Proud green mantis
Beautiful helper moth
Blaze in lore
From Clowns to Courage
Former circus folk
They shed their gags and freed
An island from doubt
They frightened away
Bully grasshoppers -
Made them disappear
Mantis and Moth
Old magician
Summons exotic mysteries
Prays for miracles
Old bringer of grace
Pays miracles forward
Flies for mystery
Magic
Manny proclaims
"I will never let you go"
A husband's promise
Gypsy declares
"I will always be your wings"
A wife's promise
Age of Love Over the Years
Chrysalis to earth
They work as one timeless act -
bound to each other.
A/N: I originally desired to write this into a one-shot, but my muse refused, and so it directed me to write haikus for Manny and Gypsy. This was a prompt originally written for the Disney_Kink group on LiveJournal, but I liked it enough to want to write it. More of these prompts will come about as I attempt to focus on my writing this year, but they will come from various canons and they're not all going to be romantic. Some of them will be platonic or even non-romantic in general if I fancy it. Enjoy these haikus of the mantis and moth magic team!
