~Artemis Pov~

Sadly I looked at my twin brother.

I never saw him suffering like this...

"You told me yourself that she made her own future." "But she needs a future to be made! She killed herself! She overused it!" he whispered silently and looked at the body laying in front of us.

"Mortal children are dying all the time, Apollo. It´s natural. Let her go." "I won´t! It wasn´t natural! We need her to recover and I know how to do it. She was mortal but I am not. So I will give her my immortality." He told me but how could he?

"No! Are you insane?! It will kill you!" "I lived. She hadn´t. Sister, please, I need you to understand it." He begged but how could I understand that!?

"Apollo, that´s crazy! You will make her a goddess but you will be mortal after all!"

He looked at me with such a firm gaze.

I knew how much he loved her but he would dye!

"It´ll kill you, brother." "I know, baby sis, but she is my girl. She needs to be alive... Look at her, Artemis. Had she a life after all? Didn´t you wished her a better life? You liked her as well." he told me sternly and I dropped my gaze.

I liked her a lot but I wouldn´t allow him to give his life.

"I saw you suffer a lot in our life but you never had such an idiotic idea, Brother! How do you think to explain it to Zeus?! He will never allow it! She just was a mortal. You´ll have more children but please don´t do such a stupid thing." "You will never understand it, will you? You will always let your girls go without even being sad but I loved her." Apollo growled and stood up again.

It was the first time he moved since 3 days.

"I won´t let you do this." I told him and screamed by surprise, when somebody put me aside.

"She is right, Apollo. It is a stupid idea if you think I would allow you to do it by yourself." Hermes told him with a soft glance and I shook my head.

"Both of you are insane! I will tell Father to..." "To what?! To seal the last abilities I have? He can have them! All of them! HE KILLED MY DAUGHTER, ARTEMIS!" Apollo snapped at me and I blinked at him horrified.

"I don´t want to loose you, Brother..." I whispered and looked at him defenseless.

I knew exactly what Dria felt after loosing Micha because I would feel it if Apollo would disappear.

"I need to do something. It´s not only me who suffers, is it? Connor isn´t himself anymore. My sons aren´t themselves..." "But..." "I don´t need you to allow me this but I want you to understand me. My chances are becoming smaller every minute, baby sis. I need to try it now! Please call the other gods." he told me softly and I sighed.

"I don´t want to hate myself afterward, Sunny." I said silently and moved on.

I called them all and waited until Hermes and Apollo came in with Dria on my brothers arms.

"Don´t tell me we are here to discuss about your daughter." Zeus said unfriendly and he growled at him.

"Exactly we are here to discuss me." My brother told them and I dropped my gaze on the ground.

It would kill him...

I wasn´t able to stand his gaze.

"What do you mean?" Athene asked curiously and he sighed.

"I will give her my immortality." "It will kill you, you stupid boy!" Ares told him firmly and he smiled dryly.

"He wouldn´t do it alone. I will help him." Hermes told him and I sighed silently.

"And me too." I said shyly, smiled carefully at my brother.

"No, she is just a mortal!" "She is at my power level!"

"She isn´t and you know it." "But nearly my level. There isn´t a lot of space in between us!"

Apollo became more and more desperate...

"Please, Father! Don´t do this to him!" I told him angrily but Hermes signed me to stay quiet.

"He hasn´t to give his whole power, Zeus. She isn´t dead yet. She would be if she were a normal girl but she is stronger than most of his children. She only is sleeping by now and she could maybe wake up but not without a little risk." Thanatos told Zeus when he appeared suddenly inside this room.

"What kind of risk?" "It could cost you your immortality. You could become a half blood,Apollo. But only you can help her. It´s your power that´s needed. Your choice. You need to decide now because I can´t hold her in this sleep forever." He explained firmly and my brother looked at his baby girl.

"I don´t want to loose her. She has to live." Apollo mumbled and nodded to Thanatos who sighed silently.

"Remember I warned you."

"Father, please. You have to allow me saving her." Apollo asked Zeus silently and he looked around in disbelieve.

"One of a million and you treasure her this much? By all thunders do it! But I won´t help you, Apollo! And nobody else will either!" Zeus told him firmly and my brother nodded carefully, knelt next to his little girl.

"As long as she will be able to laugh again I will be happy." Apollo said with a soft voice I hadn´t heart a long time..

Thanatos nodded and both started glowing in this so typical golden light my brother called his own.

His normally golden eyes were green glowing like when he was telling the future...

Adriana caught her breath and whimpered silently.

Then my brother became unconscious and lay next to her without the smallest sign of movement...

"Apollo!"

I knelt beside him and tried to wake him up, but he was unconscious and wouldn´t wake up the next minutes.

"I´ll take them." Thanatos told us and both, my brother and my niece were gone the next second...

"What will happen with them?" "Don´t know yet. I have to check on them now." Thanatos answered and I sighed silently.

My brother was stupid but I understood this.

"Take good care of them please."

He nodded and disappeared as well.

I looked at my father and turned around.

"Artemis!" Hermes called after me and I waited for him.

"What´s wrong?"

Hermes looked at me worried.

"Don´t be mad at Zeus. You see what it will earn you. We have to take care of his children until he can do it on his own again." He told me and I nodded sighing.

I never wanted that to happen but we would make the best out of it.
