A/N: Found some stories I thought I lost on an old computer, figured I'd share them! P.S. I Do Not Own Naruto. Enjoy!

Hearing a knock on her door, Tsunade went to see who it was. Not seeing anyone, Tsunade turned to shut the door, but not before seeing a piece of paper stuck to the door. Taking it to her room, she recognized the handwriting instantly.

"Jiraiya." Even though she was still a little upset with him, she felt guilty for blowing up at him the other day. Deciding to see what he wanted, she unfolded the paper.

Dinner. 6 pm. The Candlelit Koi.

Tsunade raised her eyebrows at this. The Candlelit Koi was one of the most expensive restaurants in Konoha. Noticing a small storage seal at the bottom, she unsealed its contents.

"Oh my." Inside the seal was a beautiful emerald green dress, Tsunade's favorite color. Holding it up to herself in the mirror, Tsunade took in as much of the dress as she could.

"What did I do to deserve a man like him?" Looking at the clock, Tsunade decided she would take a bath so as to pamper herself for tonight, for Jiraiya.

Taking her time getting ready for her date, Tsunade picked out dangly diamond and gold earrings and a simple diamond necklace to go with her dress. Seeing as she was heiress of a prestigious clan, there was no shortage of jewelry to pick from. Pinning about half her hair back, she curled the ends. While she normally didn't wear makeup, Tsunade decided a little wouldn't hurt and went with a more natural look with a hint of green eyeshadow. The hint of green really made her amber eyes pop. Finally slipping into her dress, Tsunade turned and observed herself in the mirror.

While most of the dress was made of a green silk fabric, there was a stream of sheer lace that ran from the back of her right shoulder around her waist and down the side of her left leg. Woven throughout the lace was small crystals and gold sequins. With a higher neckline, it was the perfect amount of flirty yet respectable.

Seeing that it was almost six, Tsunade looked herself over in the mirror one last time before leaving to meet Jiraiya at the restaurant.

Dinner went well, ranging from comfortable silence to easy conversation between the pair. As it was their first time dining at the restaurant, Jiraiya and Tsunade were both impressed by the service and romantic ambiance they experienced.

"This was wonderful Jiraiya-kun, it's been a while since we've been able to enjoy a nice dinner together! By the way, how did you manage to snag a reservation? Usually this place is booked out several months in advance." Tsunade questioned as they prepared to leave.

"Just lucky I guess; they must have had a last-minute cancellation." Or maybe the promise of a heft tip…oh well, every cent well spent. Jiraiya thought back on his efforts to make tonight memorable. Anything to make my Hime happy…

Leaving the restaurant, Jiraiya led Tsunade on a walk to the training grounds. Reaching the Third Training Ground, Jiraiya slowed their pace. It was fairly dark by this time, so Tsunade didn't notice the large scroll hanging on the three wooden posts in the center of the training ground.

"Tsunade-hime, I wanted to apologize for my actions earlier this week."

"Jiraiya, you don't—."

"I'm so sorry for yelling at you. For hurting you. You certainly didn't deserve it and I don't want you thinking that you had done something to upset me. After we had had lunch, I got a message from Sarutobi saying he wanted me to come to his office. Well, once I got there he was assigning me a mission. A mission for today. I tried pushing back the time, because I wanted to spend our anniversary together. Lately, our schedules have been so busy that we haven't exactly had time to be together, except for the occasional lunch and when we're both at home after missions at night. I tried to get sensei to delay the mission time, but I didn't tell him why, so he wouldn't. I don't know why I just didn't tell him it was our anniversary, I suppose I wanted to keep the details of our relationship private…"

"When I had gotten home that night, I was upset. I was mad at Sarutobi, I was mad at myself, and I was frustrated that we wouldn't be able to spend our anniversary together. When you had gotten home you did what you normally did, telling me about your day. I don't know why, but I just snapped and I'm so ashamed that I couldn't control my anger, especially because I hurt you."

"I love you Tsunade. You're the most important person in the world to me. I love hearing about your day and I'm so sorry that I got upset. You telling be about your day is possibly my favorite part of the day." At this point, Tsunade could see Jiraiya's eyes were watering. "Even if I don't understand everything you say, you get this sparkle in your eyes and have that crooked little smile that I adore. I love watching you talk about things that you love and enjoy doing. It makes me happy knowing that you're doing something that makes you happy. I'm truly sorry my hime, I hope you can forgive me."

"Oh Jiraiya, I forgave you days ago. You know I have a bad temper and I overreact sometimes."

Jiraiya had a relieved look on his face. "Good. Hopefully that will make this go smoother. Kai! (Release)"

"Jiraiya? Make what—?" Jiraiya turned her around to face the three posts. As Tsunade turned around, she could see that a scroll on the posts was lighting up. Well, parts of the scroll were lighting up. Words were being made.

SENJU TSUNADE, WILL YOU MARRY ME?

Tsunade was shocked and slowly turned to face Jiraiya, who was down on one knee holding a diamond ring. Biting his lip, Jiraiya was getting a little nervous since Tsunade hadn't answered yet.

Nodding her head, she finally spoke, "Oh Jiraiya. Yes of course I'll marry you!" Standing, Jiraiya put the ring on Tsunade's finger and brought her in for a deep kiss.

"I love you, hime."

"I love you too."

Leaving a clone to take down the scroll, Jiraiya led Tsunade back to his house.

"If you said Sarutobi-sensei wouldn't let you push back the mission, then what are you doing here?"

"Well, you know how I was in the hospital the next day? I was making sure you had today off. Then I went to Sarutobi's office and told him that I already had plans for today and that I wouldn't leave unless he postponed the mission. He wasn't very willing to change anything until I told him it was our five year anniversary…"

"So I take it he changed the time?"

"Well he wasn't that happy with me but yeah, he moved it back."

"So when do you leave?"

"Um. 5."

"5 am? As in a few hours?"

"Ah-hem. Yes mam. I told him I would even get up at six to do the mission so he told me five." Sitting down on Jiraiya's bed, Tsunade just gave him a look.

"What?"

"I don't even have to ask to know that you haven't even started packing yet." Laughing, Jiraiya sat down next to her. "Well in my defense, I was busy planning something else for a special someone." Giving him a quick peck on the lips, Tsunade stood up.

"If you start packing for your mission, I'll go make you some food to bring along."

"Hime, you're the best!"

"Hurry up or there won't be any time left to celebrate." Jiraiya quickly kissed her before rushing to get his supplies packed.
