A small gasp escaped the female's lips as she saw the candle lit dinner in front of her. The dim light from the flames gave her a soothing environment as she saw a few flower petals scattered over the round table that had been placed in the middle of the apartment.

Taking a step closer, the miko slowly placed her bag and coat over the arm rest of the couch before making her way to take a closer look at the surprise dinner. Her ears immediately caught the sound of light foot steps behind her. Sensing the familiar aura, Kagome's lips slowly curved upwards as she felt a pair of strong arms circling around her waist and bringing her back to a broad chest.

[Did you make this?]. She spoke with her hands.

The tightened hold of his arms gave her the reply. Kagome chuckled as she tilted her head back and saw the calm expression on the Twilight's face. "Arigatou, Nicolas-san."

He frowned before bringing his hands to her attention. [I told you to stop calling me that.]

"Eh?" She blinked as his hold on her was released. "No need to give me a frown." Raising a brow with a smirk, she watched as he took the chair out for him. "Did you make this yourself?"

Nicolas smiled and was prepared to reply only to hear the door of their apartment open.

"Man, I did not think I would get held back with all those cops today. Nicolas! You won't believe what is happening out there! Some Twilights were murdered yesterday night-".

Worick blinked as his words dropped at the sight before him. He thought it had been his bad eyesight, but no…the room was dark and dimly lit with the candles standing on the small round table. Looking over at the duo, he gave out another blink. "Did I interrupt something?"

[Yeah, you did], Nicolas grumbled. [Now shoo!]

"Wow!" Worick exclaimed as he made his way over to the table. Looking at the dishes that had been prepared he gave Kagome a nudge with his elbow. "Well aren't you lucky. Nicolas rarely cooks around here. Kagome, you are definitely one lucky woman!"

"I have to agree," she chuckled softly.

Nicolas's eye brow twitched.

Worick rested his elbow over the miko's shoulder: "he didn't just make dinner, Kagome. He made you a romantic dinner! How wonderful!"

The Twilight's grasped the wood from the chair he held.

"Well this definitely is a first." Kagome nodded as she and Worick came to look at the dishes Nicolas prepared. "I am one lucky girl, huh?"

"You sure are!" Worick nodded with a smirk. Before he could place his arm over the miko's shoulders, he blinked as she was taken away into another pair of strong arms. "Eh?" he blinked, looking ahead to see Nicolas's glare.

"Get out…Worick," Nicolas grumbled once more. "Kagome is mine."

Raising his hands defensively, Worick released a nervous chuckle. "Yeah, yeah," he nodded as he took small steps backwards. Giving the miko a wink, he grabbed his coat before heading down stairs. "Have fun you two."
