I had John and Scarlett over at the club while Thea was at school. I kind of didn't want to tell her what I had found because I found something that I knew that she wouldn't like.

"So this book that Mr. Queen has a list of names in it and this book that Mrs. Queen had has the same list of names." John summarized.

"Correct." I confirmed.

"How did you get it?" Scarlett asked.

"I got it from her room." I said. "I was looking for anything in their room that might have information about Mr. Steele's disappearance and found it."

"Do you think him seeing the book might have something to do with him being missing?" John questioned.

"Why haven't you handed it over to the police?" Scarlett asked.

"Because one, it's not real evidence." I pointed out. "And two, she's Thea's mother and I'm living in her house. I don't want to accuse her of anything, especially having him kidnapped and/or killed."

"I know that you've known her for a long time, but I tend to believe that the innocent party is whoever's missing." He remarked.

"He does have a point." Scarlett pointed out as I grabbed my head.

"Well I want to look into it more before I come to any conclusions." I declared.

The main reason that I didn't want to do it was because it could completely wreck my relationship with Thea if I was wrong. I knew I would have to tell her, but as long as there was that uncertainty, I couldn't do it. I couldn't have her hate me and I didn't want to make a mistake that caused her to hate me. If there was even a chance that I was wrong, I didn't want to say anything to her.

"So Hilton is still looking for you." Scarlett replied. "Even though there's a growing a growing speculation that no one in the office really wants you to be captured."

"They don't?" I asked.

"Well you did save all of those hostages, stop a mad arsonist and just last week, you brought down the vertigo ring. You have a lot of fans in the police office, even if none of them will admit it. They probably would still charge you in you were captured, but people are starting to think of you as an actual hero. Maybe this is your calling instead of picking on billionaires, even if they deserve it." She explained.

I then went home. I was going to try to get information from the source. I found her in her room, getting dressed.

"Heading out?" I asked.

"I have a meeting with the financial planners." She replied. "Is there something on your mind?"

"There is." I replied as I took the book out. "I want to talk to you about Walter. Right before he went missing, he gave me this."

"This is Robert's notebook." She declared as she flipped through it. "He kept a list of all of the people in Starling City who owed him favors. I had no idea there were so many."

"I've been looking into those names. They're not good people and some of them have been attacked by the vigilante." I replied.

"Sara, I have no idea who Robert was involved with and you and Thea know that he wasn't exactly honest with me." She pointed out.

"Maybe we should find out." I proposed.

"No." She cut me off rather quickly. "If Robert was involved with all of these bad people and Walter was looking into it…maybe we should just stop asking questions about it."

She then threw the book into the fire. Well that didn't make her look less guilty.

"Sara, I care about you. Promise me you won't look into this. Your family has already lost you once." She said.

I then brought Thea into the club from school,

"So, what are we working on?" She asked me.

"Well you do have to actually work on practicing singing." I declared. "I wouldn't be surprised if people check on us."

"Well there is something interesting." She declared. "Cyrus Vanch was released from Iron Heights this week. He is a really bad dude."

"Maybe I should call Laurel or Scarlett." I proposed.

"They don't have enough evidence to keep him locked up. So, I was thinking maybe we could try to find some." She explained.

"I'll look into it." I replied as I got a call from Diggle. "For, I'm going to take this."

I then walked away and answered the phone.

"Hey Diggle." I declared.

"How'd your meeting with Mrs. Queen go?" He asked. I gave him a recap. "Don't you think it's a little fishy how she threw the book into the fire? Is that something an innocent person would do?"

"She did it out of concern for my safety, Diggle." I stated.

"Or hers." He argued. "You know that list was made by a very bad person."

"Mrs. Queen didn't know any of the names on the list." I replied.

"She said that. You didn't don't have to take her word for it." He said. "Sara, if this wasn't someone you were so close to, you'd be hooded up right now."

"Well it's not somebody else. She's practically family." I pointed out before I hung up on him. I then went back out to Thea. I knew something was up.

"Laurel called." She said.

"Did you talk to her?" I asked.

"I know I wasn't supposed to, but it was about Cyrus Vanch." She answered. "I told her that you would help her, which you were already going to do."

"Just don't do that without my permission again." I ordered. I supposed that this Vanch stuff could be a good distraction to all of this drama that was going with Mrs. Queen.

I went to the house where Vanch was staying. He had guards which I quickly took out. I then shot an arrow with a microphone at a post nearby his table. However, while I was listening, a guy with a machine gun showed up. I took him out but it seemed to get his attention, so I ran off.

I then called Laurel.

"I have something." I told her. "I want to meet."

"Where?" She inquired.

"Winnick Building. 30 minutes." I answered.

I went to meet Laurel and presented her with the evidence that I had found. It was that I realized something was off.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"We're not alone." I told her. It was then that Detective Hilton, my father, and a few other cops came out. Laurel looked surprised, so I assumed that she hadn't intentionally set me up. I knew that I needed to run. My father was following me. I had to lose him. When that didn't work, I realized that I needed to knock him out. I wasn't catholic, but I felt like I needed to go to a confessional after that.

It took another day, but I eventually managed to bring Vanch to justice. He had kidnapped Laurel. He went with some immoral tactics like protecting himself with enough men that I would run out of arrows if I shot all of them, but I still stopped him.

I also had to deal with the fact that the relationship between Laurel and my father had diminished because of the incident on the rooftop. I didn't know why my father had been so focused on trying to catch me all of a sudden.

"Are the other people in the precinct as like my father when it comes to me?" I asked Scarlett.

"Actually you have a lot of fans. I'm pretty that even the chief supports what you do. He can't say and legally would still have to support your arrest, but for the most part it seems like he doesn't want you to be arrested." Scarlett explained to me.

"I'm going to see Laurel." I told her and Thea.

I found her outside of the police station. It was probably risky, but if what Scarlett said was true, the risk wasn't as big as I thought.

"I'm sorry for putting you in harm's way." I apologized.

"My father has the phone now." She stated. "I'm a big girl. I knew the risks of meeting with you."

"Well now I know them and I'm not willing to take them with you again." I replied.

"What does that mean?" She asked.

"It means goodbye for now." I stated. At that point, Tommy came looking for her,

On the island, I had met a man named Slade Wilson. It was the beginning of what would be a rather tumultuous relationship.

I then went back to the club, where Diggle played a recording he made of my mother for Thea and I. She was mentioning something called an undertaking.

"I can't believe my mom would do something like this." Thea said with tears in her eyes.

"Maybe I can bring her in, so you don't have to." Scarlett suggested.

"We don't know what she's up to." I pointed out. "Plus, there's a lot of protocol with the station. As much as it pains me, I'm the one who has to do this."

"What's the undertaking?" Diggle asked.

"I don't know, but there are threats involved, so it can't be good." I replied. I looked to Thea "I'm going to find out. I promise I won't hurt her."

I then went to Queen Consolidated and took out the suits in her office. I then pointed my bow at her.

"Moira Queen, you have failed this city." I told her.

So I know that this chapter is truncated, but I disliked the main plot with Vanch, so I shortened it. I may combine the next two episodes since I'm not big on the flashbacks either. The backhalf of Season 1 is a little lackluster. Anyway, please don't forget to review.
