Disclaimer: I own nothing (unfortunately). All rights and characters in this fic belong to Tim Kring and other respective owners and creators. I gain no profit from this. It's purely for fun. I only own my OC's.

Note: The following is a rough outline of what was to happen in this chapter. I apologise for not being able to write the full chapter as intended, however, life has proven hectic and along with my plans to start writing original stories, I don't have the time needed to finish all my stories. I didn't want to leave them abandoned, so I decided to give a rough outline of the story's events so that you could see how it would have progressed and ended. I hope that you understand. Maybe one day I might come back and fully finish them as intended, but as that's up in the air, I thought that I'd end things this way rather than leave unfinished. Thank you for your time.

Chapter Six (Rough Outline)

August 2nd 2010

(Location Unknown)

With Malthus and other Titans stalking the halls of their secret base, Hiro and Ando are forced to sneak around to evade them. Trapped in the other person's body, they are unable to grasp the other's ability. Hiro's starts to surge with energy, drawing Malthus's attention towards them. Ando tries to teleport them away and manages to do it at the last moment.

(Gabriel Gray & Emma Coolidge – New York)

Gabriel's eyes become heavy as he waits for news about Mohinder. He fully trusted Emma to do everything she could to save his life, but that didn't do much to ease his fried nerves. So much was happening too quickly for him to properly process. His thoughts kept returning to Legion. The madman reminded him of his past life. He could practically see the shadows of Sylar stalking him every time Legion crossed his mind. The ticking of the clock above grew louder until it was deafening.

Finally, Emma emerges from the medical room and is happy to inform Gabriel that Mohinder will make a quick recovery. She demands to know what happened, sensing something is off with Gabriel. Reluctantly, he details everything to her that has happened over the past few days. Hearing his story motivates Emma to tell him about her recent visit from Carlos.

(Pinehearst Headquarters)

The last of the authorities begin to clear the area, including Noah and Claire alongside their companions. In the distance, Gretchen watches on, hesitant about going to see Claire while she is with her father. Meanwhile, Michael continues to grumble and moan over the pain Peter caused him by borrowing his ability. At that moment, Peter teleports back to him, falling to his knees and staring at the ground with glazed eyes and a face pale as a ghost. Claire rushes out to see him as he rests his head against her shoulders, saying that he doesn't know what to do.

Noah and Lauren claim that there is nothing they can do for now, not until Legion makes his next move, even if it could be as disastrous as the damage he inflicted upon London. The group is silent when Noah then receives a call from a number he didn't expect to see again.

''Tracey?'' he answers, putting the call on the loudspeaker.

On the other side, he can hear Tracey's frantic panting. ''Noah, we need your help.''

''Are you alright? What's happened?''

''There's a girl with us. She's comatose. I don't know what to do.''

Gretchen and Michael stare at each other, recognising the woman's voice. ''Tracey? Is Abigail and Sophie with you?'' Gretchen asks, fearing the worst.

''We were attacked by the Titans. They did something to Sophie. She's alive, but we can't get her to wake up.''

Fear clutches at the hearts of everyone listening. Whatever the Titan's intentions are with Sophie couldn't be good, especially with her abilities and with how much of an effort they put in hunting her down.

''Where are you now?'' Noah asks.

Hiro and Ando collapse to the floor. They quickly jump to their feet and realise that they have returned safely to Hiro's office. Their moment of respite is short-lived though as they realise that no matter what they do, they can't switch back to their original bodies. Not wanting to let this development halt their mission, Hiro decides to use Ando's powers to read the messages. However, he has a difficult time trying to control the power and it threatens to overwhelm him numerous times. Ando's luck isn't much better, as something as easy as teleporting around a table proves too difficult for him.

''But, you brought us here!'' Hiro states.

''I panicked. I just wanted us to get out of that place!''

Hiro scratches his chin, debating what their next course of action should be. He flinches the moment his hand touches his skin, still trying to get used to walking around in Ando's body. ''I would suggest not to time travel. You could end up lost somewhere with no way to return.''

Ando gulped. ''No time travel. Understood.''

''Right, it looks like we're going to be stuck in each other's bodies for the time being. Until we find a way to reverse this, we'll just have to take the time to learn how to control the other's ability. We just have to pretend to be each other for a short while. It shouldn't be too difficult.''

''There you are!'' A voice at the door startles them. They turn around to see Kimiko. Hiro's sister approaches them, reaching out to hug who she thought was Ando.

''Oh no.'' Hiro whimpers.

Audrey learnt very quickly that no matter how much danger Matt found himself in, his number one priority was always his family.

She and Matt had liberated a vehicle and made the journey to the Parkman house. Unfortunately, Detective Fuller and a small squad of officers had already beaten them to their destination and stood on guard outside of Matt's home. Audrey says that it might be best just to leave them for now, but Matt is concerned with leaving them with Detective Fuller. He fears that he might threaten them for information.

He wants to use his powers to sneak him and free them without anyone getting hurt, but Audrey is worried that his ability doesn't seem to be fully under his control and it could result in doing more harm than good. Matt considers listening to his companion, but he doesn't want that regret of not being able to do anything to help stir. He thinks of his son. As long as he keeps that image in the back of his mind, he is certain that he won't harm anyone. He instructs Audrey to stay back as he goes in.

Using his ability to incapacitate the guards, Matt strolls past them as if he's stopped time. Detective Fuller is immobile along with everyone else as Matt finds his wife and son and tells them to follow him. After a brief moment of hesitation, she goes with Matt and they meet back up with Audrey, starting the car and leaving before Detective Fuller and his men can notice what has happened. However, as soon as he notices the home is now empty, he knows that Matt was involved and orders his officers to find him at all costs.

(Location Unknown)

Soul continues to manipulate the astral form of Sophie, trying to get her to create a vivid picture of the future in his hand. Before he can make any progress, Malthus struts into the room, informing him about the spies that escaped him earlier.

''There's no point coming to me to whinge about your incompetence,'' Soul mocked, using his other hand to probe Sophie's astral figure and get her to work the way he wanted. ''I have my own task at hand, as you can see.''

''This place was meant to be impenetrable,'' Malthus said.

Suddenly, someone speaks up from the shadows. ''Yes, it is too easy to find this place.''

Malthus and Soul glance over their shoulders to see Legion emerge from the dark corner of the room. He challenges them to a fight and can equal their power, though Soul is distracted with trying to keep his grasp on Sophie's soul. They tear through the walls and destroy everything in their path during their mighty struggle. It's a tug of war between Legion and Soul as they try to claim the astral projection that fits in the palm of their hands. Soon, Legion finds himself outnumbered and is knocked back against the wall. Before the Titans can land the finishing blow, they realise that Sophie is no longer in their possession.

Legion opens his palm, showing them Sophie's palm before he teleports away with a sinister smile plastered across his face.

Mohinder awakes as if he has just emerged from a nightmare. Looking around, he finds himself laying in a hospital bed with his neck stitched and his wounds bandaged. Emma is the only one in the room at the time, greeting him and checking to see if he is okay. He stresses that his enhanced healing is the only reason he is still alive, though Emma does show her support for Gabriel as he got Mohinder to the hospital quickly. Begrudgingly, Mohinder does accept this.

Now that Mohinder is awake, Emma sees this as the perfect opportunity to ask him about the Titans and how she might be connected to them. Her meeting with Carlos has her worried that she could become involved in something terrible, especially with the chaos that the group has caused so far. While Mohinder can't give her direct answers, he wants to be taken home so that he can continue his research. Emma wants to come along with him. Mohinder does accept her assistance, but only on the condition that she doesn't tell Gabriel as he still cannot bring himself to trust the ex-villain. Emma wants to defend Gabriel, but the idea of learning more about her past is too good of an offer to pass, so she does what Mohinder says.

Outside in the waiting room, Gabriel receives a call from Peter. He asks Gabriel for help. At first, Gabriel is hesitant, believing that Peter just wants his power so that he can kill Legion. After Peter quickly explains what is happening and that he needs to go with Noah to help an old friend, Gabriel decides to come along. Before he leaves, he goes to Emma and tells her that he might be gone for a few days, but he will return to check on Mohinder.

Emma gives him a slight nod before he disappears down the hallway.

With Legion's surprising return, the Titans decide to move ahead with the next phase of their plan. They know the full capability of Legion, so they can't afford to take any chances and know that they must have everyone in their ranks at the ready. They are given their order to free their final member, the Titan of Envy…
