Authors note: I am so, so sorry for the long wait, but after two long years I'm back... for now?...

Korra woke up from the two-hour nap he had taken. He looked to his left and then slowly to his right, where his mom is still sleeping. Well, still in the plane. Goodbye home. Goodbye life, he thought sadly.

He looked through the window again, and as the time goes by, he slowly saw a big tower sticking out of the thick grey clouds, that had formed while he was sleeping. Moving is one, but also bad weather? This must be a sign for bad luck. He really wasn't the superstitious one in the family; that place belongs to his mom, but this can't be coincidence he thought.

But besides his homesickness that is already slowly building up, he had to admit that the city looked beautiful in the night's skyline. But as if the Greek God Zeus had heard him thinking, the sky began pouring thousands upon thousands of small water particles on the city. Is this really not a bad sign? He asked himself, I'm seriously slowly beginning to believe in superstition.

He heard small drops of rain falling on the roof of the airplane. The rain was quite peaceful and calming actually. He likes rain. He loves late night car rides when pouring outside. That in combination with acoustic music playing in the background, is for him one of his most favourite moments. Even walking in the rain under an umbrella with or without earbuds in – depending on his mood—is so calming. Okay, maybe I'm overthinking this, but maybe the sky's trying to calm me?

Korra was deep in thought, when he suddenly heard a voice from the intercom. ''Please put your phones off, and your seatbelts on, because we're going to land in a minute,'' the pilot announced. Korra and his parents did what they were told, and soon after some ear pain from the landing, they were on the ground again. Everyone around them began cheering and clapping.

They've arrived save and sound in Republic City.
