Theodore watched in curious boredom as his best mate paced in his irritation around his living room. "What is bothering you again?"

"..." Draco stopped and turned in his annoyance, "HERMIONE! I am being forced into marrying Hermione! GRANGER!?"

"And what part of that really bothers you?"

Shaking his head in confusion, Draco sat down in the chair across from his studious friend, "...what?"

"Which part of it bothers you? That you're being forced into the marriage, or that it's Granger?"

Standing suddenly, he had to stop himself from yelling any more than he already had. "...both!"

"...I wouldn't have a problem with the Brightest Witch of our year, and largest contributor to the fall of the Dark Lord, being my wife."

"You must be joking."

"I'm not," Theodore stood up and stretched before bringing his hand to his back pocket and pulling out a folded piece of paper. "Also, you aren't the only one facing the ramifications of this blasted law."

"...on behalf of the Minister of Magic. As pre-explained by Minister Shacklebolt, Ginny Weasley, age seventeen, and chosen bride-to-be of one...Theodore Nott..."

"Wait...how are you getting married to the Weaselette?! I thought she was in a relationship with Potter."

Theodore shrugged, "I wouldn't know. I received my letter about an hour before you got here."

"Oh? Who delivered it?"

"...Potter."

Draco felt his eyes widen, "do tell."

"Nothing really happened, he wasn't pleased, obviously. However, he just read the letter, oh! No...there was something else...he told me that 'if I so much as hurt a hair on her head, he would drag me through the ministry of magic, to the ninth floor, into the Death Chamber, and toss me through the veil of death'...his words."

A laugh left the stunned Draco, though slight it was. "I guess it was her idea, whatever happened."

Sitting back down, Theodore shrugged, "Who knows, but I wasn't about to ask the bloke." Sighing, he picked up the book he'd been reading before the arrival of his friend, "...I wasn't going to mention this, but the same threat applies for you...Draco."

"Hm?"

"Concerning Granger, I do so enjoy our conversations, as few and in-between as they are."

"Since when do you and Granger talk?"

A smirk formed at his lips, Theodore pointedly looked at the fireplace, "I'm expecting a guest in an hour, I'd like some time before her arrival."

"...Granger?"

Rolling his eyes, he shook his head, "Ginny...the 'Weaselette'."

"Of course," Draco stood and walked off, "getting kicked out of the house for the Gingerette."

He walked into the fireplace and took a handful of the floo powder before calling out his own home. A poof was carried throughout the home of Theodore Nott and he placed his book back down, glancing to the fire place, he pointed his wand at it and brought to life warm and gentle flames. They would of course extinguish should someone floo in, but for the time being, they provided him with some comfort.

Finding herself in a lonely looking room, Luna Lovegood looked around and sighed, "...well...this is already off to a pleasant start." She took out her paper and gave into another sigh of depression.

"I'm becoming all the more excited over these events the more I listen to you."

Jumping, Luna turned and found herself staring into the hazy blue eyes of Blaise Zabini. "My apologies, I wasn't aware that you were even present."

"No, by all means, voice your concerns and obvious depression. I'm not happy with these turn outs either...but...they are what they are." Blaise sighed and closed his eyes, "I don't like this."

Luna looked on curiously at Blaise before smiling gently, walking towards the Italian wizard, she placed her hand over top his, lightly, just barely touching him. She waited, watching as he opened his eyes and turned them back onto her. "...can we make this work?"

A small incline of his brow caused her to give into a small smile, she never had a problem with Blaise, or his counter parts, Theodore and Draco. It was simply a matter of, neither had gotten to know the other.

Turning his hand over, he held hers experimentally, "you're okay with it?"

"I'm not against it..."

"...that's the best I'm going to get right now, isn't it."

She smiled wider and laughed, "Let's start where we left off at in school."

"Where did we leave off at in school?"

"...my name is Luna...Luna Lovegood," she smiled.

"...Blaise Zabini, it's nice to meet you, Luna."

"Nice to meet you too, Blaise. Oh, what are your views on Nargles?"

"Nargles...?"

Hermione sat with Ginny in her room, the red head was distraught, her tears forming unceasingly at the corner of her eyes. "Ginny, I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault, it's mine!" Ginny glared, seething at the pillow stained in her tears. "I broke it off with him when I realized he signed that stupid law! Merlin, Hermione, why did I do that!? Now...oh what have I done...?"

Hermione shook her head and smiled sadly, "it can't be undone, Ginny, and you have to meet with Theodore in..." Hermione looked at the clock and frowned, "Twenty minutes..."

"I don't want to go." Ginny wiped away her tears and sighed. "Besides, I look horrible."

"...you look beautiful," Hermione smiled, "but I know a few pepper upper spells that are sure to help with the tear stains and puffy eyes."

Laughing lightly at the offered help, Ginny shook her head, "I know the same ones, I'm fine...or, I'll be fine. Though, would you mind waiting till I get back? I'm sure this won't take long. I mean, its Theodore Nott...the guy went all seven years of Hogwarts without saying a word to me."

"Which means he's sure to have plenty to say to you now!" Hermione stood and walked toward Ginny's closet, pulling out a black dress with wide straps and a V-neckline revealing the alluring bust, the chiffon ornaments adorn the natural waist and created the high-low skirt with an asymmetrical hemline.

"Why that one?" Ginny asked, frowning with malice at the gorgeous dress.

"Because," Hermione smiled, "it looks great on the hanger, which means it'll look even better on you." Hermione jumped at the sudden warmth in her pocket, pulling from her pocket the paper she had received earlier from Nott senior, she frowned as she read over the font that moments ago appeared. "..."

"Oh? Is there a date to plan?" Ginny asked snidely as she snatched the black dress from Hermione. "How about you wear this?" She motioned to the dress.

Hermione frowned, "...funny."

"I thought so too." Ginny pulled her shirt off and started pulling the dress on, "so what time is your meeting?"

"...midnight."

"Midnight?!"

"Yeah...and ask me where."

"Where?"

Hermione scoffed, "The astronomy tower..."
