Pairing: Kouha Renx Kagome Higurashi

Resting his chin over his palm, the young Kou prince's eyebrows furrowed as he saw the miko talking to none other than his older brother, Kouen Ren. He never felt ill feelings or envy towards the first prince. In fact, he was honored to be his brother.

But there was just one thing that irked him. The very thing that just made his eyebrow twitch.

Kagome, the miko he had found in his personal gardens, talking to Kouen. It was not only that man that he had a problem with, but anyone that go close to the miko made his blood boil. He was the one that found her after all. He was the one that nursed her back to health and transformed her back to the beauty she was.

"Kagome."

The miko turned her head to the side as she heard the soft call of her name. Noticing the mild glare on the young prince, Kagome sent him a smile. "Sumimazen, Kouen-sama."

"It's alright, Kagome-san. You may go."

Watching his brother take his leave, Kouha huffed before leaning away from the bridge located in his private garden. If anyone looked for the miko, it was for military and healing purposes, but Kouen had been coming around more than usual.

"You sure had a long talk with my nii-sama, Kagome," Kouha spoke.

"He just wanted to know if I could help him when Kou went against Magnostadt. Of course I don't agree with everything about the war, but I do believe the director of Magnostadt are up to something bad-"

Kagome's words stopped as she felt Kouha's hand grasp her wrist. "K-Kouha-sama?"

He was not that easy to jealous, but when the miko had saved his life when he was on his way to Magnostadt. Everything about her had captivated him and he was not about to let her go. He would give her anything; comfort, food, jewels, clothes, and even someone to talk to she could have.

"You haven't rested since we came back from Magnostadt."

"I'm okay, Kouha-sama," she chuckled nervously.

"No. I will have my servants prepare you a bath." He would protect the miko that the Kamis had graced him with. She would remain by his side.
