Naru's POV:

There she stood, blushing like a madman after confessing her love to me. I knew she was mistaken though. Mistaken by the fact that she loved me, mistaken by the fact that I had been helping her within her dreams, and mistaking me for the wrong twin.

"Me, or Gene?"

That simple question made her freeze. She didn't know what to say and I could just see the gears trying to work. Trying to figure it out for herself. When I noticed she finally figured it out...she smiled at me, but there was something wrong with this smile. It was a bit sinister.

"You know, I think you might be right. I'm so sorry to have wasted your time."

Truth be told, I was at little shocked. Not that I'd be willing to show her that she had caused such a response. I stood there looking at her as she slowly moved towards me with that same smile on her face.

SMACK*

She had slapped me. I wasn't expecting that at all. I know for a fact that the shock of it showed on my face at little, but she didn't seem to care.

"Like, I would really say that! It's true that I had seen your twin in my dreams and thought he was you, but he never talked to me! All he ever did was smile and point and sometimes hold me when the vision was too bad, but he wasn't there all the time. All he ever was to me was a part of my dream. Something that I thought I had garnered up in my dreams to ease them. I liked the fact that he smiled and seemed to care more than you did, but he still wasn't you. The narssisstic, tea-loving, idiot scientists that I had come to know and eventually love...but I highly doubt me saying this would change anything. I guess I'll see you around, Shibuya-san."

With her monologue through with she turned around and left. I couldn't follow after her. I was stock still. My brain, for the first time in my life, didn't seem to work.

"You know, she's not wrong. You really are an idiot."

I couldn't help the sign that escaped my lips. Now he wants to show himself?

"And why am I the idiot for stating the truth?"

I turn around to see the translucent form of my brother standing next to a tree.

"Well, there are quite a few reasons you're an idiot. The first being that you're telling yourself lies and you know it."

"Well, a fact that I know is that you should be moving on."

"Oh yeah, Lin had shown up to give you the news. I'll just go 'ghost' and let you find out. Bye~!"

'What is Lin supposed to be telling me?' As soon as I thought that Lin broke through the trees out of breath.

"They found Gene and you're not going to believe it, but he's alive."

Welp, that's it for this chapter! If there's any questions, comments, or concerns (like grammar issues or a mispelled word) just send me one of those handy dandy messages!

I hope you all enjoy this and I hope I don't take long to write the next one. I need to do some research!

Until next time people!
