Quinn POV Present Day
A hand slips into yours. It's a little sweaty and the grip is tight around yours. You can see Rachel a few yards away waving and hopping around trying to get your attention. You squeeze Santana's hand before dragging her forward towards your hostess for the weekend.
Rachel is excited as she leads you out of the station and towards the subway. You aren't far from her apartment only two or three stops away, and Rachel has not stopped talking since she had engulfed the pair of you in a tight hug. You had forgotten how long-winded Rachel can be.
It's overwhelming between Santana's tight grip and the over load of information Rachel is throwing at you, and its only then that you wonder if you should've booked a hotel.
Santana POV Present Day
Its been several hours since you and Quinn have stepped off the train from Boston. After dropping your bags at Rachel's apartment, the three of you had met Kurt for dinner. It had been nice catching up with Rachel and Kurt. They had dragged you to Call Backs just like they had years ago, and it had surprisingly been fun. Rachel had dragged you up to stage a few times, and Kurt had handed over several drinks to keep you going. You had felt like you were eighteen again, the three of you against the world. Getting on the subway that night you had almost forgotten that you weren't heading back to your curtained off area in Buschwick.
You know your head will be killing you tomorrow. You know Quinn will be cursing herself for drinking so much tonight in a few short hours However, Kurt's eyes are alight with a drunken happiness you haven't seen since you were eighteen and as you hear Rachel let out a laugh, loud and carefree in the night air, you can't bring yourself to care. For the first time since you bought your train tickets you feel the knot in stomach unclench, and the worry and fear you had felt for months is gone. Your arm swings forward catching Rachel's as your own chuckle escapes you and your happy as she falls into you that you have a whole weekend to spend with these two.
