Mischievous Mates

Recap: Mara is free from her bonds but not completely free of Loki. We just read the German fight and the brotherly bashing. Now Mara is exhausted and in need of Puck, Loki is speaking in riddles (no shock) and the other three men. Well they are filling the forest with their testosterone while Natasha brings the jet around to pick them all up.

Chapter 6: Bring the Hammer Down

No One's POV:

Thor and Iron Man crash into the forest. Thor rolls himself up. Iron Man is still standing but keeps his distance. The helmet opens.

"Do not touch me again!" Thor shouts

"Then don't take my stuff." Stark huffed.

"You have no idea what you're dealing with." Thor retorts

"Shakespeare in the park? Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?" Stark mocks and prances around to add emphasis to his words.

"This is beyond you, metal man. Loki will face Asgardian justice!" Thor ignores the taunt and continues to argue with Stark.

"He gives up the Cube, he's all yours. Until then, stay out of my way... tourist." Stark orders and the Iron Man helmet clamp up and he walks away. In one quick move, Thor pulls Mjölnir, throws it, and knocks Iron Man clear across into a tree. Thor raises his hand. Mjölnir flies back to his hand. Thor swings the hammer, summoning a ray of energy. Iron Man stands up and from his hand boosters, a blast of energy that knocks Thor on his ass. Iron Man flies back up and knocks Thor into a tree. Thor, kneeling on the ground, pulls Mjölnir to his hand, raises it to the skies and pulls in lighting and thunder! Thor points the hammer at Iron Man and the outpouring of bolts lighting increases in intensity. Iron Man falls back.

"Power at 400% capacity." Jarvis informs Tony.

"How about that?" Tony mutters to himself then fires away from his hand boosters, pushing Thor to his knees. Like two gunslingers ready to draw, both Thor and Iron Man fly towards each other and meet in the middle and ascend. The two battle. Iron Man grasps Thor, elbowing him and smashing him into the side of a mountain. Thor leaps off the mountain and takes Iron Man with him.

Thor and Iron Man crash right back down, smashing down every tree possible. Iron Man yanks Thor right up. Thor grabs both hands boosters and begins to crush them. Tony quickly charges as much energy as he can and shoots energy in Thor's face. Thor falls back, losing his stance. Iron Man headbutts Thor, with his gold-titanium alloy helmet. Then Thor headbutts him with his head and sends Iron Man across the forest. Iron Man boosters up and flies back at Thor, grabbing him by the arm and cape and swings him into another tree. Thor looks up, ready. Thor runs with all his patience out the window. Iron Man swings and misses, giving Thor the momentum to grab him, lift him and smash him down hard. Thor summons back Mjölnir to his hand.

Just as he's about to put the hammer down, Iron Man uses his hand boosters to skid across the ground and trip Thor over. Standing up, Thor looks for him, but from behind him, Iron Man crashes into his back. Thor stands facing Iron Man. Ready to pounce...

Captain America's shield ricochets off both Thor and Iron Man, stopping them. They look up and see Captain America standing on top of a fallen tree with the shield back in hand.

"Hey! That's enough! Now, I don't know what you plan on doing here." Captain America demands.

"I've come here to put an end to Loki's schemes!" Thor responded.

"Then prove it! Put the hammer down." Captain America states.

"Um, yeah, no! Bad call! He loves his hammer!" Tony shouts. Thor backhands Iron Man. Thor, losing all tolerance with this sentential of liberty, raises the hammer.

"You want me to put the hammer down?" Thor questions. Thor leaps high into the air, raising that fucking hammer. Captain America crouches down and holds up his shield. Thor brings that hammer down onto the shield and a massive implosion of light reacts to the vibranium shield creating a massive shockwave that blows up anything standing within a mile. Iron Man stands up, looking around like `holy shit.' Lying right next to him is Cap, who never takes his eye off Thor. Thor looks at both men.

Mara's POV:

"What did I tell you?" I rhetorically ask Loki who is standing next to me. We have been watching this testosterone fight go on for too long.

"Thor seems to have lost his touch." He replies with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. I hope this didn't give him any malicious ideas.

"Well, let's get over there before the fighting gets out of hand again." I mutter and start towards the three with Loki in tow. We make it over in time for the three to stand up from the aftermath of the vibranium shockwave. Idiots.

"Are we done here?" Captain America asks.

"I say Amen to that Captain." I agree and Natasha pulls the jet up behind me making my hair fly everywhere. "Would you gentlemen care to take care of this problem? Not really a question by the way." I say and make a 180 to head straight into the jet. I pass by the holding area where I was before. I am sitting with Nat this time. I simply do not give a damn if I am not supposed to. I give her an exasperated look before taking a seat in the co-pilot's chair. She lifts a brow in question. "Don't even ask. All men are stupid." Then I close my eyes for the duration of our trip to the helicarrier.
