Was I dead? But why was it cozy like a bed at the Apollo cabine?
That couldn´t be true...
"He wakes up..." a silent voice said and I opened my eyes carefully.
What was going on here?
"CONNOR!" Travis shouted happily and I looked at him puzzled.
"Where is she? What happened?" I asked silently because I couldn´t find my Dria...
Where was she?
"Con..." Travis murmured sadly.
I looked around and my eyes met Will´s.
"Dria isn´t here anymore... She chose your life over hers." Will told me desperately.
His clear blue eyes were full of unshed tears when he looked away as fast as possible.
I blinked confused. That wasn´t true! She wouldn´t choose my life over hers!
I told her not to do so!
Travis tried to comfort me but how could he? My sun was gone...
"No... She hadn´t!" I growled and jumped out of the bed.
I needed to see it with my own eyes...
But I was shaky.
My legs weren´t working properly.
Travis caught me and helped me stand but I wasn´t even thinking about my legs.
"Where is she?" I asked again.
"Con... She´s gone. Look outside. Are you seeing the sun?"
No, it was raining... Even inside the camp...
Apollo didn´t show the sun...
Tears burned in my eyes and I collapsed in the arms of my brother.
"No..." I whimpered silently.
"Dad took her with him. He won´t allow us to burn her body... He hadn´t showed the sun since her death. It´s over 3 days by now." Will told me silently and I shook my head.
"Why did he took her if not to bring her back?" "He isn´t the god of death, Connor! He isn´t able to save her. To bring her back... She is gone. Forever!" Will said forcefully and I shook my head.
"He can´t let her be dead..."
I couldn´t allow myself to think about her being dead.
She would come to me and smile at me soon.
I would pull her in my arms and kiss her again so she would chuckle like she always did...
Her cheeks would flush in this sweet tone I loved so much.
"She can´t be gone. She will come back. She wouldn´t leave me..." I told myself again and again.
Soon I would believe it.
I hoped so much that Apollo had a plan to safe her but I didn´t know how...
