Note: The following is a rough outline of what was to happen in this chapter. I apologise for not being able to write the full chapter as intended, however, life has proven hectic and along with my plans to start writing original stories, I don't have the time needed to finish all my stories. I didn't want to leave them abandoned, so I decided to give a rough outline of the story's events so that you could see how it would have progressed and ended. I hope that you understand. Maybe one day I might come back and fully finish them as intended, but as that's up in the air, I thought that I'd end things this way rather than leave unfinished. Thank you for your time.

Chapter 4 (Rough Outline)

Chucky closes the distance between him and Andy's toys, taunting and mocking them for trying to get in his way. He warns them that if they shut up and keep out of his way, he won't be forced to get violent with them and gestures to the articles they read online to back up his claims.

Though they are afraid and now have a better idea of what Chucky is capable of, the toys refuse to back down. With Woody and Buzz taking the lead, they rally the others and they take a stand. They know that they have the advantage as long as they outnumber him. Despite their boasts, Chucky still seems relatively calm about the situation. He paces up and down the bed with his hands folded behind his back, whistling and occasionally looking towards the clock in the corner of the room.

Buzz recognises this as a stalling strategy. Before they can question Chucky, they soon hear a commotion from outside the bedroom. Andy's loud footsteps can be heard getting closer. In a frenzied panic, the toys rush to the edge of the bed and hope down, hoping to scatter so not to make Andy suspicious. All the while, Chucky watches them jump with a widening smirk. By the time the toys realise what has happened, it's too late.

Together, they crash inside of the large treasure chest box that has somehow been moved around from the foot of the bed to the side. Once they were all in, Chucky rushes over and slams it shut, breaking the latch from the outside and leaving the toys trapped inside with nowhere to escape.

''Oops, who put that there?'' Chucky taunted amusedly, banging across the treasure chest to further antagonise the trapped toys.

Inside of the chest is a swirling mess of anger, frustration, fear and hopelessness. The toys each try to find a way to break free, but they are unable to do anything while Chucky continues to torment and heckle them from the outside.

Eventually, they are forced to silence themselves when Andy walks into the room. Spying through the keyhole, Woody watches the drowsy young boy walk over to his bed, seemingly too tired to even care about the chest and laptop. Andy calls to his mother that he will be getting to bed early, despite the sun only beginning to set outside, casting an ominous orange glow in the room. Before long, the only noise to accompany the faint chilly wind drifting through the open window is Andy's heavy snoring.

On cue, Chucky emerges from his hiding spot, clutching the Heart of Damballa in his hand. As he walks over to Andy's bed, he comments how gleefully twisted it'll be when he becomes human again and uses Andy's own hands to crush each of the toys one by one. Beneath his maniacal speech, he fails to notice the little green soldiers come to the aid of the toys and work to pick the lock without the Good Guy Doll's notice.

Overcome with a feeling of triumph, Chucky neglects all other surroundings. All that matters to him is his new body, peacefully asleep before his very eyes. He is almost unable to contain his glee as he places one hand on Andy's forehead, grips the medallion with his other, and begins the ritual. His chanting echoes throughout the room. He can feel his whole body trembling as he finally lets out one last victorious laugh.

Before the chant his complete, he mentally notes how quiet the toys have become.

Suddenly, something hard tackles him off the bed and onto the floor. The Heart of Damballa escapes his grasp and skids along the floor. Angered at having his plans foiled once again, this time by children's toys, Chucky manages to shrug Buzz off and chases down the medallion. Upon seeing how eager Chucky is to reclaim the mysterious item, Woody instructs the other toys to keep it out of Chucky's reach.

A chase begins as Jessie grabs the medallion while riding Bullseye. Chucky refuses to give up as he hunts the cowgirl down, falling into all kinds of traps and obstacles the other toys leave in his way. Things fall on top of him. He slides across the floor when slipping on debris. If Andy were not drugged, he would have been awoken a long time ago by the madness. Still, Chucky continues to keep the pace and even manages to find a way to corner Jessie off. After a quick call from Woody, she throws the Heart of Damballa to him.

But, before Woody can escape, he is cornered at the window by Chucky. He edges Woody closer to the edge, offering to let him live if he hands over the medallion. Woody refuses, knowing that whatever this item was, it would bring harm to Andy. This enrages Chucky, who questions why the toys care what happens to the boy as he doesn't even know they're alive.

''We are alive,'' Woody said. ''Even if Andy can't see it, he knows. That's what matters most.''

As Chucky is distracted, RC comes zooming out of nowhere to help Woody escape. They avoid Chucky's grasp by the skin of their teeth, who slips on the edge and falls out of the window, crashing down into an open dustbin that sat below the house. The bin rattles and collapses to its side before rolling down the grassy hill and into the ground. Shaken, but undeterred, Chucky cries out into the night that this isn't over and he'll come back for them. He doesn't get far with his threats as a car comes into view, unable to stop itself before hitting the bin and sending it flying down the road.

The toys let out a collective sigh of relief as Chucky disappears out of sight and out of their lives forever.

The following morning, Andy wakes up, blissfully unaware of the events that transpired the previous evening. Happily watching on, Woody admits to the group that he isn't sure if Andy is always going to be there for them, but that they will always be here for him when needed.

Before they can decide on what to do with the Damballa, Molly can be heard approaching the room. As the toys hide, Molly spots the medallion and takes it, thinking it'll be a nice accessory. The toys shrug and allow it, hoping that nothing bad could come from it despite how important it seemed to be for Chucky.

Elsewhere, far away from the house, Chucky rages at losing another chance to become human. So caught up in complaining about being defeated by toys, he fails to notice that he's stumbled upon a pile of rubbish and walks face-first into it. He throws a fit, punching and kicking at everything in range, including a door broken from its hinges with a faint red glow above the upper frame. Chucky ends up falling through the door and somehow finds himself in a completely different place.

''What the…'' he gazes at his surroundings. He finds himself in a spacious, metallic interior with hundreds of doors assembled on one side and an assortment of strange creatures and monsters gawking at the Good Guy Doll from the other side.

''Twenty-Three Nineteen! We have a Twenty-Three Nineteen!'' A monster calls out, petrified at the sight of Chucky.

Chucky as no time to understand what is happening before alarms begin blazing all around him and he's tackled to the ground by dozens of monsters in hazmat suits that are many times larger than him.

The End!
