Chapter 30

Five years felt like a lifetime. Clarke couldn't believe that her son was now five years old. Thought considering her daughter "Aurora Vee Blake" named after Bellamy's mom. Was three, Clarke She felt old. Thought Bellamy liked to remind her, she was only 24, whenever she complained about how "old" she felt.

After how tumultuous her pregnancy with Nate was when Clarke told him she was impregnated for the second time. Bellamy was overcome with excitement and nerves, to say the least.

Nate had just done down for a nap, he was two now and they'd recently moved him into a "big kid" bed. Nate seemed to have trouble getting used to it at first. But Bellamy and Clarke tried to make it fun and exciting.

They took him shopping for the bed, and let him pick it out himself. She'd picked the brown wooden bed that resembled a ship.

As long as he was happy with it, Bellamy and Clarke didn't much care.

After tucking him in, Clarke climbed onto the couch beside Bellamy. His arm wrapped around her waist, hand resting on her hip.

"He loves that bed." Clarke laughed.

Bellamy sighed. "finally, it only took him four days."

"It was an adjustment, for the crib to a big boy bed. I'm just happy to sleep in our bed tonight. I don't think I could have lasted another full night in that pirate ship."

Bellamy laughed. "If not I was going to have to join you guys, I miss having you next to me."

He planted a kiss on her cheek then her shoulder. Clarke shook her head smiling.

"Next it'll be a little princess bed."

Bellamy looked down confused, Clarke pulled away from him to sit cross-legged.

"I went to the doctor last week, remember? Cause I wasn't feeling well."

"You said it was just a check-up, you didn't say anything about being sick."

Clarke smiled at him, seeing the concern on Bellamy's face.

"I was pretty sure I knew what it was, so when I went into the clinic, I asked them to run a couple of blood tests."

"And you're ok?" Bellamy demanded.

Again she smiled sweetly at him, dropping her hand to lay over her flat stomach.

"Yeah, we're doing just fine."

Bellamy's eyes were glued to where Clarke's pale hand rested on her stomach.

After Nate's birth, Bellamy never brought up the topic of more kids. Neither had Clarke, but she knew that Bellamy wanted a little girl. She also knew he'd be worried about her, after everything that happened during her pregnancy with Nate, he had a right to be.

"You're pregnant?"

Clarke nodded, biting her bottom lip, waiting for his reaction.

Clarke felt his tears drip onto her cheeks as he pressed her down onto the couch. His hips melded with hers, as he settled his weight over the top of her.

"Really?" He pulled away to look into her eyes, smiling.

She nodded, knowing if she tried to speak her voice would break.

He kissed her again, keeping their bodies close together. Clarke laughed and squirmed under him, Bellamy kissed down her neck, tickling her.

Bellamy lifted the helm of Clarke's shirt, pulling it up past her C section scar. He moved down her body to kiss the spot their son was birthed. Clarke watched him with wide eyes.

She reached a hand down to tangle in his hair, scraping her nails on his scalp. Bellamy hummed against her stomach.

"I think it's a girl," Bellamy whispered the words against her skin.

Clarke snorted, "The baby is a little bigger than a grape, it hasn't decided which gender it'll be yet."

Bellamy climbed back over her, kissing her nose and then her lips.

"It's going to be a girl Clarke."

"How much you willing to bet?"

Bellamy smirked, he knew Clarke wanted him to bet on his motorcycle.

"I'd bet you."

Clarke's mouth dropped open, she tried to push him away. "Get out of here."

Laughing Bellamy brought his lips down on hers. Clarke moaned, lifting her hips off the couch to meet his. Bellamy dropped him down to trap her against the cushions. His cock, twitched as he listened to the sweet sounds she was making into his mouth.

"I'd never put you up against anything baby."

Clarke gasped, her hips jerking at his firm movements against her.

"We should move to our room," Clarke told him.

"Not if you can be quiet."

Clarke turned her head away. "I am quiet."

Bellamy shook his head, smiling fondly at her. "I like when you're loud for me."

"I don't like you," Clarke told him.

His hands slid firm against her, fingers dipping inside her underwear. "You're telling me this isn't for me?"

Clarke gasped, feeling his cool fingers dip into her wet center.

"Huh?" He asked her again. "Tell me Clarke, who're you dripping for?"

Her eyes fluttered closed as his voice deepened.

"You." She breathed.

Clarke's eyes remained closed, not waiting to see the smirk she knew would be on his face.

"That's right baby." He told her sweetly.

Pulling back he removed her bottoms, laying between her legs so his mouth lined with her.

Clarke threw an arm over her eyes, taking a relaxing breath as Bellamy made out with her lower lips.

She slowly rocked her hips into his mouth, earning a groan of praise from him.

Bellamy took his time, avoiding her clit and worked Clarke up slowly.

Once her thighs started to shake and her hips started to lift off from the bed, Bellamy rose over her body. Clarke smiled lazily at him, eyes fluttering closed as he leaned down for a kiss.

His hips pressed forward, pushing himself inside her. Clarke pulled him in with her arms, holding him to her body. Bellamy used his arms to keep from putting his full weight onto her body.

Bellamy set a fair pace, each stroke taking him deep inside her warmth. Clarke rolled her hips up into him, soft breaths and hums coming from her lips.

.

"I hope she comes naturally." She muttered when Bellamy pulled her from the couch.

Their naked bodies become cold in the living room air. The clock in the kitchen told them it was past midnight.

Bellamy pulled her to him, "Babe." Shook his head, hair almost tickling her forehead. "We're going to stay on top of this, make sure Harper is around and can catch anything early."

"Nothings going to go wrong." She assures him.

Bellamy sighed, looking down into her eyes. Forehead scrunched with worry.

"Nate was a different circumstance, we were both under a lot of stress at the time. Nothing went wrong until the last trimester. I promise it isn't going to be like last time."

"Can never be too careful. I'll call Harper in the morning."

Clarke snickered, pulling Bellamy in for a lazy kiss.

"I love you." She told him, her lips pressed to his.

Bellamy pulled back, leading her to their bed.

.

Clarke's pregnancy went smoothly, the only complication was Clarke's morning sickness. She was home, taking care of Nate and throwing up for most of the day.

Bellamy went to every doctor's appointment, making sure he had all the information. Clarke tended to "leave out" information, to not "freak him out". But when Bellamy found spotting in Clarke's underwear, he freaked barging into her shower.

"Clarke are you ok? Why didn't you call for me?"

Clarke turned, looking through the steam of the shower at Bellamy's worried face.

She laughed, "I can take a shower on my own Bellamy."

He held up her bloodied underwear, while she stopped laughing Clarke's face remained unaffected.

"It's just a little spotting Bellamy, some women even continue to get their periods during pregnancy."

He looked from her calculating. Trying to calm his racing heart rate.

When Clarke's words sunk in, Bellamy dropped his chin to his chest and sighed.

Clarke bit her lip, despite the soap still on her body she turned the shower off and wrapped herself in a towel.

"Hey." She said softly.

Bellamy sat down on the toilet seat and she kneeled between his legs. She told the underwear from his hands and tossed it into the trash beside them.

"I just-I saw them and I saw the blood." His voice shook slightly.

Clarke rubbed his thighs. "Ok, okay."

Looking at him now, Clarke was finally starting to understand how the complications during her last pregnancy traumatized him.

"I'm good Bell- Baby B is fine. If we aren't, I'll tell you. But you have to chill out, ok? You're going to drive yourself crazy if all you are doing is waiting for something bad to happen. Enjoy this time, because, in less than six months, we're going to have two baby's around here."

"I just worry about you. I can protect you from a lot of things, but this I can't control."

"I know." Clarke nodded.

Bellamy looked at her, "I'm sorry for interrupting your shower."

Clarke snorted, getting up and pulling Bellamy to his feet.

"Well, while you're in here, you might as well join me. We've got another hour till Octavia is back with Nate."

Bellamy smiled, leaning past Clarke to hurt the water back on.

"After you." He smiled at her.

.

"The kids are getting restless." Bellamy comes up behind Clarke, kissing her shoulder.

"I told you it was a bad idea to give them those pixie sticks." Clarke laughed. "Now they're all high on sugar."

Bellamy pulled the cake out of the fridge. It had the puppies from paw patrol on it, in gel icing.

Clarke walked over to him, not having seen the finished product yet. "Wow, they did a good job."

Bellamy nodded, searching for the candles in Kane's cupboards. Kane offered his house for the party, that is why the kids could run around in the yard outback.

"They finally sold my mom's house," Clarke told him. "Dad said, they had to redo the floor in the living room and the kitchen" because of all the blood.

Bellamy stopped looking for the candles and turned toward Clarke. She had a thoughtful look on her face.

"The anniversary is coming up. I ordered the flowers last week."

Every year on the day her mother was murdered, Clarke and her dad would go to the graveyard and share memories. Even though Jake didn't live in town, he always come for big holidays, birthdays and Abby's death date.

"I thought you said the realtor couldn't find a buyer for the house, that they were probably going to leave the lot vacant."

Clarke nodded, "They found a family that wanted it and given the history, they were able to sell it for cheaper than what it was worth."

"You know it's crazy."

"What?" He asked her, coming to wrap his arms around her waist.

"This is where we met." Clarke smiled.

Bellamy looked out of the kitchen window to the front yard.

"Right out there. I'd never seen a high schooler look better in a pair of jeans than you did."

"Perv." Clarke shoved at his chest.

"I sure felt like one. I was lucky as hell you were a senior."

She rolled her eyes. "What a gentleman."

Bellamy smiled, bending down to kiss her.

"Let's get this cake out to those little monsters."

.

Clarke sobbed, "I can't."

Bellamy stood beside her in the delivery room. Clarke had been in active labour for several hours. It was time to push and her vagina felt like it was one fire. Bellamy was whispering encouragements in her ear, holding her right hand in his, against his chest.

"Princess you've got this." He told her, winching as her face scrunched in pain.

Clarke's head flopped back in forth on the pillow, as she shook her head no.

"Take a break Clarke, you are doing great momma." The nurse between her legs praised.

"O fuck." Clarke groaned, moving to clench her knees together.

The nurse held her thighs apart. "Take a couple of deep breaths darling."

Bellamy laughed, as Clarke silently shot the nurse a glare he'd never want to be turned on him.

"Where's Nate?" Clarke's eyes went wide to Bellamy.

He caressed her cheek with his thumb. "Jasper and Monty said they would bring him over as soon as he wakes up in the morning."

"Make sure, they feed him breakfast before they leave the house, and he should take a bath."

Bellamy chuckled, "They know Princess, they got your multiple texts."

Clarke rolled her eyes. "Last time those two babies sat, Nate had an ice cream sundae for breakfast."

"Jasper said he was trying to beat Raven because she gives him cookies before supper."

"They are all weak."

Bellamy's laugh was interrupted by the nurse.

"Okay, Clarke. On this next one, I want you to push for as long as you can. Baby B's head is ready to come out."

Clark gasped, tears coming to her eyes. Her baby was almost here.

"1, 2, 3 Push! Push, push, push."

Bellamy braced Clarke's shoulder against his, helping her push. Once the head was out, the shoulders were going to be the hardest part. After three rounds of pushing. The shoulders were free.

Harper came into the room.

"There she is Clarke, she is beautiful. One more push girl and she'll be out."

Clarke took a big breath in and held it, pushing down. She felt the pressure of baby B release as she slid out. Her little girl's warm body being placed on her chest forced Clarke to let her breath out.

Tears streamed down Bellamy's face as he kissed her forehead.

"So good Princess. She's here, you did it."

Clarke placed her hand on baby Aurora's back. "It's okay baby." Clarke hushed.

Aurora cried when they took her away from Clarke, cleaning her up and checking her out. Harper brought her back wrapped in a soft yellow blanket. Handing her to Bellamy.

.

Nate arrive a few hours later, Bellamy and Clarke enjoyed their alone time with baby Aurora. But they were so excited for Nate to meet her.

Nate loved her immediately, cuddling up into Clarke's side so he could be close to his sister.

"She has a little nose." He told his parents.

Clarke and Bellamy laughed.

"You have a sister," Bellamy told him.

Their two-year-old nodded, getting up on his whines and fussed for a second.

"It's ok." He told her, kissing her on the forehead. "I'm your big brother. I'll take care of you."

"Good job buddy." Clarke smiled at him. "You're a great big brother."

Bellamy kiss the top of Nate's head. Remembering the day he met Octavia for the first time. He had promised to protect her. He whipped a tear away as he look at his family.

Feeling Clarke's gaze, he looked up to meet it. Bellamy know that they were fated. after all the blood and death, they made it through together.

Bellamy would bet anything that in another life, they would still end up here, together.

THE END!
