"Finn.." (Y/n) murmured, her head tucked into her boyfriend's neck. Said boyfriend's attention turned to her then, his hand moving to rub slow circles on her thigh.
"Hmmm?" he replied in a sleepy voice, head moving down to lean on hers. (Y/n)'s heart fluttered.
"What're," she sighed. "What're we doin' today?" Her words were slurred, and Finn chuckled groggily at them.
"I dunno," he yawned, then his face turned to bury itself into her hair. "Probs nothing." He kissed her head.
"Nothing?" She replied. "You always have plans."
"Yeah, but no one needs anything right now. Jake is even at Lady Rainicorn's. It's just," he yawned again. "It's just you and me today."
There was silence after that, both of them silently agreeing that a day long break was in order. One of lazy cuddling, lazy eating gross foods, and lazy everything else.
(Y/n) hummed in content, leaning further into the blonde hero's body. He was very warm.
"Mm, sounds like my kind of day," she said with a smile that required little to no energy.
Finn's arms tightened around his girlfriend's body, and a smile grew on his lips too. It was nice to take a break every once in a while. There were no princesses to save. No monsters to fight, and, as much as he loved him, no Jake. Just him and his princess.
They sat there on the couch in their pajamas, bodies close, legs intertwined, and simply listening to the sounds of day as they dozed off with each other in their dreams.
