I'm not really sure if this is the right time to send in a request since I'm living in a diff. time zone but since you made a post I'm guessing the ask box is now open xD I'm really curious about what would happen to Hayama Akira from Food Wars if he were to loose his sense of smell. Like maybe he could get a cold or something then he would feel off balance coz he cant smell stuff right but Kagome would be there to take care of him :))

Anime: Shokugeki no Souma x Inuyasha

Pairing: Hayama Akira x Kagome Higurashi

"Hmm, is this the right one?"

"What are you doing?"

Looking up from the small jars of ground spices, Kagome blinked as she saw none other than Hayama leaning on the door frame as a blanket wrapped around him. A small gasp escaped the miko's lips before she placed one of the jars down on the counter and made her way to the silver haired chef.

"Hayama-kun, you aren't supposed to be up. You are going to make your cold worse!" She crossed her arms as she took a step in front of the sick chef to stop him from going inside the research room.

Hayama sighed, angered over the fact his cold had come at the worst time. He had a lot of spices to arrange for Jun and not to mention the Autumn Election was nearing. How could he prepare when he was in this state?

Hearing a snuffle, Kagome let out a small chuckle. It was a rare sight indeed. The tip of Hayama's nose tinted pink along with the blanket hugging his shoulders made her squeal inside.

"Hayama-kun, you can't even use your nose properly due to your cold." Kagome shook her head knowing the chef wanted to get to work as soon as possible. "Don't worry, I got everything under control. Shiomi-sensei trusts me; of course I don't have a nose as great as yours, but I am reliable."

"Says the one that mixed the cajun and paprika spices. Those are the basics, Kagome."

"Oi! I am trying!" She huffed. "Now," fixing the blanket around him, she could not help but snicker at the blush that had over taken his cheeks, "go rest. I am making the curry spices."

"Huh?" He blinked, looking up to see the mess she had made on the counter. His eyes immediately were drawn to the ginger being grated and mixed with other spices. "Is that…ginger?"

"Uh, hai," she nodded, looking over her shoulder, "the curry spice you taught me last week, remember? I am trying to remake it-"

"Kagome…it was turmeric, not ginger." Hayama sighed. If his nose had been working properly, he probably would be able to scent out her other mistakes. She was knowledgeable in the herb department, but spices were a bit trickier. With another exhale, Hayama ruffled the miko's hair before giving her a small smile. "Arigatou."

He could not stay mad at her for her mistakes; if it was not for her, he would have never finished his work on time. He owed her much more.
