Milo, the Saint form the future, who since a few long months was living with his lover two hundred years before someone even heard about him, stopped in the front of big, gold doors that headed to the Audience Chamber. His beloved Camus stood beside him, time to time looking at his face with worry.

It was the time. Behind these doors they would finally know if there existed any way to go back to their original age.

Actually Milo was really scared of this answer. He really didn't want to hear "There is no way back, you have to stay here for the rest of your lives". It would be too much for him to handle. He liked these times, but he missed his friends from the future. Oh, of course most of these Saints were really alike to these from the XX century, but it wasn't the same. So what if they looked alike? Their personalities were different! Manigoldo wasn't DeathMask, El Cid wasn't Shura. Actually even Dohko wasn't Dohko anymore. The Libra Saint changed pretty much for these two centuries; in the future he wasn't so cheerful like now. He just took the situation about being "Master" too serious.

He missed them. He really missed. He wanted finally to talk with Mu, to joke with Kanon, being crushed by the friendly hug of Aldebaran. He wanted again to run away from Aphrodite, who loved to use them as the puppets for his hairdressing practice. He just dreamed to have sparring with Aiolia, sparring that could last for a whole day, until they fell exhausted. He just dreamed to hear some strange lecture from Shaka. To mess with DeathMask, see Mu eating sweets as a madman. To hear an overwhelming laugh of the Taurus, have a friend's argue with the Leo. To have a long party with all of his friends. To see Hyoga running toward Camus with the smile on his young face.

He couldn't do that in these times. He and Camus were intruders. Maybe they managed to create some bonds with Degel, Kardia, Shion and Dohko, but it was easy. They knew many things about these Saints. But there was almost nothing between the others. They were strangers for each other. Albafica was separating himself from the rest of the Sanctuary, El Cid was spending whole days on sharpening his Excalibur. Milo didn't know them. He didn't feel so comfortable in their presence. And he didn't like that.

And the most of all, he wanted to return because of Camus…

A few days ago he betrayed his lover. He kissed with Degel and for all these days he didn't regret it. He wanted more. And it was dangerous. He was afraid that something more could happen. That he would break some limits. That he would leave Camus for the current Aquarius Saint. It was something he hated to do. He could hurt Camus with that. But Degel was so attractive with his personality, that Milo couldn't hold his desires. And what would happen to Camus, if he would be left alone? What would happen if they could be able to go back to the future? What then? What should they do with something he destroyed? Or what if Camus would refuse to go back? Or say the he, Milo of the Scorpio should stay here with the man he loved and never show his face in the future again?

He was really cursing the day he and Camus came here. If they would be more careful in that fight, they could be still in the future. Camus wouldn't be swallowed with this new life, and he, Milo wouldn't kiss Degel. Any of these things wouldn't happen. They would be still a happy couple…

With a long sigh he pushed the doors and alongside with Camus, he entered the Audience Chamber, where Lady Athena was waiting for them with their fate in her hands.

"Camus, Milo, I'm glad you are here so quickly," said the Pope, after they bowed before him and small lady, sitting on the throne.

She smiled to them radiantly, but they could see the sadness inside her beautiful eyes. Both of them felt chills over their bodies. It was really bad sign.

"I suppose you know why I called you both today," she started hesitantly, still looking worried.

They nodded, expecting the worst.

"You seem to be really worried, both of you…" she murmured sadly. She still had no idea how she should tell them what had to be told. "I'm sorry, but I don't have good news for you. At this moment we don't know how to send you back to the future. For now it seems there is no way back," she finally said.

Milo gasped. So, the thing he was afraid of to happen just became the reality…?

"There is no way back…?" he whispered empty.

"Oh, of course we will be still trying, don't worry. But right now you have to be prepared, that you will stay here forever…" added Pope Sage, looking at them. He couldn't tell how Camus felt right now, but Milo was clearly disappointed to hear this news.

"Yes, we will try our best," Lady Athena smiled to them, trying to give these two lost Saints some hope.

Camus sighed deeply.

"We are really grateful for your words. And for everything you did for us, Lady Athena. But don't be sad about this. It has no matter if here, or in the future - we are still your Saints and we will fulfill our duties as the Gold Knights of Athena," he said, hearing Milo murmuring some words of agreement. "Please, don't distract yourself from far more important things than our situation. It is our fault for being too careless, so it is our duty to find the way back by ourselves. Right now there is a Holy War just ahead, and it is more important to get ready and be prepared for everything. I and Milo will take care of ourselves."

Lady Athena frowned.

"But I can see how hard t is for you to be here. You are far away from your friends. And if you would stay any longer, you would be drawn into the new war. I don't want you to suffer anymore because of Hades. You suffered enough in your times."

"There is no need of being worried about us," added Milo, for a while waking up from his sad thoughts. "We are your Saints and we will fight by your side as long as we have our lives. If we will be still here when the Holy war starts, be sure me and Camus would be the first to fight."

What… What else he could say? Of course he didn't want to fight in another war with Hades. He liked to fight, sometimes he missed it. But the Holy War… He never wanted to see another one. He had too cruel memories about the one in the future.

Lady Athena looked at them a little worried.

"You did enough in your own Holy war. I will do everything to protect you from our one. It is something we have to do by our own. Fight and win it."

Camus nodded with a stubborn look. Milo knew that if it came to the Holy War, the future Aquarius would ready to give his life in the fight.

"Don't worry, young Saints. There is always hope," added the Pope with voice telling them that they are dismissed.

The future Saint of Aquarius sighed and alongside with Milo, he left the chamber. He expected such a thing. He was ready to hear there was no way back to their times. But of course he would really like to return to their Sanctuary some day.

With little sad eyes he looked at his companion and froze.

Milo's face was pale. His bright, blue eyes were filled with disappointment, with suffering, sadness and shock. Camus never expected him to have such an expression. Did Milo wanted so much to go back. Did he miss their Sanctuary so strongly, that it was painful for him to stay here?

He actually never though how Milo felt about being here. Was he such an ignorant to not notice how hard it was for his lover? Was he swallowed by this new life so much to ignore the fact that Milo wanted to go back? His lover tried to talk with him many times but he never had the time, learning from this Sanctuary everything he could learn. What if the Scorpio wanted to talk, how he missed their fellows, how he wanted to see these faces of his friends?

How could he ignore that? How he could leave Milo alone here?

To tell the truth, in the corner of his mind he noticed how low-spirited Milo was lately. But sinking into the new world, he left Milo alone, ignoring his feelings, ignoring his soul. How he could do that? How Milo would feel, if there was really no way back? If they would stay here forever. If they would have to fight in the Holy war again? He himself didn't want that, the last one was too traumatic.

He was so awful. He enjoyed this new life by himself, for so many months ignoring someone so dear to his heart. How it could happen? Was he such a heartless, cold man after all? That even the suffering of his lover was just out of his interest? He knew that Milo was really sensitive person, but he hated to show his suffering to the others. And as his Lover, Camus should have notice it. He should take more care about his beloved Milo, not to ignore him completely. He failed. And now he could see it. Hurt, disappointed face of Milo, with a pale skin, sad eyes and empty look inside them. Milo without his usual energy. Without this wonderful light around him. Milo sad, silent.

He didn't like it. He wanted to bring back the smile on Milo's lips. He wanted to see these energetic, bright eyes. He wanted to hear his cheerful voice. And he wanted to explore this world with Milo. And he wanted to go back to the XX century with him. What matter this world had in compare of Milo's happiness? If it would mean the happy smile being again on Milo's lips, he could leave these new things right away.

When he woke up from his thought there was no Milo around. The future Scorpio already left the Pope's Temple.

The sound of fighting trainees was really loud, but Camus didn't care about it. Sitting on the highest seats of the coliseum, he was thinking how he and Milo could go back to the future. He read many books here, but even if he wasn't searching for a clue, he knew if there would be something, he would notice it at the very beginning. So, was the answer in the other, remaining books he didn't have a hold yet? Should he start to explore them? Or was it safe to assume there was nothing about travelling in time?

He had no idea what he should do. After seeing Milo's expression he was so shocked, that he really wanted to go back to the future. Just to bring this happy smile. Just to se it again. Just to be the happy couple one more time.

Camus still couldn't believe, that he felt happy, hearing there was no way back. For a while he thought he would have enough time to explore, to learn, to read and did many others interesting things. But in his thought he didn't consider the feelings of Milo. How could he?

There had to be some answer. There had to be some way to return. And he had to find it for the sake of Milo. It was only a matter of deeper thinking. He was intelligent man and he knew it was possible for him to find it if he would try.

He read so many books in his times. Many of them were about time, about possible travelling in time and about the meaning of time. Some of them were good, and very logical. Camus remembered very well, that some of them were insisting that traveling it time could create paradoxes. For example meeting the same self but from the future. It could be dangerous. The younger self having no idea about travelling in time could kill himself from the future. Or that something from the past and from 'now' couldn't exist at the same time in the same space. The one being in the wrong time could be thrown away to the point from where it disappeared. Or something like that… he read them really long time ago, most of them were lost in his memory already because of the amounts of books he read after. But he had to remember. What if there was answer somewhere? Just a word…

The same thing from two different times had no right to exist at the same time and place… The same thing… But if it could be true, then after meeting Degel and Kardia he and Milo should be threw away from the XVIII century straight to their ages. Although it couldn't be the case… They were just the same soul… Not the same thing

He gasped. The answer was all the time just in front of their eyes. How he could miss it? It was so obvious! And so simple!

"Camus…?" he heard in the middle of his thought.

It was simple… And it wasn't… The way of being sent to the future required some help from the XX century. How to do that?

"Camus…?" he heard again just before someone sat beside him.

The future Aquarius looked at Shion, who with worried look was sitting beside him.

Aries Shion… Shion… Pope Shion…

He gasped once again.

"What's wrong? You look like you saw a ghost," said the Aries Saint, smiling delicately.

Camus shook his head.

"Sorry, I just…"

"You look surprised. Something happened?"

He knew. He knew that if he would try the answer would show up!

"I was just thinking about the way to return to the XX century…" Camus murmured, still amazed by everything that happened just a while ago. "We were at the audience with Lady Athena just now, me and Milo. She said she can't find any way to send us back."

Shion nodded. He suspected it wouldn't be so easy.

"So I was thinking about that myself. I never found a clue about time travelling in these books Degel and the Pope allowed me to read. But in our times there is so much information about time, about possibilities with travelling. About everything. And I tried to remember some of these information, I tried to find a way."

"Oh, your times sound so interesting, really! And did you find the answer?"

Camus gulped. The more he was thinking about it the more it was possible. He knew it could be the right way of thinking. It could be the way to help them…

"I think… Yes. But it could create problem here."

"Why? We will do everything to help you, Camus."

"Yes, I know. So would you mind to listen to me?"

Shion nodded. He really wanted to hear this. He could learn something new, something unbelievable again.

"I think it is worth of try…" Camus added to himself just before speaking to his companion. "I believe, that the same thing from two different times just cannot exist in one space. I mean if you put the same person from 'now' and the same person from the past beside each other, it could create paradox. And in the result the person being in wrong time could be blow away to his ages."

Shion nodded. He needed some time to fully understand this, but he managed to see clearly what Camus said.

"But how could it work? You are here and Degel are here. And yet nothing happened," said Shion after a while.

"No, you are wrong. Firstly I thought alike, but then I notice on small and simple thing. Me and Degel, just like Kardia and Milo… We are not the same person. Yes, we are the same soul, but not the same person. We have two different bodies, born in different ways, in different times. I don't know how much do you know about the ceiling that creates our bodies, but my body and Degel's body are not the same."

For a while Camus silenced to give Shion some time to think about it.

"We look alike, I agree, but in the meaning of the pure biology, we are different. It is not like I was send to the past, when I was young; and I didn't meet me. It is not like exactly the same body appeared in the same place, but from two different times. I just met a person who looks alike and have the same soul, but not the same body."

"I think... I think I can understand this part."

Camus smiled.

"And I thought that if we could have something from my times here, then it could be possible, to create paradox, which would send back the thing to its time."

"But how you would do that? It requires having exactly the same thing, according to what you said. It could be impossible. Most of things were probably destroyed in the next years…"

"I know. But the answer is quite simple. There is only one thing in the Sanctuary, that is the same since myth ages."

Shion looked at Camus while his head was creating this obvious answer.

"Gold Cloth," they said at the same time.

"Yes," agreed Camus. "Of course not only the Gold Cloths, the rest as well. It is the same Cloth. I have the same cloth as Degel, but older about two centuries. Yes, it was modified during all these years, it was repaired a few times, but it is still the same Gold Cloth, made with the same material."

"It is a really wonderful idea, Camus. It could work!" said Shion, but after a while his enthusiasm fell down. "But Camus… How we get your and Milo's Cloth from the future? They had to be send here by someone from your times…"

Camus felt chills over his whole body. So simple!

"Well, I can't tell you details and I hope you will understand. But I'm sure this problem is already settled."

Shion looked surprised at his companion. Surely this man from the future knew many strange things. Could it be one of them…?

"I think we have only wait… And have the hope…" murmured Camus.

He really had the hope that Shion never forget about this conversation…

Pope Shion opened rapidly his eyes, and looking at the dark ceiling in his bedroom, he couldn't just believe. How could he forget that? Why it took him so long to remember this talk, this day when Camus told him, how to go back to the future?

He stood up and started to walk around his room. It was so simple. So obvious. But he forgot that… Oh, for Athena's name! He had such a lucky dreaming about this! Now they could bring their two fellows, two friends back. They had to only find a way to gave them their Cloths…
