Camus looked at the faces in the front of him. He could see every question they wanted to ask right now, and he knew he and Milo couldn't answer them. It was so frustrating to know what would happen and not being able to help them. But what they two could do? If something would prevent Degel or Kardia from dying, then probably he and Milo would disappear. Yes, it could change the whole history, with the information about this Holy War they could destroy the body of Hades two hundreds years earlier. They could prevent the next Holy War, Saga maybe wouldn't kill Shion, Poseidon would be asleep, and they would never ally with Hades. Everything would not happen… because there would be any future Saints they knew.

Was it selfish? To be afraid of dying right now, disappearing from the history, probably with Milo, but in order to end the Holy War much earlier? Camus didn't want to die just now, when he had his beloved Milo by his side, when he had peaceful life in the future. Before the Holy War he had only one reason to live – be the Saint of Athena, protect Her, work under Her command. But now he wanted to live for Milo. He loved his new life and he didn't want to lose it right now. When he was… When he was so happy…

"Before we start…" he murmured under his nose, still hesitating. "I have to warn you, that we won't tell you too much about your War with Hades. It could change the whole history if you would know too much."

Everyone from the past looked at him surprised a little. Milo sighed.

"I know, that it could help you with winning this time, but also it could have really significant effect on our Holy War," added Camus.

"What do you mean…?" asked Shion.

This time it was Camus who sighed deeply.

"I won't hide it from you; most of Gold Saints will die in the war with the Underworld's King. If we tell you when and how, you could try to prevent this. And they would survive. They would live till the next Holy War. And that could mean…"

"Most of your friends would disappear," finished the Pope. "I noticed that most of the Gold Saints have the same soul since the myth ages. When one of them dies, his soul is reborn alongside with Athena's next reincarnation. I know that. So, I suppose most of your friends from the future have the same souls as our Saints. And if one of our ones would have the chance of living till the next centuries, your friend will disappear."

"Yes, most likely."

"It would be a little risky to tell us everything. Everything could end in many ways. Some of us could survive, but we could not win this Holy War. And that could affect your times. For example, one of your friends would disappear, this one who was the most important in winning. What if he would disappear? You would be defeated."

Camus nodded, trying to not look at Degel. He could feel that his predecessor figured out that he would die in this war. Degel was really smart and it wasn't the hardest thing to notice.

"But what if we gain the knowledge, who would be the reincarnation of Hades in this Century?" asked Shion. "We could end everything before it even happens…"

"And what would you do, Shion? Kill innocent person? Lock him in the Sanctuary? Even if we could prevent Hades of taking another body, we don't know if he wouldn't choose someone else," Pope Sage said harshly.

Aries Shion gulped, abashed.

"I'm very sorry," he said quietly.

"Then, what could you tell us about our war?" asked Lady Athena, looking at them with worry. "Is there something you could tell without putting you in danger?"

Camus smiled slightly, taking a quick look at his lover. Milo smiled to him too, still feeling a little sad about how Camus treated him a while ago.

"Actually we have no idea what we could tell you… Everything could change the future," murmured Camus, trying to not look into the piercing eyes of Degel.

Pope Sage sighed with the disappointment.

"But could you at least tell if we would win this time? Is there any hope for us?" he asked, looking at them a little worried.

Could they tell them that? Wouldn't it make them too confident with their fights? What if they would be more reckless, than they should be? Should he and Milo make the bet?

"You will," said Milo before Camus was able to end his thoughts.

The future Aquarius almost gasped, waiting for something bad to happen, but fortunately everything just stayed the way it was. So after a long and very tense while he sighed with the relief.

"It is actually all we could tell you. I really would like to prevent many things in this war, but even revealing who will survive could have bad effect on out times.

"Why? It could be good news…" started Shion.

"Not exactly, Shion," murmured the Pope. "If you would know you would survive, what would you do? I think you would feel ashamed of being the only survivor and would try fight harder. And then you could die. And what if you will have really important meaning in the events in the future?"

Camus gulped, almost trembling from the tense. Any of them, Shion and the Pope, had no idea how close the Head of the Sanctuary was to the truth…

"Ugh, I still can't believe that you couldn't tell us too much…" murmured Shion, when he, Degel and two guests from the future were walking down the stairs towards the twelfth Temple of the Sanctuary.

"Yes, it is a shame, but I can understand your fear about changing the past. So don't worry. We at least have now the hope," agreed Degel, looking at Camus and Milo, walking in front of them. "It is so incredible; they are here, two Saints from the future!"

"Well, I'm really glad to hear this. Believe me, I would be glad to help you all, but… But it could kill not only me and Milo, but even other our friends," added Camus, entering the Temple of the Pisces. Its owner was standing in the shadows, looking at them and smiled slightly, when Degel and Shion greeted him. The future Scorpio Saint looked a little surprised at the beautiful man, when he turned around and disappeared in the darkness of the hallway.

"Ugh, he isn't too social…" Milo murmured quietly.

"Don't mind him. He was always like that. Albafica always refused to be in close contact with us, because his blood is a poison," said Degel, looking sadly at the place where his companion disappeared.

"Poison? Why?" Milo asked.

"His roses are poisoned. And to be able to live with them, his immunological system had to accommodate. His blood is more poisonous than his flowers," added the Aquarius, walking outside the building. "I thought you know that. You mentioned that most of your companions are almost the same like ours, so I suppose future Pisces Saint uses poisoned roses as well."

"Yes, he does…" murmured Camus, looking at the eleventh Temple that was standing at the hill. "But his blood isn't poisonous.

"No? Then how your companion could live with his roses?" Shion couldn't be surprised more. His own friend, Pisces Albafica was always afraid of being too close to them, because he could kill just with the touch. Maybe there was some way to help him?

"Actually… We had no idea," answered Milo. "His blood is a common blood, but surely his roses are poisonous. Sorry, but we can't help your friend. We just don't know how."

"Oh, I would like to know how future Saint of Aries is…"murmured Shion, what cased Milo to stumble. "Tell me about him. Is he like me?"

Milo and Camus exchanged quick looks.

"Yes, you could say he is almost like you…" whispered Camus after a long while. "But he is a lot calmer, and don't like people. He is mostly recluse, spending his time in Jamir."

"Really? Well, it is kind of different than me. I like to be there, and I like the presence of my companions," said Shion with a smile. "Never mind, even if we are the same soul, we could be different…"

"So, Camus," started Degel, when they were close to the entrance of the eleventh Temple, "as my soul, I suppose you like books…"

Milo laughed loudly. Camus looked at him with consternation.

"Like books? For Athena's name, it is too nice word. He is crazy about books!" he whispered, still laughing, and trying to catch breath.

Camus shook his head and sighed.

"Yes, I like books. I was going to ask you if I may see yours, but since you started…"

"Oh, it is great. But I suppose you read already all of the books I have…"

"It is not so certain. In the passing time, most of them could be destroyed. There are not too many books left in the Sanctuary," murmured Camus, knowing that most of them were lost, when in this Holy War part of the Sanctuary was destroyed.

Milo sighed. Now, if Degel had more books than Camus, the future Aquarius would spend all his days on reading them…

"Back already?" they heard ironic smirk, coming from the shadows. After a while they saw Scorpio Kardia, leaning his back onto one of the columns. "Everyone fooled?"

Degel sighed loudly.

"Don't start again, Kardia."

"Why? I see this small trick with our Clothes convinced your mind and eyes, dear friend," said Kardia, smiling rapaciously, looking at Camus and Milo. "Do you really think that I would believe you just because my and Degel's Clothes responded to your touches?"

"Lady Athena believes them, Kardia…" started Shion, but loud chuckle interrupted him.

"So what? She could believe in whatever she wants. I need something more than beautiful tale about how they won the Holy War and words of a little girl, who don't know how to defend herself."

"Kardia!" Degel said with the wrath. "Watch your words!"

But the Scorpio Saint ignored him, pointing at Milo and Camus.

"Fight with me! I want to fight with one of you, so I could tell if you are friends or foes!"

Milo snorted under his nose and smiled. This smile was so like Kardia's one, that for a while Camus wasn't sure which one was his lover.

"Fine. I will fight," said the future Scorpio Saint.

"Milo!" This time it was Camus who growled irritated.

Kardia's smiled widened.

"I hoped you will say that." Kardia turned away and headed to the exit. Milo followed him, still having that wild smile on his lips and dangerous light inside his eyes.

"I can't believe! They are gonna fight!" said Camus, not able to move. "How Milo could accept that? And how Kardia could not believe in Athena's words?"

Degel sighed in the accompaniment of Shion's chuckle.

"Don't worry, Camus. Kardia has faith in Lady Athena's words. But it is still Kardia. He has his own way of trusting people. He just has to convince himself that you are not enemies. Could you believe that before I gained his friendship, he almost killed me four times?"

Shion laughed.

"Oh, I remember that. He was sending his Needle at you every time you wanted to help him," he said.

Camus shook his head. What was wrong with these times?

Milo knew that almost everyone gathered here, at the arena to watch their match. He could see many Saints and trainees, at the corner of his eyes could see even a few Gold armors. He had no idea how this information reached them all, but it seemed that rumors were spreading really quickly in this Sanctuary. It was faster than Aphrodite running away from cockroach and it was really big stunt. Milo also was sure, that in this crowd was Camus, observing him carefully. He could feel his calm and now really cold cosmo, emitting from the tribune. The whispers were spreading around the whole area, it seemed that everyone were excited about this upcoming fight. Even the air was tense pretty much.

But all of these Milo noticed with the edge of his own nerves that were taut at limits. Now his whole mind was focused on the man in front of him. His eyes were fixed upon the blue eyes of Kardia, who was standing few meters away, at the other end of the arena. His opponent already materialized his red and sharp needle, and with ironic smile was looking at Milo. This look was wild and almost crushing, drilling his body with physical strength. Milo for a while couldn't bear this look, it was clear Kardia would be tight opponent.

"Scared?" he heard low whisper of his predecessor.

Milo smirked awfully, feeling the vibrations inside his tense muscles. He knew this fight would give him unforgettable fun, and he was sure that soon his own mind will accommodate in this match with the Scorpio Saint.

"I suggest you to wear your Cloth, Kardia if you want to survive," he talked back to his opponent.

Kardia's smile widened.

"I like this spirit. It's like mine," he murmured with delight.

Milo attacked first. He used his top speed, trying to distract Kardia, and he sent two Scarlet Needles in the place when the Scorpio Saint was standing. But the red, poisoned strokes hit the empty place and the next moment Milo felt the sharp Needle on his own throat.

"Sorry, but not good enough," he heard low whisper in his ear. In a blink of the eye, Milo freed himself and stopped again at the other end of the arena. He was sure that Kardia just wanted to show him that he, Milo of the Scorpio shouldn't be so full of himself. But Milo didn't use his full strength too; he had still many trumps in his sleeves.

He focused his mind more and creating the magnetic waves he tried to distract Kardia. He wasn't sure about this move; it was most likely that the past Scorpio Saint could use it too. And he wasn't certain if it would work. This attack helped him in fight with Hyoga, but Camus' disciple was lower rank than him, so it was possible that the magnetic waves could affect Bronze Saints in the significant rate, but the Gold Saint...

But it seemed that it was useful, Kardia raised his hand to his head and frowned, like something was bothering him. Milo could see a grimace on his face and slight lack of understanding about the situation he was in. Milo smiled and this time using his most top speed inflicted his Scarlet Needle. After a while he heard very satisfactorily moan of pain that escaped from behind Kardisa's lips. But… But he saw, just moment before his Needle got to its destination, a slight smile on his opponent's face and the light of satisfaction in the wild eyes of the Scorpio Saint. It was like…

"He…" murmured Milo to himself, being surprised. "He didn't defend himself, knowing that it will hit him… Like he wanted to be stroke…"

"Heh, nice" Kardia snorted under his nose, smiling but at the same time wincing from the pain he felt. "I can feel it. It is my needle. It is my attack, though more powerful. But…! We will fight anyway!" Kardia screamed with the crazy look on his face and the smile that could have only the Angel of Destruction on his face just before killing the whole world.

Milo took a few steps back, looking at this craziness inside the blue eyes of Kardia, but before he could realize his opponent disappeared. Next second he felt fire, yes, fire in his right arm when the blood started to come out.

"Agrh!" Milo growled from the burning pain he felt. He could expect Kardia would fight to the fullest, without even thinking with who he was fighting. It was a little naïve from Milo's side, after all his Needle wasn't at his full strength. But… it was good. Milo wanted to fight to the fullest. It would be interesting to fight particularly with himself. To feel his own techniques on his skin, to feel that pain, the pain that his opponents were feeling just before their death.

It was exciting… So exciting that he felt he was loosing to his own instinct again. He wanted to fight, he wanted to strike. He wanted to fight to the fullest. At that moment he could see only the face, his own face with the smirk of the excitement, he could see the blue eyes full of the madness. And he could see on the features of his enemy the desire to kill. Yes, killing was something he was born for. He should kill, he had to kill. Every enemy in the front of his eyes should die. Especially these ones with that cocky expression on their faces…

Everything disappeared. He could only feel the burning pain in his body every time Kardia succeeded in hitting him. He could feel also the excitement about this fight; that was all. The tribune disappeared for him, only the pain and excitement had the matter. And these moans when his own Scarlet Needle was tearing apart the clothes and skin of his enemy; through this whole fight he was able to hear the sound of falling blood, the drops were crumbling against the dusty ground, making small, red craters. He had no idea how many Needles his enemy received already, but he made sure that this fight wouldn't end so quickly. He was so frustrated after this… this failure in his own times, and now he wanted to fight, only fight, to free his frustration and kill this stubborn enemy in the front of his eyes. It was so wonderful to bath his Needle in the blood again, and he really didn't want to end this pleasure so soon. His own blood was pulsing inside his head and muscles, making him to shiver all the time. He wanted to howl from the excitement, howl like an animal.

He couldn't even think normally, it was like his instinct was controlling his mind and body. He even forgot where he was, and why he was there, it lost the matter for him. Only the present moment was important, only his strikes, the time measured by the falling drops of the blood and the pulse of his heart. He could even not notice when he would kill his opponent. If the enemy would die, he could only pick another one and fight more and more and more to the end of his own existence…

"Enough," sharp voice reached his ears at the same time when the fist of the ice threw him away a few meters from his position.

Milo growled angrily and looked inside the cold eyes that pierced him with the strength of the icebreaker. Camus look was cold like steel and for a while Milo thought he was looking inside the eyes of the death.

"Enough, Milo."
