Note: The following is a rough outline of what was to happen in this chapter. I apologise for not being able to write the full chapter as intended, however, life has proven hectic and along with my plans to start writing original stories, I don't have the time needed to finish all my stories. I didn't want to leave them abandoned, so I decided to give a rough outline of the story's events so that you could see how it would have progressed and ended. I hope that you understand. Maybe one day I might come back and fully finish them as intended, but as that's up in the air, I thought that I'd end things this way rather than leave unfinished. Thank you for your time.

Chapter 3 (Rough Outline)

Chucky played innocent the best of his abilities. He feared to do anything else that might cause alarm amongst the other toys. So, he would greet them with cheerful, albeit forced, smiles. However, his attention was always elsewhere. He soon understood the layout of Andy's bedroom as well as the back of his plastic hand.

Woody watched from a distance. He refused to let the Good Guy Doll out of his sights. The cowboy felt uneasy whenever he saw Chucky glaring at the picture of Andy hanging on the wall. He couldn't contain this lingering sense of dread. He had to find a way to expose Chucky for the danger he was.

While Chucky was busily engaged in a game of battleships with Ham, consistently losing, much to the piggy bank's smug delight, Woody quietly called for a small meeting with Buzz and Jessie. Always looking over his shoulder, he explained to them what he saw earlier, noting the glee in Chucky's face as he pushed Rex off the shelf and into Buster's path. While the toys know Buster to be playful and harmless, there was no way for Chucky to be certain, meaning his actions were intended to harm.

Buzz and Jessie do not dismiss Woody's claims, but they know that they can't act unless they have more convincing evidence of Chucky's intent. If Chucky was to be believed, he was a toy that has been through quite the trauma, and might not be in control of his actions. Begrudgingly, Woody agrees. The last thing he wanted was the outcast a toy that might be in need of help. But he at least had the comfort knowing that Buzz and Jessie would also be watching Chucky.

Things don't start well for the trio as when they return to the game of battleships, Chucky is nowhere to be found and the bedroom door is slightly ajar.

Downstairs, Chucky stealthily finds his way into the kitchen and watches Andy and his mother finishing their dinner. The boy is in a rush, wolfing down his food without chewing, much to his mum's grimace. As Chucky's eyes find an almost finished glass of juice on the table next to Andy's plate, he hatches a plan that will ensure he's able to finish the body transfer.

After finding his way to the bathroom without being seen, he acquires numerous sleeping pill tables. Careful not to take too much so not to overdose his new human body, he returns to the kitchen and when the mother and son are not looking, Chucky places the tables in Andy's drink. He scurries towards a decent hiding spot where he can watch the tablets fizz and dissolve before Andy grabs the cup and drink whatever is left.

''Sweet dreams, little Andy,'' Chucky cackles quietly, rubbing his hands together. ''They'll be your last.''

Meanwhile, with Chucky no longer in the bedroom, Woody figures that this is the perfect time to investigate. He remembered what Hamm said before about the Good Guy Dolls no longer being around. In a way, Woody sympathised with that sentiment. The chances of him meeting another Woody doll were slim at best. Still, there was a thought pricking at the back of his mind that urged him to look deeper into the matter and find out if there's more to Chucky than meets the eye.

Borrowing Andy's computer that lay resting on the bed, Woody begins to search for more information about Good Guy Dolls. Despite his best attempts at being discreet, his friends soon all crowd around him nosily, wondering what the cowboy is looking for. There was no way of hiding what he was doing, every time he turned one friend away, another two would be at the computer screen. After being vouched for by Buzz and Jessie, Woody is able to continue.

The group are horrified at what they uncover.

Hamm shivered. ''And to think, Andy's mum has the internet age-restricted, so this isn't even the grisly stuff.''

Dozens of news articles and posts flood the screen detailing years of chaos caused by a malfunctioning Good Guy Doll that reportedly belonged to a child named Andy. They navigate through the web until they spot one key piece of information that leaves them speechless. The name of the doll was Chucky. A dark realisation dawns upon them, not only are they in danger but if they don't act quickly, their Andy will be too.

They shut down the computer and prepare to hatch a plan. However, when they turn around, they find Chucky standing at the foot of the bed, grinning sadistically.
