He's in the Calisota Duckburg history books. He was one of Duckburg and the United States most notable and historic figures and heros ever. If you don't know him, shame on you because he is on the ten dollar bill.
It's nearly impossible to miss. It's like one knew him, yet there's a veil that blocks the past to the present.
Yet, of all historic he was and seemed, in his time and era, he was not the big man or anything like that.
"An orphan?" One would whispered. "Really?"
"I heard he was born out of a wedlock. His mamá was pregnant when his father left since she wasn't right for him."
"Been with every single known family but all have died. Murdered, sick, or suicide."
"Hopping in every single direction with no place to truely call home. No wonder he's a skinny thing. No food either."
Every job, work, and experience just wasn't enough. This wasn't going to be enough of a stable life, working in the fields, managing a ship or heaven forbid, working on an invention. He spent time reading. And waiting.
But, he kept on waiting. Just waiting.
When the revolution came around, he knew this was his chance. A chance for adventure and away from his old life yet, it wasn't as it all seemed.
"The right hand man for General McDuck. Skilled with a quill, had intricate mind and fast on his own feet."
Many died. Horrible and gruesome. Blood seeping in the earth.
Some were his buddies, laughing, trusting drinking, and fighting.
A fellow comrade he trusted died for him.
General McDuck trusted him with his life.
A lady loved him, after multiple attempts, trusting him.
And pantaloons were in England, the cause of the entire war. Not even close to trusting.
All were somewhat trusting. Everywhere he went, there was one key word. Trust.
"Class, he is one of the most historic figures in history."
"Today we celebrate the anniversary of..."
He was here. And there. Everywhere.
Repeated again, he's famous, a kind of crackpot in the best way possible, and himself.
He is Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera.
