. A white aura surrounded her as she looked at the rangers.
"It's up to the five of you…," said Diana. A red aura surrounded her as she disappeared. The rangers stood their in shock. Lamar turned around as Quazer and Groudian laughed.
"DIANA!" shouted the rangers.
"Not again!" shouted Lamar.
"Ha… so, Magicians of the Five Elements… or Poké Rangers Mystic Force. Give up. Reshime, Sally, Cressla, Cedric, Seb and Diana… your allies are falling apart," said Quazer, "Why don't you give up while you can?"
Suddenly, a red line appeared as the walls began to erupt. Cedric was flown back as the rangers fell with him. Master Hades, Quazer and Groudian took this opportunity as Master Hades created another wormhole with his saber. A red and black aura surrounded them as the rangers landed in Petalburg City. Groudian turned around as he looked at where he was. The three villains laughed as the rangers landed on the ground.
"You are out of options," said Groudian.
"Rachel!"
The rangers turned around as Sally arrived with her weapon, "It seems you need a hand."
"That and more," said Rachel.
Groudian and Quazer stepped forward. Cedric turned to the others, "I'll avenge his death. Take the two terrors. Master Hades is mine."
"Right," said the rangers.
FINAL BATTLE
Master Hades vs. Cedric
Grace, Sally, Urara vs. Quazer
Lamar, Zander, Rachel vs. Groudian
BEGIN!
Groudian swung his weapon across. Rachel, Zander and Lamar dodged it as Groudian went on a rampage. Lamar and Zander jumped over, knocking Groudian down. Groudian stumbled as Rachel flew across with her saber. Her saber swung across, slicing and dicing the creature. Groudian pushed her out of the way. Groudian then used his gold gauntlets. Opening them up, they turned into mini gun barrels. Shooting them down, bullets rang out as the rangers landed on the ground.
"Now for some true power," he said, laughing as he marched forward. Lamar turned around as he and Zander turned the dials on the Legend Staff.
"Golu Rokubus!"
"Mysto Mysto Gojika!"
Immediately, Lamar pulled out his Suicune Ocean Launcher while Zander put on his rock armor. Groudian released pellets of flames. Zander blocked the attack with his armor as Lamar pulled the safety bolt off. He aimed at Groudian, "Torpedo Pulse!"
Shooting two pulses, Groudian was hit severely as he started stumbling to the ground. Groudian screamed as he was hit. He then turned around as he released a stream of flames. The two of them landed on the ground as Rachel headed over toward them. She then turned the dial as a blue aura surrounded her Legend Staff.
"Blue Flare!"
A blast of blue flames struck out as Groudian was engulfed in flames.
Sally, Urara and Grace tackled Quazer. Quazer pushed them away as he brought out his emerald saber weapon. Raising the saber, he thrust forward as a dragon like tornado came across, wiping the three of them down. Grace looked up as she turned to Sally. Sally nodded as she took out her staff.
"Moongeist Beam!"
A pink aura surrounded her weapon, charging. Meanwhile, the others turned the number 1 dial on the Legend Staff.
"Code 1: Gigavolt Havoc!"
"Code 1: Supersonic Skystrike!"
The three beams swung together as they combined into one beam. As the beam was heading toward Quazer, Quazer raised his blade and struck the beam in two. The beams exploded on either side.
"Hyper Blast!"
Channeling his hands, a golden ball was formed. His eyes lit up as beams of emerald surrounded his eyes. He took his energy and forced it out. A golden ball was thrown at the rangers. The rangers screamed as explosions surrounded them, causing them to land on the ground. Urara carefully crawled up as she raised her Legend Staff. Urara spun around as she stretched out her Legend Staff. She struck across with her staff, heading straight for Quazer. Quazer knocked her down with his saber. Grace dashed over as she reached for her Legend Staff, which transformed into an assault rifle. Lightning bolts rang out as Quazer dodged the bolts. Quazer laughed as he stretched out his saber. A green tornado headed straight toward Grace. Grace screamed as she landed on the ground. As Quazer went to engulf them in flames, Urara stood in the middle.
"Gi Golu Majuna!"
Fairies came out of her staff, eating all of the flames as it dissipated. Quazer stood there as the rangers stood with their weapons.
"Let's continue!"
Cedric and Master Hades continued the battle. As Master Hades struck his saber across, Cedric dodged the attack and sliced him in the stomach. Turning around, Master Hades screamed as he looked at the rangers. Quazer and Groudian were stumbling from the attack. He turned around as he grinned. His fists clenched as Cedric channeled his energy. A black and red aura surrounded his saber as he headed straight across. Cedric roared as he created a special attack.
"Shadow Sneak!"
As he went to go behind him, a dark aura surrounded him as he disappeared. Master Hades grinned as he stomped forward. Swinging his saber to the ground, red claws emerged as Cedric was caught from the ground. Cedric groaned as his saber dropped. The other rangers turned around as they watched what was going on.
"Now it's your turn!" he said, "Hades Hellfang Slash!"
Five red lines came across from his saber as Cedric screamed upon impact. Cedric's suit began to disappear as he landed on the ground. He was unresponsive.
"CEDRIC!" shouted the rangers.
"Nothing you can do can stop me…," said Master Hades, looking at them, "Groudian, Quazer!"
The rangers turned to each other as Groudian and Quazer were heading toward them. Quazer released a green aura from his saber. Groudian released a red aura from his gauntlets. When they combined, a white beam shot out as the rangers landed on the ground. Their Legend Forms disappeared as they landed on the ground. Sally turned around as she demorphed.
"Eh… ouch," said Sally.
"GUYS!"
Sally looked up as Reshime dashed over, "Why are you here?"
"Well, with everything going on… Seb is dead… Cedric….. Oh no," said Reshime. She looked at his dead body and then turned to the two beasts.
"Aw, I killed your fiancé?" asked Master Hades, "Too bad."
Reshime stood there angrily as she turned to the rangers, "Rangers… I have secured what's left of the kingdom. Cressla can return when needed."
"Wait… you did what?" asked Master Hades.
Reshime grinned as she turned to her, "For someone who is the King of Darkness, you are oblivious."
"Why you…," said Master Hades.
Reshime turned around as she looked at the five rangers. She placed a golden aura from her hand onto the five rangers. A golden aura surrounded the five.
"Do this and maximize your power!"
Rachel and the others turned to each other as they used their Mystic Morphers, pressing a sequence of buttons.
"Mysto Neramax Gojika Jingajin!"
The rangers jumped up from the ground as they began to glow in their ranger colors. Taking out their staffs, they were engulfed in their own element. Groudian screamed as he was struck by leaves, then a puff of wind. It was then followed by a blast of water. Groudian screamed as he was then electrocuted by Grace. Turning around, Rachel went through, burning Groudian. As the rangers landed on the ground, Groudian dissipated into dust. Quazer stood there in shock as the rangers turned to him.
The rangers began to charge as they began to glow, "Your next, Quazer!"
Quazer went to fight. Master Hades grinned as his claw extended all the way to his back. Quazer screamed as green energies sucked through to Master Hades. Quazer yelled as his whole body disappeared. The rangers watched as Master Hades engulfed in green armor with his body. His eyes were glowing gold as he had green dragon armor with the same physiology.
"No way…," said Rachel.
"He combined with Quazer," said Lamar.
"This is horrible," said Zander.
"What are we going to do?" asked Urara.
"Fight… but how?" asked Grace.
"This day just keeps getting better," said Reshime.
"... Well, this is nice," said Sally.
Master Hades opened his mouth. Immediately, a purple aura surrounded his body as he took out his saber. His saber struck the ground. A crack in the Earth occurred as the rangers screamed. Sally and Reshime were pushed aside as the rangers fell to the ground.
"RANGERS!" shouted Sally.
"NO!" shouted Reshime.
"Ha ha ha ha ha," said Master Hades, "They will not escape my dimension. So long, Poké Rangers…"
As he jumped down to the ground, Seb's body appeared on the ground, laying next to Cedric. The crack has sealed as laughter occurred. The sky began to glow dark as explosions surrounded the city.
