Written in the style of a "cinematic universe" connecting all of the Scooby-Doo shows and films from the 1980s, this story picks up where Reluctant Werewolf left off. Shaggy, Scooby, Scrappy and Googie have to escape Dracula when he follows them home. In their desperate quest to escape him, the four adventurers attempt to get help from some old friends.

Unwittingly, they become pieces in a cruel game in which the villains are not unmasked in the end.

As the title suggests, this is a rewrite of the 1998 DTV film Zombie Island for Dimension Four. While visiting New Orleans with their friend Garfield Wu, Mystery Inc. was invited for a stay at the mysterious Moonscar Island, where a series of zombie appearances soon led them to discover the island's dark past and implications to the magical world. Also, the Boo Brothers are missing and the monster seems to be behind it. Will the gang solve the mystery and can Shaggy find a way to get away from that place before he runs into more blasts from his past?
