[X] Get back in the building and hide. If Yang and Melanie held Mercury down, then when Em's Semblance stopped working, they might be able to keep him down as well.
As the cloud of smoke drifted out of Blake's burn wounds, Yang took a moment to consider the implications of Blake being here, when she was last fighting Winter.
And not just that Winter could be hurt. Someone Yang knew, hurt. No, Winter the person was the less relevant factor here. Winter's job was the relevant part of this equation.
Winter was a Hunter. A Specialist, even. Atlas had high standards on who they called a Specialist, and Yang had seen some of Winter's abilities, months and months ago. Winter could probably call up a few summons and then go make a cup of tea while letting Yang get mauled to death if she had wanted to, and even if the demonstrations of her Semblance weren't impressive enough, Yang didn't need to guess at the power imbalance.
She fought the mercenary leader, and spent several days in a medical bay. Winter fought the same mercenary leader, and didn't have a scratch on her the next time anyone saw her, with his corpse. There wasn't any ambiguity there, Winter was a lot better than Yang in a fight.
And here Blake was. Casually strolling into the Schnee manor after combating Winter. Either victorious, or somehow slippery enough that Winter had lost track of her, which wasn't likely when you considered her Semblance. And still meant that Blake had been able to hold her own, for at least a while.
So with that in mind, how powerful was Blake?
Too powerful for Yang to deal with in her peak, earlier today. Likely too powerful for a borderline cripple and Melanie to deal with while Em tried to keep Mercury under hold.
"Melanie." Yang said softly, trying to keep herself quiet. "We need to go back in."
"With Mercury? Melanie replied. "I enjoy not dying-"
"Then get back in." Yang snarled back, a bit louder than she intended. "That girl over there made it clear a few hours ago that she's going to kill anyone involved with the Intoners, and the last time I saw her, she was fighting an Atlesian Specialist in a burning building."
Melanie seemed to get the implications quickly enough, if her rapidly paling complexion was anything to go by, and she quickly pushed herself back into the room.
Em's face took a surprised look to it, but she kept her eyes closed and her mouth shut as Yang crawled back up the window. Melanie grabbed Yang's shirt again and dragged her through the window, back into the room with Mercury Black frozen in the middle.
"I don't suppose you have a plan?" Melanie muttered, looking back through the window to see if Blake had reacted in a way that would imply that they have been noticed.
"Get to Mercury." Yang replied. "Hold him down. If we get a good enough hold on him before Em has to let him go to hide herself, we can pin him down."
"And then he just draws attention to the room by firing those boots of his." Melanie pointed out. "Genius plan."
"That only applies if he's still wearing those boots." Yang pointed out, as she dragged herself towards Mercury. "Hurry up and pin him to the floor, I'll get those off of his legs."
Melanie didn't respond, but after a moment, approached Mercury as well. Yang reached out with her better hand, grabbed Mercury's foot, and pulled it upwards. At that point, anyone who would be fighting would be able to recover from that before they fell properly, but with Mercury apparently paralysed or however Em's Semblance worked, there wasn't anything he could do to stop himself from losing his balance.
Melanie sprung into action the moment Mercury started to fall, grabbing his arm and bending it behind his back, in a hold that would be rather painful, as she walked past Yang to the other side of the kick fighter.
Yang's hand reached up Mercury's boot, reaching the top of it, and pried her finger into the shoe. Ripping it down, Yang pulled it away, trying to disarm Mercury.
His boot jerked back suddenly, as a Dust round tore through the air and slammed into Yang's shoulder. Yang cried out, as she felt her shoulder snap back, and pain shot through her arm as she slammed into the ground again. Growling in place, she tried to crawl forward, but her upper arm spiked with pain again as she failed to move it.
Of course, why would any plan she came up with, giving herself a role, work on any level?
The sudden momentum from the firing boot-gun threw Mercury forward, and as unprepared as she was for his movement, Melanie was pulled along with him. Her grip on his arm loosened, and he wretched himself free, as they both fell to the ground. The grey haired boy reacted first, putting out a hand and bouncing off of it to get back to his feet, even as Melanie stumbled to try and do the same.
Yang heard a commotion from behind her, and looked back a moment to see Em vault through the window and rush towards Mercury. She looked down to her belt, as she pulled one of her guns out of her belt, but as she looked up, Mercury kicked her in the face and brought her to the ground.
Em didn't move, once she hit the ground, and Mercury turned away from her as he again approached Melanie.
"I wasn't finished with you." He said darkly, he footsteps echoing through the room. "It's so nice of you to come back, though. I was worried I'd have to hunt you down to get another shot at this."
Melanie kicked her heel upwards, slicing at Mercury, who spun around as he raised his own leg to bat Melanie's aside. She twirled through the air to land on her feet as Mercury fired his gun again, hitting Melanie in the stomach. She curled forward as she was forced back, slamming into the wall even as she clutched at her pained torso, and Mercury prowled forward like a tiger approaching its corner prey.
From the corner of her eye, Yang saw a flash of red light, even as she heard the detonation. An explosive sound ripped through the air, with a faint crackle of energy encompassing it, and Mercury looks away for a second to look towards the window.
"Already?" He asked. "I-"
Whatever he was going to say was interrupted, as Melanie took advantage of his distracted. She kicked forward, her bladed heel stabbing into Mercury's ribs, slicing into his Aura and forcing him to jump back after just a second at threat. His hand caught Melanie's leg as he fell back, and from there, he threw her into the air, before slamming her into the ground.
"You know." Mercury noted, as he put his foot on Melanie's head and fired into her skull. "If you were anyone else, I'd have to go now. We're nearly out of time, and we just got the signal. But you?"
Melanie twisted her body, her legs bending up to take another stab at Mercury, and the grey-haired teen ducks out of the way of her kick. He fires his boot again, shooting into her thigh, and as her legs collapsed, he stepped forward again. He knelt down, left knee on her stomach, hand holding down her head, and his right leg propped up so that his boot rested on her kneecap.
"I want to give you back just a fraction of what you caused me."
He boot fired again, as his foot drove down. Melanie cried out, as she lashed her hand to the side to grab at Mercury and try to pull him off balance. He fired again, and the distraction caused her hand to falter. He fired again, and Melanie screamed.
Her Aura shattered, and when Mercury fired again, bone shattered. His foot pressed down harder, fracturing the wound more and more, even as Melanie's scream picked up in tempo. Yang desperately pushed herself towards him, with her one good leg and functional shoulder, but was too slow to stop it.
After a few more shots, Mercury reached across to Melanie's sharpened heels. Slipping it off of her foot, he brought it to his own boot, and lined it up with Melanie's knee.
Then, in a single fluid motion, he cleaved downwards. Melanie screamed, and blood started seeping into the floor.
Mercury raised the heel, then threw it away, giving Yang an excellent view of the detached leg simple sitting by the bloody stump at his feet.
"Dad always said to never leave things half done." He mused, as he put his boot on Melanie's other leg. Yang's eyes went wide, and she pushed forward even more, shifting her bad leg in the process and feeling the blood flow into the bandage around it even faster.
"On the other hand." Mercury continued. "Fuck my dad."
He stood, and walked away from Melanie, back towards the window. Melanie's rapid, pained breaths echoed through the room, as he slipped through the window again.
"Oh, and by the way?" He asked, as he looked back at Yang, Em and Melanie. "Green here should be able to move still, once she stops playing dead. Maybe get her to give you a good look at what comes next."
And with that, he slipped out of the window, walking off towards the direction Blake was in.
"...Fuck." Yang muttered, as she crawled towards Melanie. "You alright?"
Melanie didn't react to that, and all of a sudden, Em surged forward to Melanie's side.
"Shit." She muttered, as she ripped off her jacket and started wrapping it around Melanie's leg. "Fuck. I didn't think... Fuck."
"F..." Melanie stuttered out, as the blood drained out of her face. "F-Five... Help..."
...Was that all Melanie could think of, after losing a leg? About Five?
No, fuck it, let her think about whatever the fuck she wanted to think about right now, she lost a leg, let her think about the psychotic addictive bitch all she wants, that's her prerogative.
Em tied the jacket around Melanie's stump, and threw her around a shoulder to start carrying her off.
"What were you doing there?" Yang asked, as Em rested Melanie by the window.
"...I didn't think he'd do that." Em replied. "I thought he'd beat you up a bit, and after the bang I thought he seemed distracted, but..."
She looked down, eyes unfocused, and Yang took a moment to consider that Em didn't seem to be used to combat situations. She didn't know what was going on, was she? She came here to help Yang out as a nice person, she fucked up, Melanie lost a leg. She must be feeling like enough shit right now, without-
The sound of clashing steel echoed through the air, and Yang tried to turn to start crawling back towards that. She had a broken hand, a dislocated shoulder or something, and a leg with a hole through it. She could run on it, if she can get to her feet, but she'd fuck up her own leg in the process.
"Let me." Em said, distantly as she wrapped her hands around Yang's mid-torso, while carrying her forward.
"What's going on out there?" Yang asked, as the echoing steel was greeted by crackling energy.
"...You should see for yourself." Em said, as she let go of Yang. Yang rested her hands on the window as her legs rested on the ground.
The smoke bellowing in the yard made it hard to see anything beyond the red energy cackling through it. Then a shockwave echoed through the yard, dispersing the smoke and revealing the battlefield into view.
The silver knight stood in the centre of the courtyard, mostly concealed by the red lightning swirling around her, but it was clear enough that she was was missing the helmet from earlier. She charged forward with a scream ripping from her lips as lightning arced around her, as she brought her sword down onto her opponent.
Three casually blocked the sword blow with the side of her palm, before jamming her scissors forward again. Red lighting arced again as the silver knight jerked back, reaching for her stomach where the blade had jabbed forward, blinding Three for a moment while Blake appeared in front of her.
A burst of flame shot outwards, and the light and chaos was drawing Yang away from every aspect of the fight until it took centre stage. Her eyes flickered around to observe as much of the combat as she could, trying to take in what was happening. The old man, Three's Disciple, was throwing a bladed disk, a chakram, through the air. Ciel stepped forward and touched the bladed disk, and while her arm jerked back at a painful angle, but the chakram dyed into monochrome as it slowed to a crawl.
Green blades danced around the battlefield, pushing away the old man, Octa if Yang recalled right, before circling around the form of-
...Oh. Well, that explained the question of whether or not Penny was in on Ciel's whole plan or not.
The green blades danced around Penny, someone who should have been Ruby's friend but was not working with terrorists, like the girl who burnt down an orphanage and killing her f-
A green beam of energy rippled forth, throwing dust into the air as it tore through space, slamming into the Intoner. She let out a musical tone, and a barrier appeared between Three and Penny, blocking the beam entirely.
"Blake!" Penny called, reaching towards her belt and pulling out something that didn't look like it was there a second ago. She threw it towards the White Fang terrorist, and a black ribbon trailed after it as the gun sailed through the air. Blake caught it, and when Penny threw a second, identical gun, Blake caught that one too.
"Have a present!" Penny called, as Three's barrier fell, and a scissor blade soared through the air. Penny ducked, but the blade that clipped the side of her arm was enough, as her Aura shattered.
"How bothersome." Three muttered. "And did you have to break my doll too?"
Three drew attention to it, and Yang's eyes drifted towards it, as Three turned away from the battle completely to focus on the kneeling robotic figure behind her. Yang vaguely recognised it, as the robot which had carried Three to her bed after she fell asleep in the middle of the castle, but the fact that it wasn't moving was bothersome.
The silver knight laughed. "You think that was the plan?"
Three turned back to her, lazily. "Hm?
"It's funny, how the timing works." The silver knight continued, a confident tone in her voice. "You'd just gone and updated the control array on your little 'Doll,' didn't you?"
Three yawned. "Bored now. Please stop moving so I can kill you."
"You probably should have checked where those arrays were coming from." The woman coursing with red energy chuckled. "Because as I'm told, the only control system for those things to be delivered to anyone here went through Penny's hands first."
Penny's swords surged forward, ineffectually stabbing into Three's Aura, but the wires around them were enough to hold her in place for just long enough.
"Pyrrha!" Penny called, as Three shrugged one arm through the wires. Blades fell all around Three, as the robot behind her siezed up, and started to shake.
"My lady!" Octa called out suddenly, turning to throw his other chakram. The instant it left his hands, Ciel was in front of it, her own Aura taking the hit before Octa could disrupt what followed.
The robot behind Three stood suddenly, as it's hand reached for one of the blades that fell next to it.
Red energy surged forward, as the silver knight swiped her sword, and Three sang another note to create a barrier in front of her. Blake's burns lit aflame, and she swept her hands through the air, letting a burning wall surge forward. Three sang at a higher note, and the wall of fire was blocked by a second swirling barrier. Blake swept her other arm, letting another fire blast loose, and continued to let out the burning blasts repeatedly.
Penny brought the swords around her a third time, before letting out another green energy beam towards Three. Three's voice rose to a higher pitch yet again, and a third barrier appeared to block it, as Penny closed her eyes and grunted to keep the force of the beam going.
Octa tried to rush past Ciel, but Ciel took his chakram out of her stomach, and threw it at him. He docked under it, delaying him for that moment extra needed.
The robot looked down at the blade in her hands, and then looked up to Three.
The blade surged forward, and Three stumbled forward in shock. Her voice stopped, the barriers fell, and three attacks tore into Three all at once. Blinding light bloomed outwards, and Yang looked away as it stung at her eyes.
As the light died, Yang tried to process what was going on.
What the hell was that? Now Three's robot thing just got hijacked? They go and plan to have it hacked like that, then just leave it in the wake of an attack that, from Yang's experience, wouldn't be that much of an inconvenienc-
Wait, why was it next to Penny now? When did that happen? There was a split-second where Yang couldn't see anything, and that was enough for Penny to drag the robot out of the way before it could get in the path of any of the attacks?
Three was looking to the ground as the dust settled, before she looked upwards, towards Penny and the robot.
"That's mine." Three replied. "Give it back."
"I don't think you get to decide what's yours." Penny replied. "Especially not whe-"
There was a flash of purple, and Penny's arm flew off of her body. Electric sparks danced around the stump on Penny's arm, as she looked down at it.
The fact that Penny apparently had a cybernetic arm that she could use well enough that it wasn't even noticeably fake would have been shocking, but Yang was feeling numb from all the shocks she had seen so far already. Or maybe that was just the blood loss. Probably both.
"Oh." Penny noted, looking down at it. "That's the limit I've been stuck wi-"
One of her wire-protected swords danced in front of her face, to block the scissor blade Three smashed into her. The blunt side of the blade bashed into her head, throwing her back and to the ground.
The robot stabbed Penny's sword forward again, into Three's chest, and Three snapped the blade with a casual motion. A backhand slapped the side of the arm, throwing it off of the robot and giving similar electrical sparks to the stump left behind.
"Behave." Three drawled lazily. "Kleos."
The robot jumped backwards, completely ignoring the command that Yang vaguely recalled as a reboot, and Three sighed.
"Bully." She complained. She looked back for a moment, as smoke started coiling around Blake again. Three's arm moved in a blur, as her scissor blade tore through the air, and the smoke dispersed again to reveal the silver knight bursting forward again, red energy arcing around her. Three raised her scissor blade to block the silver knight's strike, and as the crimson energy arced downwards, propelling the girl wrought in silver upwards and away from Three while pummelling Three with red lightning.
Blake charged into the fray, her Semblance leaving behind shadowy replicas that burst into smoke a fraction of a section later. The battlefield was consumed by smoke, and without the battlefield being visible again, Yang's eyes slid to the side, where the rest of the battle was happening.
In the side, Octa rushed at Ciel, even as she circled him, staying out of range of his fists while keeping her weapons away from him. Octa paused in the middle of the battlefield, looking around, trying to plot something. Making a sudden burst of movement towards the chakram moving slowly through the air, and Ciel was between Octa and his target before he could reach it. She punched him in the stomach, and his hands caught hers before she could move away. His legs jumped forward, and the forward momentum she was trapped into at that moment caused Ciel to stumble back into the slowed chakram. Ciel cried out, as it cut through her back, and Octa took the opportunity to let go of Ciel and grab the weapon in the air.
Colour returned to it all of a sudden, and Octa turned around and sliced through the air. Ciel jumped away, and raised her hands again as she looked towards him, keeping him distracted from the main battle in the smoke.
An explosion rippled through the area, and the smoke was dispersed yet again, as a figure with a tattered green scarf stepped out of the ruins of the Schnee manor entrance. Yang's eyes went wide as she realised who was stepping through the building.
Gawain stepped out of the building, into the sunlight, and observed what was going on.
Was there anyone Yang had met in Atlas who wasn't secretly part of some terrorist plot? She hadn't talked to him much, but she had liked Gawain, and now he was a traitor as well.
"Who are you?" Three asked, looking towards him as the dust from the explosion settled around her. "Wait, I don't care. Go away."
"If you wish." Gawain replied. "This encounter should be over shortly, regardless. When-"
He stumbled forward as something hit him from behind, and as he regained his balance, wires grappled around him, binding him in place. Gawain flexed his body, ripping the wires off of him, and a brown blur passed over his head.
"Lady Velvet?" Gawain asked, looking at her. "I thought I already..."
"You didn't bother making sure you put me down." Velvet replied. "Shame for you."
"...Alas, I feel for you as well." Gawain noted. "Once-"
The sound of an approaching airship suddenly blared over the sky, a lot louder then it was a second ago.
"Oh, good." Three noted. "Backup. I can focus on killing you now."
She turned towards Penny, and took a step forward, before Blake's black ribbons coiled around Three's midsection. Three looked down at it, and suddenly Blake was behind her, smoke blowing away from her while she brought down her sickle.
Three stumbled, as Blake pushed the assault, and the silver knight charged in on the other side of Three, trying to stab her in the face.
Three's scissor blade slammed backwards, stabbing through Blake's arm before slamming her into the silver knight, throwing both of them away as Three looked up.
Slowly, from her position in the building, Yang could see the airship approaching. Not the biggest, but still big, and armed to the teeth. Miniguns, mortars, beam weapons of some kind, the works. Even the chaotic battle seemed to stop, as everyone turned to look up at the new arrival.
Yang let out a sigh of relief that she didn't know she was holding.
Was this going to be the end of it?
She wanted it to be, so badly. There was so much she didn't know, didn't understand, and right now she just wanted to let it end. She was tired. She didn't know what was happening, she could barely concentrate on everything that had happened, and she just needed time to unwind. To fully comprehend everything that had happened.
Help would be here, they could end the battle, Yang could come out and ask them to help her find Ruby...
And then, in a burst of flame and screeching metal, the airship tore itself apart, exploding outwards and scattering throughout the manor. Shattered remnants of steel struck every corner of the courtyard, with Blake and the silver knight firing attacks upwards to blow away hunks of steel, and the ruined front entrance, as well as the destroyed hole in the top floor where Three had been earlier, were bombarded by more and more raining metal.
Yang almost missed it when it happened, with how abrupt it had been. One second, it looked like it might be over. The next, a flaming being was falling from the sky, and a bestial roar shook through the building again. Em suddenly threw Yang and Melanie aside, as the glass of the window shattered, and even as her Aura took the brunt of broken glass, enough shards got past her that Yang felt the stabbing pain through her arm.
"W-What..." Melanie muttered, as she tried to stumble back up. Her bloody stump fidgeted as she tried to boost herself upwards again, and Em pushed her up, while pulling Yang up to the window again.
What she saw on the other side, she couldn't believe.
There, in the centre of the field, as the burning remnants of the airship continued to fall, was a large reptile, stretching it's wings as it curled it's head upwards.
"That was simple." The white dragon noted. "There are more of those coming, yes?"
"Yeah." A woman's voice replied, as a blur of white jumped off the side of the mythical beast right there assisting the terrorists, and landed on the ground in the middle. "Go kill, Michael."
The white legend laughed. "As you say."
Wings flapped, and in a few seconds, the white dragon soared off into the air, leaving behind the figure of white left in the battlefield.
Three was the first person to react, as she stepped forward, approaching the white cloaked figure.
"...Zero?" Three asked, her voice hopeful.
...Zero? As in, the extra sister that Two mentioned hadn't been found yet? Another Intoner?
But then why-
"Three." The figure in white replied, a tone of amusement to her voice. "It's been a while, sister."
Three's scissor blade fell to the floor, as she ran forward, her arms widened. She rushed to Zero, pulling her into a hug, and hid her face into Zero's shoulder.
"I-"
Three's continuation was cut short, but the sword shoved into her stomach. A cough echoed through the air, as Three bowled over. Her legs failed underneath her, as she collapsed, and Zero pulled the sword out of her a moment later.
"My lady!" Octa called, rushing forward. A sudden gunshot rang out from right next to the window Yang was behind, and she jerked back as the bullet soared forward into Octa, pushing him back.
Mercury walked away from the window, stepping into view, chuckling.
"I'm surprised that worked." He noted. "I got to just sit aside until-"
"Who the fuck are you?" Zero asked, as she watched Three try to stumble to her feet.
What was going on? Yang couldn't keep track of the thread, she was losing the plot, she wasn't even sure what was going on at this point. Two's missing sister was here, and now she was killing Three, and-
"Z-Zero..." Three stuttered out, as she tried to push herself up. "I-"
Zero's sword stabbed forward again, slamming into her chest. Three screamed, as her hands surged around to catch the sword, holding it in place as it stabbed into her torso. Groaning, Three looked up, her voice hitching.
"W-Why..."
Zero kicked her, sending her to the ground a good few metres away, and Zero looked around again.
"Serious question, though." Zero replied. "I know some of you. Explain."
Penny stepped forward, holding a hand over the electrified stump.
"I don't know why he's here either." She confirmed. "I certainly didn't ask him to-"
"I did." Blake replied, drawing attention. "The original plan went wrong when our contact in the mountains didn't pass on information. His faction approached the White Fang, and they filled in some gaps in information."
"And her?" Zero asked again, looking over at where Gawain and Velvet were holding each other in place.
"With the Schnee." Blake confirmed.
The woman in white reached to her waist, and pulled out a gleaming blade.
"Is that so?"
The shimmering in the sunlight shifted, and Velvet's Aura shattered as the dagger stabbed into her chest. She collapsed, and Gawain took a moment to kneel over her, as blood splattered through the air.
"Problem solved." Zero replied, dusting off of her hands. "Anyone else?"
Nobody responded, as Octa struggled back to his feet. Ciel kicked him in the stomach, knocking him to the ground again, as everyone else gathered around Zero.
"No?" The girl in white asked. "Well, time to get it done with, then."
Walking towards Three's immobile body on the ground, Zero reached the sword and pulled it out of Three again.
As Zero took a moment to line her blade up with Three's neck, Yang tried to take a moment to process this newest revelation.
Zero, the Zero which Two had mentioned months ago, was here. And evil. Was this her plan? She was working with the White Fang, she was working with whoever the silver knight was with, she didn't even know everyone she was working with but, did Velvet just die? Was she still alive? It had been over that fast, but now this woman in white was just stepping in and moving to kill Three now, because...
...Why.
For what purpose?
There was a boom, a sound surpassing sonic speed, and the glass shards on the ground shattered further as a blur of red leaped out of the second storey window. Zero turned towards it and swung her sword. Metal locked into metal, as the red blur came to a stop a step past Zero, throwing her back.
Yang knew the exact second she started moving. It was the exact moment where the red blur had become visible. That had been enough.
"Ruby!" Yang called, as she vaulted over the window ledge. Her broken hand cracked further, but Yang worked through the pain, and continued on. Her feet hit the ground, and the bloodied scar in her leg opened further as she ran.
She knew this was a bad idea, Zero just put down Three in the space of five seconds, but fuck it. Ruby wasn't the only one to be the hero, rushing into a fight with no-
In a flash, the woman in white was in Yang's face. The sword struck through Yang's elbow, and all of a sudden, her arm was feeling a lot lighter.
Fear stabbed into Yang's heart as she looked up at that bloodstained face, white skin framed in white hair against white clothes, a bored face looking down on Yang mercilessly as time seemed to draw to a halt.
But, it was odd.
Looking up at Zero...
Where had she seen that face before?
Yang could almost feel her brain pulsing, pain coursing through her skull as she looked up into those merciless eyes, some kind of connection trying to form in her brain and fizzling out. Why couldn't she put her finger on it, why couldn't-
Zero's sword descended, and Yang closed her eyes as the fear stilled her heart.
No more additional pain came to her, and after a moment, Yang dared to look up again. Her vision was filled with red.
Ruby stood between Yang and Zero, Crescent Rose held to block the descending sword. Zero pulled her sword back, a furious, annoyed look on her face, as she glared down at the girl in the red cloak, and Ruby took a step back in shock.
The realisation struck, Yang realised, as she saw the similarities. How could she have not seen it sooner. That face was older, but it looked so much similar.
Right down to the same silver eyes.
Zero's sword plunged forward, and Ruby cried out, as the sword stabbed through her and into her back. The bloodstained tip stopped a heartbeat away from Yang's own chest, and Crescent Rose fell from Ruby's grasp as she stepped back.
Yang felt her pulse picking up, pulsing faster and faster, as all that pain, all that confusion, all of that shock, was burnt away by the boiling rage.
Hand twisted into a fist, Yang screamed,
[X] Lash out with her body, her Semblance.
[X] Lash out with her soul, her Magic
