I don't even know what to say...except I'm sorry for the wait

Raven was wandering through the halls of the fallen Ark. Her first steps led her to the prison but neither Clarke or Lexa were there. She was getting more nervous every passing second and she started cursing herself for not making more of these timers for the power box.

Raven remembered what Anya told her about smells, every member of the pack is able to smell their alpha even from longer distance.

She stopped and looked around her to be sure that no one could see her. Then she closed her eyes and started sniffing the air. She smelled a lot of things from Skaikru dinner to the smell from the bathrooms. But one smell was different than the others somehow, nicer and stronger. She opened her eyes and decided to follow this scent.

She ran through a few empty corridors but when she turned another corner she finally saw Lexa with an unconscious Clarke in her arms. She ran to her. "Clarke?" She looked at Lexa. "What happened? Give her to me." She extended her arms to help the alpha. But the only answer to her question was growling from Lexa.

The wolf in Raven was telling her to not trust the Commander and take care of her alpha by herself but she knew that Lexa cared about Clarke, so she decided to leave it. "Ok, you take her." That visibly calmed the other alpha. "But you're going the wrong way and we need to hurry." Raven started running the way she came with an occasional glance behind her to see if the alphas were close.

After few moments they got out of the Ark and ran to the electric fence. Raven picked up a wooden stick from the ground and poked the fence to determine if the power was still off. When there were no sparkles she squeezed through the lines and nodded to Lexa. Alpha unwillingly handed Clarke through lines to Raven who took her into arms and waited until Lexa got through the fence too.

Raven quickly handed Clarke's body back to Lexa after receiving an intense glare from the alpha. "So will you tell me what happened?"

Lexa turned to her. "Yes, but not here. We need to find a cave for the night. It would be hard to walk through the forest in normal conditions but with Clarke in this state it's impossible."

Raven just nodded at that.

Lexa led them to a cave not far away where she gently laid Clarke on the ground. In the meantime Raven found a few sticks around the cave and brought them over. "So will you finally tell me what happened?"

Lexa moved away from Clarke and started making a fire. "I got to the prison and we even managed to get out without problems but then she fell on her knees. I don't know what happened to her but she looked like she was in pain." She looked at Raven, "in a lot of pain and when I touched her I felt like someone was putting tiny daggers into my hand."

Raven quickly chimed in. "That happened to me too."

"When, how?" Lexa looked at her.

Raven quickly averted her eyes to ground. "It was when Bellamy and Finn were taking you into the dropship."

The alpha growled at the memory. "Did she faint after that?"

The mechanic shook her head. "No, I gave her water and helped her."

Lexa frowned. "It happened before we were kidnaped by Mount Weather…" Raven didn't know if that was a statement or question but she nodded anyway.

"I have a question, come here." Lexa got up from the now completed fire and went to Clarke. She carefully turned her over and lifted the alpha's shirt up. She pointed at Clarke's upper back where there was a dull blue light glowing. "What is that?"

Raven moved closer to take a better look. "I don't know."

Lexa looked at her with wide eyes. "You want to tell me you don't have it?"

The other girl shook her head. "No, why should I have..." She looked closer to area from where the light was coming. "There is a medical cut."

"Yes I know that. First I thought the Mountain men had to something to do with it, that's why I didn't want to kill those we captured in TonDC. But she said she has had it for a really long time so it could be the work of your people."

"The only one who could do that is Abby." When Raven saw Lexa's confused face she explained. "Abby is Clarke's mother and medical chief. That woman who we met with guards, that's her."

Lexa growled at the memory how they treated her true mate.

"When we met them Abby took a small device from her pocket and I think it has to be connected to this thing inside of Clarke. How else could she send that electric shock through her body?" Raven thought for a moment. "But she couldn't start all of Clarke's faints. She wasn't there. There has to be something else what is starting it."

"I think it's when Clarke gets angry or upset." When Lexa saw Raven frowning she continued at her theory. "The wolf in her knows we are destined to be mates so when Bellamy dragged me into the Dropship, then again in Mount Weather this woman was drilling into me, she felt the need to protect me, and then it happened when we had a fight in the woods."

Raven nodded. "That sounds possible. We should ask her when she wakes."

Lexa nodded back at the mechanic. "Yes, go to sleep I will take the first watch."

Raven wanted to argue but she knew that the alpha was stubborn so she decided to just accept it and nodded her acceptance. She found a place in the cave that looked most comfortable and prepared to rest.

Lexa put Clarke's shirt back down and pulled her head into her lap.

Raven saw how Lexa started playing with Clarke's hair. "You love her, don't you?"

The alpha didn't even raise her head from watching the blonde girl. "She is my true mate."

"I'm not exactly an expert on all that wolf stuff but that is not the answer to my question."

Lexa just looked at Raven with an impassive look.

Raven shook her head. "You're just like Anya." She sighed. "Just make sure to talk with her about your fight in the woods." With that she laid down and turned her back to Lexa. Missing Lexa's confused face in regards to her statement.

Raven felt someone shaking her. "Five more minutes Anya." With that she turned on to her other side.

"It's not Anya."

Raven lazily opened her eyes and when she saw it wasn't really her girlfriend trying to wake her she quickly sat up. She saw how worried Lexa looked. "What's wrong?"

"Clarke still hasn't wake up. It never took this long before."

Raven got up, moved to her alpha and started shaking her. "Clarkey wake up! Rise and shine!"

"I tried this. It's not working. Plus her upper back is on fire. Skaikru did something to her. It's getting worse!" Lexa started pacing in the cave.

Raven started getting worried for her alpha. She touched the alpha's upper back over the shirt so she could affirm what Lexa said. "That's not good. We need to get her to the Dropship quickly."

Lexa stopped and nodded. "As wolves it will be faster." With that she shifted.

Raven nodded and lifted Clarke so she could put her on Lexa's back. "Is this good?" The wolf nodded. "I'll be behind you to make sure she isn't slipping." With that Raven shifted as well and they both ran outside.

They got to the Dropship in good time. When guards saw a huge wolf with their alpha laying on top they quickly opened the gate.

Raven and Lexa ran inside. All the delinquents stopped what they were doing to look at what was happening. Lexa wasn't paying them any attention and ran with Clarke into the Dropship.

Octavia quickly took Clarke and put her on a makeshift medical table. "What happened?"

Lexa shifted. "She fainted when I was taking her from the Ark and she still hasn't woken up."

Lincoln started looking over Clarke. "Her upper back is hot." He turned to Octavia. "Give me cold water and some cloths."

Raven got inside exactly the moment Lincoln started putting wet cloths on Clarke's back. Before she could shift she heard Lincoln yelp in pain and Clarke screams. She quickly shifted. "You can't put water there! You idiots you didn't see that blue light?" When everyone just looked at her, she pushed Lincoln aside and talked to him. "We need to dry that place." He nodded, took his shirt off and handed it to Raven.

Lexa knelt in front of the makeshift table and grabbed Clarke's hand. Clarke felt the pain again but she didn't moved away this time. Lexa just wanted the blonde girl to know she was there for her. "Clarke it will be ok."

Clarke held her hand painfully tight. "Recovery...surgery...out."

Lexa turned to other people in room. "What?"

Lincoln talked. "She is probably delirious from the pain, Heda." When he saw how Lexa glared at him he quickly bowed his head in shame for hurting his alpha's future mate.

Clarke's screaming slowly stopped and Lexa could feel the pain in her hand lessen but not disappear.

Raven threw the shirt back to Lincoln. "It should be ok now." She looked at him. "Just don't put water on her." She turned to everyone inside. "There are electrical pulses going through her body, if you put water on it, it will make it worse." When everyone nodded she moved away from Clarke. "Maybe if we take that thing out, it will stop."

Without taking her eyes off Clarke Lexa spoke. "So do it."

"I can't I'm not a doctor."

"So find one!" Lexa yelled and looked with bared teeth at Raven. Everyone in the room froze unsure of what the alpha would do.

After a long pause it was Anya who talked first and moved protectively between Lexa and Raven. "I'll go with Raven to TonDC. We will bring Nyko and Costia." Lexa nodded and looked back at the unconscious blonde.

"We will leave you alone." Anya looked at the others and all of them left.

Outside a huge crowd consisting of all the delinquents waiting for an update on Clarke.

"We need to go." Raven nodded to Anya who shifted. She yelled at the guards. "Open the gate." They did as she said. With that she changed and with Anya ran in direction of TonDC.

Bellamy looked at the crowd and started giving orders. "Put more guards on the wall and make sure they weren't followed. Everyone who knows how to shoot will be on the wall and we will send a few people to scout the area." A few delinquents nodded and moved to the wall with guns to take up their positions.

Octavia looked at him. "I'll go scout around. I know the area here best thanks to Lincoln."

Bellamy shook his head. "Lincoln can go."

"He should stay here. He is the only one who has any knowledge about healing."

Before Bellamy could complain about his sister leaving the safety of camp, Monroe stepped in. "I'll go with you. The more of us the better."

Octavia nodded. "Good." She looked at the crowd. "I want four more who can keep pace once we shift." When she had her four volunteers she continued. "We will go in pairs. If you see anything weird come back here. In case of emergency, howl and others will run to you." With a nod from everyone they shifted and began moving out of camp.

Bellamy sighed, distracted he didn't notice Lincoln joining him. "She is strong, you don't need to worry about her." When he didn't get an answer from Bellamy he changed the topic. "Well, I will guard the Dropship so no one bothers Clarke and Heda."

Harper came to them. "I'll help you." Lincoln and Bellamy nodded.

Lincoln and Harper took their position on either side of the entrance into the Dropship making sure that no one would go inside.

Bellamy turned to the crowd who was still there waiting. "You heard it. The best shooters on the wall. I want double the amount we normally have there. The rest of you do your daily works but have your eyes open." Everyone nodded and the crowd disperced to do what they were told. Bellamy nodded and with his rifle, and moved to take a position at the wall as well.

To be honest with you guys I have two more chapters done but I didn't write anything for about 2-3 years (I just never really get to posting it :D) and I'm kind of over clexa - I'm really sorry and it pains me to say it because those two idiots and the whole fandom were such a big part of my life and helped me trough a lot of things...Don't get me wrong I still love them and I will always ship them just not to the point when they're on my mind 24/7 and I have a need to write stories about them...well anyway what I'm trying to say is that I won't be writing anything after next two chapters for a long time (god knows when I will upload the next chapters - hope this time sooner than two years :D)
