I have zero energy for anything bigger right now and cant post half the shit i want to just yet (need to detach from some, Fisher cant go up early, boring RL stuff, I'm tired) so have a tiny 313 word thing. (I know. A tiny thing. I have learned witchcraft; all my other stuff tends to be long).

Inspired by a prompt from witterprompts on tumblr The "sound of your voice" line. And my headcanon that Aizen likes cheesy pickup lines.

Lost

Aizen sat at the table, head resting in his hand. His gaze soft as he looked at Gin, who was currently explaining his plans for... well, his plans for something. He wasn't sure what. He'd stopped listening to the words a while ago. But the words were unimportant. It was just nice to listen to the sound.

You're smiling again, Kyouka teased lightly.

Shut up, he told her. Though there was no heat behind it at all. She was right though. He was smiling.

"Sousuke,"

He was relaxed. He was happy.

"Sousuke..."

And Gin's voice was the perfect thing to listen to.

"Sousuke!"

"Hm?" Aizen looked up, his attention grabbed. His gaze focusing back on Gin and his mind yanked back to the present moment again.

"Were you listening to a thing I said?" Gin asked, crossing his arms and frowning.

Uh-oh, now you're in trouble, Kyouka giggled.

"You weren't listening, were you?"

Aizen wracked his brain for a response while his zanpaktou tittered at him. Thankfully he was good at thinking on his feet, so to speak.

"I haven't no, but..." He began, smiling a coy little smile and feigning innocence. "You make it so easy to get lost in the sound of your voice."

That did the trick. Gin blinked in surprise. Blushing a lovely shade of pink. It was Aizen's favourite colour, at least on Gin. Nobody else could wear it on their cheeks half as well.

But then, he might be a bit biased. Just a little bit.

He chuckled to himself as Gin cleared his throat and tried to recover, and pick up his thoroughly derailed train of thought.

He's adorable when you embarrass him isn't he? Kyouka said.

Yes. Aizen answered, nonchalantly taking a sip of his tea. Quietly agreeing with her. Yes he is.

Of course, he might be a little bit biased about that too.
