Maginx Chapter 7: Visit to Domino, Learning of the curse

Harry and Musa returned to their normal forms as soon they arrived back at Potter Manor. Settling down in the living room with some snacks and hot chocolate, Harry flicked his wand at the wireless sitting in the corner, and country music floated through the room. The music fairy quirked an eyebrow at the choice, "My relaxation music," Harry replied. She nodded, before stretching out on the couch that she was sitting on and dozing off. Harry was tempted to try and transfigure her clothes into something more modest, but having never gotten the hang of transfiguring clothes, decided against it. So instead he grabbed a light blanket from a nearby closet and covered her with it before settled into a chair by the fireplace and went to sleep himself.

Back at Shell Cottage, Flora had arrived with the aid of her Zoomix wings. Mrs. Weasley was the first to notice her. But before she could say anything, Flora spoke, "They're fine, they went to Godric's Hollow before heading back to Gardenia."

Ginny, who had been listening from the doorway of Fleur and Bill's bedroom, bowed her head, "Where his childhood ended." she whispered. The Specialists, who had arrived while Flora had been gone, looked confused, while all the others became quiet. Timmy spoke after a few minutes;" What do you mean by that, Ginny?"

To everyone's surprise, Mrs. Delacour was the one who answered, "It's the place where Harry's parents sacrificed themselves for him; he was to only one who survived the attack by one of the evilest men to ever walk the Earth."

Ginny glanced at the remaining Winx, "You didn't tell them?"

The girls shook their heads, but Bloom was the one who spoke, "It's Harry's story to tell, not ours."

Ginny nodded, seeing the wisdom of it, before turning to the boys, and telling them the story of that Halloween night. Afterwards she turned to Riven, "I trust Harry completely, there is only one woman he is in love with, and that woman is me." He nodded, realizing that she meant that Harry was absolutely faithful to her. Even though he was alone with Musa, there wasn't a reason to worry.

Fleur had been listening from her bed, as she was still sore from giving birth. She remembered all too well how she had treated Harry when they first met. Little boy, she had been so naive; not too long after the final battle, Harry had told her about his school years. She couldn't have gotten through all of that and survived, how he did it, she didn't know. The two had maintained a correspondence over the past year after the war had ended. He was the little brother that she never had, therefore she was glad that he was safe, even though she knew he could defend himself just fine.

Fleur was pulled from her musings when Bloom walked into the room and sat in the chair that had been placed beside the bed. "How are you feeling?"

"Sore, but that is no surprise, I wouldn't change anything though."

Bloom nodded, "May I ask you something?"

Fleur nodded, "Of course."

"After everything he's gone through, how has Harry kept his pure heart and kind soul?"

Fleur sighed, "I am sure a lot of it can be attributed to Ginny, she is his rock and foundation; there is a side of him that only she knows. They completely trust and are totally devoted to each other. He has Ron, Hermionie, the rest of the Weasleys, myself and my family, of course. But Harry and Ginny have a connection that he just doesn't have to others."

At Bloom's questioning look, Ginny who had been leaning against the wall just inside the bedroom and listening to the conversation spoke up, "Harry had a piece of Voldemort's soul inside him for almost 16 years, and I was possessed by a memory of him. You don't come into contact with such darkness and not change, I am the only one who knows what it is like. It is a connection that no one else has. Over time our friendship grew and turned to love, and here we are now."

Bloom shivered, remembering that time she had controlled and fought the rest of the Winx. "I've been possessed myself; it is no fun."

"Hey Bloom, do you know what Harry and Musa have connected over?"

"I believe I know, but it is for Musa to tell if she chooses."

Ginny nodded before turning to her fellow redhead, "What now?"

"Let's head back to the manor and get something to eat. We aren't needed here."

As Ginny and the Winx got ready to leave, Fleur spoke up, "Thank you for your aid girls, as friends of Harry and Ginny, you and your boyfriends are welcome here at Shell Cottage anytime."

When the Winx and Specialists arrived back at Potter Manor they found Harry and Musa, both sound asleep. Ginny simply grabbed a blanket, and snuggled into Harry's side, before covering the two of them up, and going to sleep herself. The rest went out and got some food, including Musa, who had awoken when Ginny and the rest returned; forget to bring some dinner for Harry, Ginny, before returning and heading to bed.

Two days later, an envelope arrived for Bloom, sealed with a symbol that neither Harry nor Ginny were familiar with. Bloom however recognized it right away. Opening the envelope, she found a letter inside. After reading it, she turned to Harry and Ginny. "Well it looks like my Mom and Dad want to meet you."

The magical fairy couple looked at Bloom confused, "But we have already met your parents."

"You are about to meet my birth parents." She explained that dark forces had attacked her birth planet of Domino, and she and the Winx had only recently managed to restore the planet, and her birth parents. "Anyway, my birth parents, King Oritel and Queen Marion want to meet you both."

Harry nodded, "Well, no time like the present." One believix transformation and teleportation later, the Winx, Harry and Ginny were standing before the gates of a large castle. The guards who stood on either side of the gate bowed to Bloom, who greeted them, before informing the guards that the King and Queen were expecting them. They nodded before opening the gate and allowing the group to enter the grounds. Soon after Harry and Ginny were kneeling before the King and Queen of Domino, as Bloom introduced them, "Mother Father, may I present Harry Potter and his girlfriend Ginny Weasley, two people of Earth who have been a great help to us."

The two rulers smiled before King Oritel spoke, "Rise Harry and Ginny, Welcome to Domino."

The two stood before harry spoke, "Greetings Your Majesties. It is an honor to be here."

Queen Marion nodded to the couple, "And it is a pleasure to have you here. We thank you for aiding our daughter and her friends."

Ginny smiled, "The honor is ours. Bloom is a wonderful friend and it is a pleasure to know her."

Queen Marion continued, "Can you both stay for dinner? We would like to get to know you both."

Harry and Ginny nodded, "We would love too."

After the two were dismissed, they found the library, where they spent a few hours studying about the magical realm. An hour into their studying, Ginny gasped, Harry quickly came over and stood behind her, so he should read the book that Ginny had found. The book detailed various fairy forms, the section Ginny was reading was dedicated to a form called Sirenix, an ancient power born of the oceans, What was startling about Sirenix was the fact that it had last been accessed by Daphne, Princess of Domino, the two quickly realized that she was Bloom's sister. She had fought against a group of witches called the Ancestral witches and when she tried to use Sirenix to protect her home, they had cursed Sirenix. The power turned against Daphne, and she had been forced to live as a spirit ever since.

Ginny turned to Harry, "We have to break this curse."

"I agree, Bloom's family is incomplete, we will restore it."

At dinner that night neither Harr nor Ginny mentioned what they had found, nor what they were planning on doing, not wanting to raise false hopes. It was better to surprise Bloom and her parents with a restored Daphne then fail and be unable to deliver on their promise.

As the days passed, harry and Ginny threw themselves into the riddle of Sirenix. They soon learned that Sirenix had been cursed by a group of witches called the ancestral witches. Finally, the 2 discovered where the source of Sirenix was located, Lake Roccalunce, which was located in the middle of the Magic Dimnesion. The two were so focused on their work that neither noticed Daphne's spirit until she spoke.

"Please don't do this, it is too risky."

The couple shook their heads, "It doesn't matter, nothing can bring my family back, but we can restore you, and we are going to."

With that, the two left, and headed to Alfia to do more research in the library there, not knowing that the rest of the Winx had heard everything.

A/N: Yeah… I know how late this is, but this chapter went through about 10 drafts before I settled on this. I didn't want to post a partly done chapter, I just wasn't happy with what I had before. I also pretty much spent all my time sleeping or working, which severely limited my writing time. But it's done, and I hope you all enjoy!

I also have some other fics in various stages of writing, so I'm not sure when the next chapter is going to be, but I have no plans on abandoning any of my stories!
