Now that he and Chat Noir are best friends, Nino's found things have changed between him and Ladybug.

Hawkmoth needs Ladybug and Chat Noir to continue to be heroes if he is to ever get his hands on their miraculous. So clearly, setting up picnic baskets and blanket piles for them is all in the name of the larger goal. There is no flaw in this logic.

"We can't tell you, it's a secret!" Rose said excitedly, turning back and whispering to Mylene, leaving Nino as the only one who saw the look of raw devastation cross Adrien's face.

Also, one of them is a model - a really gorgeous model called Adrien Agreste. You'd think that'd be more than enough to cope with on top of her first year of uni, but no, now there's a bug-thing in her room saying something about magical earrings...

In this story, the two of them meet for the first time as adults while on vacation and form an instantaneous connection. While they explore the depth of that connection and their feelings for each other, they are also doing their best to cope with trauma -both past and present. Very much Lukanette pairing, as always.
