Ash and Meowth a family that sticks together

In this tale ash lost his mom in a fire and was rescued by Meowth and they have been together as a family ever since

I do not own pokemon and this is just a one shot and not sure if anyone has done this before.

The streets were cold and covered in snow.Ash and Meowth had no one as they looked for food."Hey Meowth thanks for saving me from that fire"Ash said.Meowth nodded as he looked for a place they could stay warm.Ash hands felt cold as they came to a park."Ash you okay"Meowth asked.Ash nodded fine not wanting to worry his buddy.

Meowth felt ash's head "I think your starting to get a fever"He said.Ash chuckled and stepped back."I am fine meowth trust me"He said.Meowth took ash's hand and saw a poster new member's of team rocket tryouts.Ash looked at the poster "Meowth they steal pokemon"He said.Meowth sighed "First I know , but at least will have shelter and a warm place to stay"He said.

Ash bowed his head in defeat as he followed Meowth.Meowth pointed to the old move theater the poster said.Ash and Meowth went inside and saw people trying out for team rocket.James and Jessie saw the pokemon and kid."Who are you two " they asked."I am Meowth and this is my brother Ash , I saved his life and we have been family since"He said."A talking Meowth"James and Jessie said.

Ash smiled "Nice to meet you both but what are your names"He asked.Jessie ruffled his hair "I am Jessie nice to meet you Ash and Meowth"She said noticing how cold he was.James noticed Ash was shivering and pulled Jessie to the side."I don't think they should be here"He said.Jessie nodded in agreement "You have an Idea James"She asked.James nodded making a call.

Ash and Meowth wondered what Jessie and James were up too.The team rocket grunt looked at the two and Gave Ash and Meowth a number and then handed a number to Jessie and James.Ash and Meowth took seats on the theater seats.Jessie took a seat next to Ash "I know you noticed James was on the phone , he was asking his mom and dad to adopted you both"She said.

Ash stood up and looked to Meowth "What do you think if they say yes Meowth"He said.Meowth was lost in thought."Whatever Ash wants to do as his friend and family I'll agree"Meowth said.Ash hugged Meowth as James got off the phone."Sorry but they were not home"James said.Ash and Meowth sighed as it was there turn.

Jessie and James nodded and went with them.Ash noticed along with Meowth ,Jessie and James standing next to them."Will be your family and do the team rocket try out with you Ash and Meowth"Jessie said.Ash noticed Tears as did Meowth."Thanks"Ash and Meowth said as Jessie hugged them.The team rocket grunt cought "Now then to become a member of team rocket "Steal this pokeball before It falls to the floor.

Ash ran as did Meowth and both caught it as Jessie and James broke thier fall."Ash , Meowth , Jessie , and James you all pass welcome to team rocket the grunt said.Ash took the uniform as Did Jessie , and James.

Ash and Meowth joined Jessie and James for some food at a diner."Ash and Meowth will look out for you both"Jessie and James said.Ash nodded smiling as did Meowth."No matter what were all family now"Ash said.Meowth "That's right Ash and to what our future holds"He said.Jessie and James smiled "To the future"Both said.
