Danny's and Liv's Past
Inside the secret HQ for the Four Guardians, Harpuia, Fefnir, Leviathan, and Phantom stood in four corners for the training room they were in. Watching from the next room was X knowing that they were ready.
"Okay guardians, remember the armors let you deal with tons of punishment, but I want you be careful. You will train for a hour then we'll break. Well keep this up until you need to return home or if there a Maverick Attack." he said.
All four of them nodded and stood ready. Once the timer started all four Guardians rush at each other. This was their training, they were well aware that if someone think they fight in just one way, they could counter it. As Phantom got close to Harpuia he notices a kick coming right at him. He duck to dodge and rise his arm to block another kick. Leviathan smirk and back off as Phantom try to hit her with his palm. Phantom was the most athletic of the team, while Leviathan was the quickest. Harpuia dodge Fefnir punch as he threw a kick in return that Fefnir block. Harpuia was not as quick as Leviathan, but he was the most smartest of the team as Fefnir was the powerest. Then Harpuia and Phantom changes targets, the two of the them throwing a punch and a kick at each other. Leviathan quickly dodge Fefnir punch before whacking his head with her staff.
"OW! What did I do?" He asked holding his head.
"Nothing, I just felt like doing that." Leviathan smile.
"Yo, Phantom. Tell your girlfriend here to stop whacking me." He said only for Leviathan to whack his head again.
"OW! What did I do now?" He asked.
"That was for opening your big mouth!" Leviathan shouted, even though she was blushing.
"Leviathan I told you weapon training was for another day." X said.
"I know." She said and let her staff disappear, before hitting Fefnir with a right cross.
They training went on for the hour, as it did, the Guardians change targets every five minutes. Fefnir kept his mouth shut every time he fought Leviathan. Once the break start, the Guardians armors came off and the four teens sat down to relax for the next 15 minutes.
"You know something. 8 months ago, we never dream of being heroes. Now look at us. Four teenagers hanging out and becoming good friends" Fred spoke up.
"Agree, I must admit I thought I'll be doing nothing but look for a cure for my mother for the rest of my life. I happy to meet you guys." Henry smile.
"Yeah, Hanging out with you guys is just as fun as being with Tucker and Sam." Danny added.
"Do you guys remember how we meet?" Liv asked.
"I haven't forgotten." Fred smirk.
"Indeed, back then, I really didn't know much about you guys." Henry agree.
"Yeah, we were four different people with different lives." Danny said.
Liv smile and thought back to the day she meet them and fell in love with Danny Fenton.
8 months ago...
Liv was following Danny around still showing her the school she be going to. It wasn't long before they ran into one of the treachers.
"Ah, Mr. Fenton. I was wondering where you were." Mr. Lancer said.
"I guess you wasn't told yet. Principal Ishiyama asked me to tour a new student and I would be able come back to classes after lunch." Danny said.
"I see." Mr. Lancer said and look over to Liv.
"Welcome to Casper High Miss...?" He said before not knowing her name.
"Livia Whitewater." She said a little shy.
"Whitewater?" Mr. Lancer asked in shock before he smile.
"Well it a pleasure to meet you. I hope you enjoy our school." He said and turn to Danny.
"I'll see you in class Mr. Fenton." He added and walk away.
"Okay? That was weird." Danny said.
"Yeah." Liv agree, though she knew why.
Danny show her some more classrooms and the teachers that was also shock to hear Liv last name. Danny became more confuse as they continue the tour. It wasn't long before the lunch bell ring and Danny took Liv to the lunch room.
"Thanks for the tour Danny." Liv said smiling at him.
"No problem. It nice to show a pretty girl around..." Danny had stop himself, due to what he said.
Liv just shook her head. She always been the prettiest girl in her old school and many become friends with her because of that. So far only three people had become her true friends.
"Sorry. Sometimes I just say my thoughts out loud." Danny told her smile sheepishly.
"It's fine. I get that all the time at my old school." Liv said.
"Still I won't lie. You are pretty, but I'm not the type of guy that like girl because of their looks. I always remember this. All nice girls are pretty, but not all pretty girls are nice." Danny said.
"Really? Where did you get that? Pick up lines for Dorks?" Liv tease.
Danny was little shock before seeing Liv giggle. He chuckle with her.
"No, I just take notices how some girls act." Danny answer her.
They walk on until they reach the table that had two other people sit there.
"Hey guys." Danny said making the two turn to them.
"Liv, these are my best friends Tucker and Sam. Tucker, Sam this is Liv, she's new here." Danny said.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Tucker Fouly, that TF as in Too Fine." Tucker said before Sam reach over and pull his ear.
"Don't scare her." Sam whisper angry before letting go.
"Sorry about him. I'm Sam Mansion." She said.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Livia Whitewater." Liv smile.
"WHITEWATER?!" Tucker and Sam shouted.
"Okay what is up with everyone? Why do they get so shock when the hear Liv's last name?" Danny asked confuse.
"Dude! How could you not know the name Whitewater?" Tucker asked shock.
"Yeah, Victor Whitewater is a really know Movie Director and his wife Sally Whitewater acts in most of them." Sam told Danny.
"Is that true Liv?" Danny asked.
"Yes, but I have to asked, why are you calling me Liv?" Liv answer then asked him.
"Oh, well, saying Livia doesn't sound right to me, so I thought a nickname would be easier. But if you wish to be call Livia, I'll call you that." Danny explain.
"You know what. Call me Liv. I like it." She smile after thinking about it.
"Sure, but it may not last long." Tucker said before sighing.
"Why's that?" Liv asked.
"Because the A-Listers are going to asked you to join them. I take it because of your parents, you're rich right?" Sam asked.
"Yes, but what does that have to do with anything?" Liv asked confuse.
"The A-Listers a full of rich and popular people who run the school. And you don't have to worry about getting into trouble." Tucker explain.
"That's not all. You will never be allow to speak with us and have call us names if we come into your sight. And even if someone tells a teacher about the means things you been doing, they will dismiss it as nothing." Danny added.
"What? Why would I do that?" Liv asked even more confuse.
"Why? Liv you're rich and popular, those two things are what the A-Listers look for in people. If you are not those things. Then you fall under the second group, the Freaks and Geeks." Danny said.
"That not want I came here for. I already had people claim to be my friends because of that. But they are not! There are only three people that have truly became my friends." Liv told them.
"I hope you're careful. The A-Listers will try to find a way to ruin your life." Sam said.
"They can try!" Liv shouted slamming her fist on the table making all three teens jump from the action.
Liv notices and took a breath to calm down.
"I'm sorry. I have a short temper. I can lose it really quick." Liv said.
"Well remind me to not get on your bad side." A voice said making the four teens turn.
"Hey there Fred." Tucker smile.
"Hey guys. I heard there new student here and I was hoping to meet them." Fred said stopping at their table.
"Liv, this is Fred Firestorm. He a member of the A-Listers, but he one of the more friendlier ones." Danny said.
"Thanks Danny. Now don't you worry. I plan on changing the A-Listers." Fred told her.
"Normally anyone that tries changing the A-Listers get kick out, but Fred is a different story." Sam added.
"Yeah, they say he can go toe to toe with a maverick and win." Tucker smirk.
"That's what they say anyways." Fred said rolling his eyes.
Liv turn and notices someone else.
"Who's that?" She asked.
"Oh, that's Henry. We don't much about him other then his mom is sick and want to be left alone." Danny said seeing him.
Liv notice Henry looking at her before nodding his head and turn away.
"Well, he looks nice." Liv said a little unsure.
"He been like that since he started here." Sam told her.
"Jazz get nervous around him for some reason." Danny added.
"Jazz?" Liv asked.
"Yeah, she's Danny older sister. She and Henry are in the same grade." Tucker said taking a slip from his drink.
"FENTON!" A voice shouted.
Danny flinch and Fred growl. Soon Dash grab Danny by the collar and pull him up to his face.
"How dare you show a girl around! That a job for the A-Listers, not a greek like you!" Dash said angry.
"I was asked by Principal Ishiyama to show Liv around. If you dislike that much then go tell her." Danny said annoy.
"Who?" Liv asked confuse.
"Dash Baxter, an A-Lister member. His favorite greek to pick on is Danny." Fred growl before pulling Danny away from Dash.
Dash look surprise to see Fred, but he was still upset at Danny.
"Stay out of this Fred! This is between me and Fenton!" Dash told him.
"I thought I told you to leave Danny and his friends alone Dash. It not your fault that Danny was pick to tour a new student over you. I saw you guys laughing when Danny was call to the Principal Office." Fred said standing in Dash's way.
Dash growl before seeing Liv. He walk around Fred and took her hand and kiss it.
"Hello there. I'm Dash Baxter, nice to meet you." He said completely different then before.
Liv just sigh, it was just like at her old school. Guys walk up to her and try sweet talking to her. Liv mostly ignore them, but one guy wouldn't leave her alone. She remove her hand and turn to Danny.
"You okay Danny?" She asked him.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Dash does this to me every day. I'm use to it." Danny told her.
"Why are you talking to this freak?" Dash asked confuse.
Liv turn around and grab Dash by his shirt collar and pull him closer to her. Dash was quite shock to see Liv eyes have a icy glare.
"Danny is not a freak! He show me around the school! He even made me laugh! Danny is my friend. Do not asked me to join your group. I will not treated him or his friends different. And don't think you can try to ruin my life. After all my last name is Whitewater!" Liv yelled.
Dash was shock this time. Before he could said anything else, he was pull away by Fred.
"Beat it." Fred growl and let him go.
Dash stood and walk off, but not before giving Danny a smirk he didn't like.
"You okay?" Danny asked seeing Liv taking some breaths.
"Yeah, sorry." Liv said.
"Geez, you're lucky Danny." Fred said.
"Why's that?" Danny asked confuse.
"Come on dude. You show a girl around." Tucker grin.
"And she stood for you." Fred added.
"Sounds like she likes you." Fred and Tucker said together.
Sam push Tucker face into his food as Liv punch Fred on the shoulder.
"What was that for?" They both said.
Both Liv and Sam just stare at them.
"Look guys..." Danny started to say before a loud alarm full the school.
Danny, Sam, Tucker and Fred jump up knowing what it was. Liv was confuse.
"What is that?!" She had to shout over the alarm.
"MAVERICK ATTACK!" The four shouted.
"Come on Liv." Danny said grabbing her arm and started to lead her through the halls.
"Danny?" Liv asked once she was able to find her footing.
"Amity Park is known as the second place to welcome Reploids with no ill will towards them, however we are more open to Maverick attacks. Lucky the Hunters should be here soon." Danny explain.
Then the wall next to them explode and Liv was throw from Danny and hit the other side of the wall. She slide down and then look up to see one of the Footsoldier Mavericks appear in front of her. It rise it blasters at her and before it fire, something hit it on the back of it helmet. It turn to see Danny Standing there holding a broken pipe like a sword ready to fight it.
"You leave her alone!" Danny shouted and charge at Maverick.
'What is he doing?! He going to get himself kill!' Liv thought in shock.
Sure enough the Maverick fire it blaster at Danny. Danny was appear to dodge the first shoot, but the second graze his arm making him stop and grab it. It rise it blaster but then was hit from behind. Liv had also grab a broken pipe and use it to save Danny's life. She ran pass the Maverick as it try to recover from the surprise attack.
"That's was very stupid! You could have die!" Liv yell at Danny as she check his arm.
"And let someone else die without protecting them? If that happen I wouldn't never forgive myself." Danny explain.
They turn to see the Maverick had recover and was about to fire it blaster at them. When it was hit from behind again! Danny and Liv was shock to see that Fred piece of if the broken wall with a pipe on it and had use it to hit the maverick. Sadly his makeshift weapon broke once he hit the Maverick.
"Fred?" Danny asked shock.
"You two okay?" Fred asked rushing up to them.
"I'm fine, but Danny's hit." Liv explain.
"I'm fine. It just a scratch." Danny smirk.
Fred look at Danny's arm and frown.
"You call that a scratch?" He asked.
The graze was deeper then it look. While it didn't reach the bone, it was deep enough for Danny to lose some blood. His hand was only cover some of it, but it still coming out. Danny knew he had to it check out before he lost too much. Sadly the Maverick recover for the third time and try once again to fire it blaster. Before it could, two small pipes bust through it chest shutting it down for good. It fal towards the ground and everyone look up to see Henry stand over the maverick.
"The next time you three knock down a Maverick, I suggest getting out of here instead of making small talk." He said.
The three look at each other knowing he was right. Henry step up and notices Danny's arm. With a sigh, he took out his first aid kit from his backpack and started to clear Danny's arm. As Liv watch Henry help, she thought back to what Danny did. She was mad at him for doing something stupid, but now...
'He came to my rescue. He saw I was about to die and he rush to my rescue without thinking of what could happen to him. No one done that before. He's...really brave.' Liv thought as she blush.
Danny look over at Liv and saw her cheeks turn red.
"Are you okay Liv?" Danny asked confuse.
"What?! Yes! Um...I'm fine." Liv said in shock trying to hide her face.
Fred notices and smirk.
'Well, well, it looks like the new student has crush on Danny here. Too bad he so clueless!' Fred thought trying to stop himself from laughing out loud.
Henry also saw Liv's blush but he ignore it. He got the blood to stop and then patch up Danny's arm. It would have to do until the real doctors get it check out.
"Is everyone alright?"
All four teens turn and saw a Hunter rush into the hallway who notices the Maverick on the ground and the four four teens.
"You didn't..."The Hunter asked trying to gasp the idea of the four teens taken down a Footsoldier.
"Yeah we did. I know it hard to believe but we took down a Maverick using nothing but some pipes and a piece of the wall." Fred answer.
"And right now Danny need to get to the doctor." Henry spoke up.
The Hunter was snap out of it shock and notices the said teen's arm. He nodded and lead them out of the school.
Flashback end...
"Liv? Hey Liv!" Danny call out.
"Huh? What?" Liv asked snapping out her memories.
"It time to start training again." Danny said confuse.
"Yes, yes, right! Sorry." Liv said blushing.
Danny rise an eyebrow as Fred snicker. Henry gave a small smile as he shook his head.
'Ever after eight months, Danny is still clueless towards Liv feelings for him!' Fred thought.
'You better get a clue ready soon Danny, because there is only so much Liv could take from your clueless.' Henry also thought.
"Alright Guardians, suit up." X said making the four nod.
X watch them call their armors and enter the training room. For a brief moment X real body appear, showing that of a blue reploid with a "X" on it chest. It fade before anyone saw it.
Okay I'm really sorry for the long update. I got side tracked with other stories ideas and having some trouble remembering what I had plan for this story. I think the next chapter I will write will be a Thanksgiving chapter. It gonna be another Danny/Liv chapter as Liv invited Danny over to her family Thanksgiving. Maybe after that, I do a Henry/Jazz chapter. Due to how long it been for this story, I'm a bit rusty on it. I was about to explain their training and how Liv met Fred and Henry and how different they were eight months ago. Again I'm sorry for the long update and please review!
