The tall, handsome man shot up in bed, heart pounding loudly, dark brown eyes wide and panicked as pale, slender fingers grazed his lower stomach where the phantom wound from his nightmare had been.

"Shh, shh," A calming, soothing voice came from the darkness as I pulled him into my loving, affectionate embrace. The steady, rhythmic beating of my heart became his own personal lullaby as I slowly rocked us back forth, placing soft, fleeting kisses to his template and shell of his ear that sent a fuzzy, conforming warmth through him.

"You're ok, my handsome, sexy man. You're safe in my arms, right where you need to be." I assured, warmth and an overwhelming amount of love in my voice as I tightened my arms around him protectively. He closed his eyes, taking a few deep breathes as he willed the fuzzy images and waves of panic and fear from his mind. When he re-opened them, he was greeted with the familiar, comforting near darkness of our bedroom, the red rope light edging the floor in a warm, welcoming crimson glow. A dark brow furrowed in concentration as he noticed the atmosphere seemed to shimmer and crackle around us, his skin tingling pleasantly.

"Wh—?" He whispered in awed amazement, the sensation seeming familiar, but couldn't place where he'd felt it before. Laying against the warm, safe body behind him, he closed his eyes, allowing himself to absorb the sensation before analyzing it.

He felt desperate and longing, a hollow, aching feeling within him as he reached out to touch the young woman before him. Their fingertips barely brushing against each other before the image shook with a deep rumble, shattering into a million pieces like a broken mirror.

'It wasn't me who's felt this before.' He thought, realization settling in like a cool, gentle breeze. 'It was…my….my character.' Dark brown eyes as he titled his head upward, my dark gray eyes gleaming knowingly in the dim light.

"Y-You knew, didn't you?" He breathed in awe as a bright, loving smile graced my face.

"Of course," I giggled slyly before leaning down to capture his lips in a gentle, warm, reassuring kiss. "it's my job to know whenever my sweet man has a nightmare. Our Bond doesn't tell me what it's about though. Do you want to talk about it, honey?" I asked, stroking his soft black hair as I turned him to face me.

"Your incredible," My husband whispered as he locked his arms around me, a hint of reverence in his tone, before telling me about his nightmare.

"I'm sorry…I'm sorry we weren't lovers, I'm sorry I didn't even know you existed." He finished heartbrokenly, his stunning, hypnotizing dark brown eyes filled with unshed tears as he buried his face in my chest.

"Aw," I cooed, padding and rubbing his back I slowly rocked us once more. "Sweetie, that wasn't you. It was your character, remember. It's not your fault." I assured.

"Hey baby," I cooed softly a while later. Rich, watery, gorgeous dark brown eyes met mine, "how about we get out of the Star Wars world? As far away as we can." I suggested, wiped his tears and placing light, gentle kisses there.

"Yea…yea, that sounds good. That sounds great, actually." My husband said, eyes brightening and losing their troubled look. "But where would we go?"

"I'm glad you asked." I replied, smirking. Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath, envisioning where I wanted us to go. I could feel the frigid breeze nipping my skin and feel the snow underfoot as I purred happily.

After leaving the strange, confusing world behind, I curled up in my husband's strong, warm embrace in the snow of WinterClan territory as it billowed gently around us.
