Thanksgiving's Family
The cool wind blew through Amity Park taking some leaves with it. Amity Park was getting ready for one of the most well known holiday. Thanksgiving. Family would come to homes of their family members and spend time together. Liv walk through the school hallway smiling happily. She could not wait to see her family members again. But best of all, she was going to invite Danny! She could only imagine who it would go. Maybe she could finally tell Danny how she's feels. She was then stop by Dash who had a dorky lovey look on his face.
"Hey there babe. My parents are going out of town for Thanksgiving and I'm inviting everyone to my house to hangout." Dash said handing her a invite.
"And by everyone you mean just the A-Listers and rich people." Liv said knowing what Dash was really up to.
"Well yeah. Why would I invite the Freaks and Geeks?" Dash asked confuse.
"Forget it Dash. I already have plans for Thanksgiving. And you're not invited." Liv said tearing up the invited and started to walk away.
"Don't tell me you going to invited that loser Fenton towards your Thanksgiving." Dash scoff.
"Watch it Baxter! Danny is not a loser. He's a better man there you'll ever be." Liv said trying not to let Dash get on her nerves.
"Yeah whatever. When you finally ditch the loser, you're welcome to the A-Listers. " Dash said rolling his eyes.
"I'll more liking join Fred's group and still be friends with Danny then be a part of your group." Liv said and stomp away.
Liv sigh, she is really hoping she could be more than just friends with Danny. But she didn't want to come on to strong and scare him off. It wasn't long before she spotted Sam and Tucker. But she was a bit surprise to see that Danny wasn't with them.
"Hey Sam, hey Tucker." She said walking up to them.
"Hey Liv. How it going?" Tucker asked.
"Beside the fact Dash is trying to invite me to one of his A-Listers parties, good." Liv answer.
"Let me guess, you turn him down again." Sam asked smiling.
"You know it." Liv smile back.
Tucker chuckle and shook his head. Liv like those two. True, Tucker like to see himself as a lady man and Sam was a goth, but Liv find them way better friends then the A-Listers. She then asked the question that was on her mind.
"Hey guys, where Danny?" She asked.
"Not sure. He said there was something he had to take care of and rush off." Tucker answer.
'Something he had to take care of? It couldn't be a Maverick, the alarm didn't go off.' Liv thought confuse.
"Get back here Fenton!"
Danny was running through the hallway trying to get away from Dash. He had no idea why Dash was coming after him, but he knew there was no point on asking him.
"Geez if it not ghosts or Mavericks, it Dash that a pain." Danny mumble.
Danny turn around a corner and quickly stop. He run into a dead end and it was a bit dark due to the lights not working. He knew he was trap and Dash was going to be on him in a second.
"Alright Fenton it time to...Huh?" Dash started to say before stopping.
"Where did he go?" Dash asked confuse.
'Wait he can't see me?' Danny thought just as confuse.
He saw Dash walk towards him and move out of his way. Dash walk pass Danny as if he wasn't even there.
'Okay, that strange.' Danny thought.
"Where are you Fenton!" Dash yelled.
"Like I got to answer to you." Danny said out loud.
He quickly cover his mouth hoping Dash didn't hear that. To his surprise, Dash didn't seem to hear him.
"What the heck is going on?" Danny asked walking up to Dash and stood in front of him.
Dash didn't react to Danny and turn and walk away confusing Danny ever more.
"What the heck is going on here?!" Danny shouted.
"It appear that Armor of Shadows has given you a new ability."
Danny eyes widen as he heard X's voice.
"X? What going on and what do you mean a new ability?" Danny asked trying to find him.
"Don't bother trying to find me Danny. You are in a area known as the Shadow Realm." X said.
"Shadow Realm?" Danny asked confuse.
"Yes, it a realm that few know about. Due to the Armor of Shadows giving the user the control of shadows, you're were able to use the shadows as if you were part of them. But it appear you never did, so when the armor saw that you were trap, it gave you the ability to enter the Shadow Realm to hide from your bully." X explain.
Danny thought about it and believe it made sense. Still he was shock to hear his armor help him. He knew the armor was alive in away, but giving him ability that let's him travel to the Shadow realm?
"That's so cool! Hey if my armor can give me a ability, can't the others do the same?" Danny asked.
"It all matter when your friends learn of them." X said.
"Great, though I do got one question." Danny said.
"Yes?" X asked.
"This new ability is great and all, but um...HOW THE HECK DO I GET OUT OF HERE?!" Danny shouted making X laugh.
Liv started to look over the school for Danny hoping he was alright. She had learn that Dash had chase Danny again, trying to stop Danny from going towards her Thanksgiving Dinner. Fred was already looking for Dash to get him to stop and Henry told her that he'll pass the message went he sees him. Liv thought about invited them as well, but it turn they already had their own plans for Thanksgiving. Fred and his father was heading out of town to visit some of his family, meaning the Guardians was short one member for some time. Henry was going to stay in town with his mother to have Thanksgiving with her. Sadly, he couldn't invite any of his family because they live to far away and wasn't able to make in time.
That's made her think. She was going to invited Danny and forgot to asked if he had any Thanksgiving plans of his own! She felt so stupid not to think about that. Guess what they say is true, Love is Blind. She turn into another hallway and nearly ran into the boy she was looking for.
"Whoa! Liv! Sorry about that." Danny said stopping himself in time.
"Danny? Where were you? And how did you get away from Dash?" Liv asked, relief that Danny was okay.
"Get Henry and Fred. I got to share this with all of you!" Danny said excited.
A short time time later, Danny told his friends about the new ability he had and they were quite shock.
"You mean you can hide in the shadows?" Henry asked shock.
"Yeah, and it took a while to figure it out, but now I can enter the Shadow Realm at will. All I need is a shadow and I can enter the realm.' Danny said smiling.
"Wow, Danny. Remind me not to asked to play hide and seek with you, there no way we'll be able to find you." Fred said jokingly.
Danny chuckle and Liv smile. She likes it when Danny laughs. She shook her head, this was not the time.
"And you say our armors will give use abilities too?" She asked.
"Yeah, but I'm not sure what abilities you'll get. My armor has one ability, yours have two. " Danny said thinking.
"True, anyways, Liv don't you have something to asked Danny? Like maybe to asked him out on a date?" Fred smirk.
Liv face turn red as she turn and punch Fred on the shoulder as Danny look a little confuse.
"Shut up Fred!" Liv shouted trying to stop blushing.
Bad enough her parents been teasing her about her crush on Danny, she doesn't need Fred to make it any worse.
"I'm kidding! I'm kidding! I know what you want to asked him." Fred said rubbing his arm.
"Ask me what?" Danny asked confuse.
"Well, I'm having Thanksgiving with my family and they told me I can bring anyone I want and well...I was wondering...if you can c-c-c-come?" Liv shuttered.
Danny started to think on that. He never been invited to a girl house before, not counting Sam's because she was friend of his. He met Liv's parents and they were really nice. Plus, his parents never really had a Thanksgiving since they took up studying about ghosts.
"Sure, I don't have any plans I'll be glad to to see your family Liv." Danny smile.
Liv was quite shock to hear Danny say yes. She was trying very hard to not scream and hug Danny right then and there.
"Well, look like you are spending more time with your dream guy. Let us know how it goes, I'm sure it will be a great date for you." Fred tease.
Liv's face turn back to red at full force. She growl and turn to Fred who notices the look on her face.
"Well, um, I got to um, take care of something and um, I need to go now." Fred said sweating before running from Liv who chase right behind him.
"GET BACK HERE FIRESTORM!"
School let out, and Danny call his parents to let them know he was going over to Liv's house for Thanksgiving. The last time Danny been to Liv's house it was to pick her up for the school dance, this time, he was going to be at her house. He also knew Liv was rich and they might live in a mansion. But he finally got a better look at it...
"That's not a mansion, that a freaking castle!" Danny gasp.
Liv giggle at Danny reaction. Her parents brought the biggest mansion in Amity Park due to the amount of Maids, cooks and servants they had. All them where live in the Mansion with them due to most of them having no homes of their own and her parents were the type to let them stay, plus it Thanksgiving, they need all the help they could get. They walk up to the door and it open to show one of the Maids there.
"Welcome home Miss Whitewater." The Maid said.
"Thank you Georgia. Are my parents home?" Liv asked.
"Yes, they are in the Study Room." The Maid said.
Liv nodded and walk in. Danny stood there confuse before Liv reach over and pull him in. Danny eyes nearly pop out of sockets when he saw what he guess was the front room. The room look to be like a living room and dining room in one. He notices a chandelier from the ceiling that look to be made of crystal. He saw some stairs that led to the second floor and saw a picture of Whitewater family. He turn and saw the Kitchen and notices the amount of cooks and how big it was. He turn around and saw the Living Room. It was nearly as big as his and Jazz's rooms combine and it look bigger still.
"How did your parents afford all this?!" Danny said and that was just the first floor!
Liv giggle, it was a bit too much for her, but she was use to it. Seeing Danny face was priceless though. Liv snap him out and took him to the Study Room not far from them. When Danny enter the room it remind him of his parents lab only bigger and no sign of of ghost invitations anywhere.
"Ah, Livia! Welcome home." Victor said said walk up and hug it.
"Hi Dad. I brought someone over for Thanksgiving." Liv said hugging him back.
"Hi Mr. Whitewater." Danny wave.
"Please son call me Victor, a friend of my daughter is a friend of my family. After all you'll be joining it one day." Victor said smirking.
"DAD!" Liv shouted as she blush.
Victor laugh as Sally step up and started to look over Danny and taking his measurements. Danny stood there confuse and Liv was bit shock on the action.
"Mom, what are you doing?" Liv asked.
"Oh just something I want to check. He going to need a tux and I can tell he doesn't have have one. What's your favorite color?" Sally answer then asked Danny.
"Um, I mostly like blue, but I been liking the color purple as well." Danny said confuse.
Liv had no idea that Danny favorite color was blue. That was her favorite color too.
"I also need to make two. One for Thanksgiving tonight and another for your wedding day." Sally smirk.
"MOOOOOOOOM!" Liv shouted her face red once more.
Danny also blush, not sure what she was talking about.
Then the Study Room door was knock on and one of the Maids step in.
"Ah, Minnie! I need two tuxedos done before the family arrives. Make the purple one first and make the blue later." Sally said.
"Of course Mrs. Whitewater." The Maid said and took the paper.
Liv couldn't believe it! Her parents were embarrassing her in front of Danny. This one of the times she is glad that Danny was clueless of what was going on. She was afraid that her parents was going to scare him off and she lose him forever.
"Uh, anyone care to tell me what's going on?" Danny asked completely lost.
"Now do worry about it son. Now Liv why don't you take him to your room and spend some time together before the rest of family arrive." Victor said.
"And make sure you two don't try any funny business up there." Sally added.
"AUGH! YOU GUYS ARE UNBELIEVABLE!" Liv shouted and rush out of the Study Room with Danny following behind her, worry.
"You think we went to far?" Victor asked his wife.
"Maybe, but it always worth seeing our little Whitewater get so flushed." Sally giggle, feeling sorry for her daughter.
Liv ran towards her room and slam the door shut before grabbing her pillow and place her face in it and scream. Danny stood outside very worry for his friend. He had no idea what was going on back at the Study Room, but he could clearly see that Liv was becoming embarrass with her parents. Danny guess her family had a bit of a tease side towards Liv and Liv can only take so much oh it before she hit her limit. He knock on her door and waited.
"Liv? Are you okay?" Danny asked and got no answer.
"Liv? Is everything alright?" Danny said knocking on her door.
"No! I knew this was a bad idea!" Liv voice call out.
"What do you mean?" Danny asked.
He got no answer. He sigh and waited. It wasn't long before Liv open her bedroom door and invited Danny in.
"Listen Danny, I'm so sorry about my parents. They never done this before." Liv said as she sat on her bed.
Danny look around the room and listen to what Liv said.
"Don't worry about it. I was more worry about you." Danny said.
"You were?" Liv asked shock.
"Yeah, while I had no idea what they were doing, I could tell it was getting to you. And it was worse than Fred's teasing." Danny said.
Liv smile, she was hoping to tell Danny how she felt about him but after what happen she knew it was best to tell him when they were truly alone.
"Thanks for worry about me Danny. And I'll be fine." Liv said.
Danny smirk and look around her room once more.
"I see you like blue." Danny said.
"Yes, it my favorite color too." Liv smile.
Danny look shock for a second before he smile. The two spend time talking and getting some of their homework done. They also kept a ear out for the Maverick Alarm, but no attacks happens during their time. There was a knock on Liv's bedroom door and Liv open to let the Maid in that was holding Danny's new Tuxedo. Danny sigh and grab it before being led to a changing room as he can get ready for the Thanksgiving Dinner. Liv sigh and and close her door after he left. She hopes her parents doesn't embarrass her anymore tonight.
Liv walk down stairs in her new blue dress with Danny right beside her wearing his new purple tuxedo. The enter the Dining Room and Danny saw many different people that was part of Liv's family. At first he thought that all of Liv's family members were rich, but some of them were just normal people that had jobs he sees everyday. In fact, it look that some were even farmers!
Liv giggle and couldn't blame Danny. He had only know the rich side of the family.
"Hey Livia!"
Liv turn and saw one of the farmers girls walk up to her.
"Hi Claire." Liv smile.
"Howdy yourself." Claire smile back.
Claire turn and saw Danny who was still shock at the family members.
"Who that and what's his problem?" She asked Liv.
"Claire, this is Danny. A new friend I made when we move here. And he must be shock about my family." Liv giggle.
Danny finally snap out of his shock when a boy around his age step up.
"Trust me, your not the first person to see our family like this and I'm sure it you won't be the last." He said.
"Hi Matt." Liv smile.
"Hello Livia." Matt smile back.
"Um Liv?" Danny asked completely confuse.
"I know. Not everyone in my family is rich. It was because of my parents that our family name is put on the map. Some of my family are normal people that work normal jobs and some of us are farmers. You'll get use to it." Liv said.
"Hold on, did he call you Liv?" Claire asked.
"Yes, it my nickname. I been going by it for the whole time I been living here." Liv told them.
"If it the same with you, can we stick to call you Livia?" Matt asked.
Liv shrug, she knew not everyone would use her nickname plus their family.
"Sure, I don't mind." Liv smile.
"So how did you met this here Danny?" Claire asked.
Liv blush a little before telling them how she and Danny first met.
Victor and Sally turn and smile, seeing their daughter enjoying herself with her crush. The families caught up and sat down to eat the tuckey's that they bring. Danny sat next to Liv and her parents and waited his turn to get his food. After all he was a guest here. The family got ready to eat when the Maverick Alarm went off.
"OH COME ON!" Danny and Liv shouted.
"Can't they take a break for one day!" Danny complain as he got up.
"They really know how to ruin a family time!" Liv added.
While the rest of the family was a bit confuse, Victor and Sally sigh and stood up.
"Sorry everyone. But Amity Park is more open to Maverick Attacks, luckily the Hunters or the Four Guardians will deal with the threat. For now let's get to the bunkers. Liv, you and Danny..." Victor explain before turning to where his daughter and friend were only to find that they were gone.
Danny and Liv sneak out while Victor explain what was going on. They got outside and ran into a empty alley. After making sure no one could see them, they nodded and held up their watches.
"Armor of Water and Ice!"
"Armor of Shadows!"
Hidden Phantom and Fairy Leviathan rush out of the alley and spotted some of the Mavericks, In fact it look like Harpuia was already dealing with them. They join him and stood together.
"I take it they ruin your Thanksgiving too?" Phantom asked.
"More than you know." Harpuia said slashing a maverick.
"Tell us about it!" Leviathan growl slashing her own maverick.
"They ruin my Thanksgiving too!" Fefnir said punching a maverick away.
"Fefnir? We thought you left." Leviathan asked surprise.
"Never had the chance. We were just about to leave when the Maverick Alarm went off." He said.
"Wait, you mean you were just leaving before coming to help us?" Phantom asked.
"What and miss all the fun? No happening. And besides, I want this town to be standing when I get back." Fefnir said fire his big bluster.
The other Guardians nods and started to take care of the Mavericks. Once the last Maverick was taken care of the four sigh hoping that that will be the last of them for awhile.
"I will say this, destroying Mavericks is a great stress reliever." Leviathan said.
"After what you been though, You look like you need it." Phantom agree.
"What do you mean?" Fefnir asked.
"Oh no! I'm not telling you anything! I already been embarrass enough for one day thank you!" Leviathan shouted.
Fefnir and Harpuia stood there confuse, but deciding to drop it. They look up and notices the Hunters hada arrive.
"As late as ever." Fefnir scoff and the four run/flew off.
On a nearby build four people watch the Four Guardians retreated once the Hunters appear.
"Well, it appear that they are strong then we first thought." One of the Shadows said.
"Yes, Now you see that that having a Maverick attack was pointless." The Another Shadow said before stepping into the light.
"Sometimes even the pointless can be useful Vlad." Another shadow laugh.
"I know this a big shock to learn that two of them are really humans, are you sure you can handle this Ice Queen?" Vlad said.
Ice Queen step up now looking very much like a Reploid with a ice dress on her.
"So why Fairy Leviathan said she won't teach me, it was really Livia that said no." Ice Queen said feeling a bit sad.
"Ah, turn that frown upside down!" The shadow laugh.
"Come now Trick. She just learn about something and she needs times. And what about you King?" Vlad said before turning to the newest member.
A reploid step up looking and dress very much like a king of the old days.
"Livia. My queen is a reploid like me." he said.
"Not really Rick. It was like how I was. She just wearing armor that make her look like a reploid." Ice Queen said.
"Call me King. And Danny Fenton is mine. He stole my love from me and I will make him pay." King said.
Ice Queen roll her eyes, even after being turn into a Reploid, Rick still hasn't given up on winning Livia heart.
"I'm afraid learning the true identities of Sage Harpuia and Fighting Fefnir is going to take some time. For now, let's fall back and come up with a plan. Oh, and Sarah?" Vlad said before turning the Ice Queen.
"Yes, and don't call me Sarah." Ice Queen asked back and correct Vlad.
"Can you tell Weil I said thanks. He really knows how to please a old friend." Vlad smirk.
And that the Thanksgiving Chapter. And for those that might asked me "How did Sarah and Rick get turn from humans into reploids?" I will explain that in due time. I'm sure some of you might have been in the same place as Liv. Luckly, Danny was completely clueless on what Liv's parents were doing. So what did you think of Liv's family? Bet you thought all of them were rich people huh? It does feel good write this story again and I'm think about turn it into some seasons, maybe like third or four.
