Chapter 66: Zero Hour, Start of the Soul Society Invasion

2,000 miles north from the Seteiret
Monday October 29,2001 10:00 A.M.
Within the serene snowy tundra far outside of civilization, portals open up on ground level as hundred of people come out of the portal. After a few minutes, over 16,000 people have emerged out of the hundred of portals emerging. 3,000 of them are wearing the standard Konoha Shinobi attire and 12,000 of them are wearing knight-like armor with swords resembling European claymores.
Tsunade appears out of the portal alongside Naruto, Kakashi, and Sakura. Another commander emerges out of the portal as well. A tall young man with white skin, neck-length blonde hair and green eyes. On the left side of his chest is a symbol. He's wearing a medieval armor complete with helmet and a red cape, a black shirt underneath and a green cloth on his neck. and even elbow-length black arm warmers. He is riding on his horse which is covered in metal plating for protection.
"Temujin, is that you?" Naruto asked looking at the knight in armor.
"That's King Temujin to you Naruto." the knight replied.
"Glad to have you assist us even though you're not Shinobi". Tsunade said to the king.
"I owe you and the Shinobi a great deal of debt for all the work you've done for us. After defeating Haido, we were able to rebuild our Continent ravaged by war, I became the new king of the land and once I heard about the threat of the Shinigami, I was more than happy to assist you." Temujin explained to Naruto.
"That's so cool, you're king now! One day I'm going to become Hokage, believe it!" Naruto stated with his usual tone.
"You haven't changed at all Naruto, however, I will have my rematch with you one day, that is if we survive this war." Temjuin replied.
"Don't worry, with our forces, there's nothing to worry about!" Naruto responded.
"Naruto, we're not out of the words yet, take this war seriously." Kakashi said to Naruto scorning him.
"It's good to have high morale, it's another for your arrogance to blind you." Sakura said to Naruto scoring him.
"You have no idea how horrible war is Naruto, there's a very good reason Jiraiya wanted peace. Me, Orochimaru and him went through absolute hell on earth in our battlefields and lost so many lives, innocent people were caught in the crossfire despite our best efforts to avoid civilian casualties and losing those close to us. It's been 26 years since I fought a war. Now we fight together for the survival of the Shinobi World." Tsunade explained to her comrades.
"This is our very first time-fighting in war, I've never been more scared in my life.I've never even taken a life before." Sakura stated nervously as if a cold chill runs down her spine.
"You're not the only one, I've never taken a life either." Hinata replied comforting Sakura.
"Neither have I !" Lee said to the group.
"The only ones here who ever killed anyone in our age group are me, Temari. Kankurō, Tenten, Shikamaru and Choiji and we had no choice in the matter and it was far from an all out Warzone. If there's as many powerful Shinigami as the ones we encountered in the Land of Rivers and within Konoha, we're in for some serious trouble. It would be inevitable we suffer casualties and losses at this rate."Neji explained to the group.
"Which is all the more important we establish an evac zone within the battlefield. Having an active medical unit on the battlefield is what saved many lives on the line of duty, all thanks to Lady Tsunade's efforts within the Second Shinobi War." Sakura stated.
"And all the more reason I contacted you Temjuin. The powerful Knights of Gelel are known for their immense power. We will wait until the Land of Rivers bridage and Amekagure briadge arrive here within a few minutes. As Supreme Commander of the healing division, it's my duty to ensure protection and safety of all people who are being taken into medical care. The strategery is that the 12,000 enlisted knights would form a formation line to slow down and halt Shinigami reinforcements as long as they can while other units start taking territory inch by inch. Konoha's unit, our unit would build a small campground for the medical unit under Sakura to take care of close to the Runogaki around 65 miles north of the Seireitei . Sakura and I would make that the base of operations and the main center to launch a full-scale assault. Shizune meanwhile would protect Konoha with her 3,000 reserved Shinobi that was protecting the Land of Fire and absent from the invasion." Tsunade said to her unit explaining the plan.
"So our job is to act as security for your medical units?" Temujin asked Tsunade.
"You're our vital line of defense. The Medical unit is the most important until within any war, you break the medical unit or capture it, you significantly decrease morale and the enemy can force an ultimatum which would force the surrender of the army and cost them the war. We're on the enemy's home turf with a significant geographical disadvantage. The only way to ensure the success of this war is to have as much protection against the medical unit as possible and have the unit as mobile as possible."Shikamaru explained to Temjuin.
"That sounds like an ingenious plan." Temjurin stated.
"Thanks, it was my dad's idea."Shikamaru replied humbly.
"Don't give your dad all the credit, you helped planned this as well."Ino said to Shikamaru.
"Once we establish a safe zone close to the enemy stronghold, we will begin the seige. Sai, as a former member of Root, you are going to be very useful to our infiltration and rescue operations within the Seteieret. You would go with Team Kakashi and Yamato to rescue Gaara once the Kazekage reached the borders of the country, we can strike with full force. If we do this right, we can rescue Gaara and turn the tide of the war."Tsunade explained to everyone only to see Hanzo's unit appear.
"Long time no see, Sannin."Hanzo said to Tsunade as he appears on top of his Salamander Inbuse with his traditional weapon.
"You haven't changed at all Hanzo, it's been over decades since we last saw each other. It's amazing after so many assassinations attempts you're alive."Tsunade said to Hanzo.
"So this is the Legendary Hanzo? What an insane amount of power he wields. I knew back in his days he was stronger than the Sanin but it's amazing even at his old age, he's this strong." Kakashi said to himself as Hanzo stands on top of his salamander.
"It's good to see you, we just need to wait until the Land of Rivers unit appears before we made our move" Hanzo stated.
"They're going to take a while to appear, they're still organizing."Tsunade replied.
Seireitei
10:10 A.M.
Yamamoto gets news from one of the 2nd Division ninjas that the Soul Society has been invaded by the Shinobi.
"We got an emergency report. Over 16,000 Shinobi were detected within the Soul Society having entered from illegal Sekaimons silmair to that used by the Quncies during the Quincy War 1,000 years ago " Akon explained to Yamamoto.
"So they've decided to launch their attack so soon? Notify all the Gotei 13 divisions within the Teniten 7 and mobilize the Gotei 13 here. Also, send word to the Ryoka within the World of the Living, it seems like the war has finally begun."Yamamoto said to his soldiers with his usual stern face as he gets up from his commander seat and picks up his cane prepared for war.
"It seems we're once again at war with humans my commander."Sasbiie said to his commanding officer with his usual gentleman tone.
"It appears so Sasbike. This is the first time in 1,000 years has a human army attempted an invasion of the Soul Society on such a scale. We must not falter for a second." Yamamoto replied as the sounds and alarm bells go off throughout the Gotei 13.
"There has been an emergency. There's a Code Red emergency. 100,000 Shinobi have begun their assault within the Gotei 13 assault against the Soul Society. All Squads from the Gotei 13 are to mobilize and prepare for battle. The entire Country of Aijano has been put under martial law and a state of emergency. All civilian evacuation shelters have begun to open, any personnel near an evacuation shelter should assist with the evacuation of Rungokai citizens and Nobles into their safe shelters. This is the Soul Society Emergency Alert System."The Emergency Alert System stated with its loud alarms blazing across the Seteteirt and Rungokai.
Throughout the Setreitert, alarm bells go off throughout the imperial city as all the Captains and Lieutenants mobilize after hearing the alarm. Renji within his barracks is up with Rukia as he picks up his Zanpakutō.
"So they're here to fight us within our territory? " Renji asked Rukia.
"We have to stand strong Renji, we can't let them succeeded in their agenda." Rukia replied as they both bump into Byakuya.
"Don't worry, we will prevail against the Shinobi this time and make sure that they would never raise a hand against us again." Byakuya said to the two of his closest comrades as he's ready for battle.
Meanwhile at the 9th Division Barracks
Hisgai is training with Mashiro in combat when they heard the Alarm siren's go off within the Seireitei about the impending Shinobi Invasion.
"Looks like they've come for us!" Hisgai said to his comrades.
"It's only a matter of time before they manage to get here. " Mashiro replied as she changes from her silly persona to a more serious persona.
"It's best we get all the members of our squad mobilized and prepare to deal with the threat head on," Hisgai stated.
"Remember what Kenny said. You have to treat Tousen as an enemy combatant. " Mashiro said to Hisgai with a more serious tone.
"It's not easy, what if you're forced to fight Kensei. What if Kensei was the one who betrayed you?" Hisgai asked his Super Vice Captain superior notably somber about the thought of fighting his former captain.
"I can't imagine having to fight Kensei if he did the same thing Tousen did to you. I'll help you defeat Tousen and we'll capture him alive together!" Mashiro replied trying to cheer up her subordinate.
3rd Division Barracks
Izuru assembles his squad within the division to prepare for battle as well.
"Everyone within row call?" Izuru asked within his professional manner.
"We have most of the people assembled here and awaiting your orders." Rikū Togakushi replied.
"Good job third seat Togakushi, where's 5th Seat Taketsuna Gori and 6th seat Asuka Katakura?" Izuru asked his Third seat.
"They're still getting the remaining people assembled to the courtyard." Rikū explained to the Vice Captain.
"We will await further orders from the temporarily acting Captain of Squad 3, until then, stay assembled here and wait for further orders." Izuru replied as he commands his officers to prepare for war.
4th Division Barracks
Unohana hears the alarm going off with her medical unit assembling within the main room of the hospital.
"You're jobs are to provide assistance and healing to any nearby injured troops and civilians caught in the crossfire of the fight. Don't engage in combat unless necessary. You are to team up with assisting mainly Squad 11 within their battle formations." Unoahna explained to her men.
"Squad 11? Those bullies always pick on us. " Harunobu stated.
"Don't worry, I already had my talk with Squad 11 about their behavior problems, they know better than to attempt to push their petty bullying tactics in the middle of the war." Uohanana replied with her creepy smile.
" We have to do whatever it takes to protect the Soul Society." Hanataro said to himself ready to die for his mission and the Soul Society.
Meanwhile at Squad 11's barracks.
The Squad 11 Shinigami cheer as war is about to occur.
"Let's kick some ass today boys! " one of the Shinigami shouted.
"Going to rough up some Shinobi." another Shinigami answered.
"Let's not get too hasty men, we need to wait until old man gives us the orders to unleash the hounds of war upon them." Kenpachi replied speaking seriously.
"Kenpachi, this isn't like you to wait on the enemy and obey old man's words." Ikkaku stated.
"Underestimating our opponents is how we all almost died last time remember? Besides, I have no interests fighting fodder, I'm only after the big fish." Kenpachi replied.
"I see, you're fishing for the really big fish? I can bite. I look forward to fighting another strong Shinobi myself, maybe even a Jounin if I'm lucky." Ikkaku stated with his usual grin.
"I can bite, I don't wish to fight anyone as ugly as that insect freak ever again." Yumchikia responded hoping he would fight a handsome man.
Karakura Highschool
10:15 A.M. Uryu, Ichigo, and Chad are walking into class when their cell phones ring with an emergency alert system.
"This can't be !" Uryu said to his friends shocked at the news he's getting on his phone.
"What's going on? "Ichigo asked.
"The Soul Society is under attack." Uryu answered.
"What? Ichigo stated.
"Kisuke has called for a mandatory meeting within his shop ASAP. He stated that the Soul Society is about to be hit hard." Uryu explained to Ichigo with his usual stoic tone.
"Me too? I thought I was taking a break for a day with training. Kon's still in my house ." Ichigo stated.
"It's an emergency, you need to get Kon and join us! " Uryu said to Ichigo.
"Are you crazy? I can't possibly make it to my house without being stopped by a truancy officer. My house is pretty far from here. Not to mention I have to get past my dad without being spotted. I'm having a hard time not failing my classes let alone be caught skipping class." Ichigo stated freaked out at the fact he has to go to his house.
"Figure it out then Ichigo, we have to go !" Uryu replied as he jumps out of the window and uses Herieynaku to fly up and Airwalk away from where people can notice him
"Meet you at Kisuke's place !" Chad replied stoically as he walks out of the school back door and then uses Sonido to move across the town moving faster than the human eye can see.
"Crap, I'm in a pickle! I have to sneak across at least to my house without being spotted by police or truancy officers and get past my own father. Damn the one time I wish I didn't have a human body when doing this. " Ichigo said to himself as he then sees Tatsuki walk towards the bathroom with Chizuru.
"You absolutely can't tell anyone about what I'm about to do Chizuru." Tatsuki said to her friend.
"Why keep it a secret from everyone? " Chizuru asked her classmate.
"Because...Nevermind then, let's take the time to go through this."Tatsuki answered with a blush on her face.
"Why not tell Ichigo and his friends at least? " Chizuru questioned the black haired student.
"I especially can't tell them, not yet...Anyways" Tatsuki replied as she walks into the bathroom with Chizuru.
"What the hell is Tatsuki going on about? What can't she tell me? Nevermind, I gotta go get Kon." Ichigo said to himself as he prepares to sneak out of school.
Meanwhile at the Vizard Hideout
Shinji and the other Vizards get the alert that the Soul Society is under attack by the Shinobi Alliance.
"Looks like the war has begun a new." Shinji said to his friends as he picks up his
"So this is the day we defeat Aizen huh? Been looking forward to the day we get our payback." Kensei stated.
"Payback?You're not the one stuck as a 120-year-old for the rest of their lives." Hiyori replied with furious anger.
"Calm down, we're not even sure Aizen will appear in battle himself and you guys are already celebrating like where at the end zone." Lisa stated with a stoic expression.
"Lisa has a point, Aizen has so many pawns, he doesn't need to fight his own battles." Rose replied.
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this ?" Love asked the group.
'You're right, something has been amiss about this whole Shinobi affair for a while. Anyways our job is to provide security at the Soul Society. We'll let Kisuke sort out all the thinking for us." Shinji answered as they all prepare to go into the Senkaimon.
Meanwhile at Kisukes shop
Kisuke is notably unevered about the events going on talking on the phone with Isshin.
"No, we're too late! The war is happening as Aizen wanted. We failed to stop the war!" Kisuke said to Isshin notably stressed out.
"Clam down Kisuke, Ajiano is a vast country within the Soul Society. Unless the Shinobi can casually use their Shunpo techniques, it would take at least a week to reach the Seireitei. We just have to speed up efforts on our part to intercept the invading wave with intel before it's too late to stop them. In other words, we can't have them meet Yamamoto or the war would be certain to go on." Isshin explained to Kisuke in his attempts to calm down the Ex Shinigami Captain.
"You're right, anyway I gotta get going. Working on a nice surprise for Ichigo and his friends." Kisuke replied as Chad and Uryu arrive at his shop.
"We made it!" Uryu said to Kisuke.
"Did you guys had anyone see you move? " Kisuke asked them.
"Nope, I used Sonido to move too fast for any normal human to see me. " Chad answered with his usual stoic tone.
"And I used Heriyaukunu to walk high enough to be unnoticed by the busy morning traffic. " Uryu replied while tilting their glasses.
"Good now, all it remains is Ichigo." Kisuke stated opening up his fan.
"Why would you have Ichigo go to his house knowing well he would be spotted by police and his dad knowing he cut school ?" Uryu asked Kisuke.
"To test Ichigo to see if he can successfully get past hard obstacles to his goal and lengths he would go to obtain his ultimate obstacle." Kisuke explained to Uryu while barely trying to avoid chuckling.
"You did it to troll didn't you ?" Uryu asked the shopkeeper unamused by his trolling.
"That too!" Kisuke replied not even bothering to deny his mischievous as he folds his fan.
A Ninja drops on the floor shocking Uryu and Chad. The Ninja is wearing an Akatsuki robe with their face completely covered with a black mask with a Konoha headband with the symbol of Konoha crossed out.
"How did a Shinobi get past our radar?" Uryu asked shocked at the fact a Shinobi came into the battleground.
"Whoever they are, we're not letting them out match us." Chad replied as they prepare to fight the random Shinobi.
"Looks like you finally came along as part of my own plan to test the strength of my students." Kisuke said to himself as he folds back the fan again.
Kyōwakok/ Aijano border, Soul Society
2,0000 miles southwest from the Seteiret
Monday October 29,2001 10:25 A.M.
Within the hot, desert sand dunes far outside of civilization, portals open up on ground level as hundred of people come out of the portal. After a few minutes, over 12,300 people have emerged out of the hundred of portals. 2,100 of them are dressed within standard Sunakagure Shinobi Attire while the other remaining Shinobi forces are wearing Samurai Armor with samurai swords.
"Is this seriously the spirit world? It's just like the real world with its intense heat and deserts. " Temari said to everyone with amazement.
"Hard to believe the afterlife is much like our normal plane of existence." Kankurō replied as he grabs a bit of the desert sand.
" Can't believe we actually made it to where the Shinigami roams at." Baki said to his unit as he observes the vast desert wasteland their in alongside some rock plateau not too far from them.
"Supreme Commander Baki, what are the next orders given to us? " one of the soldiers asked him.
" We are to hold the line here and prevent anyKyōwakoku forces from crossing the border so they can't regroup with Aijano forces." Baki explained to his unit.
"What if we encounter a Captain Commander ourselves? Don't we have the strength to match them in battle? " Ameno asked him.
"We retreat further across the AIjano border, our job is to hold off as long as possible until Konoha manages to rescue Gaara and find the Superweapon the Soul Society has." Baki stated.
" Can we even hold the line? Shinigami are very formidable opponents?" Sekka asked lacking confidence in the mission.
"With the Samuaris here and our own forces, we have enough strength to keep them at bay for the time being. We have around 12,300 forces, going by intelligence reports, they only have around 3,000. Regardless of how powerful they are, we have the numbers edge not to mention the environmental edge. Desert Climates are our forte after all." Baki explained to everyone.
"So they're Outnumbered over 4 to 1?I like those odds." Temari stated with a smirk on her face.
"Here's the plan. I'll stay here and provide middle range combat assault. Kankurō, you cover the sides with Saya to prevent anyone from flanking us with your puppet division. Shira, you cover my front and lead the Taijutsu division in preventing any charging and wedge formations from happening. Ameno, stay behind and help Sekka assist in healing wounded soldiers and Temari, you and your long range division would assist in long range assaults. Use your wind to provide us with Sandstorm cover if needed. As for the Samurais, half of you are to form an Iron Encriclment around us to protect the healing division and the other half are to form a barricade around the border to prevent any Shingimai from advancing past us." Baki explained to his men as they all go into their formation.
"You're boyfriend is quite the tactical genius to have thought this formation plan overnight." Kankurō said to his sister teasing her.
"Shikamaru is indeed a genius."Temari replied as she then sees Shinigami advancing towards their position a distance away.
"Looks like we got company!"Shira said to his forces as they all prepare to fight the Kyōwakoku Shinigami Division.
Karakura Town
10:30 A.M.
Ichigo is sneaking around town as he heads towards his own house that is from his school.
"Damn it, I need to get across town without being spotted. Damn Kisuke! " Ichigo said to himself as he walks around alley to avoid being spotted by police.
Ichigo walks around the neighborhood when he sees Yokochini, also known as Weasel, the same man who attempted to rape Orihime being arrested by police for breaking out of Junveilie Detention.
"Breaking out of Juvenile detention and going on a run for over a month huh? We finally found you Yokochini." one of the officers said to the hoodlum as he struggles to fight against the cops cuffing him.
"You punks won't take me alive...Let go of me!" Yokochini shouted.
"How did he break out of Juvenile Detention? He must've escaped when the Akatsuki attacked and got his memory erased in the process. Maybe if I sneak away, they won't notice me." Ichigo said to himself as he attempts to sneak past the cops only for Yokochini to break free and grab the officers gun and point it at the two cops.
"Stay back or I will shoot!" Yokochini shouted as he nervously shakes with the gun in his hand.
"Come on, put the gun down. You're only 16 years old, no need to lose your life at such a young age."One of the cops said to him.
"Ah great, nothing can ever go my way."Ichigo said to himself as he dashes towards Yokochini and kicks the gun out of his hand.
"Ichigo! You appear huh? Well, I have been waiting to get my payback on you!" Yokochini shouted as he pulls out a knife and comes at Ichigo but Ichigo evades the swipe of the blade and grabs the guy's hand and throws him down within a CQC maneuver with Ichigo holding the knife in his hand.
"Man Kensei's CQC techniques came in handy." Ichigo said to himself as he then see the cop pick up his firearm with his partner at the side
"Thank you for saving us. Say that uniform, are you cutting school young man? " One of the officers asked.
"Ah crap! I almost forgot I was supposed to be evading police." Ichigo said to himself as he then runs as fast as he can ahead of the cops.
"We go a high school student evading police. He's around 5'9", around 140-160 lbs and has orange hair. Be on high alert of the student." The officer said to his unit as Ichigo is now being hunted by police.
"Damn it, now I have to evade cops. I have to lose them. I can't bring them to my house of all things." Ichigo said to himself as he runs away from the cops.
Soul Ocean Shoreline
2,000 Miles Southeast of the Seireitei
Monday October 29,2001, 10:35 A.M.
Kirikagure has assembled within the sandy beaches of the Soul Ocean Shoreline as they are setting up their barricades with Shinobi setting up sand bags and setting up machine kunai launchers in the middle of sand bags. They formed a small battalion of soldiers that walk on the water of the ocean and then use summoning Jutsu to summon 100 Wooden Battleships with canons loaded up with Paper Bomb cluster balls.
"Looks like everything is set up. We've occupied everything within the region and captured one of the port cities with no casualties on all sides." Mei said to her forces having already set up their encampments.
"All the Village Heads are assembled within their different positions ready for battle and ready to stop the advancement of any Shinigami coming from the waters.
"Remember the plan. Chōjiro, Ao, make sure no one who lands gets close to the port city. Mifune and I would stand guard of the battlefield and watch for any Kage Class Shinigami alongside the village elders. As long as we have the naval ship amdara, the Water Jutsu Battalion, and the Marine Beach Corp, we can hold off the assault."Mei explained to her men.
"I'm ready to fight on your behalf Lady Mizukage!"Chōjiro replied.
"We got 12,500 forces against the expected 12,000 Shinigami naval forces from 3 countries, with 7 Kage class leaders here including myself and Mifune, we can definitely repel the assault while Tsunade's team rescues Gaara and retrieves the super weapon." Mei said to her men.
"We would make sure that the samurais would hold the defense front at all cost, even at the cost of our lives." Mifune replied as he draws his blade preparing for war when he sees a Kidō blast coming towards him but he deflects it into a rock.
"Looks like the Shinigami has come earlier than predicted." Mei said to her forces as he sees ships from a distance.
120 Battleships appear looking more like modernized battleships with Naval cannons that shoot Kidō like blasts. The ships each contain 1,000 Shinigami that are traveling on the ships to reach the shoreline. The Battleships unleash a barrage of Kidō Blasts attacks that start hitting Mizukages fleet however due to the Water Jutsu Batitlion, the ships are shielded by water barriers and water waves.
"Don't underestimate the power of Kirkagures navy."Mei said to the Shinigami as they prepare for battle as their own ships fire back at the batteships.
Meanwhile in Karakura Town
Ichigo is running from the police running around the back alley where he thinks he lost the cops.
"Finally lost the police for now. This sucks, having to run from police like a criminal. Damn it I don't have time for this, I'm running like a criminal just to save the world." Ichigo said to himself as he then sees his house nearby.
Ichigo climbs up the alleyway near his house on a pipe and goes to the second floor where he attempts to open his window when he's caught by police.
"Hands in the air!" the cop said to Ichigo with his pistol drawn pointing at Ichigo.
"This has to be some kind of mistake."Ichigo shouted.
"You're under arrest for evading police and attempting to break into this home." The police officer said to Ichigo.
"This is my house. Also no thanks for saving your life?" Ichigo asked shouting at the cop.
"Come on kid, let's take this eas..." The cop said to Ichigo only to be hit by pink gas and get knocked out.
" Seriously Ichigo, you would fail greatly within the Stealth corp with that skill." Yoruichi said to Ichigo.
"You know you could've done that sooner or better yet give me Kon sooner."Ichigo said to Yoruichi.
"I was merely testing to see if you were ready for the upcoming battle. Not bad managing to cross at least 2km of land within 10 minutes in your human body. Well done." Yoruichi said to Ichigo with a smirk.
"This isn't a game damn it, lives are at stake here." Ichigo shouted.
"Easy Ichigo, you really think the Soul Society would fall so easy to an enemy we know about? Don't insult and underestimate the skill and power of the Gotei 13. While we do need you to help fight the war, the Shinobi have only begun to land in the Soul Society. It would take days before they have reached our doorstep. We can crush them before that should much more concern about yourself in the battlefield, especially when enemies would be doing much more than merely arresting you." Yoruichi explained to Ichigo notably upset about Ichigo's attitude.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to come off that way."Ichigo stated.

Third, if you count the Soul Society incident several months back but that was more of a skirmish than a battle This is a war Ichigo, you need to follow orders around, try any dumb heroics without permission and you'll end up dead." Youichi explained to Ichigo.
"Don't worry, I won't let you down or anyone else down."Ichigo replied.
"Then take this! " Yoruichi said to Ichigo as she passes him Kon's Mod Soul which Ichigo uses to switch out bodies.
" YORUICHI! Such a perfect body. Large breasts, prefect heart shaped ass, beautiful chocolate shouted as he rubs his head between Yoruichi's boobs.
"KON!" Ichigo shouted in embarrassment,
"My Ichigo I wasn't aware you're such a pevert." Yoruichi smirked with an evil troll grin.
"You know damn well that's not me." Ichigo said to Yoruichi.
"Did you know Mod Souls take up the inner personalities of their counterparts? True story Ichigo." Yoruichi explained to Ichigo with a sadistic grin.
"That's not right, I'm not a pervert!" Ichigo shouted with his face turning red.
"Really now...Let's put that to the test then." Yoruichi replied as she strips herself naked and shows off her sexy body causing Kon to pass out from nose bleeding and Ichigo to nosebleed.
"Damn you Yoruichi!" Ichigo shouted.
"Man it's too funny messing with you like this ...Are you sure you don't want to try it out with me? "Yoruichi asked him as she bends down taunting Ichigo to make a move on her.
"I told you you I have Orihime."Ichigo replied trying to cover his eyes.
"Geez, you're no fun.."Yoruichi replied as she puts back her clothes and picks up Kon.
"You can't just carry him away, what would it look like if people saw a floating body that had his shirt stained with blood?" Ichigo questioned the dark skinned Ex Captain.
"Did you forget already who you're talking to? Get to Kisuke's shop, I'll make sure Kon behaves himself." Yoruichi said to Ichigo.
"Don't do anything funny to my body!" Ichigo warned her.
"Hey, I'm not a slut...Well not anymore that is, don't worry about your body. It's in safe hands." Yoruichi replied as she flash steps away from Ichigo.
"Orihime, I will rescue you from Aizen's clutches, I promise that with my life."Ichigo said to himself.
South Ajiano/Aijano border
1,00 Miles South of the Sertieiert
10:45 A.M. Kumokagure with the Land of Demons, Land of Swamps, Land of Forests and Land of Jungles are already engaged in combat with the South Ajinao forces at the border. Kumokagure has set up 100 chakra canons that shoot Lightning Blasts at Shinigami each powered by 10 Shinobi from Kumokagure which causes the Shinigami to scatter and go on the defensive. 9100 Shinobi forces hold off the 6,000 forces within the border.
"What's going on? Konoha told me that we had at least 3 hours before enemies could assemble reinforcements, why are they already attacking? "A asked as he easily dodges a barrage of Kidō blasts being flung at the allies.
"Something went is reporting that her forces are under fire as well."C answered.
"Looks like the enemy saw us coming somehow."Darui stated with his usual dull expression.
"Damn it, whatever we need to maintain the line. Don't let a single Shinigami cross the border." A replied as his forces continue to hold the line down.
At the same time
Goshu/Aijano border
2,000 Miles South of the Sertieiert
Iawkaguare assisted by the Land of Light, Land of Darkness and Taikagure are fending off against Goshu forces. Some of the allied forces within the area are building earth walls and domes to stop attackers from coming at them while others are using Jetpacks Iwakagure stole from the Land of Sky to drop bombs and boulders on advancing Shinigami while the Shinigami fire back with Kidō blasts and using their Zanpakutos at the enemies with some armed with portable Kidō canons to shoot people out of the sky.
"How did they intercept us so fast?This isn't good? " Onoki said to his troops.
"It's almost as if they knew we would be here. We must have a rat amongst us."Kurostuchi said to her grandfather.
"I doubt it! We had everything airtight. It's more like they have someone in their ranks smarter than Shikamaru and his father amongst the ranks."Onoki explained to the two relatives of his.
"Regardless, the plan goes unchanged, we need to make sure they don't regroup with the Aijano Gotei 13."Kisutchi replied as he creates a giant earth wall.
Meanwhile at Mayuri's Lab
Mayuri is looking within his computer screens of all the battles going on with a smirk on his face.
"They didn't count on the fact I monitor my Sekaimons and the entire Dangai Precipice world did they? Thanks to their lapse in judgment, I was able to predict where they were going and was able to warn the other Shinigami divisions several hours in advance to intercept them sooner than they think. Once we secure the areas, we can begin the counter-offensive and crush those Shinobi scum once and for all and I can have a few good experiments in hand."Mayuri said to his men.
"Brillant move Captain, they would think twice before underestimating the Shinigami alliance."Akon said to Mayuri.
"If all comes down to whether I should use my brand new weapon against them, then again that's only when and if they ever make it into this lab. For now, I shall catch some rest. It's been a long night." Mayuri said to his men as he yawns.
"What about the battles, we need your assistance in intelligence ?"Akon asked his captain.
"Nemu has everything handled. She would assist you guys while I rest. Don't disturb me or else." Mayuri said to his men as he goes to his bed and rest.
50 miles south of Senkiamon point, Aijano
10:45 A.M. Konoha's forces are walking into an abandoned city within the Soul Society when they see hundreds of Shinigami coming at them.
"Shinigami? They were alerted already?" Naruto asked Kakashi.
"It seems so Naruto. Looks like we have to engage in a battle a lot earlier than expected." Kakashi said to Naruto.
"We're not even getting the chance to set up base camp within our intended area are we?" Tsunade asked her forces.
" Incoming!"Sakura shouted as giant blasts of Kidō head towards them causing them to take evasive maneuvers as the blast hits the ground causing a large explosion.
They then see hundreds of Kidō like blasts come towards them fired from Kidō cannons within the city they're about to invade alongside Shinigami using the walls and rooftops to fire Kidō Blasts of their own at the advancing Shinobi units.
" They're defenses are too much for us. " Kakashi said to the Hokage.
"Time for us to go in and bust them down. "Naruto replied as he attempts to rush in only for Sakura to grab him.
"IDIOT!" Sakura shouted as she hits him on the head.
"Ow, why you did that for? " Naruto asked her.
"You don't just go in charging into a nest of enemies without a plan. You can get killed, moron." Sakura shouted scoring Naruto for his recklessness.
"Sakura is right, the last thing you want to do is exhaust your energy so much that you end up getting captured or killed. Keep in mind they're after you as a Jinhcruiki."Kakashi explains to Naruto.
"Almost forgot about that." Naruto replied with an embarrassed look.
"What is the strategy right now? " Teujimn asked Tsunade.
"We retreat for now and form a strategy that would take down that town's defense and set up camp there." Tsunade answered as her forces retreat back to the starting point.
Kisuke's shop
10:50 A.M. Ichigo walks into the shop only to see what he thought he wouldn't see. The Shop looks like it has been ramshackle with books and items spilled across the floor and with holes and kunai all over the walls and floor. Uryu lies within a pool of his own blood as well as Chad, Kisuke and Tessai.
"No! This can't be happening! Kisuke, Tessai, Uryu, Chad! What's going on?" Ichigo asked himself only for a mysterious figure to appear to attack Ichigo with a rising uppercut but Ichigo barely evades the punch. "Who are you? What have you done with this shop...Akatsuki, you bastards return to cause more trouble. I'll end you before you begin your reign of terror." Ichigo shouted as he dashes at the mysterious man.
Ichigo comes at his opponent with a charging sword swing but the Shinobi manages to swiftly evade the blade by ducking down the path of the blade and evading more trusts coming at them.
"This bastard is quite fast, nothing less from an Akatsuki. " Ichigo thinks to himself as he then sees his opponent dash at him at high speeds with his fists within a claw like a stance."That stance... it looks familair but.." Ichigo thinks to himself as he's hit in the stomach by the Akatsuki.
"No good Ichigo..Dropping your guard like that is reckless." the mysterious Shinobi said to Ichigo as Ichigo struggles to stand from the blow coughing up saliva and puke.
"Damn that blow hurt like hell. This guy isn't playing games! " Ichigo said to himself as he prepares to fight a lot more seriously
Ichigo charges at the assistant with his oversized Knife for a Znapaukto and goes for more swift slashes and thrusts but his opponent manages to evade his attack. The opponent weaves past one of Ichigo's slashes and attempts to plant a roundhouse kick to the face but Ichigo blocks the kick with his Shikai as the opponent pushes Ichigo back a bit before knocking him back a bit with a Missle Dropkick connecting with the blade to knock Ichigo off his guard long enough for the person to strike Ichigo with a two handed claw like strike.
" Toraisei(虎の威勢Dashing Tiger)" the Shinobi chanted as flames appear around the finger tips to attempt hit Ichigo square in the chest.
"Getsuga Tensho!" Ichigo countered as he does a point blank Gesutga which creates a large explosion knocking back both combatants.
"Kisuke enough games, I've proven myself to be a match for Ichigo." the Shinobi said to Kisuke.
"Games? "Ichigo asked dumbfounded as it's revealed that all the slain bodies were portable gigals.
"Nice job, you've passed newcomer !" Kisuke said to the Shinobi.
" Wait you know this person? "Ichigo asked dumbfounded.
"Why the hell am i dressed like a fucking ninja?Why the hell do I have a voice changer machine to make my voice deep?Is this some kind of sick joke on your part to try to get me and Ichigo killed?" The mysterious Shinobi ranted as he takes off his mask and outfits shocking Ichigo.
"No way...It can't be! ...You!" Ichigo asked shocked to see who was underneath the Shinobi outfit.
"Been a while, Ichigo. A while since we fought like this !" Tatsuki said to Ichigo revealed to be the mysterious opponent Ichigo was fighting all along.

(A/N:Boy howdy was that a hell of a twist. Bet a lot of you didn't see that one coming regarding Tatsuki being the 5th wheel into the fray did you? Frankly one of the most disappointing elements of the Bleach series was the fact that they had a lot of side characters with great potential to be Fullbringers or Shinigami and squandered any chance of that. None more apparent than Karin's possible Shinigami turn going nowhere or Tatsuki despite being Orihime's closest friend ever getting powers and becoming a forgettable character despite being much more interesting and much closer to Ichigo than Chad.
Well, this fan fiction will try it''s best to fix that. Tatsuki here has powers and is going to be one of the essential characters in the quest to save Orihime. I'm not going to give away too much about Tatsuki's powers but for those who are regular readers of draconichero18's Soul Chess and Fairy Without Wings series, I'm basing part of Tatsuki's fighting style on the fullbring abilities from Soul Chess mixed with the Martial Arts of Suzaku from Fairy Without Wings with an overall mixture being pretty silmair to Sabo from One Piece.
In other words, she's a fullbring. I'm still working on some of Tatsuki's powers to disintgush them further from her Soul Chess counterpart. What's silamir to her Soul Chess counterpart is that she's essentially a glass canon and is the polar opposite of Chad's slow but powerful fighting style. Anyone willing to help flesh out Tatsuki's moveset, be my guess
Speaking of improving on so much wasted potential, I'm here to announce a brand new Fan Fiction that would not be a crossover but a retelling/rewriting of a series known as Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail is a fun series overall with mediocre to crap writing and a lot of wasted potential and characters, this can be further be shown with one character, in a nutshell, Irene Berlesion.
I fucking love Irene Berlesion as a character, for the brief time she was involved in the arc, the story quality was actually good. She was an interesting and intriguing villain within the Fairy Tail series. She also was the key lore character to the events in Fairy Tail along with Anna Heartfilla, another wasted character though Anna has it much worse.
My new fan fiction coming out very soon is called Fairy Tail Minus One. It's a fan fiction that centers mostly around Irene and Anna and later Lucy and Erza that is about rewriting, retelling and revamping Fairy Tail. Much better fighters, far less disappointing character payoffs and much better payoffs and a stronger lore. It's also an inspiration to another one of draconichero18's works Fairy Without Wings, except this isn't a crossover, this is Fairy Tail done right.
Don't worry, I'm not going to abandon Bleach Shippuden while working on this fan fiction. If anything it's because of the ideas flowing in my head that has encouraged me to start writing much more frequently in general and the next chapter would be out soon in which we start getting into the start of the chaotic war that would ensure and learn how Tatsuki became a Fullbringer. Also added a few comical moments in the chapter to keep it from being too grim and serious. )
