Chapter 65: Calm Before the Storm
(A/N: Sorry for the hiatus, I've been very busy throughout the second half of 2016 and boy was there a lot of uncertainty going on within the later half of the year. I'm not going to go into details considering the polarizing nature regarding 2016 and considering how diverse personality wise and politically my followers and allies are, I'm not going to disclose my political beliefs within this fan fiction, if you wish to see my actual beliefs, check out my Tumblr blog. Anyways whether you like the direction of where America is going or not, whether you think 2016 is the worst year or not, one thing we can all hope for is that 2017 is a better year and I will try my damnest to get more done this year with this fan fic.
I spent a good amount of time retconning and editing some old chapters to make the narrative flow better and to update some information that wasn't previously available at the time the chapters were originally written. Here's the list of the retcons made for the first Arc of Bleach Shippuden.
Chapter 1:Looking back at the actual Bleach Plotline, it makes no sense that Shinji met Ichigo on September 2, 2001 considering that day is Sunday so to fix this problem with continuity, Ichigo's semester would begin on September 3, 2001 which falls on a Monday in the same year and put Shinji's introduction within the same day instead of the following day and put the Arrancar attack with Yammy and Ulquiorra on Tuesday September 4,2001. The same with the Grand Fisher Battle around June 17, 2001 which fell on a Sunday that year which is a continuity error given there wouldn't be any school Ichigo wouldn't need to skip out on if Bleach's storyline continuity is supposed to take place within the year 2001 A.D. Not many changes here aside from improving grammar here and a bit more explanation of how Fu became a rampaging Hollow
Chapter 3: Minor retcon I've retconned Hitsugaya's Bankai, Originally the temperatures of Hyōrinmaru are absolute zero, It's temperature is −273.15 °C (−459.67°F ).This has been retconned due to Rukia's Bankai being that cold, instead, Hitsugaya's Bankai would be as cold as Liquid nitrogen (−195.79 °C (77 K; −320 °F)
Chapter 5: After watching the Naruto Footsteps Arc, I decided to retcon some of the characters from the arc that stood out, mainly Ameno, Saya and Shria given they seem to be interesting characters who would make for some decent characters to use for battles and development within the future. I also gave Baki a bit more development and Haku's mother some implied badassery and made the Third Mizukage the founder of the Yuki Clan and the Second Kazekage Shamon Chikamatsu was a puppetmaster and brother of the original puppetmaster Monzaemon Chikamatsu, Chiyo's father.
Chapter 11: Power levels have been updated to current RYK levels, Sakura and Rukia's extended flashback scenes prior to the final collision are added and Sakura's 100 Healings Jutsu retcon added.
Chapter 13-14: Ameno assists Baki within the battle against Hollow Kankuro
Chapter 15: The largest retcon within the arc, the Naruto Footsteps Arc is within Sakura's flashback in her near death experience. The Original plot which was my take on the Chunin Exams which had Neji winning the torumeant from Temari have been completely replaced by the events within Naruto Footsteps Arc.
Chapter 16: Chiyo's flashback remains mostly unchanged with a few exceptions. Hashirama was originally supposed to die sometime between 59 to 58 years ago and the Second Hokage dies shortly after 58 years to present time however given canon has Hashirama know Tsunade up until she's a toddler, he lives up to when Tsunade turns 4 until he dies in a proxy war trying to protect peace, Tobirama becomes Hokage for 3 years before he meets his fate 47 years into the present. Another change is Karura's character and backstory is given a bit more depth here in her brief screentime and her original line which expressed hated for Sunakagure was returned to her love for Gaara after updates from canon however unlike canon, I have her as the previous Jinchruiki of the Shukaku after Bukupu because I have a thing for strong women. Bukupu is also mentioned briefly here whereas he didn't exist when this was written. Chiyo's son Ohako also used his mother's Kinjutsu to save the Second Kazekage's life from the White Fang at the cost of his life, this was really to cover a typo I made originally implied he died both 30 years ago and 26 years ago when I originally intended him to die 26 years into the present .)

Monday October 29,2001 6:00 A.M.
Ichigo wakes up within his room within his human body. It has been an entire month since Ichigo has been within his own bed. Last time he had a proper rest within the confront of his bed was when Orihime was cuddling her nude body with his own. It was that very same day she was kidnapped by the Akatsuki and when Karakura Town has nearly destroyed along within nearly all of Japan. Since that day and his failed attempt to rescue Orihime, Ichigo has trained himself to become stronger than ever. The last Month has not been kind to him at all, having to go through life threatening training and nearly destroying his body in the process more times than he can count. Kon has been taking Ichigo's place within his human life for the last month, ever since Ichigo had surgery on Saketsu (鎖結, Binding Chain) and Hakusui (魄睡, Soul Sleep) as well as his entire Reitekina Junkankei( 霊的な循環系、Spiritual Circulatory System ) that took damage from his battle with Naruto 5 weeks prior.
Ichigo rests comfortably within his body...Well for a while before the usual routine occurs.
"GOOD MORNING ICHIGO!" Isshin shouted as he jumps on a tambourine and jumps through the window to attempt to dropkick Ichigo.
"I'm so not in the mood for this!" Ichigo replied as he nonchalantly hits Isshin in the face which hits him into the wall kicking him out and damaging the plaster within the wall causing a rumble within the house waking Kon.
"EARTHQUAKE!" Kon shouted as he jumps out frightened at the small rumble.
"Crap, I didn't mean to do that! Dad wake up! DAD!" Ichigo shouted as he rushes towards his dad who is knocked out cold.
Yuzu and Karin rush upstairs to see their father comically knocked out.
"DAD, WHAT HAPPENED?" Yuzu shouted as she checks up on dad.
"Seriously, why does he do this every morning?" Karin asked with a dumbfounded look on his face as leaves the room.
"It was an accident, I didn't mean to hit him so again what idiotic father attacks his son to wake him up? "Ichigo shouted as Karin returns with a bucket of water and dumps it on Isshin's face.
"Whoa, man so have you been hitting the gym? You look more muscular than I remembered. Man, my old bones can't keep up with anymore." Isshin said to Ichigo when Ichigo notices that his body mass has grown marginally more than a month ago.
"It's just now I noticed! I guess hanging with Chad would do that!"Ichigo replied.
"Well that's the last time we do our routine, I need to prepare breakfast and get some rest from this headache. Let's leave him alone for some private time."Isshin said to his son and daughters as him Yuzu and Karin leave Ichigo's room.
Ichigo rushes to the mirror to notice that his already muscular body has grown a bit more muscular and he gained 2 inches to his height and his hair has lengthened slightly.
"What the hell happened to me? I wasn't like this when I came to bed earlier." Ichigo said to himself.
"Looks like someone has gotten a bit stronger." said a distant voice only for Yoruichi to appear from his window.
"Yoruichi what are you doing here?" Ichigo asked the dark-skinned former Captain.
"Was going to give you a nice rundown of all the things you missed within a month when I saw you nearly killed your father."Yoruichi answered with a sarcastic remark.
"This isn't funny, how did I become like this?" Ichigo asked her.
"Simple, the power within your body has accelerated your mass within your body to grow in order to maintain physical bond with your soul. In short, all the months worth of training you did with Kensei and the Vizards transferred into your body in the form of enhanced physical strength. It also helps that Kon has inhabited that body for a month and let's just say you don't have to worry about being mugged. The reflexes and skill you acquired as a Shinigami would compensate greatly with you're already above average physical strength." Yoruichi explained to Ichigo.
"So you're saying my body is still leaking spiritual energy even after all this training?" Ichigo asked her.
"It's a sign of how much you've improved within your Shinigami state. It's very rare a human achieves such a high level of power." Yoruichi answered.
"How long are you going to watch over me?" Ichigo asked the former Captain.
"After what happened over a month ago, Yamamoto has ordered me to stay on watch over you to make sure you don't do anything stupid or reckless and to protect you from anyone abducting you. Don't worry, I'll leave you alone during school hours." Yoruichi explained to Ichigo.
"You really don't trust me alone, do you? Hey, you wouldn't be peeking at me in the showers right?" Ichigo stated with a scowl on his face.
"You have quite the Bankai, no wonder Orihime was pleased. Perhaps I can give it a bit of a polish and test ride." Yoruichi stated teasing Ichigo.
"That's not funny, I'm only for Orihime and Orihime only!" Ichigo replied shouting at the former Captain.
"Man I'm joking, lighten up. Besides, there's no shame in some netorate. The mangas I read contain an older woman sleeping with as many guys as possible without her husband knowing, hell some even involve the husband watching and fapping." Yoruichi stated with a devilish grin.
"Cut it out! I don't want to hear any more of your perverted fantasies." Ichigo shouted only to see Yoruichi behind him feeling on his chest and slowly reaching her hand lower.
"My most favorite erotic mangas involve an older, experienced woman preying on a younger, inexperienced man with a fine muscular body." Yoruichi smiled as she licks Ichigo's face.
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Ichigo shouted as he punches Yoruichi in the face but she doesn't flinch.
"Boy Ichigo, I was just kidding. Man, you really love Orihime don't you?" Yoruichi said to Ichigo.
"I do, we just made love the morning before she's abducted. I can barely sleep without her, I keep waking up in cold sweats during the night worried about how she's doing. If she's even herself anymore. What if she's..." Ichigo said to Yoruichi worried about Orihime's condition.
"I know what you're thinking. I doubt Aizen is doing anything bad to her. In fact, he has nothing to gain abusing Orihime, Orihime's powers only work at their best when Orihime is happy and content. Besides Aizen isn't the type to rape or abuse people." Yoruichi explained to Ichigo.
"Still some of his minions are pretty crude and thug-like." Ichigo stated thinking about Ninorta.
"True but I doubt they're foolish to go against Aizen's orders. Ichigo don't worry about Orihime, worry about getting stronger." Yoruichi replied as she hugs him close.
"You have a point, still I'm worried about this increased strength of mines in my human body." Ichigo said to the former captain.
"It looks like you already adjusted to it when you punched me." Yoruichi replied.
"What do you mean?" Ichigo asked.
"Punch that wall there." Yoruichi said to Ichigo.
"Fine." Ichigo replied as he punches the wall but the wall doesn't flinch.
"Seems like that lack of control is based on your emotional state. Try not getting into any fights or getting angry, don't need you accidentally killing people now." Yoruichi said to Ichigo.
"Don't worry, I intend to stay way from conflict together." Ichigo replied as he heads to the bathroom.
"You don't mind if I go in with you?"Yoruichi asked with a perverted smirk.
"No, you can't go in!" Ichigo replied with a prudish scowl as he closes the door on her.
"Seriously, he's such a prude." Yoruichi said to herself.
"Looks like my son has gotten alot stronger. Also, I would love to take up an offer if a woman asked me too." Isshin said to Yoruichi as he negates his Bakudō #26. Kyokko.
"Hiding in plain sight all this time? How did you manage to slip past Ichigo's sensory abilities?" Yoruichi asked Isshin.
"While you distracted Ichigo with your conversation, I quickly switched out of my Gigal and used Bakudō #26 the second I left the body to mask my presence."Isshin explained to Yoruichi.
"I must admit, that's surprisingly fast for you. You're not much known for your speed Isshin." Yoruichi stated.
"I haven't been entirely slacking in my training. Ever since I got my power back recently, I've been working out a bit when the kids are gone." Isshin replied.
"How long do you intend to lie to your own son?"Yoruichi asked.
"My son is still green. Like I said before, he's not ready to know the truth yet, especially when he doesn't suspect me being in plain sight." Isshin answered.
"So you heard about the Invasion about to happen? What's taking Ikumi so long to gather evidence?" Yoruichi asked Isshin.
"It's not easy going undetected in the Shinobi World. You should know yourself. You only were fortunate to breach one village during peacetime. Ikumi has to go across all 5 Shinobi Nations to gather enough evidence and has to do it without using Senkaimons or Shunpo which would give her away as a Shinigami instantly. It takes 3 days on foot to get from Konoha to Sunakagure alone without using Shunpo, imagine crossing the entire Shinobi Continent while the entire continent is under Martial Law?" Isshin explained to Yoruichi.
"So how far did you get with evidence?" Yoruichi questioned the former Squad 10 Captain.
"So far we have uncovered evidence of Arrancars appearing within different parts of the Shinobi World abducting Bjuus and trying to frame it on the Gotei 13 but all we have is pictures. Ikumi is currently within Konoha but it's not been very easy for her. We're hoping we can find enough evidence before they launch their attacks. That was the last place Aizen's Arrancars attacked and according to some intel Ikumi gathered, the same day Karakura Town was attacked." Isshin explained to Yoruichi.
"So my hunch and Kisuke's hunch are right, this was all a giant setup. We got to stop this right now." Yoruichi stated.
"You know Yamamoto isn't going to listen unless we have the hard evidence. Fortunately, it shouldn't take more than a few more hours to gather intel. Ikumi is in the Konoha Library and looking through the archives of information. Gong by our intel, it should take up to 12:00 Noon for this Naruto kid to arrive and the Invasion would begin between 1:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M. Ikumi is looking through the intel as fast as possible. We have at least 6 hours left. Ikumi is our only hope for this cease-fire to end." Isshin explained to Yoruichi.
"Let's hope she finds something big. Frankly, at this point, Ichigo is not ready for war, especially not on this scale." Yoruichi stated.
"Question. Why are you having me and Ikumi do the dirty intelligence work? Isn't espionage more of your forte?" Isshin asked Yoruichi.
"Because Kisuke is busy working on a plan at the moment and I'm in the midst of training a new student amongst our ranks." Yoruichi answered.
"New student ?"Isshin asked.
"Me and Kisuke are working on several plans to end this war " Yoruichi replied.
"What about the new student ?" Isshin asked.
Sorry Isshin but that's classified at the moment." Yoruichi answered.
"What games is Kisuke playing again? It's bad enough he got my son involved in this. What other illegal matters has he done this time?" Isshin questioned the former Captain.
"Trust me, it's nothing that would violate the Geneva Conventions, not like the Soul Society cares eitherway, but you know how Old Man Yamamoto feels about even the smallest rule broken." Yoruichi explained to Isshin.
"He's always been a blowhard. Anyways You should get going, you should go to Kisuke's shop and wait for Ikumi to give you the signal. When she gains the intel needed to end the conflict, you are to rush to her side and get her out of there and rush to Yamamoto immediately and convince him of a cease-fire and then head to the Supreme Commander of the Allied Shinobi Forces and convince him to call off the war." Isshin explained to Yoruichi.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure we get the info as fast as possible." Yoruichi stated as she uses Shunpo to leave.
"I should get back to my family, they need me." Isshin replied as he uses Shunpo to leave and head back to his Gigal cooking in the Kitchen while Ichigo is in the shower and while Karin and Yuzu are in their rooms.
Meanwhile, Ichigo is in the shower thinking about Orihime.
"Orihime, I hope you're doing fine out there."Ichigo said to himself as he soaps up his body thinking about his lover.
Meanwhile at Las Noches
Orihime is waking up in the comfort of her bedroom. Orihime is in a very posh looking room that is over 50 feet wide and looks like the room of a Disney Princess including a queen sized bed. Keeping to his word, Aizen has provided Orihime with things to make her happy and made sure no harm has come to her. She looks at her mirror which is as wide and large as her body to look at herself in the mirror.
"Ichigo, I miss you greatly. I want to help all of humanity with my powers...however, it's not without bloodshed. Hopefully, there's a better way to do this and you can help me Ichigo." Orihime said to herself with a solemn tone as she walks towards the shower.
After 20 minutes in the shower. Orihime gets out of the shower and dries up her body with her pink towel. She then puts on her white Arrancar uniform and then brushes her hair to make it straight and smooth.
Itachi then comes into the room in place of Ulquiorra who is gone searching for Neliel.
"Morning Inoue."Itachi said to Orihime with his usual stoic tone.
"Morning Itachi."Orihime replied who is also stoic from her prolonged time in Las Noches.
"It's time for your usual training protocol." Itachi said to Orihime.
"Coming!" Orihime replied as she walks with Itachi.
Menoly and Loly walk into Orihime's room with Itachi wondering how Orihime is doing.
"How's our best friend doing?" Loly asked Orihime happily as she hugs Orihime.
"I'm doing fine Loly." Orihime replied hugging her close to her large breasts.
"I'm so jealous of you Orihime, you have such ridiculously big breast." Menoly said to Orihime pointing at her large 93G boobs.
"It's not all that great, these things are very heavy and hurt your back." Orihime replied with her more usual goofy tone.
"So Itachi after you're done training Orihime, perhaps you can train me." Loly said to Itachi with a seductive tone clutching onto his right hand with flirtatious eyes.
"Aizen has told me that only I can train Orihime. You need to ask Aizen about that." Itachi replied with a stoic tone, completely unfazed by Loly's blatant flirting.
"Let's get to training." Orihime said to Itachi as they both walk out of the room.
"You really been crushing over this Itachi guy haven't you Loly?" Menoly asked her.
"He's as dreamy as Aizen. I would totally want him in bed with me." Loly answered with a perverted smile with blood coming out of her nose.
"But who do you want more?" Menoly asked with a trollish grin.
"That's a tough one, I would honestly prefer the two of them in a threesome with me while making out with each other. Throw in Sasuke and I would be in heaven." Loly answered with a very perverted grin thinking about three men making out with each other while she watches and then surrounding her.
"You are aware Itachi and Sasuke are brothers right?" Menoly asked her friend disturbed about the fact Loly is fantasizing about two brothers making out.
"I know, I don't care. It would be hot wouldn't it?" Loly replied with a lustful grin.
"You read way too much Yaoi mangas." Menoly responded with a disgusted look on her face.
Meanwhile, Aizen observes everything going on within Las Noches on his computer screen near his throne room when Gin and Tousen arrive.
"Looks like everything is going nicely according to plan."Aizen said to his subordinates with his usual calm tone.
"Thanks to Tousen, we were able to convince the Hokage and Raikage to change the date of the invasion from 12:00 P.M. to 10:00 A.M. using our disguises you gave us." Gin explained to Aizen.
"They didn't suspect a thing! "Tousen replied.
"Isshin has a nasty habit of sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, I figure he might attempt to foil my hard work if he's given 2 extra hours to plot against me."Aizen calmly said to the two of his subordinates.
"We also got rid of the remaining evidence incriminating us with the crimes within Konoha, by the time his stool pigeon finds it, all she would find is ashes of the former documents." Gin stated with a sinister grin.
"That means the one place she has to go to is the destroyed former Akatsuki hideout, something that would take 3 days to reach without bringing a high profile to herself. By the time she reaches the evidence and attempts to deliver it to the Soul Society and attempts to stop the war, it would be far too late. However, it would be foolish for me to leave her alive given how close she came to exposing me 21 years ago. "Aizen explained to the group.
"I always told you that Ikumi was suspicious Aizen, after all, another student of Yoruichi suddenly joining your squad under a different name was very suspicious. You should've had me kill her from the start and save us a headache."Gin stated.
"I didn't think she was much of a problem, in fact, I thought I can mold her to my own desires however I've underestimated her skills. Now that I have no further use for her, she needs to go away permanently before she undermines our operation."Aizen explained to the both of them.
"Let us be the ones to dispose of her."Tousen asked begging to be the one to hunt her down.
"We'll make sure that there's nothing left of her." Gin replied.
"Neither of you with your current state are strong enough to beat her. Good thing I know someone who can take her out easy, isn't that right Itachi." Aizen explained to the two of them as Itachi walks out of the shadows after Aizen's last sentence.
"Leave the rat to me!" Itachi said to Aizen with his usual stoic voice as his clone disappears.
"I didn't even see him coming!" Tousen stated dumbfounded of not even sensing Itachi's clone there.
"Ah Tousen, you can't see at all!" Gin replied.
Meanwhile at Sunakagure
Temari is starting at the sunrise with Kankurō as they're seeing Sunakagure Shinobi forces starting to get organized.
"So ready to do this?" Temari asked.
"We're finally going to get Gaara back." Kankurō answered.
"How are you holding out regarding that virus?" Temari questioned her younger brother.
"I'm still having problems managing it, I'm not sure if I can honestly continue being a Shinobi. This virus is like a monster trying to consume me, no matter how much vaccines I'm given, I can't stop it from spreading across my body."
"So even with Sakura and Tsunade's medical efforts, the virus isn't fully going away? Should you even be fighting? You can be a risk to the mission?" Temari asked her brother.
"Ameno states that as long as I take these vaccine shots, I can suppress this long enough. This is going to be my last mission as a Shinobi, I can't just sit here and do nothing while my brother needs my help. " Kankurō answered.
"Just don't do anything too reckless okay." Temari stated.
"Trust me, I don't intend to fight that much, after all, I have my puppets to fight for me. Besides Ameno would be my personal medic, making sure I get a shot to prevent that virus fro overtaking me again. When we regroup with Sakura's team, I might ask for her to look more into this virus." Kankurō replied as he puts on his face paint.
Meanwhile at the 6th Division Barracks
Rukia is with Renji in the bedroom having woken up late at Renji's bedside within his room within Squad 6 Barracks. Both of them put on their clothes and prepare for the upcoming war.
"So the enemy is coming towards us?" Renji asked Rukia.
"Yep, it's been 300 years since the Seireitei was directly invaded by Ryoka and over 1,000 years since a massive army invaded the Soul Society going by the history books." Rukia answered explaining the history of the Soul Society.
"We barely survived our invasion into Konoha and that was just one of the 5 Shinobi Nations, we're in serious trouble if we have to fight 4 more nations that powerful." Renji stated.
"Don't forget that the Teniten 7 would be on full display and full force, there's no way the Shinobi can beat us with our numbers, besides if the worst happens, we have 7 Captain Commanders strong enough to defend us from anything they can throw at us."Rukia stated.
"You have a point. We should get ready for the Captains meeting and Vice Captains meeting soon."Renji replied as he and Rukia head out.
"Don't worry, we will win, especially with you help Ichigo."Rukia said to herself.
Mount Myōboku
7:00 A.M.
Naruto and Hinata rest within bedroom within a hut within Mount Myōboku after confessing their love and expressing their love last night. Naruto and Hinata put on their clothes after waking up.
"That was incredible Naruto." Hinata said to Naruto as she puts on her bra.
"Tell me about it, this is better than how the books Pervy Sage made me read." Naruto replied as he puts on his underwear, his happiness then turns into solemnity as he thinks about the death of his sensei.
"Don't worry Naruto, Jiraiya's death won't go in vain. We will defeat the Soul Society together and then get payback on the man who killed your sensei. They'll pay for hurting you, hurting your sensei and hurting the village." Hinata said to Naruto with her own serious look on her face.
"Let's hope our training pays off, because what I've bee told, there are people even stronger than the ones who killed Jiraiya-sensei within the Soul Society itself." Naruto replied nervously about whether he can prevail against overwhelming odds.
"I'm sure everything we taught you would pay off around the end." Shima said to Naruto as she appears with her husband.
"Still I feel like I could've learned so much more within this time. I can only hold my Sage Mode for 5 minutes at a time and with 3 clone clones on reserve, I doubt I can really pull this off against so many enemies." Naruto said to Fukasaku doubting his abilities.
"You forget you're not alone here Naruto. The entire allied Shinobi forces would be aiding you as well, we can win this war."Fukasaku said to Naruto.
" Still what if we fail? Jiraiya-sensei back when he was alive used to tell me about his war stories, how many people close to him died within the war, how blood and violent the wars are. I've never experienced war before, Jiraiya-sensei, on the other hand, lived through two wars and fought two wars and Pervy Sage told me about how he came close to dying in these wars. I don't know if I can protect my friends, I don't know if i..." Naruto explained to only to get slapped across the face by Hinata.
"You know why Jiraiya sacrificed his life? It was to protect you Naruto..Because you're the hope of the Ninja words, you're beliefs, they're not a lie. You can protect them. Jiraiya Sensei was a great man who fought for peace in the Ninia World, you're the only one who can carry out his dying will. Let's stand together Naruto, together we can help put an end to this war, for that's part of my Ninja Way too. " Hinata said to Naruto as she grabs him and kisses him.
"It seems Naruto Boy and Hinata Girl have bonded nicely last night." Shima said to the two causing them to blush.
"DON'T TELL ME YOU GUYS WERE WATCHING?" Naruto shouted, embarrassed that his privacy was violated.
"No, it's more like you guys were so loud that it was impossible not to hear you." Fukasaku replied.
"Ah...That's embarrassing! "Hinata replied with a bright red blush on her face.
"Anyways now that we did our sparring exercises, it's time for breakfast."Fukasaku said to the two of them.

Southern Hueco Mundo
Sasuke is in the 4th part of the hellish landscape sleeping within a water dome created by Sugiestu. He's spent weeks traversing through the hellish flames and heat of the southern quadrant of Huceo Mundo with Karin, Sugiestu and Jugo. They're now within the 4th part of their trial sleeping within a large waterdome Sugiestu created.
They're over 2,000 miles from the border between Central Huceo Mundo and Southern Huceo Mundo, the temperature is 475 °F, akin to an Oven on very high and air pressure is 8 times denser. Sasuke walks outside with sweat coming from his head but maintains his calm, cool resolve throughout the intense heat and air pressure. The area around them is a dark red sky with black ash clouds coming from the many volcanoes surrounding them with barely anything around them.
"Man, it's hot as balls out here Sasuke. It's a miracle the water dome was even able to hold up this long against the intense heat. "Sugiestu said to Sasuke as he sweats purposely from the heat.
"It's because you've gotten stronger and adapted to this place. Had not for your Chakra reinforcing the water dome, neither of us would be able to sleep in this intense heat." Sasuke explained to Sugiestu while sweat drips down his head.
"The sooner we're out of here, the better." Karin stated notably the most exhausted of everyone here sipping on a water bottle trying to stay hydrated.
"We got company people." Jugo replied as he turns his hand into a claw and punches the head off of Adjuchas trying to sneak attack them.
5 Adjuchas then surround Sasuke and the team which resembles golem like monsters with lava seemingly dripping from their skin. The Adjuchas charges towards the group but Jugo appears in front of the monster and punches the head off of the creature, however, the creature regenerates it's missing head from the surrounding lava around it
"Careful, they can coat themselves in Lava and can regenerate. They also get stronger the more they regenerate."Sasuke explained to his comrades.
"How do you know that for sure?"Sugiestu asked wondering how Sasuke knows.
"Aizen briefed me about the creatures here so far. Level 4 contain powerful Aidjcuhas that regenerate from heat and fire, needless to say, explosives and fire attacks are useless against them."Sasuke explained to Suigestu as the Lava Adjuchas come at the team.
"Any reason Aizen hasn't made them into Arrancar? They're quite tough." Sugiestu asked.
"Because while they're much stronger than a normal Adjuchas, they're no less mindless than a Gillian level Menos. Aizen is someone who would rather have loyal minions under his belt than mindless monsters that might try to turn on him, he's a man who takes little risks." Sasuke explained to Suigestu.
One Adjuchas shoots s blast of lava towards Sasuke but Sasuke easily dodges out of the way. A second one attempts to flank him from Behind but Sasuke intercepts the creature and slashes it in half with ease, a third one comes towards Sasuke but gets decapitated and a fourth one tries to attack Sasuke with a fireball but Sasuke deflects the fireball back with his sword and cuts the Adjuchas in half horizontally.
"Man Sasuke is so awesome!"Karin said to herself fangirling unaware of a 5th Adjuchas behind her.
"RAWWAGH!" The Adjuchas roared as it goes to attack Karin.
"Oh no, you don't!" Sasuke chanted as he throws Lightning Senbon at his target stunning them long of for Sasuke to stab through the Hollow Mask of the Adjuchas which splatters it to Lava.
"Thanks, Sasuke!"Karin said to her would be lover.
"You're disappointing me with your lack of focus. This heat might be intense but you could've seen this enemy coming 10 miles away. Suigestu neutralizes them before they can reform." Sasuke said to Karin berating her lack of focus and ordering Sugiestu to take out the remnants while they're generating.
"On it! Water Style: Giant Vortex Jutsu " Suigetsu chanted as he forms a water vortex between his hands and then extends water over a large scale, surges and rises up 20 feet high and it streams down to the ground in one big cascade, creating a huge wave, with tremendous power that hollows out the ground which extinguishes them completely, killing the Adjuchas in the process.
However, suddenly a volcanic eruption occurs which causes the ground to shake as an earthquake occurs. 3 Volcanoes erupt nearby sending thousands of volcanic bombs and ash flying in the air and coming down hard with explosive force.
"Watch out!" Sasuke shouted as he dodged flying volcanic rocks heading toward him dodging 20 rocks hitting towards him.
"On it !" Suigestu replied as he dodges the lava bombs exploding around the area.
"I really hate this place!" Karin shouted as she dodges the lava bombs as well.
A volcanic eruption occurs forcing Sasuke, Sugiestu, Karin and Jugo to dodge the flaming rocks coming at them. However, Karin lands on the ground when a large chasm opens up and she falls into it.
"KARIN!" Sasuke shouted as he jumps to save her from the 1,000-foot deep chasm that she fell into.
"SASUKE!" Karin shouted as she falls further down where at the bottom lies a river of lava but Sasuke grabs her and flies out the chasm with LV2 curse mark partial transformation. However, Sasuke is hit from behind by a lava bomb which burns his wings
"ARRGH!" Sasuke shouted as he falls down with Karin in his hands.
"Shit not good!"Suigestu shouted as he goes to attempt to stretch his hand out to catch both Sasuke and Karin but is attacked by another Lava Adjuchas which tries to burn Sugiestu with it's Lava body.
"Sugiestu!" Jugo shouted as he goes into Partial Curse Mark 2 and grabs the monster off them and throws it down the chasm.
"SHIT! That creature got in the way. I got to get to them fast." Sugiestu shouted.
As Sasuke and Karin fall down, Karin thinks to her herself about her life.
"Is this it? Am I really going to die here? How pathetic, Sasuke has saved me so many times because I couldn't save myself. I can't die this way, not like this. "Karin said to herself as she reaches closer to lava pit when she manifests a Chakra Chain from her back which latches onto to the top 990 feet away and pulls Sasuke and her herself back up to the top safely with Sugiestu and Jugo waiting for them.
"What just happened? Sasuke asked looking at Karin who is exhausted using her Chakra to pull them up.
"She summoned that chain again."Suigestu answered.
"What chain?"Jugo asked wondering about what Sugiestu is talking about.
"You mean her Chakra Chain?"Sasuke answered finally realizing what happened.
"Several months ago, I tried to escape from the hellhole Orochimaru put me in when she took me out with that same Chakra Chain, I think that was a conscious defense mechanism regarding her ability that summons itself when she's at
"I remember that very well, it seems like Karin is starting to learn to use that power more frequently. Looks like she has a lot of potential, just not the stamina to handle it." Sasuke stated as he picks up Karin who is half-conscious.
"What about you're back?" Sugiestu asked as Sasuke's back slowly heals from the burns.
"I'm good. I might not have Orochimaru's regeneration abilities but my Curse Mark allows me to regenerate from minor wounds.
"Sasuke is holding me in his hands." Karin said to herself blushing.
Meanwhile at the 9th Division Barracks
Hisgai is training with Mashiro in combat with both of them worn out after fighting for a while with Kensei looking at the sidelines impressed at Hisgai's improvements.
"Not bad, you've improved a lot Hisgai." Kensei said to Hisgai.
"Thanks, Captain."Hisgai replied.
"You're Bankai is indeed powerful but it needs work. The power of your Bankai is virtually uncontrollable at this point, you're Lucky Mashiro has her Hollow powers or you would've killed her." Kensei explained to Hisgai.
"I know that, I was hoping I was gaining control of my Kazeshini but it seems it got even worse when I used my Bankai. Now you know why I hate using my Zanpakuto, why I fear it's power. " Hisgai explained to Kensei.
"Yeah, it's like you were a monster with that Zanpkauto of yours." Mashiro stated.
"If you're able to tame that power of yours, you can easily take the place of that traitorous cockroach that stabbed you in the back and left the squad to ruins."Kensei said to Hisgai only for Hisgai to rush towards him and grab Kensei by his collar.
"I always looked up and respected you...However, don't you ever badmouth Captain Tousen." Hisagi shouted as tears pour down his eyes.
"Badmouth?You idiot, that Ex-Captain of yours was the reason why I'm not Captain anymore. He tried to kill me, leave me for dead and was part of Aizen's Hollowifcation experiments that destroyed countless lives. Tousen never cared for you, he merely used you and everyone around him. Do you have loyalty to the man who would put his own selfish, hypocritical ambitions over the good of the world?" Kensei shouted as Hisgai grabbing him by the shirt collar.
"Tousen has to be misled, there's no way the Captain I know would be such a heartless traitor." Hisgai stated with tears coming out of his eyes.
"It's not a question of whether he is or isn't, he is a traitor! Get over it. We're at war now, regardless of how you feel about your former Captain, you have to treat him as an enemy combatant otherwise you're going to end up dead." Kensei explained to Hisgai.
"It's just so hard to. Tousen and I bonded with each other, he was like the father I never had. I had no idea he was the guy who nearly killed you." Hisgai said to Kensi trying to restrain his tears.
"I know how you feel! Me and Kenny were both betrayed by people we once thought of as friends but me and Keeny were able get over it after time, now we have a mission to save the world."Mashiro explained to Hisgai trying to comfort him.
"We have more pressing matters to deal with, the Shinobi are said to invade sometime today.I'm heading back to get the other Vizards as reinforcements, you and Mashiro stay there and train."Kensei said to Mashiro as he leaves the training field.
Meanwhile at Yoruichi's training ground
Soifon is worn out while on top of a jagged rock formation and notably covered in water from a nearby waterfall.
"Haa...Haa..Man this last minute training is exhausting." Soifon said to herself only for Yoruichi to appear behind her and grab her from behind.
"Don't overexert yourself too much Soifon."Yoruichi said to Soifon
"Lady Yoruichi, what are you doing here?" Soifon asked.
"Just checking on you. You seem to be overdoing it as usual." Yoruichi answered as she picks up Soifon.
"I barely felt like I improved, even with my SHunko training, I still feel it's not enough to defeat a Kage Class Shinobi. My Bankai is still the same terrible Bankai."Soifon said to Yoruichi worried about her strength,
"On the contrary, you've become much stronger. Don't believe me? How about you recover and we spare a bit, so you can see how much stronger you've become." Yoruichi explained to Soifon.
"I guess I'm being too hard on myself, then again considering what we're up against, I'm not sure if we can prevail against the forces ahead even with our numbers."Soifon explained to Yoruichi.
"Which is why we have Ichigo. Ichigo would help turn the tide in the war along with his friends, including a certain special friend of his." Youichi explained to Soifon.
"You mean Orihime?" Soifon asked.
Karakura Highschool
8:00 A.M. Ichigo arrives at his high school for the first time in nearly a month. Uryu and Chad are the frist to meet up with Ichigo.
"Ichigo is that you?" Uryu asked shocked to see Ichigo back.
"Me in the flesh."Ichigo answered.
Keigo arrives with Mizuiro into the school.
"Morning Ichigo." Mizurio said to Ichigo.
"ICHEEGGO!" Keigo shouted as he rushes to hug Ichigo only to get knocked down hitting Ichigo like a brick wall.
"Sorry Keigo."Ichigo said to Keigo picking him back up.
"Man Ichigo, you're ripped. Who knew training for a month would get you so jacked up."Keigo said to Ichigo.
"It was grueling, I'm taking a break at the moment from the training." Ichigo explained to Keigo.
"So how much stronger have you become Uryu?" Keigo asked the Quincy.
"I've gotten stronger myself, but this isn't the place or time to be talking about this. We classwork to do." Uryu replied as Tatsuki walks by.
"Ichigo, looks like you're here." Tatsuki said to Ichigo.
"You're hair is longer."Ichigo stated noticing her longer hair.
"And you've grown more manly. Also, like my hairstyle?"Tatsuki replied with a question.
"Looks nice and Feminine. I didn't think you were the type to be feminine considering how you're spending most of your time in the gym."Ichigo said to Tatsuki with a sarcastic grin.
"Oh hahaha Ichigo, very mature. Just because I don't doll myself up like a typical girl, doesn't mean I can't be feminine." Tatsuki shouted.
"I'm just kidding, lighten up. It's just that in that in all the years I've known you, I didn't see you once try to be more feminine."Ichigo stated.
"For your information, I just feel like changing my look that's all." Tatsuki replied.

"Classes got changed in order. English class got moved from 9:35 A.M. to 8:45 A.M., Math got switched to 3rd period in it's place. Other than that, nothing much, nothing Kon can't update you on." Tatsuki explained to Ichigo.
"Good, thanks for updating me."Ichigo stated.
"So when are you going to get Orihime back?" Tatsuki asked Ichigo.
"I'm not sure, my training is still incomplete. I still got 2 months of training to do, hopefully, when I'm done, I can have enough strength to bring back Orihime."
"Ichigo, there's something you ned to know. I've..." Tatsuki said to Ichigo about to reveal something about herself.
However, the school bell rings and students tart to go into classes. Chizuru rushes to grab Tatsuki and hold hands with Tatsuki.
"Come on Tatsuki, we're going to be late."Chizuru said to Tatsuki as she drags Tatsuki away.
"Best we save that talk for later."Tatsuki said to Ichigo as she rushes to class.
"Something seems different with Tatsuki, can't put my finger on 's good to see my friends again after being gone for so long. Unfroeeantly this is a temporary break. Aizen's plans threaten the world, until he's defeated, I can never live a normal life." Ichigo said to himself as he heads into class.

Konoha
8:00 A.M. Naruto is teleported to Konoha alongside Hinata towards outside the newly constructed Hokage Palace within Konoha which is starting to return to normal after being leveled in last month's major explosion. Naruto and Hinata are then greeted by Sakura, Neji, Kakashi, and Konohamaru, all wearing Standard Shinobi flak jackets.
"Naruto, you're back already?" Sakura asked Naruto.
"Yep been awhile hasn't it ?"Naruto replied with an answer.
"Neji! "Hinata said to her Cousin as she gives him a sisterly hug.
"Nice too see you again Hinata, you seem more confident in your abilities." Neji asked Hinata.
"Me and Naruto trained within for nearly a month, thanks to him and the elder toads, I feel strong enough to take the head of the Hyuga Clan one day."Hinata explained to her cousin.
"You're not the only one who became stronger." Neji replied.
"You seem like you really gotten stronger, everyone seems to gotten stronger."Hinata stated.
"Considering how powerful the Shinigami proved to be a month ago and the fact they took the lives of Asuma and Jiraiya, we all had to train twice as hard to make up for the loss of manpower."Kakashi replied with his usual stoic, deductive tone.
"Yeah, I'll make sure that Jiraiya and Asuma are avenged and once we defeat the Shinigami, I'm going to search for Sasuke and bring him back to the village." Naruto stated with his usual upbeat, assertive tone.
"Can we spar a bit Naruto? "Konohamaru asked Naruto.
"Spar?"Naruto asked.
"We don't have the time to spar Naruto." Sakura stated.
"Actually we have at least an hour left before we need to mobilize. Besides, don't you wish to see how much Naruto improved."Kakashi replied.
"I guess you're right."Sakura responded as she sits down on a bench with Neji, Kakashi, and Hinata.
"If a challenge is what you want, you'll get it!" Naruto said to Konohamaru.
"Bring it!" Konohamaru replied as he charges towards Naruto.
Meanwhile, Tsunade is watching down from her office as Naruto and Konohamaru have their sparring match.
"So how did Naruto's training go? "Tsunade asked the elder Frogs.
"So far, so good! His strength has increased 100 fold, there's just one problem." Fukasaku answered.
"One problem?" Tsunade asked.
"We're unable to sync with Naruto due to Kurama being within his body. While he's surpassed his master in terms of how he's achieved Perfect Sage Mode in just one month where it took Jiraiya 3 years to achieve half the perfected state. Naruto Boy also lacks Jiraiya's natural strength caused by 3 years of training and without him being able to sync with us, he can't fully utilize the power of Sage Mode." Fukasaku said to Tsunade.
"In other words, Naruto's potential is incomplete?" Tsunade asked.
"Naruto has the potential to defeat a Kage Class opponent without the power boost of Kurama, however without the strength of a fully developed adult or the skill and experience of one, he can't help up for very long. In fact, he can only maintain Sage Mode for 5 minutes and unlike Jiraiya, can't renew it as easily without our help. It's uncertain that he can avenge Jiraiya boy's death against the person who killed him in the first place." Shima explained to the Fifth Hokage.
"So what are you're suggesting?" Tsunade questioned the elder frogs.
"That Naruto boy must avoid fighting the man who killed Jiraiya boy at all the ability to sync with us, he would fare no better against that Shinigami, especially without Jiraiya boy's experience. The only way he can defeat that Shinigami is if he infused that Sage Mode with his Kyuubi form." Fukasaku explained to the Hokage.
"So you're saying Yamato is still needed to contain the Kyuubi?" Tsunade asked.
"He's needed far more than ever before. Naruto's power has grown 100 times it was before, that also makes the possibly of Kurama reaching it's full power and side far more likely if Naruto's life is at danger. Yamato must be at Naruto's side in case the worse case scenario happens." Shima explained to Tsunade.
"I see, very well then, I'll make sure that Naruto is protected. As for the man who killed Jiraiya, he'll answer to me." Tsunade replied.
Land of Iron Kage Summit
9:00 A.M. The Five Kage gather on simulcast in a major meeting using Senikmons to all reach the Land of Iron within minutes to communicate with each other within the board room.
"So any other details to go over before we start our assault?" A asked Tsunade.
"We need to assign our leaders and squads." Tsunade answered.
"I already appointed my own commanders. As Supreme Commander of the 5th Division of the Shinobi Alliance, I appoint Temari as Captain of the 5th Division's Long Range Division, Kankuro as Captain of the 5th Division's Puppet Divison,Sekka as Captain of the 5th Division Medical Divison,Ameno as Vice Captain of the 5th Division Medical Division, Saya as Vice Captain of the puppet division, Shira as Captain of the Taijutsu Division and Sana as Vice Captain of the Long Range Division." Baki explained to the Kages.
"I've done the same. Darui would be the Commander of the 5th Division, C would be the Captain of Genjutsu Division, Samui would be Captain of the Surprise Attack Division,Omoi would be Vice Captain of the Surprise Attack Divison,Atsui would be Vice Captain of the Long Range Division, and Karui would be Vice Captain of the Kenjutsu division." A explained to the Kages.
"I've made my appointments as well. As supreme Commander of the 3rd Divison, Ao would be the commander of the 5th Division, Choirjio would be the Captain of the Kenjutsu Division, Misuno would be Captain of the Hunter Nin Suprise Attack Division, I'm still working on some other employments to different functions of the Division." Mei explained to the Kages.
"Here is my picks of the Division I lead As Supreme Commander of the 2nd Division. Kitsuchi is the Commander of the 4th Division, Atasuchi is the Captain of the Defense Corps, Kurostuchi is the Captain of the Assault Division. I'm also working on who to appoint to other divisions." Onoki explained to the Kages.
"And I've made my own decisions as Supreme Commander of the 4th Division. Kakashi would be Commander of the 4th Divison. Shizune would normally be appointed to Captain of the Medical Division but I had her stay behind to protect Konoha in case of attack, not to mention our would be Genjutsu Captain is out due to pregnancy so I would fulfill the role as Captain of the Medical Division as well and appoint Sakura as Vice Captain of the Medical Division. Might Gai would be Captain of the Taijutsu Division with his Pupil Rock Lee being the Vice Captain of the Taijutsu Division, Inoichi would be Captain of the Intelligence Division while Ino would be Vice Captian of the Intelligence Division. Shikaku is the leader of the Speical Tactics Unit while his so Shikamaru is the Vice Captain of that Division. Yamato would be appointed as Captain off the Suprise attack Division while Sai would be his Vice Captain. I'm still working on other Division."Tsunade said for the other Kages.
"That leaves us with the issue of the Jinchūriki." Onoki said to the others.
"Killer Bee would be my personal guard. Having him directly involved in battle would be too chaotic, especially when he lacks any Tactical skills however his strength is useful as a last resort." A explained to the Kages.
"Naruto would be under the personal guard of Kakashi and Yamato. Given he's still a Genin, I can't appoint him to any division, however, his power is near Kage Class thanks to the training of the Elder Sages so he would be absolutely essential in the upcoming fight."Tsunade explained to the Kages.
"All it comes down to is who strikes first. Let's begin mobilization efforts immediately. Contact the smaller Village leaders and the Gelel continent, we're going to start the invasion as soon as possible." A said to the other Kages.
Meanwhile in Amekagure
Pein has his 6 paths dress as various Amekagure Shinobi, resembling the faces and bodies of the previously deceased people with Deva Path dying his hair brown. Konan dyed her hair blonde and is wearing a standard Amekagure outfit. The recently revived Hanzo is leading them controlled by Aizen's Kyoka Suigestu who is met to be the puppet to help inflame conflicts between Shinigami and Shinobi and to capture Naruto once the opportunity arises.
"So we got everything going then." Pein asked Konan.
"Yep, our deception is working as fine here. My name is Natsui, I'm the right-hand woman of Hanzo. I specialize in Shirukenjutsu. You're Okoyaka, the right-hand man of Hanzo who specializes in Earth and water Jutsu. Animal Path would retain her past identity as Ajisai, she's already close to Naruto's friends so she would be the perfect bait. The rest of them don't really aliases but I decided to name Narkara Path Jigo, Perta Path Gaido, Human Path is named Nigen and Asura Path is named Ashura." Konan explained to Pain as they play their roles.
"So the moment to get our target starts now. Soon we're have both Tailed Beasts in our possession and our plan for world conquest would begin. "Pein replied.
Konoha
9:30 A.M.
All the 1,500 remaining Konohakagure Shinobi gathers around the center of the town within the rebuilt Konoha Stadium. Kakashi is standing on a stage alongside Tsunade and the commanders of their division. All the other Kages appear on each of the 5 giant screens on the stage. on the left of the screens and stage is the Giant Senkaimon over 50 feet high and wide.
"The moment of truth is about to come."Neji said to his team.
"To think I was appointed Vice Captain of the Long Range division." Tenten replied.
"You're the most talented long-range fighter within Konoha, it's no surprise you're selected in that role just like I'm the Vice Captain of the Taijutsu Division." Lee stated.
Meanwhile, Kiba, Shino, and Hana are within their own division.
"If I kick enough ass, I'll become Hokage." Kiba said to his comrades.
"This is a war, not a game brother! Please take this seriously."Hana replied to her brother.
"Yeah Kiba, best we don't underestimate our enemies, not after last time." Shino stated.
"Geez, have any of you heard of a sense of humor?"Kiba replied.
Suddenly all the 4 other Kages appear on the screens with Mifune appearing in the middle TV screen.
"Three times now, we have been involved in world wars. I've fought in every single one of them, I've seen alot of losses within my lifetime and seen many people hurt and scarred by war and I've caused and fought in a fair share of wars caused out of opportunity." Onoki explained to the people across the world throughout the Five Nations on Simulcast.
"We've experienced wars within our own lands as a result of the Global wars shortening our resources or despotic leaders overstepping their own bounds which lead to more bloodshed within our own homes." Mei explained to the people across the world throughout the Five Nations on Simulcast referring to her country's history of civil wars.
"We lost our fair share of leaders to assassinations, terrorist attacks and wars which left us helpless and defense to countless invaders. It forced us to do underhanded things that would normally be against our best ethics."Baki explained to the people across the world throughout the Five Nations on Simulcast referring to his country's history of losing leaders to Assassinations and it's countries history of terrorist attacks.
"We have grown cold and mistrusting to fellow neighboring Nations due to decades of warfare, to the point we never dropped our arms and always prepared ourselves for a new war." A explained to the people across the world throughout the Five Nations on Simulcast referring to his country's history of Militarism and conflicts.
"We had countless people lost over the countless battles fought to maintain peace. We succeeded in protecting our own people but failed to protect the people most important to us." Tsunade explained to the people across the world throughout the Five Nations on Simulcast referring to her country's history of sacrifice and loses.
"We as a nation sat on the sidelines for too long, failing to intervene in the conflicts to prevent world wars when we had the strength to do so, preserving ourselves and culture in exchange of preventing atrocities." Mifune explained to the people across the world throughout the Five Nations on Simulcast referring to his country's history of isolationism.
"We have suffered countless losses previously from the Akatsuki and Shinigami..." Onoki said the audience.
"From this point on, we are no enemies." A said to the group.
"There are no Konoha Shinobi, Kumo Shinobi, Kiri Shinobi, Iwa Shinobi or Suna Shinobi." Tsunade stated.
"There are only Shinobi and we are the Allied Shinobi Forces." All the Kages and Mifune shouted.
The Simulcast finishes with the tv screens turning off and crowds of Shinobi in Konoha cheering for the speech as well as Shinobi
"That was an excellent speed."Naruto said to Sakura.
"Tell me about it."Sakura replied.
Tsunade steps off the stage as the Senkaimon opens up.
"In a few minutes, we're going to travel into the Unknown in the final battle for the survival or humanity. Those who wish to have their last meals, say their goodbyes to their family members in the case you don't make it or wish to use the restroom, you got 15 minutes before we move out." Tsunade said to the Konoha Shinobi.
After the speech, Ikumi retreats to the bathroom of the stadium disguised as a Shinobi to give her report.
"Isshin, we got a problem." Ikumi said to the former Captain.
"What is it Ikumi?"Isshin asked.
"The invasion is happening much sooner than expected. Alert the Gotei 13 immediately." Ikumi explained to Isshin.
"Damn it, this is not good."Isshin stated.
"I'm going to wait until the place is clear to leave, the whole arena I'm in is crawling with Shinobi. We're not going to stop this war sadly. FUCK!" Ikumi shouted before realizing she yelled out loud and covers her mouth.
"Everything alright in there Ana?" one of the Shinobi asked her
"Nothing!Just stained my pants, give a few to clean up." Ikumi answered as she's within the stool.
"Hurry up, people are starting to leave into the Senkaimon." the Shinobi said to her as he leaves.
"See what I mean Isshin? "Ikumi asked him.
"We can still stop this war before it gets out of hand."Isshin stated.
"How so, they're already mobilising. It's too late."Ikumi said to Isshin in a low voice with her headset.
"Given the vast size of the Aijano super-state, it would take them at least 6 days to reach the Seteriert. We have 6 days to stop this war before it's too late. If we don't stop the war in 6 days, it's game over and Aizen wins." Isshin explained to Ikumi.
"Right! I shall waste no further time and head to the former Akatsuki hideout, we have to find evidence of their meddling of the war."Ikumi replied as she goes into a ventilation shaft.
Meanwhile at Aizen's throne room.
Aizen is watching the mobilization of Shinobi forces across the world.
"Looks like everything is going according to plan. The war between Shinobi and Shinigami, looks like I'll win this war without having to lift a finger."Aizen said to Obito.
"More like we'll win and have the two remaining Tailed Beast plus Ichigo without having to lift a finger and with remaining Bjuus alongside Ichigo's powers, no one would be able to stop us." Obito replied as he watches the screen with Aizen.

This chapter was originally intended to be much longer but I cut the part into two chapters. Next chapter is when the battles begin. As for Ikumi within Bleach Shippuden, she's a former Shinigami spy and the previous Vice Captain to Aizen before Momo.
I honestly liked Ikumi's character in the brief screentime she got during the Fullbringer arc and one of the few interesting characters to come out of that arc. I was hoping due to her character introduction that she would eventually turn out to be a former Shinigami, Quincy or even Fullbringer but sadly Kubo did nothing with her, which is more than I can say for Ikumi. What I plan to do with her, you just have to wait and see people. All I have to say is this, she's no ordinary Vice Captain, especially given Aizen hinted that Gin and Tousen would not be enough, you'll eventually get to see what Ikumi can do within the middle of the arc in which she inevitably fights Itachi.
Also, I hope you like seeing Sasuke in this chapter and the Arrancars and Aizen because this would be the last you're going to see of them within a while. Yeah, the next upcoming chapters are going to be purely Shinigami vs Shinobi and I would be introducing more of the Teniten 7 as the arc goes on and there are going to be new allies and players added to to the list eventually as well.
Anyways I can't make any promises from this point forward but I would try to get as much of this done as soon as possible but I would love to thank everyone who has supported this fan fiction within the 5 years of it's run and a special thanks to my co-writer Darkmachines for all the hard work he helped put into this fan fiction as well.
