All-Out Brawl

Note: The following is a rough outline of what was to happen in this chapter. I apologise for not being able to write the full chapter as intended, however, life has proven hectic and along with my plans to start writing original stories, I don't have the time needed to finish all my stories. I didn't want to leave them abandoned, so I decided to give a rough outline of the story's events so that you could see how it would have progressed and ended. I hope that you understand. Maybe one day I might come back and fully finish them as intended, but as that's up in the air, I thought that I'd end things this way rather than leave unfinished. Thank you for your time.
Chapter 6 (Rough Outline)
The sky erupts under a volley of titanic collisions between Goku and Superman.
Their bloodlust reaches boiling point. Each blow they deliver threatens to bring the other to his knees. Yet, they continue to battle, with the Saiyan gradually increasing his Kiaoken until he is at twenty times the output from when he first transformed. The growth of his power and speed catches Superman off guard momentarily, but the Kryptonian is quick to keep up and the two appear to be on even grounds as the others watch on helplessly.
Kratos pins Ares to the ground, demanding that the God of War release his hold on the two fighters. But Ares refuses no matter what Kratos does to threaten him. He marvels as the display that shatters the heavens and shocks the others by revealing that the two have still yet to reach their full power. Knowing that time is short, Willow tries to form a plan that can snap Goku and Superman out of their spell.
Believing that they are being influenced by hate and violence, Bruce suggests the possibility of countering it by showing them the things they love. Though Willow is hesitant about tampering with other people's minds, she knows that there is no other choice. The planet quakes beneath them under the stress of the battle. As Willow prepares to meditate, Kratos offers the idea of showing them images of their respective families. Willow agrees and focuses all her magic into travelling through their subconscious minds, travelling through planes of reality that her almost indescribable. Her body trembles and a thin layer of sweat forms over her face. Bruce sits beside her, taking her hand for comfort and support.
A shockwave ripples across the horizon after another clash of fists. Superman scoffs at the Saiyan's efforts. ''I getting bored. I think it's time I ended this.''
Goku chuckles darkly. ''I was thinking the same thing. If you're not impressed, let me show you a power further beyond a God's.''
They prepare for one final attack when they are both suddenly struck with visions that render them immobilised. Flashes of their lives with loved ones pass before their eyes. An aura of darkness oozes out of their beings, slipping through the cracks in the ground. Enraged, Ares attempts to strike Willow down while she is meditating, but he fails to get past Kratos and Neo. Working together, the two use brawn and strategy to make short work of the God of War, beating him to the ground until he bursts into flames, withering down until the last weak flicker before disappearing.
Goku and Superman snap out of Ares's trace instantly. Once everyone has a chance to catch their breath, they see a pillar of light rise out from the ground where Ares's statue once stood. Pulsing with energy, it shoots a stream of light over the horizon, signalling where to go next. They heal with the help of Goku's Senzu Beans before departing, staring grimly into Goku's palm when they see they only have two left. Their situation feels dire with every passing moment. Unsure of what to expect next, they promise to watch each other's backs, knowing that their true strength comes when working together.
Their journey was surprisingly uneventful as they followed the light. Before long, they are guided to a magnificent structure that encompasses the land. It was a palace fit for the mightiest of kings. It rose into the heavens, emitting an aura that left everyone in the group shaking.
''Should we knock?'' Bruce asks, trying to lighten the mood.
Suddenly, they feel a presence from inside the palace and it renders them speechless. There is something, or someone, with a power unlike anything they've felt before. The doors of the palace slowly open and a towering individual steps outside to welcome them with a sinister tone.
''It is such an honour to finally meet you all in the flesh. I have been waiting.''
Superman's eyes widen as he gazes upon the figure. ''Darkseid?''
The figure smirks. ''Not quite.''
Sweat drops rain down Bruce's temple. ''And I take it you're not Thanos either?''
''My name is Thanoseid. Embrace it, for it is the name of your end.''
As Thanoseid revels in the fear his power strikes within the group, he explains that everything which has transpired has been all his doing. He created this world as a domain where he could summon the strongest warriors from across the multiverse and absorbing their power for his own purpose of reaching the one place where he can truly reign supreme across all space and time…World Prime. With the group's battles against the illusions constructed across the terrain, he has almost completed his goal.
''All I need is one last fight,'' Thanoseid's lip curls into a dark smile. ''And there is not a more fitting end than to ascend to that power myself. Allow me to show you the power of a true supreme being.''
Before anyone can even sense what has happened, Thanoseid delivers a deadly punch to Superman's chest, pummelling the Kryptonian to the ground…knocking him unconscious with one blow.
With no time to overcome the shock of seeing one of their strongest heroes defeated so effortlessly, the rest of the group are forced to fight back. Thanoseid makes little work of them. He walks through Willow's magic as it explodes all around him, sending her flying with just an outburst of his aura. Kratos and Neo launch another coordinated attack as they had done against Ares earlier, but Thanoseid proves himself to be in another league. With a swath of his hand, the two of them can't stay on their feet, becoming more craters in the ground. Even the awakened Hulk can't make Thanoseid budge with his powerful punches. A single flick of the wrist, slapping the Hulk across the cheek, is enough to end the fight.
As this display of raw, dominant strength unfolds, Goku remains flying above watching Thanoseid's every move. The dark Titan floats into the air to confront the Saiyan, taunting him by saying he's not up for the challenge. For a moment, Goku remains silent…until he is enveloped in a brilliant aura of silver. With the full power of Ultra Instinct, Goku goes on the offensive and surprises everyone who has remained conscious by landing a few strikes on Thanoseid, knocking him back.
Thanoseid retaliates, but Goku evades the titan's attacks. Hope returns to the group as they watch Goku seemingly gain the upper hand. Each punch and kick from the Saiyan rattle their bones as if they were the ones on the receiving end. Yet, Thanoseid appeared untroubled.
Suddenly, he grabs Goku's hand and crushes it. The sound of bones snapping and blood gushing through the gaps of the titan's fingers makes the heroes' world darker. Goku cries out in pain and is unable to do anything to stop Thanoseid from finishing the struggle with a powerful jab. The group lay helpless in the debris of their beating while Thanoseid proclaims victory and declares that he now has enough power to cross dimensions and travel to World Prime.
It all seems bleak, until Superman rises to his feet, refusing to surrender. Spurred on by the superhero's determination, the others formulate a new strategy. Willow has a plan to use her magic to help each of them reach their full potential. Though Kratos is reluctant at the assistance, and Bruce is unsure about unleashing an unrestrained Hulk, they know they have no other choice.
''Okay,'' Goku said. ''While you do that, Superman and I are going to try something else.''
''What do you have in mind?'' Superman asked.
Goku turned to him with a confident smile. ''We're going to use fusion.''
